꩜ .ᐟ PRETTY BOY 千切 豹馬
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
˗ˏˋ 🍥 ˎˊ˗ chigiri hyoma x reader ⋆˚࿔ fluff, established rs ⋆˚࿔ 0.3k wc
WHEREIN you always thought chigiri hyoma was the prettiest boy you’ve ever seen.
Tumblr media
you were lying across his lap, while his fingers gently carded through your hair. his other hand lazily scrolled through his phone, the screens glow reflecting faintly against his striking eyes.
those eyes—sharp and bright, like garnets catching sunlight—always looked softer when they were on you. even now, in this quiet moment, you couldn’t help but stare up at him.
his beauty was impossible to ignore. his long red hair, pulled loosely behind his shoulder, swayed slightly every time he moved. he looked like he belonged in a painting—elegant, distant, untouchably calm.
“you’re so pretty,” you murmured absentmindedly, reaching up to cup his cheek.
chigiri blinked, startled just slightly by the sudden touch. he set his phone aside and looked down at you, his lips curving into a quiet smile. “that came out of nowhere.”
“i hate how you’re prettier than me,” you pouted playfully, tucking a stray strand of his hair behind his ear. “it’s unfair.”
he laughed softly—low and melodic, like wind brushing through petals. “i hate you too,” he replied, voice teasing but his gaze far too fond to be convincing. “you make me nervous all the time. it’s killing me.”
his hand slid to your cheek, brushing your skin with careful tenderness. and then, without a word, he leaned down to press a soft kiss to your forehead. “and how beautiful you are,” he whispered after, like a confession he’s been meaning to say.
your breath caught, lips parting slightly. with a flutter of courage, you leaned up and kissed him—slow and gentle, like telling him thank you without saying it aloud.
you pulled back with a smile. “don’t you have training today?”
he shrugged, eyes not leaving yours. “had.”
and before you could protest, he leaned down again to kiss you—this time a little deeper, a little longer.
“you make me wanna skip training,” he murmured against your lips, as if the words had been waiting there all along.
you giggled between kisses, your hand resting on his chest as he leaned in once more, whispering like a secret only meant for you: “i love you.”
and in that moment, with the world stilled around you, the only thing that existed was the warmth of his voice, his lips, and the quiet thrum of your heartbeat matching his.

꩜ .ᐟ SOFT SPOT kinich
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
˗ˏˋ 🦢 ˎˊ˗ kinich x reader ⋆˚࿔ flufff ! established rs ⋆˚࿔ 0.7k wc
WHEREIN kinich, the quietest one, holds the warmest part of his heart just for you.
Tumblr media
the sun spilled golden warmth over natlan’s red-hued plains, light flickering like embers dancing along the rugged paths. you walked slowly, hands loosely clasped behind your back, just returning from a simple commission—no hilichurls, just errands for the locals. a quiet day here was a rare gift.
rounding a bend, you spotted a familiar tree— wide—branching and stubbornly rooted atop a gentle rise. kinich’s favorite resting spot, you knew, and your lips curved into a soft smile without thinking.
“kinich!” you called out, voice light and warm as the breeze.
he was leaning against the trunk, arms crossed, head tilted slightly back. he didn’t move, and for a moment you thought he might’ve been asleep. not wanting to disturb him, you slowed your steps, trying to tiptoe past—until a hand landed on your arm from behind.
you flinched, spinning around, only to find kinich… upside down, hanging from a thick branch above. you blinked rapidly. “kinich! you shouldn’t be up there—what if you fall?”
“hey,” he greeted casually, like gravity didn’t apply to him. “you always worry like that?”
you stepped back a little, flustered by how close his face was to yours. “it’s dangerous,” you mumbled, trying not to stare too long at the way his hair hung around his face like ink in water.
he blinked lazily, then let go of the branch with zero hesitation, landing cleanly in front of you with a soft thud. “you need something?”
you smiled, the kind that curled at the corners like sunlight through leaves, and looked at him with quiet hope. “i just wanted to ask if you wanted to walk with me.”
kinich slipped his hands into his pockets, his voice calm but teasing. “you always ask,” he said, “but you already know the answer.”
and it was true. every time you asked, he always said yes.
he started walking ahead, long strides leisurely, before stopping and glancing over his shoulder. “what’re you waiting for?”
you let out a soft laugh and hurried to catch up. “hmm… where’s ajaw?” you asked, noticing the quiet absence of the ever-talkative companion.
