Okay so we're here :

Lily & Septima are together but it's not going so well (what a loss for the lesbians, they're so adorable)

Barty & Marlene are together (wtf no?? comphet Marls mistake ig)

Loretta & Tilden are together (they're very cute even if I don't rlly see this ship but ig Mii them see it for me)

Florence & Mary are powerful lesbians (common lesbian win)

James is with Hestia (once again don't see it but Mii them decided so, so let's go)

Xeno asked Marshall out but got rejected (what a shame they would have been cute together I think)

It's almost 5am and I'm brainstorming ideas for a fic, which basically means I'm info dumping in a big document about everything I know about flowers, crystals and Pagan Sabbats and hoping that the fic magically writes itself from there

ok this is a genuine question: what’s the difference between a QPR and two people who are… friends? is there a specific energy or connotation or context to QPR that makes it distinct? i hadn’t heard of it til recently on this interwebsite and haven’t gotten enough context to fully understand what it indicates! thank u 💝

so i do believe that queer friendships are fundamentally different from nonqueer friendships because of the inherent prescence if queerness. there’s just an energy there that you don’t feel with someone who doesn’t understand what the queer experience is like. it just adds a spice that i don’t have the words to explain.

QPR is mostly described as being a committed relationship that isn't inherently platonic nor romantic

The nature of the QPR is defined by the partners so there's no universal code of what a QPR should be like, it can draw elements from platonic relationship and romantic relationship all the same

But yea it's not a friendship, it's something different

Most of the time people in a QPR are aromantic people who still want a committed relationship despite not feeling romantic attraction (most of the time!! but not all people in QPR are aromantic)

I'm not sure I making much sense, it's really hard to describe feelings especially with something as complex as QPR but let me know if it helped a little

(also I totally agrees with what you're saying on friendships between queer people and shared experience, it's just not what this term is used for <333)
