I'm slowly returning from a semi-hiatus!

general life updates: we're good, we're safe. we're attending a language school in the EU, with enough luck by next year we'll be able to apply for jobs and renew for a longer stay visa. we're not going to go back to the US anytime soon since we managed to get out.

as you can probably tell, life was crazy for awhile, and it was everything I had to just keep my head above water. but now that we're settled, I'm going to be slowly trying to get into a semi-regular art posting groove

what does that mean?? my goal is a comic a week, with my personal project artwork and development spliced in here and there

I won't be able to fully focus on it until I finish a book I've been illustrating for my dad- but I'm getting closer to finishing that every day!!

I will try to sniff through the messages in my inbox soon! If you send me things and I don't respond, it's not because I didn't care about your message, I'm just ✨bad at remembering things✨ but I do eventually

so last night I had a dream where I posted a pic in a discord server and one person just like. utterly lambasted me for it

really just ripped into me, stuff like “you should think before you post stuff like this, this is so insensitive and hurtful, don’t you think about anybody else except yourself”

and I was like. just really confused and scared and hurt and trying to defend myself but not really being able to figure out how because typing in dreams is really fucking hard

anyways. I woke up this morning and recreated the image from my dream

Emergency Commissions to get my passport

Trying my best to raise money for my passport and tattoo apprenticeship so I can better work and hopefully move out if the US sooner rather than later. My family is Latin Carribean and stuff is getting bad and work is getting harder to find. I'm doing this through Kofi so whatever helps:

This is S.U and they're very happy to meet you! :)

S.U is a standard , unremarkable, unspecial and very well behave Android in the world of HEART404. They have no gender , no personality , no dreams , no wants , no feelings and are always ready to please.

Like many androids S.U has been owned , broken , gutted , fixed , dismembered , reassembled , had their memories wipped and motor functions completely shut up several times but like always they were sent back to manufacturing and repurchased by another human looking for a companion or cheap labor. Unlike Nephele and Dane who's core processor is the illegal and banned "Humanoid Thought Projector" which functions as a soul allowing androids the ability to express and experience emotions standard droids like S.U dont have one. Their processor is a government mandated piece that's connected by default to a government data base. This allows the government to track and prevent "malfunctions" like Dane and Nephele (I.E: they can't express or "feel" genuine emotions. Any attempts to are futile)

They are in a constant state of disassociation. Its almost like they know something is missing but they dont know why they feel that way. What's it mean to "feel" anyways¿
