You were an eidolon of Plathis—a true Bon Vivant of business and magic. You were heralded as the second-most influential karcist in the cosmopolitan city of Madras. The Weave had given you everything you needed to succeed in this world, including a pattern of great magical prowess belonging to an elder titan, Mors.

Anybody, everybody, and even nobodies adored you.

And then, the Weave severed itself from you a day after the New Year. The power of your pattern had been so great it began to consume itself. It began to destroy you. With your diagnosis revealed, your cennend sent you to an arcane rehabilitation center. Your friends were silent, and your siblings distant.

For six months, Madras moved on without you. New secrets and alliances have formed. But you were an eidolon. So how do you intend to take back your city, Skipper?

Customize your Skipper. Customization will include Pronouns, Appearance, Persona, and Demeanor.

Skipper's Appearance options will be limited due to narrative reasons.

Skipper's Persona reflects your dominant personality traits. There will be 3 options (blue, purple, and red) that passively reflect trends in your gameplay and change how Skipper behaves throughout the narrative.

Skipper's Demeanor reflects the combination of your Persona and dialogue/gameplay choices. Your choices will be informed by several stats, Versus-style (i.e., Stoic vs. Expressive).

Build or damage your Skipper's Reputation (i.e., Influence vs. Irrelevance), which will change how Madras and its denizens respond to your narrative choices, both socially and magically.

Juggle your Skipper's overarching narrative through the Concurrent Storyline System, which will open new opportunities for success or failure.

Reconnect with your siblings and fight against your cennend's cruel intentions together, or belittle and berate them while maintaining your cennend's violent Legacy.

Interact with an exciting cast of karcists and creatures. Befriend or romance a select few highly sought-after individuals. But remember, you won't be the only one who benefits from these bonds.

Timor Kilic Fram the Fourth (They/Them) -> Your cennend. Ruthless and luxurious, Timor has only ever wanted to ensure the success of the Fram Legacy.

Margan Shyamal (They/Them) -> Your eldest sibling. As a Magistrate of Madras, they are often bogged down by many responsibilities. But Margan will always make time for you.

Bellus & Boreal Csintalan (She/Her & He/Him) -> Your younger siblings. They're twins with very different passions, strengths, and weaknesses. With you being Timor's favorite, they can make as many mistakes as they want without fear.

Kieran Zayin (They/She/He) -> Your very real yet fake betrothed. Kieran's reputation is infamy, even with their modest success as an author. You met her at University when the tabloids labeled her a flirtatious scoundrel. Kieran proposed to you because he considers you his best friend, and even if you disagree, he's your oldest non-familial friend. Hopefully, you can still make it to the altar by the end of this year.

Gilder Vernall (She/They) -> Your first and most successful investment. Owns a business called Gilder's Plithers, a name she's incredibly proud of. Gilder's a closed-off workaholic, so few have gotten close to her. Yet ever since you've decided to give their business a chance, they've also been adamant about your own personal growth. Try not to let her down again, yeah?

Ilian Ikan (He/They) -> Your bodyguard. Massive and defiant, Ilian is an absolute bastard of a Ghoul. There's very little you know about them other than that Margan trusts Ilian to watch over you. But the real question is: can Ilian trust you?

Okay is searched rated m and one told it any person older than 15 can interact and one told any person older than 17 can interact which one is it?

Hi there! so i looked up the ratings of what you meant and it does look like based off location M can be for 15 *or* 17

However for master of one, I recommend it as more of 17+ as it it will have graphic violence, language and sexual content (there is also a TW page at the beginning of the game as well that will be updated with any other possible triggers that show up throughout)

Tips for Writing a Difficult Scene

Every writer inevitably gets to that scene that just doesn't want to work. It doesn't flow, no matter how hard you try. Well, here are some things to try to get out of that rut:

1. Change the weather

I know this doesn't sound like it'll make much of a difference, but trust me when I say it does.

Every single time I've tried this, it worked and the scene flowed magically.

2. Change the POV

If your book has multiple POV characters, it might be a good idea to switch the scene to another character's perspective.

9/10 times, this will make the scene flow better.

3. Start the scene earlier/later

Oftentimes, a scene just doesn't work because you're not starting in the right place.

Perhaps you're starting too late and giving too little context. Perhaps some description or character introspection is needed before you dive in.

Alternatively, you may be taking too long to get to the actual point of the scene. Would it help to dive straight into the action without much ado?

4. Write only the dialogue

If your scene involves dialogue, it can help immensely to write only the spoken words the first time round.

It's even better if you highlight different characters' speech in different colors.

Then, later on, you can go back and fill in the dialogue tags, description etc.

5. Fuck it and use a placeholder

If nothing works, it's time to move on.

Rather than perpetually getting stuck on that one scene, use a placeholder. Something like: [they escape somehow] or [big emotional talk].

And then continue with the draft.

This'll help you keep momentum and, maybe, make the scene easier to write later on once you have a better grasp on the plot and characters.

Trust me, I do this all the time.

It can take some practice to get past your Type A brain screaming at you, but it's worth it.

So, those are some things to try when a scene is being difficult. I hope that these tips help :)

Some thoughts on acceleration and force

I presented this in the order of how I slowly understood the trick of delivering force - first an abstract concept of impact taught by Ah Fai, then a more complicated discovery on the acceleration pattern, last back to a more abstract concept of breakdowns. 

Like I’ve previously stressed, 2D animation is everything but one single approach. There’s no one rule that rules them all, but interchangeable ideas with math, or physics, or music, etc. There’s no “perfect” animation either, but what is perceived as organic and dynamic. E.g., using the Fibonacci numbers to animate didn’t bring me a perfect animation! On the other hand, a tiny change in the pattern could already make the feeling of force so much more powerful. 

Not so much of a tutorial than a personal experience. I hope you find this interesting hahaha

It will only have a front & back view, all specifics like pose/clothes/etc. will be discussed during the initial stage. (The finishing style will be a semi-sketch, so it won’t look extremely finished.)

B - Colour Portrait Tarot Illustration - A full colour portrait of your OC/any Character in Tarot style with plain solid borders/vector designs like the example above.

C - B&W Portrait Sketch  - A sketch of any character you like in black and white!
