Writing Commissions!

I’ve been thinking about doing commissions for a while and here they are! In addition to this, that also means I’ve opened a ko-fi where you can leave a tip if you like my writing!

As always, my rules and fandoms apply, although there is one change I’m doing for this. I will allow commissions for fandoms I don’t write for, provided I get enough time to do extra research to write it properly! (It would also be nice if you tipped for the extra work but that’s not required)

Watching the Sunrise with Xiao

xiao x gn!reader

"Good evening, beloved."

"What are you doing up so late? It's way past evening."

You sat down next to the adeptus, the two of you sitting on the rooftop of Wangshu Inn. You scooted closer to him so that your thighs were touching, then leaned back onto your elbows.

"I wanted to see you, Xiao."

He turned his head to look at you, bewilderment written all over his face. 

"Your sleep is important, come on, I'll take you home." He made the movement to get up, but was stopped by your grip on his arm.

"Don't worry about me, darling. I wanted to watch the sunrise, and then I remembered how 'Adepti have no need for sleep.'" You said, furrowing your eyebrows and adding a rasp to your voice as you did your best impression of him.

As a response, he scoffed, returning to his original position and looking away from you.

"And you chose me? You know I'm not one for sitting around."

"Who better? I'm quite fond of your company, you know. Besides, I know you enjoy watching the little shows nature puts on."

He whipped his head around to look at you once more. "Are you talking about-"

"I wasn't, but now I am." You punctuated with a wink.

"It was one time. You should've seen the beetles, they were massive-" 

"I'm aware, love. You forget that you practically ripped my arm off dragging me over to them." You gently poked his arm.

"…I did apologize for that, right?"

You nodded, placing a hand on his chest to gently push him back, the both of you now laying on the slanted roof.

The next few moments were spent in a comfortable silence as you watched the stars slowly start to fade away. A gloved hand found yours, intertwining your fingers. 

Soon enough, the sun peeked its head over the horizon. The colors of the sky changing from a dark blue to a light pink, then a bright orange.

A yawn made its way past your lips, your eyes screwing shut for a moment.

"We should get some rest." He said, sitting up.

"We? Is the never resting Xiao tired for once?" You teased, sitting up as well.

He merely stood up, pulling you with him as he helped you off the roof. Soon enough, the two of you were sound asleep tucked into a bed in one of the empty rooms at the inn.

Aerith could see through you. Not only was your silence very telling, but just by looking at you she could tell there was something wrong.

“Okay, out with it” She told you in that cheerful and warm tone of hers. “What is it?”

“What?” You absently mumbled, having been lost in your thoguhts until she piped up.

“Something’s obviously bothering you” Aerith took your hand in hers and showed you a friendly smile. “So talk to me!”

“I just…” You took a deep breath, equal times flustered and endeared by her attentive stare. “Why are you even my friend?”

“What do you mean why, silly?” She giggled, lovingly squeezing your hand. “Because I like you!”

“But why?” You averted your gaze now, feeling undeserving of her love. “I’m so… worthless”

“Don’t say that!” Aerith exclaimed, in a surprisingly harsh voice. Despite it all, her tone still held part of her usual warmth and affection. “You’re great, Y/N!”

“No, I’m not…” You insisted, feeling tears welling up in your eyes. “I’m not good enough to be your friend”

“Hey, you listen to me” She didn’t give up, gently tugging at you until you timidly looked up at her. “You’re more than good enough to be my friend, you know how much I like interesting people, why would I be around you if you weren’t?”

“I guess…” You shrugged a little, finding it very hard to ignore all your insecurities.

“You’re very important to me, Y/N, and I enjoy having you around!” This time, she energetically tugged at your hand, causing you to smile in spite of yourself. “So don’t say those things about yourself, please!”

“Okay…” You mumbled, daring to quickly glance at her again. “Sorry”

“That’s better” Aerith returned to her lively smile. “Now let’s get you something yummy to eat, it’ll help!”

