hey all you simblrs out there

imagine a world where you open up your computer to log on to simblr. imagine opening up tumblr, and, unless you pay for faster loading times much like you would for packages of cable, waiting 5 minutes to simply log in while using data that you will have to pay for as well. imagine seeing an empty dash with nothing left of other users who simply didn’t have the energy to continue using this platform. imagine the internet, one of the last places on earth that is not totally divided between the rich and the poor, become yet another ground for capitalism and a money tree for big corporations. imagine not being able to access certain news sites at all, simply because your service provider disagrees with them, or not having freedom of speech online ever again.

what if i told you that this is about to happen?

in fact, it’s happening already. tumblr is owned by verizon, one of the big companies that will be benefiting off of the end of net neutrality. in an attempt to silence us, tumblr will automatically make you unfollow the net neutrality tag within 20 minutes. don’t believe me? try it yourself.

if you are a simblr and you can’t afford to pay for data to upload your screenshots, download cc online, and express yourself in the last place we can all connect for free, you’re going to be affected by this whether you live in the U.S or not. 

basically, say goodbye to the free internet and hello to big company-mandated propaganda.

sometimes tech has this thing where you complain to people about it then they magically fix themselves just to spite you

I’m stuck using an old version of Tray Importer because the newer versions that only come with an exe simply don’t work for me. They don’t install anywhere, even though they go through the motions of installing, and it opens immediately after this fake installation but nothing exports.

So, a) if anything is wrong with the tray files from my lots or with my cc spreadsheets, please let me know; and b) if anyone knows how I can fix this problem and use the most up-to-date version, all ideas are welcome.
