Meeting Him || L. Alvez
Summary: Fem!reader meet Luke at a charity event
cw: use of y/n, reader wears a dress, makeup, and has long hair, minor drinking, suggestive talk, age gap (5 years), barely edited.
Word count: idk, I've kinda given up on finding out. It is probably less than 1k though.
So, I went MIA again. Sorry, I have my last final tomorrow (Monday) and then I go on a trip so hopefully I will get back into the groove of writing after all this is over and I have more free time.
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
The BAU were invited to a charity event, they had solved a kidnapping of an important person's child. Your dad happened to be a major partner for said important person, so you were there since your mother was sick.
The dress you were wearing was comfortable but the stares from the older men were not. You were off to the side, watching as others moved around and socialized.
You noticed him right when he walked in, you heard what happened. Luke Alvez was the one to get to the girl before anyone else, and you knew just by looking at him, that Luke was going to be the center of all the single ladies attention.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You were still aline on the side of the event when he approached.
"Can I just stand with you and pretend to be in a conversation?" Luke had asked, you nodded and took a sip of your drink.
"Sure, tired of all the attention?" You gently questioned, you wanted to tell him how good he looked and how you would jump his bones if given the chance. But you decided that he has gotten enough attention, plus you were five years younger than him.
"Yeah, one too many older ladies asking if I'm single," he gave you a smile and you couldn't help but stare at his nice jawline. "I'm Luke, by the way," he offered his hand and you took it in yours.
"Y/n," you smiled and let go of his hand before turning your head to the side at a commotion. You missed the way Luke looked down at your pretty painted lips and the way your hair fell down your shoulders in the perfect formation. When you looked back, Luke was looking at your eyes again.
"So why are you off to the side?"
"I'm only here because my mom's sick, though she old me that she just didn't want to be here."
"Well, that's a good thing for me, then. I got to meet you," he gave you another smile and you had to smile back. The two of you got to know each other more over the last few hours of the event. Even swapping numbers and a promise to get coffee, drinks, or dinner sometime. Maybe the five years wasn't so much of a problem as you thought it was.

One Sided || L. Alvez
Summary: You always thought your crush was one sided
cw: fem!reader, one use of y/n, none(?), barely edited.
Word count: y'all, i wish i knew. I'm too tired for this
I realized I kinda just forgot to post and then I literally got hit with writers block so have this barely fleshed out story.
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
You hadn't meant to fall in love with your neighbor, he was just cute and his dog was even cuter. It didn't help that when you did finally have the courage to introduce yourself he was funny and smart and his smile made it feel impossible not to copy.
So when you offered to watch his dog when he went on cases for work, you told yourself it was just you being a nice neighbor. And when you felt the sting and low pressure of jealousy and heartbreak at his new girlfriend, you swore it was just you feeling under the weather.
"Luke, I promise, I'm just not feeling well," you would lie, halfway into your apartment. Trying to keep the burn of your feelings inside your apartment and your happy facade outside. You could tell he didn't believe you, after all he was a profiler; however, he was your friend first, so he didn't push.
But when you got a boyfriend, just one to help keep the burn of heartbreak away. It was Luke's turn to feel the odd sting and low pressure of jealousy and heartbreak. It wasn't surprising to him, or anyone on his team, that he broke up with his girlfriend only days after you announced you had a boyfriend.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
"Are you sure you like Diego?" Your friend would ask you every time you would call her about something he had done to make you upset.
"Of course I do," you would tell her, not even convincing yourself. "Why else would I be dating him?"
They would drop it, knowing that it was going no where. But when you broke up when Diego, suddenly Luke was always around. You thought nothing of it at first, he was just a constant, after all you did live next door. It wasn't until he would knock on your door asking if he could hang out with you that you started to get suspicious.
It was during one of these days, that Luke finally confessed.
"Y/n, I like you, a lot. And was wondering if you'd like to go out on a date with me," Luke blurted out and you looked at him shocked.
"I-" you started but stopped for a moment. "I would love to," you finally managed to get out. "Oh, and I like you a lot too," you added onto the end, just in case he didn't know. And suddenly, you two were laughing and it seemed everything was normal. Just with a little added intimacy to the relationship.

i imagine that luke somehow forgets to tell the bau that he's dating someone so he asks if his girl can come to a get together at rossi's and rossi says yes thinking that it is roxy that luke is bringing when in reality it is the reader, can it be a girly fem reader too?
Forgetful || L. Alvez
Summary: Luke forgot to mention he had a girlfriend, the truth comes to light at a party when they show up together.
cw: use of Y/N, predetermined last name (Ashford), reader has slight anxiety but it isn't described in detail, reader is smart and knows the statistics of dice rolls,
Word count: 854
This is so short, I'm sorry
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
It wasn’t an uncommon occurrence for a team get-together at David Rossi’s house, after all, he insisted that he lived in a mansion. Not that anyone ever disagreed with him, he did live in a mansion. It also wasn’t an uncommon occurrence for Luke to bring Roxy.
“Can I bring my girl?” Luke sent a text on his phone before looking up at David.
“Of course, she’s always invited,” David responded, thinking that Luke was talking about Roxy. Unknown to the team, Luke had been dating someone for months; however, in his defense, he had meant to tell them, but there was a case when he meant to and never got around to it.
“Great, we might be a bit late,” Luke warned the older man, leaving with a shared goodbye.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Are you sure they want me there? I know we’ve been dating for a few months, but still, you guys are like family. What if they don’t like me?” You were nervously playing with Luke’s dog tags, which he had given you to wear only 46 hours ago.
“They will love you, and of course, they want you there, they have to meet you after all,” Luke pulled you to him, pressing a kiss to your temple to calm your nerves. He knocked on the door, which you had been standing in front of for about a minute.
“Welcome, I wasn’t aware you were bringing someone,” David invited you two in, and you scrunch your eyebrows at Luke.
“I asked if I could, remember?” Luke subtly shifted his hold on you, letting you know that he was there for you no matter how this turned out.
“I thought you were talking about Roxy,” David admitted, and you relaxed a bit. “So, who is this?”
“My girlfriend,” Luke said plainly, and you caught onto what happened before he did.
“Did you ever get around to telling them about me after that case?” You turned to face him and saw the realization cross his face.
“I guess I didn’t, huh,” Luke rubbed the back of his neck, and you let out a small laugh as the three of you rounded the corner into the room everyone else was in. You were greeted with a bunch of curious faces. You recognized some of them from the photos Luke had taken and shown you, but some were unfamiliar to you.
“Who’s this?” Penelope, as you recognized, asked.
“This is Y/N Ashford, my girlfriend,” Luke introduced you, and you watched as they all smiled and welcomed you.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“How long have you two been dating?” Spencer asked you and Luke.
“About five months now,” you told him.
“Four months, two weeks, and five days,” Luke proudly stated, and you smiled over at him.
“Sorry, four months, two weeks, and five days,” you copied Luke, hearing the laughs of those around you.
“That long, and we are just now learning about you?” Emily entered the conversation, and you looked over at her.
“In Luke’s defense, he was supposed to tell you, but then y’all got a case, and he just forgot to tell you,” you smiled at Luke, awkwardly laughing next to you.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“She’s pretty,” Penelope walked up to Luke, you were off on a side table playing Street Craps against David and winning.
“Yeah, she is, isn’t she?” Luke had a lovesick look on his face.
“Where’d you meet her?” Penelope was smiling. She loved seeing Luke in love and happy, though she would never admit it.
“She lives next to me, she ran into me, literally,” Luke laughed, remembering how horrified you looked when you realized you ran into someone.
“She won!” David called in slight disbelief, and you were laughing at his over-the-top reaction.
“It’s statistics,” you justified your win, making his turn to you.
“You know dice statistics?” David questioned you, and you nodded.
“My friends and I used to play this in study hall all the time, I learned them to help win,” you shrugged, brushing off how you memorized the statistics to win a game.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Are you sure they liked me?” Your nerves slowly came back as you and Luke left David’s house.
“They loved you,” Luke assured you, his hand landing on your thigh to ground you.
“Are you sure? David isn’t upset that I beat him?”
“If he cared about people beating him in a game where there are statistics, he wouldn’t offer to play them with Spencer around,” Luke explained, smiling over at you when he stopped at a red light.
“Ok, but did I really have to take all the money? I didn’t think we were actually playing for money,” you looked down at the envelope that held the few dollars that you had won.
“Yeah, he would have found a way to get the money to you anyway,” Luke told you, and you laughed.

