In Ducktales 2017 (If i remember correctly), Launchpad mentions using gum to fix parts of the Sunchaser and when re-watching an episode of the Original Ducktales, his sister Loopy uses gum to fix part of The Joyrider (I think that's the name of the plane).

Now I'm curious to know how it would've gone had we seen an episode dedicated to Launchpad's family visiting Duckburg or something lol.
