The stress time is over! Or it might be. This is my next “mini altar” I made by things I found at home - feathers of pheasant, lumps of clay from my grandfather´s forest, some cinnamon and cloves, mini jingle bells and beads and the most important thing - beewax candle which I´ve saved for this occasion.
There is no aspect of watter element at this altar so maybe that´s why I don´t feel calm after all...
Well, I´ll try it better next time.

Take a shower, wash off the day. Drink a glass of water. Make the room dark. Lie down and close your eyes. Notice the silence. Notice your heart. Still beating. Still fighting. You made it, after all. You made it, another day. And you can make it one more. You’re doing just fine.

Imbolc. I didn´t celebrate it as good as I should. My mind is so unfocused and unstable theese das so I just light up one candle. No ritual, no spells, no prayers... It´s such a shame. I know it. I´m just looking forward the end of all exams.

Working with Air
Tumblr media
I love working with the element air, it’s my personal favorite out of all the elements for a few different reasons that I won’t get into (I could make pages upon pages on why I love the wind but that isn’t what this is about) This post is about how to work more closely with the wind. Enjoy dearies!
Here are a few ideas on how to work with the element Air:
Conjure up the wind by singing a sweet melody from the heart (like your all time favorite songs), whistle, or use a singing bowl.
Go to a park or trail and walk around for as much as you would like and just feel the wind wrap around you. If leaves/flowers happen to fall upon you, collect them. NOTE: Make sure you do your research if you collect. Never pull or cut leaves/flowers unless you know what you are doing. Also, make sure you don’t collect anything that is harmful to your health.
Go to a park/field/backyard and practice yoga. Allow the wind to help form your body while the earth keeps you steady. Stretch, relax, breathe.
On a windy day go outside and just sit there. Close your eyes and feel the air. Breathe in and out deeply, let it fill your soul.
Burn a loose incense containing herbs that relate to air. (ex. lavender, lemongrass, pine, star anise, sage, etc) Meditate and connect to the element as the fragrance fills the room. You can burn an oil using essential oils for the same purpose. NOTE: Be careful burning anything; use a fireproof bowl, make sure it won’t fall, make sure the room is well ventilated, and most importantly, make sure you do your research. Do not burn herbs/oils that are harmful to your/others/and pets health.
Make a sigil that means “I am protected by the winds.” or something along the lines (Personally I am not a sigil maker but I see others make damn cool ones so I’m adding it, haha) Wear it on you wherever you’d like while you are out and about so your always protected.
Make a special air altar underneath a window, preferably facing East. Fill it with feathers, incenses, athame, a music player, your favorite books, colors of yellow and pale blues, whatever you’d like!
Paint, dance, read, draw, sing, play an instrument, etc, Be creative.
Learn. Do research. Gain as much knowledge about subjects you love.
Talk to the wind, communicate with it. Tell the air your problems, the joys you have felt, the pain you endured. No matter what, always your message is heard.
Research fairies. Most fairies are related to element of air but there are some that live within the other elements. Find the fairy folk who live in the clouds, in the winds, and fly with the birds; work with them if you would like. NOTE: Be careful with working with fairies as you would with any spirit. There are so many different kinds of posts on how to communicate with them so I will list sources. (This is a very small list of sources regarding fairies but ones that I found informative.)

50 ideas for a Grimoire
I collected these ideas (and others) from different sources. What you see here is what I think would be interesting to put in my Grimoire (because apparently people need to be told these things).
1 ) decorations ; a personalized cover (with a picture of the moon, a pentagram, your patronus or something else, or maybe just a nice flowery design or leather cover), using a glitter pen and stickers, pressing flowers between the pages, drawing, taping photos and other visual ideas.
2 ) protection sigil on the reverse of the cover (so people won’t read it without your authorization)
3 ) your craft name and your reason for choosing it
4 ) how you define your path, can include coven rules, the tradition(s) you follow and/or a personal set of magickal rules
5 ) wheel of the year / rituals you observe as the year passes
6 ) dedication to one or several deities you worship (or alternatively, what your relationship with deities is like, whether it’s a specific deity or deities in general)
7 ) on that note, myths and information regarding gods, godesses and deities that could be useful for you
8 ) moon phases, their correspondences and what they’re good and bad for

During this week I've visited a lot of beautiful places. I feel more close to nature and I realized that I really like my studies. I'm just a little bit afraid of my final bachelor thesis... I still don't know what to write about :/

I´ve been looking for some cauldron, or something simillar. I also tried to make some by myself, but it didn´t have good end.Today, when I went around the antique shop I found this. “I need it!” I said to me, but I hasitated because of money.
Wel, in the end I bought it, because it wasn´t as expensive as I imagined. A shop assistant told me that it is salt cellar - it surprised me little bit, because a thought that it is ashtray or something like that. But I think it doesn´t matter, it´s really nice thing to altar anyway.
I´m looking forward that I fill it with herbs or salt or I will burn fire in it. :3

I was working with potter's clay today. It was long time since I did it for the last time so I almost forgot that feeling when my hands are dryed. They look so old... I'm often joking about my age, I'm saying that I'm old. I'm not old but I'm not teenager anymore and this is strange for me. What happend? How is it possible that time runs so fast? 20 years. Am I adult? I should be but I don't feel it... Ok, but whats the point. When I looked on my dryed hands I saw hands of old woman and I realized that I'm not this old wise woman. Not yet. 20 years - what is it? If I have feeling that I have done "nothing" during last 20 years, that means I should do "something" during following 20 years. So hey girl! Do something! I don't know if it make sense but... It's interesting to think about it.