A Love We Learned Pt. 1 || L. Alvez
Summary: You make it to the Alvez manor and a few things come to light.
cw: use of Y/N, reader gets sick, reader is poisoned, the villainization of Lisa, barely edited.
Word count: 1290
Series masterlist | Part 2 (coming soon)
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
You weren’t told why you were being married off, but you had an idea. You knew your family had some financial trouble and that your dowry would help tremendously. You couldn’t be mad at your parents for making the arrangement, they needed the money and you loved them to the point you were ok with it. But that doesn’t mean you were ok with who you were marrying, after all his last two fiancees died before the marriage and he had a mistress.
“Bumblebee, are you ready?” Your father walked into your childhood room where you were packing the last few of your things.
“As I’ll ever be,” you sighed, letting your shoulders sag in relief as you grabbed your last item and shoved it into your bag.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Baroness Alvez,” one of the maids greeted you at the door. I am Julianna, your handmaiden. " She bowed, and you nodded at her.
“It’s nice to meet you, Julianna,” you smiled at her.
“Follow me, my lady. " She grabbed your bag from your hand and directed others to grab the rest of your bags from the carriage. You followed Julianna through the manor, it reminded you of the summer manor you used to visit with your family. “And this is your room, the baron has already cleaned out a place for your clothes,” she pointed in the direction of the wardrobe that stood in the corner by the window and a full-length mirror.
“Thank you, Julianna,” you smiled at her as she bowed.
“Is there anything else you might need?”
“If it’s not trouble, could you take a walk with me? I’d like to walk through the gardens but don’t want to be alone,” you placed your bag down and she nodded at your request.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You and Julianna talked, you had yet to see your husband since making it to the manor. You hadn’t decided if that was a good or bad thing, but you did like just talking and getting to know Julianna.
“Can I call you Julie?” You glanced over at the girl.
“Of course my lady,” she smiled over at you and you smiled at her.
“Julie, can you be honest with me about something?” You watched as she nodded. “How much do I have to worry about the baron’s mistress?”
“Not much, he never brings her here, and when she is here for business, she’ll stay away,” Julianna informed you.
“Business?” You furrowed your brows at her.
“Her father is the town’s head farmer, she follows him to the manor when he comes to talk to Baron Alvez,” Julianna told you.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You had been at the manor few a few weeks, and each week you seemed to be getting sicker. You were confined to bed, Luke had given up his place there to let you rest. If he hadn’t seemed genuinely worried for your health you would have believed he was poisoning you. Julianna walked in with three trays of food, you scrunched your eyebrows at her. She placed one of them down out of your reach and the other on the tray table you had over your lap. Her own was placed on the table next to you, not wanting to break the promise that she would eat with you while you were bedbound.
“Julie, what’s with the extra tray of food?” You glance over at it.
“I have a feeling why I know why you’re sick,” she told you and you nodded, your trust in her at an all-time high since the beginning of your getting sick.
“Want to tell me?” You questioned her.
“I caught Lady Lisa in the kitchen,” her voice was small and you tilted your head at the mention of your husband’s mistress.
“Ok?”
“I’ve seen her in there before but I always assumed that she was just being friendly; however, I saw her look around before dumping something into your food. She didn’t see me but I have a feeling that she might be the reason the baron’s past fiancees never lasted long,” Julianna told you and you nodded at her. Unbeknownst to both of you, Luke paused outside of your shared bedroom door at the words he had heard.
“Have you told Luke?” You asked.
“Are you crazy? The baron would never believe that Lady Lisa was purposefully poisoning you,” she told you and you nodded. “Can I ask a question?”
“Julie, I’ve told you this before, you can speak freely to me,” you told her.
“How are you not upset that Baron Alvez has a mistress and does not love you?” She shuffled closer to you, grabbing her cup of tea.
“I believe love is subjective,” you started. “He loves Lady Lisa, that much is obvious to anyone. While l would love to have a marriage of love, this is one of convenience. There’s a love in that, the love I have for my family is in this marriage. I married Luke for them, to keep them from the poor house. Plus, I believe love can be learned. I believe that over time Luke and I will learn to love each other, whether it is true love or a platonic one,” you told her, humming as the warm tea slipped past your lips. You two sat in silence for a moment, your words hanging in the air. Before Julianna could answer you, the door of the bedroom opened to reveal Luke.
“My lord,” Julie stood up quickly and bowed at him.
“Could you give us a minute, Julianna?” Luke asked your handmaiden and she looked over at you, knowing that you had the final say in whether she left or not. You nodded at her, letting her know she could leave. She bowed one more time and left you and Luke alone. “How are you feeling?” Luke walked over to the bed where you were ordered to stay.
“Better,” you lied, you didn’t want him to worry. You hadn’t lied when you said there was love in the marriage, it may not be romantic but it was strong enough for you to worry about his feelings. You watched as Luke scrunched his brows at you, his hand reaching up to feel your forehead. He had been informed by one of the guards that Lisa had been seen in the kitchen pouring a vile of something on your food by one of the kitchen maids.
“Are you sure?” Luke’s eyes met you and you realized how comforting they were. You lost your ability to lie to him while making eye contact.
“No,” you sighed, he looked disappointed at you and you had to look away from his eyes. “Don’t you have a meeting with the lead farmer today?” You tried to change the topic.
“I sent him home,” he told you plainly and you scrunched your eyebrows at him. “I was informed by a guard that Lisa was seen pouring a vile onto your food and came here as fast as I could, I sent them both home with the message that Lisa is to never come back,” Luke told you and you looked back at him with mild panic written on your face.
“But you love her,” you argued, she may have poisoned you but you wanted Luke to be happy.
“But you are my wife and you’re more important,” Luke told you.
“Luke,” you sighed but he shook his head at you.
“I already told her that it is over, she had done enough,” Luke told you and you relented letting him have his way.

Hiya, it's Lottie! I asked for the Loki story. Anyway, I was wondering if you would write an arranged marriage story where the reader is forced into a marriage that she doesn't want to be in. It's not a bad marriage at all, in fact, her husband (a character of your choice) respects her but there isn't any love. Her husband is having a very obvious affair with someone and she doesn't mind since he is so respectful and nice to her. They fall in love and there's a moment where he overhears her saying something like she believes people can learn to love or something. You can add whatever you want or take anyway anything. Can it be someone either from criminal minds or marvel?
Sorry again for the long request
A Love We Learned || L. Alvez
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
Hey, Lottie. So I chose Luke Alvez from Criminal Minds and decided to make this into a multipart story, I hope that's ok! I think I told you this before but you never have to apologize for long requests, I love when people have ideas on what they want.
Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, etc.
Summary: Baron Luke Alvez has been engaged twice before, both of them dying only weeks after moving into his estate. Y/N Falkner is worried about her fate once she is wed and how she will navigate her new life.
cw: use of Y/N, predetermined last name (Falkner until she is married then Alvez), inaccurate descriptions of royal times because I'm not that knowledgeable on the topic, more specific warnings in each part.
₊˚ ‿︵‿︵‿︵୨୧ · · ♡ · · ୨୧‿︵‿︵‿︵ ˚₊
Like this idea but don't want to commit to a possibly unfinished multipart story? Check out my masterlist

