So....I think this is really going to be a thing. And this might be me diving head first into doing this (as I've stated before), and understand I'm just one human and this is going to involve a LOT of learning on my part, cause Hi Hello I'm an anxious person, but....I really think this needs to happen. So here's where I'm coming from, I've been doing this witchcraft thing since I was like...8 years old. I have a small human who has no interest at this time in witchcraft (oh my sweet human let me unload all this knowledge Dx lol) and my brain sponge just needs to make more room, and the only way I can do that is by passing this information on to those who (actually) want to learn it (and not the tiny human who humours me when I go on a rant about the seasons or inner world work, etc).
But how does this work while I still identify as a Satanist, and am apart of A Satanic Church? Well...I'm not sure yet. Since starting down this path of Witchcraft, I've kind of always wanted to host or be apart of a Coven, there is a sense of community that I think solitary Witchcraft lacks and I've been a solitary Witch for most of my practice. And that's kind of the thing Witchcraft has always just been primarily a practice for me. It wasn't until the last 5, 6 years did I discover a style of Theistic Satanism as a religous practice that I jived with did I start doing witchcraft in conjuction with Satanism.
Does this mean that everyone who joins this coven will also need to be a Satanist? No. I don't fly that way. If you want to join this Coven cool amazing great, you don't have to hold my personal religous system.
Will Satanism influence some of the workings that I run? Maybe but also probably not. I have personal working relationships with my deities and demons and I don't think I want to share that aspect, at least not at this point in time. I do have a style of practice outside of Satanism (that works well with my tradition of Satanism) that I am more likely to work with within the Coven than Satanism it's self.
I've been a Witch longer than I've been a Satanist, and I have more knowledge about Witchcraft than I do about Satanism (at this current moment "Beginner Satanist" is still a vaild label for me). So starting this adventure with hosting and "leading" a Coven, I'm mostly going to stick with foundational ideas of witchcraft and if down the road members want to ask about Satanism and what my branch of Satanism is and looks like than at that point I might be comfortable and capable of educating about it. But until then I'm going to stick with my comfort zone and base the Coven with Witchcraft and keep Satanism for myself.
So...wanna join a Coven (that's absolutly not a cult ... ((I'm still going to make that joke and you can't stop me))...)?

𝖂𝖍𝖔 𝖂𝖊 𝖆𝖗𝖊...
Or "who" I want this to be...
The Midnight Garden Coven was founded in 2025 (sometime soon hopefully) by the head of the Midnight Garden Witches Academy (in the process of getting started at the time of posting this), Rosary Snnow. The Coven was born from a foundational need for community and togetherness within the Witchcraft and Pagan community in HRM during a time when there isn’t much to be seen of one, especially when it’s younger practitioners that are searching for this type of community.
That’s when it was decided that The Midnight Garden Coven ( and Academy) would fill that need and space, young Witchlings would have a place to learn, explore and grow with others and wouldn’t feel the need to continue along the path alone.
By creating the Coven we aim to insure an almost fire-wall like barrier to combat misinformation, misunderstanding, misinterpretation, etc, and are able to hold space for education, unlearning incorrect teachings/information, and allowing growth in a healthy, safe and caring atmosphere.
We are an eclectic theistic left hand friendly Coven, with a base foundation of Wicca-esque style to ritual and ceremony without the dogma or baggage. We would like to make it very clear we are NOT a Wiccan Coven. Though our rituals and ceremonies share foundational similarities to Wiccan rituals, we do not follow The Law of Three/The Threefold Law, We do not shame those who work Baneful Magick, Curses, Jinxes, or Hexes, and NEVER will we discriminate against those in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC community, Disabled community, etc, or refuse them access and entry to this Coven.

𝖂𝖊𝖑𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖊, 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝕿𝖍𝖎𝖓𝖌𝖘 𝖙𝖔 𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖊…
Welcome to The Midnight Garden and thank you for stopping by to say hello!~
If you’re new around here, let me start by introducing myself. You can call me Rosary Snnow (obviously Rose for short or if you’re lucky enough to know my name that works just fine as well).
Among the vast amount of projects I’ve started over the last few years, such as a witchcraft 101 course, a book club, and a couple blogs, I’m now working on creating a coven.
Now I’ve never done this before, and I definitely can’t say I have the credentials to be considered a High Priestex, however, I noticed the lack of community within the area I live in for Witches.
Where there is community for other mass religions, ours always seems to get the short end of the stick, and while a majority of us understand that is because a good portion of Witches are solitary creatures, I find for a lot of the younger Witchlings it can be disheartening to have to work by yourself.
So here I am! The crazy local Friendly Neighbourhood Satanic Witch, who is desperate enough to try making a community for those who need it and want it.
It’ll be a process and it will take time and there will most definitely be a lot of learning as we go, but I’m taking this leap of faith to build something I personally feel our city is lacking for the Witchcraft community.
