A slow paced point-and-click horror adventure worth a FREE quick run through and possibly a buy. The Last Door is another Kickstarter success achieving 4,690 pounds from a 3,852 pound goal, which ended in December of last year. Below is the official description:
The Last Door starts in the late 19th century in the south of England. Good times for science, psychology and art. The main character receives a letter from his old friend Anthony asking for help. A strange request since it has been long time since they were colleagues at the University. But when he arrives to his house in the Sussex county he finds that something horrible might be happening.
Currently the first chapter is available for free to play in your browser. The chapters after you have to buy and you might want to. The Last Door starts off a bit slow, but the sound effects and original musical score suck you into a world darkness that picks up a the pace a bit. The story gets more intriguing as you find hidden keys, dark borded up rooms and more. If anything, go play the first chapter. As of right now, I'm onto the next.

Ultimate General: Gettysburg - an RTS for the PC and Tablets coming soon. Check out the description below for details about the game. I have sent out a formal request for a demo or video to check out so I will update you soon.
We commemorate the 150th anniversary of America's Civil War most defining moment: the Battle of Gettysburg. About 51,000 soldiers were casualties in this three-day battle which was fought 1-3 July 1863 around the small city of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The full order of battle for Union and Confederate - all the brigades and their important officers - will be available for you to command. A historically accurate map will include the most significant locations around Gettysburg. Brief historical data for units, people and places will help you understand the events and the tactics of this glorious battle.

First in line is probably not where you want to be with Life Goes On. Take that saying your father gave you when you ran the bases the wrong way during a baseball tryout, "last is first," to heart. This creepy funny puzzle platformer will keep you replaying the demo over and over again.
Official Description:
Life Goes On is a comically morbid puzzle platformer game, where you send a series of dauntless medieval knights through a trap-ridden gauntlet, sacrificing them one by one to make progress. Impale a knight on a spike to provide the safe platform needed to cross a pit. Catch another knight on a saw blade so their body falls on a button to solve a puzzle.
At first, killing of a knight was a bit harsh, but after a brief run through the demo, I was finding new ways to kill off knights in order to get to my destination whether it be dropping them into spikes or burning alive. Pretty bad ways to die I know, but still a lot of fun. You can check out the demo here for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.

Day Mare Cat - Walkthrough
There's no official trailer so this is the best I could do. I will track down an official one if the developer releases one.

Daymare Cat is a beautifully hand-drawn puzzle-platformer. You play as a small girl that tries to recover four records each of which have individual songs. The songs are a joy to listen to and add a great aesthetic to the overall background noise, which tends to be eerie and slightly depressing. There's no map in this small puzzler, but exploring this small game has its benefits since you will discover beautiful and simple hand-drawn background through out this world.
Day Mare Cat is part of a bigger series called Dar Mare Town. The slogan of the town is, " Can you escape the Nightmare of a day?" I've only played Day Mare Cat, but after doing so I want to play through the rest of this so-called nightmare of a town. You can enjoy Day Mare Cat here and the rest of the town here.

Lens is a 3D first-person game set within two worlds. You can interact with each individual world to solve puzzles and overcome obstacles using a device called the Lens. Through the Lens you can interact and manipulate objects between those two wolds. The developers gained inspiration from a recent trend of superimposing older images over their current day setting. The trailer and screenshots look great and the alpha build plays nicely with a couple bugs here and there. You can download the games straight from the developers website here.

Futuridum is a fast paced classic shoot’em up with a modern twist. There are no special powers in this game just your lasers, reflexes and the power to stop and turn your ship 180 at any time. Your objective is to destroy energy cubes to reveal a main golden cube. It's that simple or so you think. There’s no speed control, just you and a beautiful flat shaded world. You will be using a keyboard or gamepad, but it’s best to play with a gamepad. My initial run through was fast paced and a lot of fun, definitely worth a download. The game is available for free for the PC and Mac, yea I said it…free on the Futuridum website.

Morphopolis is a game about discovery, change and the unknown. Inspired by games like Machinarium and The Tiny Bang Story, Morphopolis takes you through an amazing insect world all within a hidden object adventure. You take the role of an aphid grub, embarking on a journey to rescue your companion. It's a simple story set behind a beautiful looking world. The game has been in development since July 2012 and looks gorgeous from the screenshots and developer diary, which you can check out on GameSpot. Morphopolis is set for a summer 2013 for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS and Blackberry. There’s no demo, but I'll let you know when you can get your hands on it.