Hey Baby || L. Alvez & P. Garcia
Summary: Flirting with strangers is all fun and games until you realize you've been flirting with someone's girlfriend.
cw: no use of Y/N, probably too many pet names, drinking, barely edited.
Word count: idk, I'm too lazy to find out maybe I'll add it later when I have more motivation.
pairings: fem!reader x Luke Alvez, fem!reader x Penelope Garcia, Luke Alvez x Penelope Garcia
Y'all, I realize I've been inactive but college midterms just happened and I've been to tired. So, have this that's been rotting in my drafts. If I remember correctly, it was inspired by that one post somewhere about the girl that kissed a guys girlfriend and then him to make sure he wasn't jealous, only to wake up in a groupchat with the both of them asking is she got home safe.
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
You agreed to go out with your coworkers because it was your birthday and all your regular friends were too busy. You ended up in some bar that was called "safe" by your coworkers because "FBI agents" frequent it all the time. You didn't really know, you just wanted some drinks before heading home and curling up on your couch with a blanket and a movie.
"You're really pretty," you smiled at the blonde at the bar before plopping your head down onto the cool surface.
"Why thank you," she told you cheerfully. "You are too!" You looked over to see her smiling at you before you were called back to your coworkers.
"I gots to go back to my coworkers, it's my birthday and they seem to be the only ones who care!" You told her, faking a cheerful lit. "I'll see you around, pretty," you waved at her before walking back to your coworkers, missing the looks from the blonde and the man next to her.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
"I'm fine, but thanks," you waved off your coworker, Angela, who offered to get you a shot.
"Are you tapping out?" She downed the shot before asking you the question. There was no malice or judgement in her voice, just curiousity.
"Yeah, if I drink anymore I'll wake up with a raging headache and I have to go see my mom in the morning. That and I'm already too drunk, I can feel myself slowly lose the ability to not just talk," you told her.
"Want me to get you something else then? Or are you leaving?"
"A sprite would be nice or water," you watched her smile and wink at you before leaving, presumably going to get you one of the options you gave her. She came but only a few moments later with a slightly pink bubbly drink with some cherries.
"I overheard you talking with someone on the phone the other day, and I remember you saying how much you like Shirley Temples but always forget you can order them. So I got you one," she handed the drink over to you and you smiled.
"Thank you," you took a sip of the drink and she smiled so brightly at you. Out of all the coworkers you were with, she was always the nicest to you.
"Here," one of the bartenders walked over and placed a drink down on the table in front of you.
"Oh, we didn't order that," your coworker, friend, told her and she smiled.
"That guy over there ordered it for your friend here," the bartender pointed over to an attractive looking guy.
"What is it?" You questioned.
"A virgin strawberry sunrise," the bartender told you before walking off.
"Wonder why he decided on a virgin one," you quietly mused.
"Oh! I know that man, he's on the news sometimes. He's one of those agents that work on the serial killer cases," your friend announced and you whipped your head over to look at him. You saw him wince at the sharp turn of your head but recognized that man too.
"Huh," you hummed before going back to sipping on the two drinks you had in front of you.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
"Hey," the blonde from earlier walked up to you with the man who had ordered the drink you were finishing.
"Pretty!" You laughed at her bright smile as you slightly shouted and your friend picking her head up off the table. "Sorry, sorry," you pet her head a few times before she grumbled and placed it back down.
"How's your birthday going?" She sat down next to you, the guy sitting on her other side.
"Eh, my other friends didn't even text me and the rest of our coworkers left for another bar but neither of us wanted to go," you mumbled, placing the empty glass down and checking your phone that went off. "Ah," you did a little happy shimmy at the name, it was your older brother texting you a birthday message and apologizing for taking so long to text you. You absentmindedly hummed along to the song playing through the bar while you quickly typed a response and then passing your phone to the blonde with a new contact open. "Number?" You gently asked, tapping the top of your phone to emphasize your point. "You too, cutie," you made pointed eye contact with the guy before the urge to pee hit you.
You shimmed your way closer to your friend, making her move so you could slide over her lap and out of the booth. You ran over to the bathroom, unknowingly passing by one of the friends that said she was too busy to be with you on your birthday.
"Hey, look," your friend approached you and you scrunched your eyebrows at her as you finished washing your hands. "I'm sorry for lying about being busy tonight but did you that guy? I saw you earlier but I didn't want someone else to get to him first," she told you and you just nodded, too drunk to think of a response. "I'll make it up to you, I promise," she gave you a quick hug before leaving the bathroom.
You tried to will the tears away but they slid down faster than you wanted them to, you weren't a cry baby but she was supposed to be your closest friend. You gasped for air a few times before the door opened and a brunette walked in, she rushed to you when she saw you crying.
"Are you ok?" She ran her eyes over your face as you tried to get yourself back together. "My name's Emily," she offered you her name and you managed to choke out your own. "Here, lean against me, the floor's too dirty for you to sit on it," she pulled you closer to her and you started to slow down your sobs and gasps.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," you babbled, chocking on your tears some more.
"You have nothing to apologize for," Emily told you as the door opened again, the blonde from earlier walked in and rushed over to the two of you.
"Emily, what happened, why is she crying?" The blonde questioned.
"I don't know, I walked in and she was crying," Emily looked between you two.
"My," you hiccuped as you tried to speak. "My friend lied about being busy and decided hitting on a man was more important than saying happy birthday," you tried to stay strong but you hiccuped again and let the tears fall down your face. The two women glanced at each other before you were ushered into the blonde's arms.
"She was the one who left the bathroom as I was walking in, right?" Emily questioned and you nodded before she left.
"Penelope," the blonde to you.
"What?"
"My name's Penelope," she clarified and you hummed before giving her yours.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You woke up to the sound of your phone going off next to you, you groaned at the intrusion of your sleep.
"Hello?" You answered the phone without looking at it, your head was throbbing.
"Hey, cariño, did you get home alright?" The smooth voice of Luke, whose name you learned after the whole bathroom incident, asked.
"Huh, yeah," you scrunched your eyebrows trying to remember what all had happened. After the bathroom, you learned your ex-best friend was hitting on one of Luke, Penelope, and Emily's friends causing you to start downing drinks again. You overheard Penelope on the other side of the phone and got even more confused.
"Hey, baby," Penelope greeted you and you hummed.
"Uh, hi?" You groaned as you sat up.
"You don't remember, do you?" She sounded sad and you felt horrible.
"I," you cut yourself off as your bedroom door opened and you saw Angela walk in with water and a bottle of pills. This is barely remembered, she stayed the night with you since you lived closer to the bar. "Thank you," you mumbled as you grabbed both from her, she nodded before plopping down on your bed with you.
"You talking to your new girlfriend and boyfriend?" She questioned and you looked at her with wide eyes.
"What?" You questioned before turning your attention back to the phone where Penelope and Luke had been waiting patiently. "We're dating, all three?"
"Yeah, baby, we are," Penelope told you.
"Oh," you looked at the time on your clock. "Can we talk later? I have to be at my mom's in about an hour."
"Yeah, we will talk later, cariño," Luke had taken his phone back before you hung up.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
"Wow," your mother just nodded at you, impressed.
"Mom," you sighed and she laughed.
"What? You got drunk and ended up with two partners, so what?" She shrugged and you put your head down. "There's no need to be ashamed!"
"I know, but that's not what I'm worried about. I don't remember it and I feel horrible about that," you told her and she nodded.
"I bet you do, but you just need to talk to them," she offered, setting the cup of coffee down on the table in front of you.
"I know, I told them I would talk to them after I came here to visit you," you told your mother.
"Well, then, I guess I should hurry up and tell you about how I've been," your mother joked but started talking about herself anyway.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You sat in your car staring at your phone, you promised your mother you would call them back on your drive home. You bit the bullet and pressed the call button on Luke's contact, you just hoped the two were together. You anxiously waited for him to answer as you pulled out of the driveway and just when you thought you wouldn't get one, the ringing stopped and you heard Luke answer.
"Querida, hi," Luke sounded out of breath and you wondered what he had been doing.
"Hi, I didn't call at a bad time, did I?" You questioned.
"Not at all, I'm just finishing up my run with Roxy," he told you and you nodded even though he couldn't see you.
"Ah," you flipped your blinker on. "I was calling to finish the talk we were having this morning but if you're busy," you trailed off, watching as a car whipped out of a parking lot in front of you.
"No, it's fine, just let me add Penelope to the call," Luke told you and you could hear him shuffling around before you heard the phone start to ring.
"Hey," Penelope answered the phone and you let Luke tell her what was happening while you paid attention to the person in front of you driving crazy. "Oh, good. I was waiting for this," Penelope said.
The three of you started talking about what happened last night. How after they found out that you had been crying in the bathroom after your friend left you alone on your birthday to flirt with their friend, you started to drink again. How after your third drink you looked at them and said you found Penelope attractive and how you apologized profusely and reassured Luke that he was also attractive when you found out they were dating. You learned that you had told them that you would date them both if they let you, and that's how you ended up at their third.
You friend, at that point, had started to sober up a little and had reminded you that you had to see your mom in the morning. So you said bye to both of them, kissing them both as you left and told Angela that she could stay the night at your place.
"So, you two are ok with this? That I just entered your relationship?" You tightened your hold on the steering wheel as you pulled into the parking garage of your apartment complex.
"We've already talked about it," Penelope assured you. "Even before last night," she added to make sure you understood that they wanted this.
"Ok, well, I just got home. So I'll text you two when I get into my apartment and maybe we can figure out a way to get to know each other better," you offered, turning your car off.
"We'd love that," Luke told you and you smiled at his words. Excited for what was lying in store for you.

Birthday || L. Alvez, S. Reid, E. Prentiss
Summary: What I think your birthday would be like if you were dating one of them.
cw: fem!reader, non-BAU!reader, purely self indulgent, fluff, barely edited.
It's my 19th birthday (Feb. 21st) and I didn't have the best day so I am writing this purely self indulgent thing to help make myself feel better.
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
Luke Alvez:
He would be so excited for your birthday. He would probably be a little stressed on what to get you, and if it has anything to do with a moment between you two and Roxy he would totally make it seem like the gift was from Roxy. He'd take any joke about it you threw his way, especially if it has something to do with joking about how Roxy got you a gift but he didn't.
"You're right, how selfish of me to forget your gift when even Roxy remembered."
He would try to cook for you but would mess up at some point so he would either order take out or he would take you to your favorite restaurant depending on your preference.
"Sorry that I messed up dinner, querida. Do you want take out or do you want to leave?"
Your present would either be a little inside joke or something of sentimental value to you if it is the beginning of your relationship. If you two are farther along, it would be something a little more expensive and meaningful since he knows you better.
ʚ ͜ ̩͙ ︵ ̩͙ ୨ ♡ ୧ ̩͙ ︵ ̩͙ ͜ ɞ
Spencer Reid:
He would also be excited but also so nervous that you wouldn't like what he had planned. He would make sure the plans could be moved around just in case he got called in, though he hoped he wouldn't have to have your birthday ruined like that.
"I have everything planned out, but don't worry, if I get called in I have a backup plan just in case."
He would make you dinner (I think he can cook, just not a lot and not the best) and have your favorite dessert from your favorite place waiting. You'd watch him cook and he would explain what he was doing, why, and the science behind it. You would listen but following along with what he was saying is hard when he looks so good cooking for you. He would be worried he was boring you but you would assure him that, no, you are just distracted by him.
"You're distracted by my cooking?"
No matter where in the relationship stage you are, he would get you something you mentioned once or twice, maybe even in passing. You would love it and he would be so happy that he got it right, even going as far as holding his breath until you told him how much you liked it.
ʚ ͜ ̩͙ ︵ ̩͙ ୨ ♡ ୧ ̩͙ ︵ ̩͙ ͜ ɞ
Emily Prentiss:
Plans galore, she knows how unpredictable her work is and would be ready for everything. She would cook for you and you two would spend the night in, unless you wanted to go out. Then she has your favorite placed up and ready to go down the list just in case something doesn't work out.
"Don't worry, baby. You didn't ruin any of my plans, this day is about you."
Your gift would start with a joke gift then the real one would be something that you love. It would have meaning and make up for her deceit about the joke gift.
"What? Did you really think I didn't get you something real?"
She would definitely be the partner to tell the restaurant that it is your birthday so you get your free dessert and the restaurant singing to you. Overall, you two would have an amazing time together for your birthday and you end the day cuddled together while watching your favorite movie/TV show.

