It's only after atem goes goes to the afterlife does yugi realize that he was in love with him. Dealing with the loss of his is a lot harder than he though

Yugi sighs as he sits on his bed looking through his cards. "Why didn't I see it before you left..?"

I only got to feel you once. When I held you in your memories. Yugi whimpers as tears form in his eyes. "Dammit! Why did you have to leave me! When Yugi moves to a new town to start over after coming out as trans he meets a guy named Atemu.

Yugi's P.O.V

I sigh as a I button up my uniform. /okay yugi you got this you and grandpa moved here to start over so you could be you and to get away from dad./ I grab my back back rushing down the stairs. "Yugi my boy what's the rush?" I smile "sorry grandpa I'm just so excited!" I say before grabbing a piece of toast walking out of our apartment and onto the streets of domino. I take a deep breath. /okay off to sc-/ I yelp as I run into something falling backwards onto the ground. "Sorry are you alright?!" I look up going wide eyed seeing a boy who looks kinda like me standing over me with his hand out. "Sorry I wasn't paying attention and I ran right into you are you alright?" I gulp. Looking in his eyes their so red like ruby's I feel my heart beat in my ears. "Excuse me I said are you alright?" He ask again I barely hear him. I take a deep breath taking his hand as he pulls me up off the ground like it was nothing. "I'm very sorry again." He says he looks at me "oh you have my school uniform on!" "Do you go to domino high?" I nod not trusting my voice. /man this guy is attractive/ "I'm Atemu by the way! Most of my friends call me Yami though." "I-I'm Yugi" I say trying to smile at him. "Are you new?" "I don't remember seeing you" he asks beginning to walk ahead. I follow "yeah I just moved here with my grandpa" I say "your a freshman I presume?" He asks I blush "no! I'm a junior!" Atemu looks at me shocked "sorry you just look so young.." I sigh "I know I look not so mature for my age I get that a lot but jeez.." I huff walking ahead of him. "Sorry! I didn't mean to offend you!" He says catching up to me. I roll my eyes "hmm" I say walking up to the school and inside to the the office to get my schedule.

Atemu's P.O.V

I shake my head as Joey scarfs his fries down "Joey your gonna choke be careful" I say before looking up seeing yugi walk in grabbing his tray standing in the middle of the room looking for a place to sit. I stand up walking over to him. "Hey yugi!" He looks at me annoyed "oh hi" "look I didn't mean to offend you earlier and I'm sorry..but do you want to sit with me and my friends?" He looks at me his eyes lighting up. "Yes!" He says smiling. I smile back grabbing his hand pulling him to the table. He sits down next to me. "Hey guys this is yugi! Yugi this is Joey, Tristan, Ryou, and Teà!" Yugi waves shyly. "Nice to meet you all." I sigh starting to ear my food i lol noticing yugi is shifting uncomfortably and rubbing his ribs.

No one's P.O.V

Atemu not thinking places his hand on yugis thigh. Yugi jumps looking at him. "Hey are you okay?" Atemu asks. Yugi nods. " I'm fine. Don't worry about me." He says eating his burger. Atemu looks at him unconvinced but doesn't push it.

Journal part 1

After Atem gets his own body Yuugi finds himself having hard to keep his dirty thoughts in control so he gets a journal to express his feelings but soon atem thinks that yugi is hiding things from him and if puts a Strain on their relationship. Can yugi confess his feelings?

Yuugi sighs softly as he sits down at his desk at home trying to do his home work. He can't help but glance over to his partner who is reading a book on his bed. He looks at his paper that has hardly any work on it. He moans in frustration. "Partner?" Yuugi looks up. "Yes Atem?" "Are you alright?" You seem extremely bothered by something?" Yuugi shakes his head. "I'm okay really yam-I mean atem." Atem stands up walking over to him. He leans over him. "You've hardly gotten anything done partner.." "what's wrong?" He places his hands on his shoulders gently massaging his shoulders. "Why are you so stressed?" Yuugi sighs leans into his touch. /what do I do what do I say?" He squeezes his eyes shut tightly. "Yuugi.. what's this?" Atem asks seeing a notebook setting on his pillow. Yugi blushes about to grab it when Atem picks it up. "Yugi partner why are you so scared for me to see this??" "I thought we didn't have secrets!" Atem says in a hurt tone. "Atem it's complicated.." Yugi says Atem glares at him. "Is it because I have my own body you feel you must keep things from me?!" He yells. Yugi "Atem i can't.." Atem sets the journal down walking out.

The pharaoh sighed as he sit on his throne. /I haven't seen Heba all day which is unusual./ the pharaoh thinks to himself. Standing up he walks to the doors of the throne room waking out down the halls of the palace. As he walks he hears whispering

"Heba you can't keep avoiding the pharaoh your his personal servant!" He soon realizes it's mana his best friend. "Shush! Mana I know but I can't even look at him without-!" "Uh hum!" We've known each other since we where kids../ He looks down feeling his heart sink. "Did do something wrong?" He mutters to himself. Before walking towards the palace gardens.

"My pharaoh don't forget that you have meeting the day after tomorrow with a leader of the main land." Atem nods "I won't thank you" he says to his adviser. Atem looks up going wide eyed seeing priest Seto and Heba talking. The pharaoh couldn't hold back a growl as he sees his cousin./oh so he can't speak to me but he can speak to seto!/ The pharaoh stomps over. "Heba come now!" He says grabbing his wrist rather harshly dragging him to his bed chambers. Shutting the door shoving Heba inside. "I demand to know the meaning of your actings!" The pharaoh yells. Heba flinches and moves back. "What do you mean my pharaoh?" "You know what I mean Heba! You been avoiding me not talking to me or even playing games with me like we used to! But you have time to converse with my cousin?!" Heba looks down. "I-I been busy." "What could you have possibly been busy with that caused you to never see me?!" Heba clenched his fist. "WHY DO YOU CARE?! I'm a slave! I'm nothing to you!" Heba yells tears streaming down his face. Atem looks at him him shock but before he can stop himself he grabs heba's face and kisses him deeply.
