I dont know you guys but for anyone out of the loop: latest fnaf game is a prequel that takes place in the 1970s and so this is the OG moon design. Our Moon is the result of fazent twinkifying this thing... (cant tag either of you guys for some reason)

I'll be honest, the Roxy thing is just something I've heard around (that the subtitles refer to Puppet Roxy specifically with he/him even if the art of her as a cowgirl is probably female) but here's the screenshot showing an older version of Sun being referred to as a 'woman'!

And its made clear throughout the game Sun is meant to be a metaphor for Fiona Murray while Moon is based on her husband Edwin (they're not literally possessed, just inspired by them) so Sun x Moon is also arguably canon. Love wins