The Magic 8 Ball || L. Alvez
Summary: Fem!reader asks the magic 8 ball an important question.
cw: use of Y/N, none(?), fluff, barely edited.
Word count: 657
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
You and the team were at an arcade, on a day when everyone was supposed to be relaxed. You, however, were at one of the claw machines desperately trying to get the magic 8 ball you had seen.
“Come on, come on, come on,” you muttered, watching as the claw grasped the cheap toy and slowly started to lift. “No!” You hung your head in defeat as the ball fell back down with the rest of the other toys.
“Here, let me try,” Luke’s voice made you jump a little, but you smiled and stepped aside to let him try. You watched as he got it on the first try, you gasped and turned to look at him.
“There’s a lot to dislike about you, Luke Alvez,” you told him but smiled and thanked him for getting the magic 8 ball for you nonetheless.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You laughed with Emily, the two of you have been asking the magic 8-ball stupid questions for the better part of the car ride back home. You saw Luke’s amused smile through the rearview as you and Emily kept giggling at your stupid questions and the answers from the toy you two held.
“Will I live a long and healthy life?” Emily giggled from next to you and she shook the ball.
“Most likely,” you read aloud as the car came to a stop. You smiled at Emily as she collected her things and climbed out of the vehicle. See you tomorrow!” you shouted through the open door and scooted to the middle of the backseat. Luke pulled away from Emily’s building, and you gently tapped Spencer’s shoulder to get his attention.
“Yes?” He hummed at you and you poked his shoulder with more intent. He marked the page he was on and set the book down, holding his hand out for the ball. “Will Y/N let me go back to my book?” Spencer shook the ball and frowned at the results.
“Don’t count on it!” you read joyously, laughing, which caused Spencer to smile. “My turn,” you told him in a sing-song voice.
“You are having too much fun with this toy,” Spencer told you but handed it over all the same.
“Possibly, but I’ve never had one before,” you replied. “Oh! I know, will I ever have a child?” You shook the ball and waited for the answer. “Outlook good!” You laughed and did a little shimmy, missing the look from Luke as you did. You passed the ball back to Spencer, the two of you going back and forth asking questions until you reached the apartment complex.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You sat on your couch, the TV droning on in the background. You reached over to grab the magic 8 ball you had thrown to the side. You thought over your idea for a moment before deciding to ask the question.
“Does Luke like me?” You shook the 8 ball with a smile but frowned when you saw the answer. “Very doubtful, oh,” you hummed, disappointed.
“We’ve been married for two years,” Luke looked up from his position where he had his head in your lap.
“I know that,” you huffed and set the 8 ball down again. Luke sat up and pulled you to him.
“Are you going to believe this silly toy over me?” Luke held the ball up to punctuate his words.
“No, it’s just disheartening,” you told him, a smile spreading over your lips as he shook his head in amusement.
“Well, the toy was right,” Luke started and you looked offended until he kept talking. “I don’t like you, I love you,” Luke told you with a cheeky grin.
“I love you too, Mr. Alvez,” you kissed Luke.
“I love you too, Mrs. Alvez,” Luke replied as you two settled back into a comfortable silence.

Valentine’s Day || L. Alvez, S. Reid, E. Prentiss
Summary: What I think they would do for your first Valentine's Day
cw: none(?), fluff, one mention of gender (Luke calls you my girl), barely edited.
Y'all I genuinely do not like valentine’s day because my birthday is exactly a week after it (the 21st) and there is always so many valentine's things just tacked onto my birthday because of it so sorry if this is horrible and you can tell I don't like valentine's day.
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
Luke Alvez: It would obviously be romantic. He would attach a note asking you to be his Valentine, a flower (probably your favorite, if not a rose) to Roxy's collar, and send her to you. The rest of the bouquet would be waiting with him.
Be my dad's Valentine?▢ Yes ▢ Obviously ▢ Absolutely
Dinner would be at your favorite fancy place, the reservation having been placed months ago since he can't really cook. He would have bought you something to wear, whether it was a clothing item, some jewelry, or something he saw that reminded him of you. After dinner, he would give you his real gift. It would be something sentimental and funny, possibly a book of inside jokes (both innocent and sexual) that you two share.
If he got called in while you two were celebrating, he would have something planned for the two of you when he got back to make it up to you.
"What? You thought I would let my girl not be celebrated?"
ʚ ͜ ̩͙ ︵ ̩͙ ୨ ♡ ୧ ̩͙ ︵ ̩͙ ͜ ɞ
Spencer Reid: The poor baby is so nervous to ask you even though you're dating. He'd find you a bouquet of your favorite flowers and probably roses to ask you. He would wait for you to come over and have it all set up waiting for you.
"I know we're dating, but would you be my Valentine?"
He would cook you dinner, not wanting to have to make you deal with the busyness of a restaurant. He would spend as long as he needed to so he could make you your favorite meal and make it perfect. Dinner would be filled with light conversation and jokes while you ate, you complimenting his cooking the whole time too. Your present would probably be a book or something related to a hobby you have, it would be one of those things you had mentioned you wanted once and he remembered.
If he got called for a case while with you, he would profusely apologize and promise to make it up to you when he got back. It would be something sweet and intimate, just for the two of you as a way to celebrate and apologize for the interruption last time.
"I thought you'd like this since I kinda ruined it before."
ʚ ͜ ̩͙ ︵ ̩͙ ୨ ♡ ୧ ̩͙ ︵ ̩͙ ͜ ɞ
Emily Prentiss: She has everything planned, the original plan and the backup. She would have roses waiting with your favorite flowers in a vase in her apartment. She would be very cheesy when asking, pretending to get down on one knee while asking.
"Will you make me the happiest woman and be my Valentine?"
Dinner would be a smaller place, not one that is a normal Valentine's Day dinner place, but somewhere smaller you two loved. Your dinner would obviously be one of laughter and joy, you two enjoying the company of each other. She would make sure you had a good time and would use anything to make you smile while at dinner. Your gift would be something small but meaningful, something you either really needed, or wanted, or something she had seen that made her think of you. You would love it nonetheless, keeping it close to you and your heart for as long as you two are together.
The backup plan in case she got called in is just as sentimental and thoughtful as the original plan. She would try and make you dinner (though she would probably get distracted and burn it so you would end up with takeout) and you two would laugh and have a great time. She apologizes when the atmosphere is soft for having to leave last time.

