While roaming around the south side of the convention, I met up again with BboySpiderMan except this time he was suited up as DC’s Nightwing. His armor’s details is something you really have to see up close. Having never cosplayed with armor myself, I was surprised he was even able to move around very easily.

Hey fam! So I got some more photos for you to check out and share.

Let me introduce you to the cosplay’s power couple Alana & Michael. You might have heard of them before as AlanaWaffles and LightReturn. For the last day of Comikaze they put together a spot on Uncharted cosplay. What I love about Alana & Michael’s (#wafflesreturn) work is the level of confidence, you can clear see it in each pose they make.

If there’s one thing I absolutely LOVE about Los Angeles and SoCal in general, are all of the conventions that happen in the summer. By the time Long Beach Comic Con came around I was already on 4th con for the summer.

First up are Kimmi and Caitlin who are one of the first cosplayers that I ever shot with. For the first day of Long Beach Comic Con they went together to as Cinderella and as the Fairy Godmother.

Next up is a Alexandra also known as Lexocracy, who showed up as human Ariel on the second day of the convention.

Also along for the shoot was Hapa Go Lucky also known as Sarah, to go along with the Disney Princess theme, she was cosplaying as Aurora.

Our next closer is DeaththornCosplay showing up as Jack Frost, too bad she couldn’t make it cold because that weekend was HOT.

One of the great things that I absolutely love about cosplay, is that I get to meet awesome and interesting people. Take Geo and Red Spartan armor for example, I’ve met Geo a few times while attending Club Cosplay events so naturally once we met up at a con we had to shoot. Besides sharing an interest in cosplay we also have the same taste in music and make the same exact dumb jokes.