“put him in time-out. he was giving me a headache.” kinich shrugged.
the two of you fell into comfortable silence—only the whisper of warm wind and the distant crackle of natlan’s wildlands around you.
you stole a glance at him, again. the way the sunlight threaded through his dark hair, the breeze brushing softly against his jawline—he looked peaceful. most people misunderstood kinich because of how quiet and detached he seemed. but you knew better. underneath that calm exterior, he was deeply thoughtful. gentle, in his own quiet way.
he suddenly stopped walking, turning his head slightly toward you. “you’re staring again.”
you froze and looked away. “i wasn’t…”
“you do that when you want to say something.” his voice was soft, unreadable. not accusing, just noticing.
you looked down, “i was just thinking…”
he waited, patient as always.
“i really like how quiet it gets when we’re together,” you said, barely above a whisper. “it’s not awkward. it’s just… calm.”
kinich let out a low hum, his gaze steady. “funny. i was just thinking that being around you makes silence feel better.”
you looked at him, surprised, and caught the faintest tug at the corner of his lips.
“it’s strange,” he continued, “how i want to talk more when i’m with you. like i want to say everything, but i don’t know how.”
your heart fluttered at the admission. you hadn’t expected him to say something so—soft.
“you don’t need to say everything,” you said quietly. “i think… i already understand a lot. just by being with you.”
kinich stared at you for a beat, and the sunlight caught his eyes just right—they looked like honey under glass. his hand lifted, brushing a strand of hair behind your ear before tapping your forehead gently with his knuckle.
“you’re too soft for this world,” he murmured, then added with a small smile, “lucky for me.”
you felt your face heat up, warmth spreading in your chest. he chuckled—low and short—and glanced up at the sky. “the sun’s coming down soon,” he said, offering his hand casually like it wasn’t a big deal. “come on. let’s walk a little longer.”
you took it without hesitation, your fingers fitting easily in his.
and for a while, you walked—hand in hand—no more words needed, just the sound of your footsteps, the rustle of trees, and two quiet heartbeats in sync with the setting sun.

꩜ .ᐟ THE EASIEST LOVE 양정원
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— ✮⋆˙ yang jungwon x reader ✮⋆˙ fluff with comfort, high school au, established relationship ✮⋆˙ 0.5k wc ✮⋆˙ 💬 inspired by a song (you’ll be in my heart !)
WHEREIN yang jungwon made you realize that loving you is like breathing fresh air.
Tumblr media
you were scared to love again—scared of the past, of breaking your own heart, of losing yourself like before.
you admit it, you were terrified. terrified that maybe love wasn’t for you after all.
but jungwon came into your life, like a quiet sunrise you didn’t even realize you needed. he made it feel so easy, so natural—like loving you was never something he had to think twice about. like you were always meant to be loved.
and now, here you were. sitting together on his rooftop on a school night, taking a break from studying, the city lights blinking softly in the distance. the breeze was cold, but being next to him made everything feel warm.
jungwon noticed the way you grew quiet. not your usual peaceful quiet, but a kind of silence that weighed heavy, like there were thoughts you were trying to hide.
he knew you—knew you too well to ignore it.
“hey,” he said, nudging you gently with his elbow. “you alright?” you glanced at him, forcing a small smile. “yeah. why?”
he smiled too, the kind of smile where his dimples peeked out and his eyes crinkled at the corners. “i know you,” he said simply. “you can tell me anything, you know.”
he didn’t rush you. he just sat there, letting the night wrap around the two of you, waiting for you to be ready.
after a few seconds, you finally spoke.