Hiya! I don't know if you write for Loki, but if you do can I request something like a Howl's Moving Castle thing? I was thinking something along the lines of maybe the reader is girly and everything, but her curse doesn't make her old just ugly or something. She's just a worker in the medical wing or something and Loki is just always around her and claims it's because he likes how quiet it is but he's really just around her because he likes her and wants to find a way to tell her that he loves her without her trying to claim that he can't love her because of how she looks. And can you keep in where she cannot talk about her curse but Loki figures it out somehow anyway? Maybe like that one scene where it's shown that Sophie looks like her normal self while she's asleep or like how Sophie's curse went away slowly as she fell in love?
Sorry, this is a long request!
The Mirror's Secret || L. Laufeyson
Summary: fem!reader is cursed but Loki loves her anyway.
cw: no used of Y/N, predetermined last name (Hollings), reader doesn't like her looks in the beginning, reader is in the medical wing for undescribed injury, pet names (reader is continually called princess by the witch for no reason except to taunt her and Loki calls the reader love), barely edited.
Word count: 1899
Don't apologize for the long request, it's ok! I don't normally write for Loki but I decided to give it a try. I'm sorry if he's a little out of character! Also sorry I went astray a little on the prompt but I just got into the groove.
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
You were used to the stares as you walked past and the obvious judgment. You were used to people only seeing the curse, how unattractive you were forced to be. You just held your head high as you walked to your office, having an administrative position for the Avenger’s medical team had its perks.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“What’s the point of having a personal office if it’s always occupied?” You joked as you walked in, seeing Loki sitting on the couch you had placed there for him.
“You say that as if this couch was not added to your office for me,” he didn’t even look up from his book, and you shook your head.
“You got me there,” you sat down, turning on the computer.
“Good morning, Dr. Hollings,” the door opened to reveal Peter Parker.
“Good morning, Peter,” you greeted him with a smile.
“I’m here to get Mr. Loki for a meeting,” Peter smiled back at you, he was one of the few that never seemed to cringe away when looking at you.
“You heard the boy, go along,” you waved Loki out of your office. He slightly huffed and closed his book while getting up. “Have a good meeting, boys!” You called after them, smiling when you heard a small goodbye from Peter.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You were asleep when Loki walked in; he couldn’t see anything but your hair pooling around your face at first. However, you shifted slightly when the light from the hallway hit your face. It was just enough movement for Loki to be able to see you. He took a sharp inhale, you looked different, entirely different. He always knew there was a slight magic around you at all times, he just never realized why.
Your hair was the same color, just longer. There was a change in your face shape; everything suited you more, yet you were still you.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
It was later in the day when you awoke; the sun was shining through the curtains. You looked around and noticed Loki sitting on the couch, reading a different book than before.
“Why didn’t you wake me?” You scrunched your eyebrows at him.
“You looked peaceful and like you needed it,” Loki dismissed your concerns without looking up.
“Can I ask you a question?”
“Sure,” he put his book down to look at you.
“Why are you in here all the time? Surely the library or your room is quieter,” you looked away from him, not wanting to see your reflection in the window.
“I just wish to have company sometimes,” he told you simply, and you nodded at him. You wanted to ask if he could help with your curse if he knew a way to break it, but you couldn’t. It was the nature of the curse; you couldn’t speak about it.
“Oh,” you tried again, but your lips wouldn’t par,t and your throat wouldn’t make a sound. “Ok,” you told him, giving up on trying to speak about it.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
Loki was in his room, the multitude of books around him floating and thrown around. He was pouring over every book about curses and spells he could find. He was determined to find a way to help you; he loved you after all.
“Brother!” Thor’s voice broke through the silence that Loki had shrouded himself in as he burst through the door.
“What is it, you imbecile?” Loki seethed, not wanting to be bothered.
“Are you aware that Lady Hollings is hurt?” Thor stepped away from the door as he spoke, knowing that Loki was going to shoot up from his spot on the bed at the news.
“What?” He shouted and started making his way down to the medical wing.
“There is something else you should know,” Thor spoke again but was ignored by his brother.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You were asleep when Loki walked in, your face looking like the one he had only seen that one day.
“She looks so different,” Wanda mused aloud, she wasn’t trying to be mean. You stirred at the sound of her voice; the group failed to notice the shimmer of magic fall over you as your eyes opened. But when you finally looked at them, you were back to the cursed look.
“Hi?” You held your hand to the back of your head; it hurt, and you knew why.
“Why do you look different when you sleep?” Wanda blurted it out, and you looked over at her.
“I have no idea what you are talking about,” you shook your head, and she went to open her mouth but stopped when Loki used his magic to shove everyone out of the room.
“You’re cursed, right?” He asked, and you went to answer, but your lips and vocal cords refused to move. You couldn’t even nod your head to agree with him; you just sat there staring at him.
“Do you have a curse?” Was all you could get out as you intensely stared at him.
“You can’t talk about it, can you?” You couldn’t shake your head or answer; it was frustrating, but you had an idea.
“Can you talk about yours?” You knew he didn’t have one; it was the only way you could even get close to talking about it.
“So you can’t,” he hummed, you just sat there as you watched him think. “Is there anything you can say about it?”
“No, that’s all,” you told him, you knew that much.
“Are you aware that when you sleep it goes away?”
“I still have no idea what you’re talking about,” you honestly told him.
“It does, when you sleep it goes away. I’ve seen it happen twice now,” Loki pulled a chair closer to your bed.
“Oh,” you tried to acknowledge it, but the curse kicked in, once you knew it, it wouldn’t let you speak about it. “Can you help me out of here? I’m not that hurt,” you moved the blanket from your legs and swung them over. Loki reached out to help steady you, you grabbed onto his forearm and could feel the magic strumming in his veins. “Thanks,” you mumbled, failing to notice your eye shape changing back to normal.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You sat in your office and held your head in your hands, you had a headache. You spent all night trying to find the witch that put the spell on you; every lead had been a dead end. You didn’t notice the door opening or Loki entering the room.
“Are you ok?” Loki spoke softly.
“Huh? Oh yeah, just tired,” you mumbled, looking up at him. You looked at your phone when it lit up, your entire being lit up when you saw the message. “I gotta take this,” you grabbed your phone and left the room.
“Hollings, I have information about the witch,” the voice on the other end made you smile, you didn’t notice Loki looking at you.
“Oh?” You realized how dry you sounded, but there wasn’t anything else you could say.
“She lives in the mountains of Sokovia,” you smiled at the information.
“Thank you,” you hung up and quickly walked back into the room. You looked at Loki and thought of a way to tell him anything. “Your curse,” you started, and he nodded. “Did the person who cursed you live in-” your voice cut out, and your lips sealed together. “Did they live where the Maximoffs are from?” You questioned. Loki seemed to get the hint and stood up, making you smile.
“Let’s go,” he grabbed your arm, and the world seemed to distort around you in a shimmer of green. Your stomach turned, and your headache seemed worse, but it quickly went away as the world righted itself again.
“Woah,” you breathed out as you looked around. There was a light breeze that blew around you; the mountains were beautiful. You spotted a house, and the memory of it slammed into you. “This way,” you dragged Loki by the arm to the house, your hair blowing behind you.
“Don’t go in there,” a voice was behind you as you stepped on the porch stairs. The two of you whipped around and there stood the witch that cursed you.
“It’s you!” You called, stepping towards her. She smiled at you, but you didn’t return it.
“Oh, is the princess mad at me?” She teased you.
“How I do break the curse?” You questioned her. She didn’t answer you, she just waved her hand and the house behind you swallowed Loki whole. “Loki!” You turned to the door, trying to open it.
“Little Miss Princess wants to help her love,” the witch taunted you, making you whip towards her.
“Give him back!” You shouted.
“There’s nothing you can do,” she said in a singsong voice.
“No, there has to be something!”
“If only he wasn’t cruel and unjust,” she waved her hand again, and the house disappeared.
“You don’t know him! You don’t know me! You cursed me, you were so jealous you took my beauty, and you told me that I would be as ugly on the outside as I am on the inside! You were wrong, I’m a good person, Loki is a good person. You don’t get to decide who is good or not, you don’t get to use magic to make yourself better than everyone else!” You were shouting, the wind picked up as you did. You were also unaware of the curse slowly fading away as you yelled. “You call him cruel and unjust yet don’t realize how cruel and unjust it is to compare them to your modernized idealizations. He was born in a time where he was worshiped by man, he was taught and raised to be malicious and mean. You call him cruel and unjust yet don’t realize the irony of your own word!” You continued to shout, the wind whipped around you some more and you watched as the witch laughed at you.
“You love him, don’t you?”
“I,” you hesitated to tell her, knowing what happened the last time you admitted it to her. “I do,” you told her, you felt the wind pick up more and watched her smile drop. You didn’t notice the curse lifting or the house appearing and spitting Loki out.
“Congrats, princess, you lifted the curse. Now leave before I curse you again,” she told you.
“Give me Loki back, I’m not leaving without him,” you crossed your arms and she laughed.
“He’s right there,” she told you and you whipped around.
“Oh thank goodness,” you ran and jumped to hug him.
“Your curse is gone,” he told you and you reached up to touch your face and hair.
“It is!” You laughed. “I guess I just needed to fall in love,” you told him.
“Fall in love?” He raised his eyebrows.
“Yeah, with you,” you went to pull away after your confession but he pulled you into a kiss.
“I’m glad the feeling is mutual, love,” he told you and you smiled at him.

