I stopped my bike in the middle of the road, took my camera and I shot that.

Why ? Not only because it was breath-taking but because I know how much you love sunsets.

I love you in every beautiful thing I see.

I love you in every moment of peace.

Even if we are not together much, I love you with every good things that happens to me.

I think of you in every beautiful moment of my life.

When we first met

You asked why I was so silent.

I smiled quietly and you didn't push.

The first time I took a picture of you, you understood why.

Because I love in silence, but with so much power.

Now, you know that eyes convey love more fluently than my voice could ever do.

One day, I will give you one of my camera.

You will never feel far away from me anymore.

I love her.

Not in the blinding, butterfly-in-the-stomach way. No.

I love her like my scars don't matter anymore. Like the fact I lost almost all my left eye and my legs don't matter. Like I can do something more than just surviving. I love her like that. And I will be the strongest for her because I know what it feels to have been at my weakest.

I love her.

10 years after my very first (and still at home) horse, this one just arrived in the family for a whole new adventure together ! As I'm a retired eventing rider, I chose dressage and he chose me.

I managed to lost an eye since he unintentionally kicked me in the head and the first month together was quite rough but hell, we are going to rock that 🤘🏻

to lgbtq+ indigenous youth:

just a reminder that you are under no obligation to label yourself according to the western-centric + white-centric labels of gender and sexuality.

lgbtq+ identities existed long before colonization touched our land. You do not have to exchange one type of conformity for another to fit in with other lgbtq+ folks.

If labels like nonbinary, genderfluid, etc feel good to you, go for it!

If two-spirit feels right, that’s awesome! If not, don’t sweat it.

If you have an identity specific to your indigenous heritage, you are under no obligation to translate your complex, nuanced identity into terms that non-natives understand.

You are under no explanation to explain your identity to non-natives.