“it’s just… maybe i’m doubting,” you admitted, voice barely above a whisper. you looked down at your hands. “i feel like i’m not good enough for you. like i’m just… dragging you down.”
jungwon stayed silent, letting you finish.
“i heard people say it too—that you’re too good for me. and… maybe they’re right.”
jungwon’s brows furrowed immediately. he shifted closer to you, gently taking your hand in his.
“don’t listen to them,” he said, his voice soft but firm. “they don’t know anything about us. you’re good enough for me. you always have been.”
he squeezed your hand lightly. “and you’re not a burden, not even close. if you still think you’re hard to love,” he paused, his smile gentle, “then you’re wrong. because loving you is the easiest thing i’ve ever done.”
you stared at him, your heart aching in the best way.
he meant every word. even with the dim light, you could see it—the way he stared at you like you were the only thing that mattered. like he didn’t want anyone else. like you were home.
“won,” you whispered, feeling the sting of tears threatening to fall. you prayed he wouldn’t notice but of course, he did. he always did.
he laughed softly, reaching up to caress your cheek. his touch was featherlight, like he was afraid you might break.
“you can cry if you want to, you know,” he said, teasing but kind. you laughed too, shaking your head. “i don’t wanna cry right now.”
instead, you leaned forward, resting your forehead against his shoulder. breathing him in. grounding yourself in him.
“thank you, won,” you mumbled. “for everything.” he held you tighter, resting his chin lightly on your head.
“always,” he whispered. and somehow, you knew he meant it.
no matter how scared you were before, no matter what anyone said—jungwon made it clear, simply by being there.
loving you was easy. loving him back? even easier.

꩜ .ᐟ LOVE YOU, STILL 西村力
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— ✮⋆˙ nishimura riki x reader ✮⋆˙ second chance romance, angst with comfort, high school au, fluff, exes to lovers ✮⋆˙ 0.9k wc ✮⋆˙ grammar errors
WHEREIN you broke up because your worlds no longer moved at the same pace—but the feelings never stopped.
Tumblr media
you and riki were pretty different.
you were a student journalist—always busy, always running after deadlines, always scribbling in your notebook. and he was a student athlete—the school’s pride, constantly training and traveling for games. in short, your worlds moved at different speeds.
and yet, somehow, the two of you still fell for each other.
it didn’t make sense sometimes. you didn’t even know how it happened—how a quiet afternoon turned into inside jokes, how shared glances became holding hands. but it happened.
then the arguments started. over time. your schedules clashed more than they synced. texts went unanswered, promises faded into excuses, and arguments took the place of laughter. riki needed presence, and you were always in a rush. you needed understanding, and riki was always tired.
still, breaking up felt like pulling the last thread on something sacred. you walked away telling yourself it was better this way.
eventually, you broke it off. but the feelings never really disappeared. maybe it was really your fault that you ended things.
Tumblr media
“eunchae, please,” you whispered as you begged your friend. “come with me to the field. i have to take pictures for the paper.”
you didn’t mention that he might be there. you didn’t need to. eunchae knew.
you both walked to the field. she sat on the bench while you did your thing, snapping pictures of the team. your camera lens found him before you could stop it—riki, focused, fast, almost glowing under the afternoon sun.
when you came back, eunchae was staring at you with that look. “okay, let’s go,” you said, trying not to look at the photos you’d just taken. but eunchae didn’t stand. “wait,” she said. “he’s coming.”
your chest tightened. “eun—” you didn’t even get to finish your sentence before you heard him.
“hey.” you turned around. there he was. standing right in front of you like no time had passed. same calm voice. same soft eyes.
“uhm… how are you?” he asked. you froze for a second. eunchae elbowed you. “i’m fine,” you replied, trying to sound normal. “just busy. you?”
“yeah, same.” he nodded. “i just came over to… well… invite you. we have a game tomorrow. you can come if you want. both of you.”
you blinked. “uhm… i’ll check my schedule. thanks, though,” you said, trying to keep your voice neutral. your eyes avoided his, and before he could say anything else, you gave eunchae a subtle look—it was time to go.
you turned and started walking away, not waiting to see if she followed. eunchae stayed and smiled, “we’ll definitely come!”
you paused mid-step. your head turned slightly, just enough to catch her smiling at him. “eunchae!” you hissed. when she caught up to you, she was grinning.