always thinking about luke and reader being married since before luke joins and the team doesn't know at first but then they realize and they talk about how they have been friends since kindergarten and reader jokes that she staked her claim that young
Married || L. Alvez
Summary: Luke and Fem!reader are married unbeknownst to the team.
cw: one use of Y/N, predetermined last name (Aldrich), reader is pregnant, mention of toxic ex friend, barely edited.
Word count: 715
Sorry for the short response, I just really wanted to keep this short and sweet.
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
You weren’t there when he was brought in, you had gotten hurt in the prison when the serial killers first escaped. You knew he was, he had told you the second he was offered to work with your team. You didn’t know, however, that he was offered a job until he had accepted the offer.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“And this is Agent Y/N Aldrich,” you smiled as Spencer introduced you to Luke, you two hadn’t talked about whether you wanted the team to know that you were married and that you just went by your maiden name because it was easier than having to get your ID badge changed.
“Nice to meet you, Aldrich,” Luke shook your outstretched hand.
“Nice to meet you too, Alvez,” you saw the weird look across Spencer’s face and knew that you two could only keep this up for so long.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You were right, it wasn’t even a few hours later before you two were cornered in the bullpen by questions. Emily had started them, simply asking if you and Luke had previously met.
“You could say that, I guess,” you simply answered, not looking up from your paperwork.
“I’m cashing in my one have-to-answer question,” Penelope told you, making you look up. “Explain your relationship with the newbie,” Penelope addressed you and only you, not even looking in Luke’s direction. You, however, had to look over at him, watching him nod.
“We met in kindergarten,” you started, setting your pen down as you called the attention of everyone. “We were friends until 6th grade when my friend decided that she liked him so I couldn’t be his friend and I was too stupid to realize how horrible that is. We became friends again in freshman year because we were forced to be lab partners because of our last names,” you continued. “Stayed friends through high school and college,” you skipped the fact that you had started dating your sophomore year in favor of a more fun fact. “I hid my crush on him that I had in kindergarten until sophomore year when we started dating,” you dropped the bomb and heard the collective gasps. “He proposed when he got back from Iraq and we’ve been married since about a month or so after I joined the team,” you finished the story, leaving out a lot of information.
“You’re married to him?” Penelope turned to face Luke and you nodded when she looked back at you.
“Yeah, if you’re wondering about the last name thing. It was just easier for me to keep Aldrich since I already had my ID badge and everything. My actual ID and other important documents do say Alvez,” you told her, flashing your driver’s license at her to prove your point.
“You had a crush on Luke from kindergarten until you started dating?” Spencer asked and you laughed.
“Yeah, my friend liked him but they never dated. I had made my claim in kindergarten, seriously, there’s video proof of my telling my mom that I would marry Luke Alvez,” you told him, smiling over at Luke.
“We’ve been to your house so many times, how come we’ve never met Luke before?” Emily narrowed her eyes.
“You’ve always come over when he was out chasing down a criminal,” you shrugged, explaining simply.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Welcome,” you smiled and invited Derek, Hank, and Savannah in. You and Luke decided to host the next get-together and invited all members of the team, current and old. Your shared house was filled with laughter and friends, and everyone having a great time.
“Are you ready to tell them?” Luke appeared next to you, his empty hand landing on your stomach.
“Yeah, you know Penelope will want to plan the gender reveal,” you hummed.
“I know,” he smiled and you leaned against him. You two stood off to the side a little longer, watching your found family make themselves at home. “I love you, Mrs. Alvez,” Luke pulled you in for a kiss.
“I love you more, Mr. Alvez,” you kissed him back before you two were called to join everyone else.

can you write a fic about luke and reader where reader comes to work hurt but doesnt tell anyone until she moves or something
Hurting || L. Alvez
Summary: Luke and fem!reader have obviously are in love. It takes reader getting taken out by a bird feeder for them to confess.
cw: reader falls from ladder, reader gets cut by the broken bird feeder, blood, predetermined last name (Thorne), barely edited.
Word count: 1629

You were fine; it was just a fall from the ladder while you were hanging the bird feeder this morning, it was fine. Sure, it may have been your pride that kept you from getting it checked out. But you were fine; it hurt to twist your torso so far, but you could avoid that. You were sure of it. After all, you were not admitting you got hurt because you wanted to hang a bird feeder.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Morning,” you greeted the receptionist as you walked in. You hesitated at the elevator doors. Spencer was waiting there. He had yet to notice you, but once he did, he would notice the shift in your weight.
“Oh, good morning,” he looked at you at the sound of your shoes clicking on the floor.
“Morning,” you smiled, stopping yourself from wincing as you twisted a little to face him. “What’d you do over the weekend?” You asked, keeping him from noticing your slight wince you couldn’t help.
“I read this new book,” you smiled and nodded as Spencer spoke. You tried your best to listen while you pressed your hand to your side. You didn’t even notice the pooling liquid on your undershirt since you had two more layers covering it.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Thorne,” Emily called your name with panic lacing her voice, and you turned at the torso, regretting it when you felt the pain shoot through you. “You’re bleeding,” she was rushing to you while she kept talking, but you didn’t hear her as you pulled your hand away to inspect the blood on it.
“Ow,” you weakly mumbled with a wince as you felt arms wrap around you and hands pressed into your side. You could tell it was Luke, it was obvious by how his cologne wrapped around you.
“What happened?” Luke’s voice broke through the shock you were in. You looked over your shoulder to see his face, noticing how close he was made your face heat up.
“Oh, uh,” you hesitated, your pride getting in the way of answering. You looked around at your team, and you finally broke and told them what happened. “I was hanging the bird feeder this morning, it broke when I fell. I guess I got hurt more than I thought.” You could feel the disappointment in the others for not telling you; you, however, were more focused on the way Luke pressed you to him in an attempt to put more pressure on your side.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You were home, and the visit to the hospital was underwhelming. You were told to take it easy and to change the bandages every day or more, but you didn’t need stitches. You hated it; you couldn’t be at work or see Luke for the few days you were told to stay home.
It was later in the day, and the sun would soon set. You were staring at the new bird feeder on your counter. A knock on your front door broke you out of your silent contemplation. You walked over and saw Luke standing there. He wasn’t in his work clothes; he was wearing basketball shorts and a tight-fitting T-shirt. You snapped out of your staring daze before he could notice you standing there and let him in.
“Luke, what are you doing here?” You watched as he slipped his shoes off and placed them by yours. He had noticed that you never wore shoes in your house and started copying you.
“I’m here to check on you,” he shrugged and you smiled at him.
“Oh, you didn’t have to come,” you told him, leading him to your couch to sit down.
“You act like we don’t live down the street from each other,” he joked, and you laughed a little, not noticing the pain that bloomed because of it. You were too focused on the way Luke’s smile took up his whole face and how his eyes seemed to sparkle when he laughed.
As you and Luke talked, you focused on different parts of him you loved. You loved the way he was so relaxed in your space, how he would look at you like he never wanted to look away, how he subconsciously leaned closer as you talked, and how you found yourself leaning closer to him.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
The sun was setting and Luke had just left, promising to be back after grabbing Roxy. You shuffled around and grabbed the new bird feeder. You headed out back, opting to hang it on a lower branch that didn’t require you to climb a ladder. You didn’t realize Luke was back until Roxy was running up to you and planting herself between your legs to look up at you.
“Oh, hey girl,” you reached down to pet her head, she nuzzled against it and you heard Luke laugh from behind you.
“You went back to hanging the bird feeder?” Luke asked and you nodded.
“Yeah but this one is plastic and I didn’t have to climb the ladder,” you shuffled backward to turn so you didn’t have to step over Roxy. You watched as he gently shook his head with a smile and walked back to your house, Roxy in toe. “Oh, have you eaten dinner? I know you’ve been with me for the last few hours but I don’t know if you ate before that,” you stopped by your couch to sit down, letting Roxy curl up next to you. Luke sat down on the other side of her.
“No, I haven’t,” he told you with a small shake of his head.
“Oh, cool. I was going to order Chinese takeout for dinner, wanna join me?” You looked up from Roxy to look Luke in the eyes.
“Sure,” Luke shrugged and you smiled.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You and Luke sat next to each other, a movie playing in the background as you ate. You hummed along to the song while absentmindedly rocking side to side with the beat. Luke looked over at you with a small smile on his face, one that you had never noticed before. He watched how you ate, hummed, and slightly danced; he loved it, and it hit him that he loved you.
“Are you staring at me?” Luke had just acknowledged that you had looked over at him, you had a soft smile gracing your face.
“I am,” he told you, his smile matching yours.
“Luke, can I tell you something?” Your voice held a lit to it that Luke wasn’t used to.
“Of course,” he shuffled closer to you, Roxy getting up and moving to the ground to give him more space to move over.
“I like you, a lot. And I understand if you don’t like me but I had to tell you,” you sighed, feeling the weight of the confession finally off your shoulders.
It took Luke a moment to respond, but it made you smile in relief when he did. “I like you a lot too,” Luke admitted, keeping the fact that he may love you a secret for now.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Penny, you will never guess what happened,” you pushed the door open to her lair as you spoke, your excitement bubbling over when you saw Derek. “Derek, what are you doing here?” You hugged the older man, a smile gracing both of your faces.
“I’m here to visit, Hank and Savannah are with the others in the bullpen. I heard from Penelope here that you got taken out by a birdfeeder,” he told you and you laughed before looking away slightly embarrassed while pressing your hand to your bandages.
“Yeah, I did,” you admitted, but smiled when you remembered why you were there in the first place. “Oh! My news,” your smile got wider. “Luke and I are dating,” you confessed and smiled as Penelope celebrated.
“Spencer owes me 20 dollars!” She cheered and you scrunched your eyebrows at her. “Spencer and I had a bet on when you two would get together,” she admitted and you laughed at her.
“You bet on me?” You looked at her, and she nodded. Then, as the door opened behind you, you jumped, slightly hitting your leg.
“Sorry, who did I hit?” Luke’s voice came from the other side of the door.
“Me,” you peeked around the door and he smiled at you before raising an eyebrow.
“Aren’t you supposed to be home?”
“Yeah, but I wanted to tell Penny, so I’m here. " You smiled at him, and he laughed.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“It took you getting taken out by a bird feeder for me to lose,” Spencer shook his head.
“Yeah, sorry. But to be fair, if you hadn’t reminded me, I would have waited a few more days and then you would have won,” you told him, smiling as you sat down.
“It’s time for you to go home,” Luke gently wrapped his arm around you and you pouted.
“But, I don’t want to be there alone,” you told him.
“Then stop by my house and get Roxy and keep her for the day,” Luke offered, handing you the key to his house from his keychain.
“Ok, bye, I love you,” you absentmindedly told him, kissing his cheek.
“Bye, I love you too,” Luke kissed you before you left, both of you missing the looks from your team.

