You're beautiful, darling.
A Park Hu-Min oneshot.
Absolutely obsessed with Ryeo-un's character in WHC recently, and I wanted to give him some justice with this short oneshot. Basically, fem!reader is very insecure about her body, and Baku decides to show her the truth to try and make her feel better. (This occured after some sexual intercourse because 🙆🏻♀️.)
After everything that had happened between the two, you were exhausted. He had already cleaned you up, holding you to his chest while stroking your hair, every brush of his fingertips against you was gentle like he was holding something sacred. But you were sacred.
"You're not disgusting," he whispered near your ear, sending shivers down your spine. "You never were, baby."
You blinked up at him. Tension surrounded the two of you, but it wasn't that uncomfortable feeling. No, it felt... comforting. You tried to laugh it off, but it was no use. You knew what he was talking about. Sighing deeply, you spoke up after a long sea of silence washed over.
"Do you mean that?" you asked, unsure of what his answer was gonna be. Park Hu-min was known for being a joker of sorts, pulling off pranks and making fun of everything since he was making sure he gets to shine at the time of his life.
His gaze met yours, and his head nodded. He looked confident with what he was about to say next.
"I love your body," he said softly. "But I also love you. Every thought that passes through your mind, every dumb laugh, every insecurity you try to hide. I want all of it. I want all of you, darling."
Your tongue was stolen by the cat, absolutely speechless. Baku always preferred showing his love to you in physical means. So, this was a bit foreign. But you saw how genuine he looked at you when he whispered those words.
You let out a long exhale before leaning up and giving him a small peck on the lips. A smile crept its way towards his lips, and before you knew it, his arms were crushing you into a tight hug, causing a laugh to escape from you.
"You're too good for me, Park Hu-min," you squealed between chuckles.
"Nope," he muttered, kissing your cheeks. "I'm exactly what you deserve."
Fin.

I cannot handle his cuteness in this k-drama, istg. 😭
Why would you worry? I've never seen him drunk. He takes perfect care of himself.

"He pulled Cheong Ah into his arms, holding her tightly as he wept without restraint. He cried for everything he had lost, and for all the days ahead that would silently echo with the pain of that absence. There was no shame in his mourning of his hearing, no guilt in his grief. For the first time, he felt understood—truly, deeply understood—by the person holding him. And as the tears fell, the knots in his heart began to loosen, letting in a breath of something like peace. In the midst of his chaos, she was his calm."