“he still likes you, y'know,” she said, nudging you. “why not give him another chance?” you shrugged. “i don’t know, chae. i was the one who ended it… i don’t think i deserve to.”
“maybe,” she said, wrapping her arm around yours. “but love isn’t about deserving. it’s about trying.” you sighed. “i hope you didn’t just say yes to that invitation.” she stopped in front of her classroom door and winked. “oops. class is starting! bye!!”
you groaned. “eunchae!”
Tumblr media
the day of the game came.
you were sitting in the lower bleachers, arms crossed, trying to pretend like you weren’t annoyed. “you owe me, eunchae,” you grumbled. “oh, come on. we’re cheering for our school! and besides, you’re literally here to write for the school paper,” she teased.
you rolled your eyes, but your heart stopped when you saw him. he looked good—focused, determined—but his eyes softened when they met yours. for a second, you swore he smiled. but then he turned away, called by his teammates.
“you’re imagining things,” you muttered. but you kept watching. the game started. and no matter how hard you tried to focus on writing notes or taking pictures, your eyes kept going back to him.
every time he scored, you found yourself clapping. every time he looked in your direction, your heart did that thing again.
then it was down to the wire. tie game. seconds left.
riki had the ball.
your breath caught.
he scored.
the stadium roared, and you stood without realizing, clapping, heart loud in your ears.
but the world froze again when he ran—past his team, past the noise, straight to you. riki didn’t hesitate. he didn’t even think twice. he stopped in front of you, cheeks flushed, hair sticking to his forehead, jersey in hand.
“what the hell are you doing?” you asked, voice caught between shock and disbelief. riki laughed under his breath, the kind of laugh you missed—soft, nervous, real. then he held the jersey out to you. “this is for you.”
you stared at it. “riki…”
“i still love you, you know?” he said, not looking away this time. your breath hitched. you didn’t know what to say. but he kept going, his voice low and sincere, “i know we didn’t work before. and maybe we still won’t. but… i played better today because you were here. i felt like i could finally breathe again.”
you looked down at the jersey, then back at him. “you’re so annoying,” you muttered, trying to hide your smile as you took it from his hands.
riki grinned. “you missed me.” you rolled your eyes, but the way you clutched his jersey a little tighter said everything. maybe this wasn’t about fixing everything all at once. maybe it was just about trying again.
and maybe—just maybe—that was enough.

꩜ .ᐟ LITTLE THINGS 이희승
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— ✮⋆˙ heeseung x reader ✮⋆˙ fluff, established relationship, non-idol au ✮⋆˙ 0.7k wc ✮⋆˙ grammar errors
WHEREIN heeseung finds himself falling more in love with you every time you do the smallest things.
Tumblr media
every little thing you did made heeseung’s heart race in ways he never thought possible. he always told himself he wasn’t the type to get caught up in the small details—but then you came along
it was the way you’d smile at him, that quiet kind of smile, like you knew all his secrets and still loved him anyway. the way your eyes crinkled at the corners when you laughed, the way they softened when you looked at him.
heeseung could get lost in your eyes—he had, so many times.
heeseung was on his way home after you’d sent him out to buy a few things. as he walked past a small flower shop, the colorful display caught his eye. it instantly reminded him of you and the way you always lit up whenever you two visited one.