Always in the idea of Emily X Reader. I don't know but I want to see Emily jealous and possessive 👀
-Agnes
You're Mine || E. Prentiss
Summary: Fem!reader realizes how jealous Emily can get after an incident at a bar.
cw: no use of Y/N, creepy man at the bar, reader crying slightly, Emily shoving creepy man into bar, Emily calls reader mine once in jealousy, pet names, barely edited.
Word count: 528
This is a short one but I was running out of ways to make this longer.
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
It wasn’t all bad dating an FBI agent, she had long odd hours and you were worried all the time when she was gone, but it wasn’t all bad. Like tonight, you were out with Emily and her team after they got back from a case, the bar was relatively empty. It was just you, Emily, her team, and a few regulars there, easing Emily after the case. One that had Emily on edge since the victims looked a lot like you.
“What’s a pretty lady like you doing all alone at a bar like this?” A man pressed his front against your back and you slammed your hand down on the counter, calling the attention of your girlfriend. You swallowed hard, trying not to cry at the feeling of him against you.
“I’m not alone,” you told him, trying to press yourself against the counter even more. Before he had a chance to answer you, he was pulled off and roughly shoved against the counter next to you. You looked over and roughly wiped your eyes when you saw Emily holding the creep down against the bar. You took a glance around the bar, the regulars were watching but didn’t look too concerned about what was happening.
“Leave her alone, you hear me?” Emily threatened the man and he furiously nodded before he was released. He ran off with one last look at you and you looked back at Emily.
“Can we leave?” You were desperately holding back tears and she nodded, gently grabbing your hand and leading you out.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Emily?” You questioned, she had been quiet since the bar. She said nothing as she pulled into the parking spot outside your shared apartment. The walk up to the apartment was just as silent and you started to get a little worried. “Emily?” You asked as you watched her put in the security code after closing the door.
“You’re mine, you know that?” She questioned, it shocked you into silence that made her spin towards you. “I asked a question,” she stared at you and you nodded.
“Yeah, I know, you know that I know that,” you told her, scrunching your eyebrows. “You’re not mad at me, are you?” You watched her face soften at your question.
“No, no, sweetheart, I’m not mad at you,” her voice lost the sharp edge and you realized she was just jealous.
“Are you jealous?” Your voice was still quiet, your words both teasing and a genuine question.
“Possibly a little, but how could I not be when you’re just so beautiful?” Emily stepped to you and pulled you to her, hugging you and cradling your head with her hand. She kissed your head before pulling away.
“Can we watch a movie? And possibly eat the ice cream we have?” You asked, just wanting to forget about what had happened at the bar.
“Anything for you, come on,” she pulled you softly by the arm to the bedroom. “Get in pajamas and I’ll get the ice cream,” she kissed you before leaving to do what she said, leaving you breathless.

I need some protective Luke Alvez over pregnant reader!! Maybe she works at the BAU and she just stays in the precincts, and some douchey officer says something and like is just protective!
What Did You Say? || L. Alvez
Summary: Luke and fem!reader are married and excepting a child. Some asshole officer tries and fails to profile the couple in a shitty attempt to win readers attention and join the BAU.
cw: no use of Y/N, swearing, asshole cop, barely edited.
Word count: 838
Sorry for the short story but I'll probably write more about Luke and pregnant!reader later on.
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
“Oh my goodness, congratulations!” Penelope practically screeched as you told the team you and Luke were expecting.
“How far along are you?” Spencer asked.
“About 3 months,” you answered, pulling the sweater you were wearing tight to your body to show your slight bump. There were more cheers at the sight and you smiled over at Luke, letting JJ and Penelope both run their hands over your barely there bump.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
A new case came in, one that was only an hour’s drive away so you were allowed to go. On the condition that you didn’t leave the precinct on the account that you were 8 months pregnant.
“Are you sure you want to go?” Luke asked, putting his arm around you in the backseat of the SUV that Tara was driving.
“Yeah, I love Penelope but there is only so much I can do there,” you told him, leaning against his shoulder. “Plus, now I can spend the time you’re not out on the field with you,” you added a grin on your face.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“You know, it’s a shame you’re knocked up,” a random officer stopped you outside the bathroom. You elected to ignore his words and just walked around him, heading back to your team. “Hey, you don’t have to be such a bitch!” He called after you, making the mistake of being loud enough for everyone to hear.
“What did you just say?” Luke stood up, walking over to stand protectively next to you.
“I was just trying to pay her a compliment and she ignored me,” he crossed his arms.
“No, he said it was a shame I’m ‘knocked up’ and then got mad when I ignored him,” you put air quotes around the words knocked up. As you spoke, you saw the telltale look of anger cross Luke’s face.
“It is a shame! A pretty thing like her being trapped with a baby by a man like you,” the officer smirked as if he had just won the argument lottery.
“A man like me? What’s that supposed to mean?” Luke sized him up and you placed a hand on his arm.
“You haven’t even proposed, what you’re scared she’s only with you because she’s too weak to leave now?”
“Luke, he’s baiting you, it’s ok,” you told him, making him look at you.
“What do you listen to everything she says?” The officer laughed again.
“That’s enough!” Chief Thorne called to his officer. “Walk away Hunter,” he called and the officer shook his head.
“No offense, chief, but I can’t do that. I’m good at my job because I don’t back down,” Hunter stared you and Luke down.
“You think you’ve got us all figured out, yet you’re missing something,” you spoke up. “Luke and I are married, I can’t wear my ring right now because my fingers are swollen. If this was your way of trying to break Luke and me up and try to make it to the BAU, then you’re doing a horrible job.” You watched as he took a few steps forward but was stopped before he was even within your reach by a punch to the face. “Luke!” You gasped and grabbed his hand, inspecting it to make sure nothing was broken.
“I’m ok, are you?” Luke tried to pull his hand away but you didn’t let him. You pulled his hand closer to you and kissed his knuckles, you heard Luke laugh gently.
“I’m fine, Luke,” you told him, placing the hand you had in your hands on your stomach. “See feel, I’m fine, the baby is fine, we are fine,” you reassured him.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Good news, my lovelies,” Penelope announced as she walked into the room. “That douche of a cop has been fired,” Penelope held her phone up and you smiled.
“Better news,” you called her attention to you, her smile becoming huge. “Meet your goddaughter, Juliet,” you held her up a little.
“She’s pretty, just like her mom,” Penelope walked to you.
“Wanna hold her?” You asked Penelope and she nodded, gently taking Juliet and holding her.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You and Luke were home, Juliet was asleep in her crib and the two of you were on the couch together. You leaned against Luke, your head falling on his shoulder.
“We should have another one,” Luke told you and you turned your head to look him in the eyes.
“Luke Alvez,” was all you said before he started to explain.
“Not until you’re ready but we should have another one eventually,” Luke clarified and you smiled.
“When I’m ready, yeah, we talked about 2, but seeing Juliet maybe 3,” you told him.
“Yeah, maybe 3,” Luke kissed you, the two of you ready for some of the busiest new few years with your child.

