What is MediSync HomeSystems?
MediSync HomeSystems is our latest addition to our medication reminder services.
We have combined more traditional technologies with our latest AI systems, allowing easy medication tracking and alerting without sacrificing any of the connection between you and your health care advisor.
What comes with MediSync HomeSystems?
After installation, performed by our qualified team, you will notice two new systems added to your household.
The first is the alert system, which can be programmed in three different ways, either digitally or manually. Digital programming would be performed through the app, and is similar to how you would schedule your alerts without HomeSystems. This may be helpful if the patient in mind cannot or will not program it themselves and the caregiver would prefer not to program manually. Manual programming requires that you simply input your prescribed medication intake yourself, similar to an alarm clock. The alert system can be installed in any room in your home you desire.
The second system is the scanning system, which utilizes a scanner, similar to one you would find at a supermarket. We currently offer two types of scanners: the handheld scanner, which is portable, and the wall or desk-mounted scanner. These scanners should be able to scan both barcodes and QR codes.
So how exactly does MediSync HomeSystems work?
Similar to the app, when the time comes for you to take your medication, the alert system will set off. To turn it off, simply scan the National Drug Code (NDC) on your medication bottle. Then, with you medication already in hand, you'll be prepared for intake!
How can I go about getting MediSync HomeSystems?
You can book an appointment through our website www.medisyncco.org or call us at 123-456-7890 anytime Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM. After that, we will contact you via email or text to reconfirm your appointment. If you need to reschedule, call us at least 24 hours in advance!
Worried about the cost?
MediSync HomeSystems can be accessed through your insurance. However, you may need to make a deposit on the technology, though we will match you on your insurance's copayment! So, if your copay is $0, no deposit is required!

Regarding the MediSync App's Unwarranted Alerts - November 18, 2024
To our dearest users and their loved ones,
We greatly apologize for the unwarranted medication alerts that everyone received early this morning. Our software malfunctioned, leading to all our users' alerts to go off for everyone at the same time. As such, we had to temporarily disable the app as we worked through the errors. We are sorry for any and all disturbances and inconveniences that may have occurred during that time.
Our amazing programming team has fixed this issue, and the app is back online and functioning smoothly, with no more unwarranted medication alerts.
Thank you, everyone, for being understanding with this major bump in the road. We hope you continue to use our app, and look forward to continue supporting you all in your health journeys.

Let Us Know!: What Things Do You Habitually Forget?
People have always had the tendency forget, whether we like it or not. Forgetting these things always makes a hassle: you could end up locked out of your house, or maybe it'll cost you a second trip to the grocery store. And it doesn't help that the fact is that as you get older, your memory only gets worse.
But this isn't the end of the world! There are so many wonderful things that people have discovered to mitigate the risks of forgetfulness.
Sometimes, it just takes a checklist! You can jot it down on a post-it note and stick it to your front door, or type one out on your phone and bring it with you wherever you go!
The people around you can also help when you forget something, especially those who you're close with. Your family and friends are there to support you when you need it, whether it's something big like celebrating a birthday, or something small like reminding them to take their medication.
There are also technologies that have been invented to inform you and keep you from forgetting. Calendars are a space for you to mark down any dates, whether it be for your day-to-day or for special reasons. Search engines allow you to look up questions for any answers you would like to know or may have forgotten. With the latest phones, you can now easily alert yourself anywhere at anytime for things like waking up or performing any task, big or small.
It's because of things like these that we can let go and enjoy life, rather than anxiously sit around trying to remember every little thing. Don't forget that there are things that you can rely on to remember. Take that weight off your shoulders and let us help you remember the little things.

6 Ways to Remember Taking Your Medication
Have you ever had that nagging sensation in your mind that you're forgetting something?
Maybe it's your wallet or your keys. Maybe it's an anniversary or a birthday. Or maybe it's that you forgot whether or not you took your medication today.
Sometimes, it turns out okay. You can afford to just wait until tomorrow to take it. But if you continue to forget, it could cause the disease to get worse. Or, if you overdose, it could lead to a variety of negative effects like headaches and nausea. In the worse case scenario, you may even end up going to the hospital.
It's important to remember to take your medication. But how could you go about doing so? Here are 6 ways to remember to take your medication and how you can go about making it more fun for yourself!
1. Decorate a calendar
A physical calendar is a classic reminder method. You can make it as decorated or simplified as your heart desires. Use stickers or colored markers, and keep it somewhere it will always be visible, like on your desk or hanging on your front door.
2. Use a weekly pill box
Using a pill box is a great way to make sure you're taking the right dosage every day. To sweeten things up, you can put a piece of candy in there, too, or some other little surprise! Just make sure that you're not eating something you shouldn't be.
3. Carry a journal or a planner
Always on the go? Use a journal or planner instead! You can either buy a new book, or repurpose an old one. Just like the calendar, you can decorate it as you wish, and you can even use it to jot down any ideas or doodle in your spare time!
4. Train your pet to remind you
Have a furry pet at home? Feed them or give them a treat around the same time you need to take your medication! Eventually, they will pester you for snacks at that time every day, and you will get a reminder to take your medicine!
5. Paint a sign on your bedroom ceiling
Perfect for morning and bedtime doses, a sign looming over your bed is an efficient reminder to take your meds. Better yet, add a time activated ring of lights around it so you know exactly when to take it! Don't forget to pull a tarp over your bed! Wouldn't want to get any paint on it, do we?
6. Download a medication reminder app
An efficient and portable reminder with functions like alerting you to take your meds, and also track your dosage. There is a variety of apps to choose from, one being the MediSync app, which utilizes AI to adapt to your schedule and alert you at the most appropriate time! When it alerts you, just scan the National Drug Code (NDC) on your medicine bottle through the app, the alarm will turn off, and you'll be good to go! The app also has the endless reminder function, where it will continuously alert you until you have scanned the NDC and taken your meds. This app is free to download on iOS and Android.
Remembering to take your medication can be tricky. It's a simple task that's easy to forget. However, by implementing these methods, it can get easier. Dedicate yourself to the reminder and the habit will stick!
