Thanks Thomas!
Tumblr media
Thomas joined the team at LooseKeys right before the pandemic began. He's been with us for this wild adventure as we all tried to work during these crazy times. It’s been a pleasure having him working with us, we were able to create some really amazing videos over the last two years, especially while being remote.  We would have loved to have Thomas stay with us and help rock 2022 but other opportunities are calling to him.
Be sure to follow Thomas on twitter to keep up with the project he has brewing!

Welcome Thomas Donaldson!
Tumblr media
The LooseKeys team keeps growing! Thomas Donaldson is now the newest animator to join the LooseKeys team. We couldn’t be more excited to announce this news and have him on board with us.
Thomas has been freelancing with LooseKeys on and off for a few years so it’s likely you’ve seen his name pop up as an animator in the credits on a few videos, especially any that involved 3D animation. Thomas has a strong 3D background that will help bring some new life or rather a new dimension into the work you'll be seeing from LooseKeys. As Cinema 4D continues to be a driving force in the animation and motion graphics field, we're excited to see how we'll push our work and appeal to new requests from clients.
Thomas brings a boost in enthusiasm and creative energy to the team. Also, we might be working some fiddle sounds or animations into our videos for him so he can show off his fiddle skills.
You can see what Thomas gets up to in his spare time by following him on Instagram at @tomjd14.
Welcome to the team Thomas!

Thanks Torey!
Tumblr media
The past year has gone by very quickly and it seemed like Torey only just joined the team. After just a year, we are saying goodbye to Torey as she leaves the LooseKeys team. It’s been a pleasure having her working with us, she helped us complete a bunch of great animations and even increased our tea consumption.  We would have loved to have Torey stay with us but the freelance world was calling her name.
The motion graphics field is growing and changing at a rapid rate, wherever Torey’s path takes her, we wish her the best.

We had the chance to work with Bloomfire on another video, this time focusing on customer support. Bloomfire has been a wonderful client to work with over the years as their brand has evolved we've been able to help bring some more life to their marketing.
All the illustration work on this was based on their new branding; some of it was re-created off previous assets and some were built custom just for their video. Everything in this video blends nicely together along with the branding on the site.
Client: Bloomfire Company: LooseKeys Creative Director: Brad Chmielewski Design: Brad Chmielewski Animation: Brad Chmielewski, Torey Kervick, & Jc Tecklenburg Sound Design: Maeve Price Voice Over: Jason Kappus Software: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects & Adobe Premiere Pro

We recently had the opportunity to work with a local Chicago company; SonarMD. The health care space is always exciting and we are happy to explain some of these complicated concepts to the public.
For us, it was nice to do something a little more motion graphics heavy and take a step back from character animation. We're really happy with how it turned out and we hope you enjoy it as well. Welcome Torey Kervick!
Tumblr media
The LooseKeys team keeps growing! Torey Kervick is now the newest animator to join the LooseKeys team. We couldn’t be more excited to announce this news and have her on board!
Torey has been freelancing with us since the start of the new year, so it’s likely you’ve seen her name pop up as an animator on a few of the recent videos we’ve posted. Having a background as a videographer and editor before leaping into motion design work gives her a solid foundation for storytelling which is a huge part of what we do for our clients at LooseKeys.
She brings some great energy to the office and perhaps might get everyone to drink a bit less coffee and a little more tea. And hopefully, she introduces us all to some new bands; breaking us out of our current pandora playlists.
You can see what Torey gets up to in her spare time by following her on Instagram at @toreykervick

Best Of Luck Jake!
Tumblr media
After six years, Jake Williams is leaving the LooseKeys team. It’s been a joy having Jake as part of the team, he helped build and grow LooseKeys with every project he worked on. For the last few years, Jake has been working remote for LooseKeys, first in the Detroit area and now in Boston. So, although he hasn't been in the office for a while, he is leaving a big seat to be filled. We value all of his creative contributions to the awesome projects we’ve produced over the years.
Whichever direction Jake's adventures take him, we wish him the best!

The 2018 Austin Music Video Festival
This coming week is the 2018 Austin Music Video Festival. The festival features 100’s of music videos, parties, workshops, and of course, The Awards Show! The winners will be announced and awarded at the Awards Show on Saturday, December 8th. Why are we excited? Two of the music videos we created over the last year are up for awards!
In the "Keepin It Weird" category, the NGHTMRE & Dillian Francis music video is up for an award. This one is pretty neat because this was a video, where the team at LooseKeys tried to push the surreal and wacky when possible; so it's really exciting to see others picked up on this as well.
youtube
Then in the "Best Animation" category, our video for NGHTMRE & Dillian Francis and also our video for Diplo & Starrah were nominated. There are ten videos up for this award, and we're up against folks who did some incredible work, like the Humility video for Gorillaz. Yep, some stiff competition and it might sound played out, but it's an honor just to be nominated here and in the other category.
youtube
We'll be sure to share something after this weekend if we were able to pick up any awards. And, good luck to our friends at Simian Design; Marty Kane and Kyle Cogan have many videos up for awards!