“did you know daisies symbolize purity and innocence?” you’d say, rambling random flower facts while pointing to your favorites.
he smiled to himself. it was one of the many reasons he fell for you—your curious mind and the way you turned even the simplest outings into something memorable.
on the bus ride home, he overheard a group of friends saying their goodbyes. it reminded him of how you always waved at your friends with the sweetest smile before rushing over to him.
heeseung couldn’t help but chuckle softly, looking down at his phone. your messages popped up on the screen.
lovelove ❤️
food’s almost cold!
stay safe, i love you!
oh yeah, i think i miss you already:(
he laughed at the cute sticker you’d sent along with it. snapping a quick picture of himself on the bus, he texted back:
my fav person ! 💞
on my way. don’t eat without me! :)
when heeseung finally arrived home, you greeted him at the door, practically throwing your arms around him. “woah, easy there,” he chuckled, wrapping an arm around your waist.
your face was glowing, your eyes sparkling with sincerity, warmth, and love—the kind of look that made him fall in love with you all over again.
“welcome home! oh, let me get these—thank you for buying them,” you said, pulling away to grab the bags from his hands. he watched you with a fond smile as you disappeared into the kitchen.
“oh, and dinner’s ready!” you called out. “i also bought your favorite drink yesterday.”
heeseung sat down at the dining table, resting his chin on his hand as he watched you move around the kitchen, chattering about your day. you pulled his drink from the fridge, placing it on the table with a proud smile.
“oh, and yeah—” you paused when you noticed his silence. “everything okay?”
heeseung blinked, his thoughts catching up. “yeah,” he said, smiling softly.
you squinted at him as you sat down across from him, serving portions of food onto both plates. “you’re giving me that look again, hee.”
“what look?”
“like you’re trying to manipulate me or something,” you joked, though your cheeks warmed under his gaze.
he laughed at your playful tone, leaning forward to brush a strand of hair away from your face. “you’re funny. but you know what? you do the same thing to me all the time. your eyes, your smile… even the little things about you make me forget everything else.”
your heart raced at his words, your cheeks now burning. “you’re being so dramatic,” you mumbled, suddenly shy.
“i’m not,” he said, his voice soft but firm. “everything i said is true.”
heeseung picked up his chopsticks and started eating like he hadn’t just turned your heart racing so fast it felt like it might burst.
as the night deepened, the two of you stayed like that—sharing food, laughter, and quiet moments where words weren’t necessary.
later, you both found yourselves curled up on the couch, a soft blanket draped over you as you rested your head on his chest. the sound of his heartbeat matched the rhythm of your own, steady and comforting.
later, as you lay curled up on the couch together, heeseung rested his chin on top of your head. “you know,” he murmured, “you’re everything i never knew i needed.”
you tilted your head to meet his gaze, his eyes full of love that left you breathless. “and you,” you whispered back, “are the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
heeseung smiled, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
and as you closed your eyes, you thought of the way he looked at you—like you were the only person in the world.

꩜ .ᐟ WAY DIFFERENT 박종성
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— ✮⋆˙ slytherin!jay x hufflepuff!reader ✮⋆˙ fluff, harry potter au ✮⋆˙ 0.9k wc ✮⋆˙ grammar errors
wherein they thought jay was just like every other slytherin, but he wasn’t.
Tumblr media
people always whispered about slytherin. it was the house of ambition, cunning, and—unfortunately—reputation. words like “trouble” and “arrogance” clung to its name, and most students believed the stereotypes. you weren’t sure what to think of it yourself, but you believed in giving people a chance.
and then there was park jeongsong—or jay, as most people called him.
you admitted he had the face of someone who might snap easily. and, well, maybe that part was true. but the more you observed him, the more you noticed he wasn’t like the others. he’d sit quietly with his friends, barely speaking unless spoken to, and honestly didn’t seem to care much about anyone else’s business.
he was intriguing, to say the least.
“wait, are you serious?” jake asked, stopping mid-step as you walked through the castle corridors.
“yes, i’m serious,” you replied with a soft laugh. “what’s so surprising about that?”
“because you’re curious about jay,” jake said, giving you a look of disbelief. “like, park jeongsong jay?”
you frowned slightly. “yeah, why? isn’t he your friend?”
jake shrugged, his grin teasing. “i mean, i guess. i consider everyone friends, lowkey. but jay’s... different. just be careful around him.”
“is this because he’s a slytherin?” you asked, crossing your arms.
