Every day I wake up next to this beautiful human being and I thank God for giving me the chance to love her with everything I have. The last few years we have gone through more downs then ups but we have stuck by each other’s sides the entire time. 2017 was a year of growth. There were good days but there were more bad days. We had to say goodbye to a beautiful woman who we were lucky enough to share almost 83 years with. Brit lost her job and we struggled to make ends meet. We crawled and scraped and did a very best to keep moving forward but we made it through. Today I found out that one of my favorite human beings finally found peace. After years of battling dementia and primary progressive aphasia, you can now be at peace in a better place and no longer be in pain.
