Has anyone ever addressed what might happen if Remus attempted to become an animagus?

If it was successful, what if he found out he could shift into a less potent version of the wolf as easily as James becomes Prongs? Or what if he turned into something completely different? To have a harmless animal represent his true humanity would probably mean so much to him.

A spell that suddenly reverts scarring back to open wounds would be particularly terrifying if Remus Lupin were involved.

HC: Dorcas has to frequently stop tipsy Marlene from stealing silverware and glasses from restaurants and bars. They’ll squabble and Dorcas will wrestle away whatever she’s trying to swipe before they leave.

But sometimes, halfway home, Marlene will just giggle and pull a fancy spoon out of her pocket.

James Potter was definitely one of those teens who grows an absolutely atrocious caterpillar mustache that everyone and his mother begs him to shave off. Just because he can.

HC: Right after Remus gets the biggest scar across his face, he secretly goes to Lily and asks her to teach him how to cover it up because he’s so disgusted by it and he’s afraid Sirius thinks it’s unsightly too. :(

Fic idea: A lengthy Marauders movie series or show is being filmed and Sirius, Remus, James, Lily, etc are all cast as child actors.

The storyline could include: the drama/fun of filming over the years, learning how to deal with fame and partying as they get older, Remus struggling to hide his worsening health, Sirius trying to hide his ruthless stage mom’s abuse, Lily dealing with her sister’s jealousy/her family using her as a cash cow, James being sensitive to public opinion/ridicule, and of course— all of them slowly growing up and falling in loveee!

Sirius is the kind of person who would pretend that every meal he ate at the Potter’s wasn’t too spicy for him while panicking on the inside a little bit and trying to be subtle about guzzling water.

Fic idea: Sirius and James accept a dare to throw a dart at a world map and travel to wherever it lands for a week long holiday.

They end up in some rural backwater place where it seems like there’s nothing to do until they run into a certain guy & gal who take them under their wings and show them their way of life.

Marlene is that friend who always has to get out and parallel park the car because her friends can’t do it right.

She always acts like she’s annoyed but she secretly loves being *that* girl.

As kids, before the Marauders knew Remus was a werewolf, Sirius was the first to notice that Remus wasn’t just sickly—he was concealing being in immense pain.

Sirius was no stranger to hiding injuries and could recognize the signs as more than simply being under the weather. :(