Imagine: Going to a haunted house with Prompto

The haunted house was dark, silent and eerie. Your footsteps loudly resonated everywhere in the quietness of that room. Noctis, Gladio and Ignis had insisted on letting you and Prompto go first, it had to be very amusing to let the scaredy cats lead the way.

Now, Prompto wasn’t a coward, but he did get startled easily. Despite it all, he had promised himself to stay calm when he noticed you were much worse than him. First of all, because he wanted to stay strong in order to comfort you. Secondly, because he didn’t want to embarrass himself in front of you. He kept telling himself that, what kind of bad impression would he give if he was so scared in front of his crush?

“Okay…” You were saying as you very slowly advanced through the haunted house, ignoring Gladio’s hands impatiently pushing you forward. “Okay, this is fine”

“Don’t worry, Y/N” Prompto forced himself to say, even if his whole body had tensed up in anticipation. “There’s nothing to fear, we’re ok-aaaaah!”

Just then, a person dressed as a monster jumped out from the shadows and yelled at you. On cue, the lights began flickering and the artificial sound of thunder echoed around you. Your reactions caused your friends to laugh behind you.

Prompto yelped and jumped in place, but you screamed at the top of your lungs and hid your face on his arm, shrinking closer to him. You tugged at him as you sped up, dragging him forward with you so harshly that he felt like you were going to rip his arm off. The others’ guffaws only troubled you further.

“I-It’s okay” Prompto insisted, even if his voice was now high-pitched. “That was just a normal person dressed up as a monster. It’s okay!”

You didn’t reply, wondering if he was talking to you or to himself. Although he was clearly spooked himself, you appreciated the fact that he was trying very hard to be there to comfort you. It gave you strength to face the rest of the attraction when, as you clung onto him and continued walking, you thought that it least this gave you an excuse to stay very close to Prompto.

BEING PROMPTO’S STRONGER S/O

Prompto is a somewhat short and thin person, at least compared to you

You’re taller and bigger than him, and also definitely stronger

Even if you weren’t bigger, you exercise a lot and work on your strength

On the one hand, Prompto feels very safe and protected with you

Especially when you hold him, he feels so enveloped and cozy

On the other hand, your size makes him feel a little insecure

He used to be chubby, but now he feels a little skinny with you

And really short, almost like he’s not good enough for you

Because he wants to protect you like you protect him

What if he can’t? Maybe you should be with someone who can

But you know Prompto and realize this even if he doesn’t tell you

You know he doesn’t want to burden you with his insecurities

But you reassure him that he’s perfect for you, and that he’s lovely

Especially, you tell him that you feel safe with him regardless

You may be bigger, but you know he can still protect you

And even if he couldn’t, that’s not the reason you’re together

“But Y/N... don’t you want someone stronger... like you...?”

You know Prompto always thought you were into Gladio

He’s more like you, bigger and stronger, unlike Prompto (or so he thinks)

But you sweetly take your boyfriend’s face in your hands

“Prom, I want you and only you, because you’re strong on your own way”

“What do you mean?” “Maybe you’re not muscular like Gladio, so what?”

“You don’t mind?” “Of course not, I know you can still take care of me”

“Y/N... you really think so?” “I do, because you are kind and sweet and that’s what I love about you, not your muscles or strength”

When you say that, Prompto finally breathes and smiles

You two hug, and he doesn’t bring it up ever again

Now he feels a lot better, and doesn’t get insecure about it

So your relationship improves even more, it’s so perfect

In fact, Prompto starts complimenting you more often

Now he doesn’t mind that much that you’re stronger

“Wow, look at my strong Y/N kicking ass!” “Thanks, Prom”

Sometimes you lovingly hug him and lift him off the ground

Prompto always gets really flustered when you do this

But the boys always laugh when they see you do it

After that initial bump, things have gone smoothly since then

Everyone says you two make a really adorable couple
