Ok I'm all the way updated on the balance and here's my thoughts

Blake is so human in such a poetic way.

I feel even worse for Blake than I did before. Like can we talk about how genuinely terrified he sounded? (Erik's voice acting never fails to amaze me ever).

Is he crazy? Yes. Did he do horrible horrible things? Yes. He was also so horribly broken and manipulated by GODS which is what ultimately made him reach that point of insanity.

I can't say that he's not to blame for any of it, he's definitely partly at fault, but I can't bring myself to blame him completely.

What I said about him being so incredibly human is true. I think he's a perfect example of a philosophical concept called psychological egoism, the idea that humans are selfish by nature.

The inherently selfish want to save him and his loved one and therefore twisting his morals, the hubris he held in thinking he was of any value to a god who clearly viewed him as a tool, the devotion to the person he loved that will ultimately kill them, all of it was so beautifully human.

Yk how I've said avior and starlight were Orpheus and Eurydice? I think Blake and his partner are too. In the way that his love was so strong it was catastrophic, in the way that Blake's attempt to make sure his love was safe is what killed them.

To put everything simply: Blake they could never make me hate you.