“maybe,” jake said, his grin widening mischievously. “or maybe it’s just me being a good friend and looking out for you.”
you rolled your eyes but couldn’t help the small smile tugging at your lips. “noted, jake. thanks. anyway, what class do you have next?”
“potions.”
“oh, good luck,” you said with a sympathetic smile. “heard professor snape’s in one of his moods today.”
“great. can’t wait,” jake muttered, waving you off.
the charms classroom was already filled with sunlight when you arrived. taking your usual seat near the back, you pulled out your supplies and tried to push the conversation with jake out of your mind. but when jay walked in, it was impossible not to notice him.
he moved with quiet confidence, his expression unreadable as he took a seat with the other slytherins. he didn’t bother looking around the room, but when his eyes almost met yours, you quickly averted your gaze, pretending to adjust your quill.
professor flitwick’s cheerful energy soon filled the room, making it easy to focus—until he announced a paired activity.
your usual partner wasn’t there today, and everyone else had already grouped up. just as you were about to start the task alone, the chair beside you shifted.
“wanna be partners?”
you looked up, startled to see jay standing there. his voice was calm, his expression neutral, but his lips curved into a faint, polite smile.
“oh, um—yes, of course,” you replied quickly, smiling back.
working with jay was unexpectedly pleasant. his presence, though intimidating at first, became comforting as you worked together.
you found yourself surprised by how easy it was to talk to him. jay wasn’t just helping you; he was actually engaging in conversation, correcting your wand movements gently and offering tips in a way that made you feel comfortable
“you’re getting it,” he said, nodding slightly as you performed the spell successfully. “just keep your wrist steady like that.”
“thanks,” you said, glancing at him with a small smile.
but the moment was shattered by whispers from behind you.
“why is jay partnering with a hufflepuff?”
“isn’t she a half-blood?”
“ugh, filthy—”
jay’s gaze snapped to the group, his voice cutting through the whispers like a blade. “excuse me,” he said coolly, his tone polite but firm. “if you have something to say, perhaps you should keep it to yourself. your voices are distracting.”
the slytherins fell silent under his piercing stare, and when he turned back to you, his expression softened again.
“sorry about that,” he said quietly. “let’s focus on the next spell.”
you nodded, your heart fluttering slightly. “thank you. i appreciate it.”
jay smiled faintly. “they were being jerks anyway,” he muttered, leaning back slightly. “it’s honestly embarrassing how much they care about things that don’t matter.”
you laughed softly. “i guess i didn’t expect you to defend me. i mean, you’re slytherin, and i’m...” jay raised an eyebrow, his lips tugging up slightly. “what? a hufflepuff? a half-blood? do i seem like the type to care about that?”
you blinked, momentarily taken aback. “no... but i guess i didn’t expect you to be so—gentle.”
jay leaned back in his chair, his eyes glinting with amusement. “gentle? that’s a new one.”
the two of you finished the activity in sync, earning praise from professor flitwick and points for both your houses. as the class ended, you packed up your things and walked out together.
“thanks for partnering with me,” you said as you turned to face him. “it was surprisingly fun.”
jay smirked, his hands slipping into his pockets. “surprising, huh?”
“a little,” you admitted with a laugh.
just as you were about to turn away, jay called your name. when you glanced back, he was leaning casually against the doorframe, a playful smirk on his lips.
“so,” he said, his tone casual but curious, “did i change your perspective on slytherins?”
you smiled, tilting your head slightly. “yeah, you did. and i’m glad to know there’s still someone like you in slytherin.”
jay watched you walk away, shaking his head with a soft laugh. “a hufflepuff who’s this straightforward... ridiculous,” he muttered to himself, a small smile lingering on his lips as he headed down the hall.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
— ✮⋆˙ nonidol!sunghoon x reader ✮⋆˙ fluff ✮⋆˙ 0.8k wc ✮⋆˙ grammar errors
wherein its your anniversary with sunghoon, and he takes you on a special date to the beach.