First ask and first Emily fic here on Tumblr, hope you like it!
₊˚⊹♡————— ♡ —————♡⊹˚₊
It wasn’t every day you got a call from your older brother. Sure, sure you two talked, but it was once a month at most. So when your phone rang, the last thing you would have guessed it was, was David Rossi asking you to consult on a case.
“As I live and breathe,” you answered the phone, “David Rossi calling his dear younger sister two days in a row,” you teased and excused yourself from your conversation with one of your coworkers.
“I’d love to say it’s because I missed you but I need your help,” David admitted and you gently shook your head.
“What can I help you with?” You asked, sitting down at your desk.
“We have a case, it reminds me of an old case of yours,” David admitted and you blew air out of your nose.
“I’ll be there in an hour,” you told him, standing up and collecting your things.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You were in the elevator on the way up to David’s floor, you had reviewed the case information David had sent over in the car ride. The doors slid open and you saw David waiting on the other side of them, Aaron Hotchner standing with him.
“Dave,” you smiled, opting to gently push his shoulder instead of hugging him. You turned to look at Aaron. “Nice to meet you, Aaron. Dave talks about you,” you shook his hand before following the two into the bullpen and to the round table. Your eyes traveled the team before you, lingering on a brunette longer than they should have.
“This is my sister, Y/N Moretti,” David introduced you to the team, they went around in introductions before jumping into the case.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Prentiss, I’ve heard about you,” you looked over the brunette, you two being stuck with stake-out duty. “Faking your death is a pretty ballsy move,” you told her, watching her take a drink of her coffee.
“Is that all Rossi told you?” Emily looked over at you.
“You think Dave calls me enough for me to ask about anything but if he’s ok?” You joked, tilting your head back with your soft laugh, missing the tender look Emily gave you. “I get all my information about you through the grapevine of people, it makes it back to us. Especially since Interpol,” you told her, looking back at the house.
“What do you know about me, Moretti?” The teasing lit in her voice making you smile.
“Well, Prentiss, not much. What can you tell me?” You teased back, making her smile. And that’s how you two spent the remainder of the time, talking about yourselves and watching the house.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“There was no movement in or out of the house,” Emily told everyone and you sat down, looking over the files again. Your team joined you once you had confirmed that you would be working on it and they had brought over the old files with them.
“If this is the same guy, there’s no way he would wait this long for another victim,” you mused, focusing on the case files in front of you.
“Why’s that?” Derek asked you and you looked up at him.
“He might be calculated, but he is compulsive. He was caught the first time because he couldn’t help but attack Sarah Winters when he saw her. He knew she was a cop and that her partner was a shout away, but she was his type. If this is him, there has to be another reason for him not striking again,” you told them.
“We find the reason we find him,” David said and you agreed. “What do you know about Jovan Orlov?” David and the team all sat as you started talking.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Tell me, Prentiss, you got a boyfriend?” You paused a moment. “A girlfriend?” You heard her laugh, not bothering to turn to her.
“Why do you wanna know, Moretti?” She was looking at you but you were more focused on the papers in your hands.
“Just curious, darling,” you responded.
“No, I don’t,” she told you and you nodded. “Do you?”
“Not anymore,” you said in a sing-song-like manner.
“What happened?” You could feel her stare boring into the side of your head.
“Guys tend to think that just because I also like women, I’m automatically open to a threesome with some other women they are attracted to,” you shrugged.
“Are you?” It was a joke and you could hear it.
“Are you offering?” You finally looked at her but cringed back when you saw David standing behind her.
“Are you two working or flirting?” He had a smile on his face and you narrowed her eyes at him.
“Working and flirting,” you told him and he shook his head.
“I knew bringing you here would have odd consequences, just didn’t think you flirting with Prentiss would be one of them.”
“You brought me here and then made me do a stake-out with the one person here who would be my type, try again, David,” you watched him laugh.
“Just more working and less flirting,” he pointed at you.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You and Emily ran after Jovan down an alleyway, you were slightly behind her as you started to run a little after she did. You rounded the corner right after her to see her standing over the unsub with her gun pointed down at him.
“Jovan Orlov, you’re under arrest for the murder of several women,” you walked over to pull him up and put the handcuffs on him. Your brother and the rest of his team rounded the corner and you handed Orlov off. You turned back to Emily as she walked up to you. “Good job, darling,” you told her, watching her smile and slightly turn away. “Oh, you liked that, huh?” You teased her.
“You wish,” she said back.
“You’re right, I do wish,” you responded, walking off as your team made it to the crime scene. Emily watched as you talked with your team, how you stood with your shoulders back and hands on your hips. You stood with confidence and it was obvious you were the person your team looked to for guidance. You glanced over your shoulder, smiling at Emily as you made eye contact before looking back at your team.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“So, how’d you like it?” David questioned and you looked at him.
“What?” You asked, confused.
“Did you like working here?” He clarified.
“Yeah, why?”
“Just asking,” he told you but you shook your head.
“Sure you are because this has nothing to do with the fact you’ve asked me to join the BAU since the beginning,” you raised an eyebrow.
“Well, at least now I have a better argument instead of just me working here.”
“And what’s that?”
“Emily Prentiss,” he said her name and you looked him in the eyes with an eyebrow raised.
“Hm, she is a compelling argument,” you smiled.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You sat at the slightly sticky table of the bar watching Emily dance and have fun. You and your team joined the BAU for celebratory drinks after the case, mostly at the insistence of David. You had been slowly nursing the same drink the whole time, watching as everyone else slammed drink after drink. You made eye contact with Emily as she stopped at the bar to get another drink, you smiled at her before you looked away and down at your drink. You downed the last little bit of it before looking up to the roof.
“Here,” Emily placed a cup of water in front of you, making look at her.
“Thanks,” you took a sip of it. “You’re surprisingly coherent for someone who has been drinking all night,” you mused, watching her take a drink from her cup.
“I have a high tolerance,” she shrugged and you looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
“Had me fooled, you looked quite intoxicated,” you told her, watching her as she scooted closer and eventually put her hand on your thigh. “Darling, as much as I would love to see where this is going, try again when you’re sober,” you grabbed her hand and led it in yours.
“I am sober, babe,” she tried again but the hold on her hand stopped her from placing it on your thigh.
“You may not be drunk, but you have been drinking and that’s enough of a reason for me to think you aren’t thinking straight,” you placed your interlaced hands on the table as she just looked at you. “Do you want me to take you home?” You watched her nod. “Ok, wait here, I’ll go pay for both of our tabs then come back, ok, Tesoro?”
“Ok,” she downed the rest of her drink and on your way to the bar, you stopped by your brother.
“Hey, I’m taking Emily home per her request,” you told him.
“Ok,” he nodded and you smiled at him before continuing to the bar.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“You have a nice house,” Emily was standing in your walkway, she insisted you take her to your place and you agreed.
“Thanks, Tesoro, right through here,” you guided her to the kitchen, dimming the lights as you walked in. You grabbed one of the glasses from your cabinet and filled it with water, you handed it over to her. You could tell she was sobering up by the way she wasn’t slightly swaying. “When you asked to come over, did you plan on staying here or did you just not want to go home at that moment?”
“Can I stay?” She sounded hopeful and you nodded.
“I’ll let you wear some of my clothes to bed then,” you took the glass back and placed it in the dishwasher, you could feel her eyes on you. “Are you staring at me, Prentiss?” When you didn’t get an answer, you turned to her and found her leaning against the counter looking ready to pass out. You wordlessly grabbed her hand and led her to your bedroom, sitting her on the bed to grab some extra pajamas you had. “Here, the bathroom’s right there,” you directed her to the right door with a point, watching as she walked there.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
You could hear Emily get up from the kitchen, the soft padder of her feet making you look up. You smiled at her as you continued to make breakfast, she sat down at the island of your kitchen with a groan.
“Does your house have to be so bright?” She groaned in pain, shielding her eyes from the sun and the lights you had on.
“Sorry, darling, here,” you reached over to dim the lights with a small laugh before returning to making dinner.
“You have dimmers on all your lights?”
“Yeah, the house came with it,” you told her, placing a plate in front of her. “You watched her take it and the medicine you handed her moments later. “I called Dave, and he said that it was ok for you to be late,” you sat down on the chair next to her.
“What about you?” She looked over at you midbite.
“Oh, I don’t have to be in until 1 pm unless we are actively working on something,” you explained and she nodded.
“I’m jealous,” she went back to eating and you followed her.
₊˚‧ ︵‿ ꒰ ⏝ ୨ ♡ ୧ ⏝ ꒱ ‿︵ ‧˚₊
“Babe,” Emily called from your bedroom as she got ready, you told her you’d take her to work since she didn’t have her car at your house.
“Yeah, what’s up?” You stopped at the door, not wanting to open it just in case.
“Can you help me?” She asked and you opened the door to find her struggling with the buttons of the shirt.
“Oh, shit, yeah. Sorry I forgot to tell you that the buttons are slightly too big for the holes on that shirt, it always shrinks in the wash,” you walked over and pushed her hands out of the way. You did the buttons for her, ignoring how her gentle breaths blew across your face.
“How expensive is the outfit I’m wearing right now?”
“Not very, unlike my brother I did not write books and become rich, sure I have some money but I also don’t spend it on things like dress shirts,” you told her, removing your hands from the shirt you looked her in the eyes. You watched her eyes dart down to your lips and then back to your eyes.
“Am I sober enough now?” Emily asked and you sighed, looking over at the wall clock.
“After all my hard work, you’re going to have me unbutton this shirt again?” You joked, leaning closer to her. You brushed your lips against Emily’s before the two of you practically smooshed yourselves against each other.
“I don’t think we’re going to make it in today,” Emily told you and you laughed.
“Yeah, neither do I,” you reached up to her shirt, and ripped it open. Emily gasped at the action and you smiled extra wide. “I didn’t like the shirt that much anyway,” you shrugged, pulling her closer to you.