Tumblr media
the sun was shining brightly as you leaned against the car window, letting the breeze caress your face. the warm rays kissed your skin, making you close your eyes in contentment. the hum of the car engine and the fresh scent of the ocean in the distance added to the tranquil atmosphere.
beside you, sunghoon drove with one hand on the wheel and the other resting on your lap. every so often, he glanced at you, his lips tugging into a soft smile as if seeing you like this made his whole day brighter.
“we’re almost there,” he said casually, but the glimmer in his eyes gave away his excitement.
you opened your eyes, and as soon as you spotted the sparkling blue of the ocean ahead, you gasped softly. “the beach?” you asked, turning to him with wide, excited eyes.
he grinned, dimple showing. “you caught me. thought I’d surprise you for our anniversary.”
you couldn’t hold back your excitement any longer. the moment the car stopped, you kicked off your sandals and ran toward the beach, the sand cool and soft beneath your feet. the salty breeze filled your lungs as you twirled around, arms stretched out, feeling free and alive.
when you turned around, sunghoon was still by the car, leaning against the door with his hands in his pockets. he looked effortlessly handsome in his casual white button-up and rolled-up sleeves, the sea breeze ruffling his hair.
he was watching you, his gaze soft but intense, like he was memorizing the way you looked in that moment.
“c’mon, hoon! what are you waiting for? enjoy the breeze with me,” you called out, waving him over.
he smirked, finally pushing himself off the car and walking toward you with that effortless grace he always had. when he reached you, he didn’t say a word; instead, he lifted you off the ground, spinning you around as your laughter echoed through the air.
“put me down!” you squealed, but your smile betrayed your protest.
he raised a brow, the corner of his lips curling mischievously. “hmm… no, i think i like holding you like this.”
“sunghoon,” you said in warning, but the glint in his eyes told you he had no intention of listening.
before you could say another word, he started walking toward the water. “hoon, no! don’t you dare!” you shrieked, wriggling in his arms.
“don’t what? i’m just taking you for a little swim,” he teased, stepping into the cool waves.
“hoon, i swear—”
and then it happened. both of you toppled into the water with a splash, the coldness making you gasp. when you surfaced, you saw sunghoon laughing, his smile as bright as the sun reflecting off the waves.
“you’re so dead, park sunghoon!” you yelled, splashing him with water.
he gasped dramatically, pretending to be offended. “oh, so that’s how it’s gonna be?”
with that, a playful water fight broke out. your laughter mixed with his as the two of you splashed and dodged each other, completely carefree. it was moments like this—where the world faded, and it was just the two of you—that you cherished most.
by the time the sun began to set, the beach was painted in hues of gold and pink. you sat together on a large picnic blanket spread across the sand, wrapped in a soft, oversized throw to keep the cool evening breeze at bay.
sunghoon had set up a small wooden tray filled with your favorite snacks and drinks, the thoughtful gesture making your heart melt.
you leaned back on your hands, watching the waves gently roll onto the shore. the fading sunlight bathed everything in a warm glow, including sunghoon, who sat beside you with his arm resting casually behind you.
you caught him staring at you, his expression soft and full of something unspoken. “what?” you asked, feeling shy under his gaze.
“you’re just…” he paused, his voice lowering. “so beautiful.”
your cheeks warmed, and you quickly looked away, hugging your knees to your chest. “stop it,” you mumbled, but the smile on your lips gave you away.
he chuckled, scooting closer until you felt his warmth against your side. gently, he tugged you toward him, letting your head rest on his shoulder. you could feel his steady heartbeat as the two of you watched the sun dip below the horizon.
“happy anniversary, love,” he murmured, his voice tender. “to more moments like this. just us.”
you glanced up at him, your heart swelling with affection. leaning up, you pressed a soft kiss to his jawline, earning a smile from him. “happy anniversary, hoon. i wouldn’t trade this for anything.”
he turned his head slightly, brushing a stray strand of hair from your face. his thumb lingered on your cheek for a moment before he leaned down to kiss your forehead. “neither would i.”
as the stars began to twinkle in the sky, you stayed wrapped up in each other, surrounded by the soothing sound of waves and the comfort of knowing you were right where you belonged—with him.

when christmas doesn’t feel like christmas, but nishimura riki exists.

It was Christmas again. Time had flown by so fast that with just one blink, it was already the season where families gather to celebrate and enjoy each other's company.
Christmas was supposed to be fun, right? But this year, it didn't feel like Christmas at all. And that made you sad, especially since Christmas was your favorite time of the year.
You sighed as you stared at the dining table. You’d prepared all the food, thinking your family would be there to enjoy it with you. But plans had changed.
Your parents were called into the hospital for a sudden emergency, and your older siblings couldn’t make it home because of college. You honestly hated being the youngest sometimes.
The coldness outside matched the emptiness you were feeling. The winter chill wasn’t just in the air—it was in your heart.
"I guess I’ll just watch a movie and eat the food," you muttered to yourself, trying to sound upbeat. You didn’t want your Christmas to be gloomy, but it was hard to shake the feeling.
You had just settled onto the couch with your food when your phone rang. You glanced at the screen and saw Riki’s name. A smile immediately spread across your face as you answered.
“Hey, Ri! Merry Christmas!” you greeted, your voice brighter than you felt.
“Merry Christmas, baby,” Riki’s voice came through the phone, warm and familiar.
“So, how’s your Christmas going?” you asked, as you flopped back onto the couch with a small sigh.
“Doing fine. How about you?” Riki’s tone shifted slightly, sensing the difference in your voice.
You hesitated before replying. “Yeah, everything’s okay. It’s just… my family’s not here, so I’m spending Christmas Eve alone. But it’s fine, nothing to worry about,” you said, trying to brush it off with a laugh.
But Riki wasn’t fooled. “Everything’s really okay?” he asked, concern lacing his voice. He knew how much Christmas meant to you.
You smiled softly. “Yeah, really. It’s just a bit… lonely, I guess.”
There was a pause on the other end, and then you heard a soft shuffle, like footsteps in the snow.
“Actually…” Riki’s voice sounded closer now, “I’m in front of your house right now.”
Your heart skipped a beat, and your eyes widened. You immediately jumped up and rushed to the door, throwing it open. There he was, standing in front of you, snowflakes dusting his dark hair and shoulders.
“Hi,” Riki waved, his breath visible in the cold air.
You blinked in surprise, lowering the phone from your ear as you pulled him inside. “What are you doing here?”
“I figured your family might be busy, so I rushed over,” Riki explained, smiling as he shook the snow off his coat. His hands gently found their way to your waist, pulling you closer.
“But… what about your family? Your friends?” you asked, feeling a little guilty. You didn’t want him to skip his own celebrations just for you.
Riki chuckled softly, his breath warm against your skin. “There’s always tomorrow, you know? Besides, let me prioritize you tonight, alright? And don’t worry, they know I’m here.” He smiled reassuringly, before adding, “Now, let’s enjoy Christmas Eve together, yeah?”
You couldn’t help but smile back. “Alright, that sounds perfect. But I hope you’re hungry—because I made way too much food.”
“Now you’re speaking my language,” Riki teased with a playful grin, making you laugh as you led him to the table.
The night passed quickly, filled with laughter, jokes, and spent the rest of the time by a Christmas movie marathon.
At some point, you checked the time and realized it was already past midnight—Christmas Day had arrived. You couldn’t stop smiling as you felt Riki’s arms wrap around you from behind. His chin rested on your shoulder, his voice a soft murmur in your ear.
“Merry Christmas, baby,” he whispered, his breath warm against your skin.
“Merry Christmas, Ri,” you replied, your heart swelling with affection. You turned in his arms, cupping his cheeks gently in your hands.
“Thank you,” you said, your voice soft and full of gratitude. “Thank you for making my Christmas special.”
Riki’s smile grew tender, and without another word, he leaned in, his lips brushing softly against yours. The kiss was slow, warm, and comforting, as if the chill of Christmas had been completely washed away by the warmth between you two.
“Anytime.”
With Riki by your side, Christmas finally felt like Christmas again.
