"James May's Crosley" or "A Fine Car" painting by me. ♥︎

To start the new month of May (it's also my surname hehe) I've got something special for you. Another painting for my friend Zach, who's not only the owner of Jeremy Clarkson's Mitsuoka Le Seyde. With a little help from the Smallest Cog and me he was also able to purchase James's awful Crosley! ^◡^

Three prints of my painting are currently in production, this time measuring 60cm by 75cm. As last time, one's for my mate Zach, one he will give to James in person and the last one I keep for myself. *✦.

This painting took me three months to finish (I don't have much spare time to draw!), I wanted to come up with a funny idea to represent the Crosley as one of the worst vehicles to drive in a Grand Tour special - while still trying to draw a likeable portrait of James! ♡ So I decided to draw a scrap yard full of bad Grand Tour cars. Can you spot them all? Also the yellow number plate comes from the back-up car from Eurocrash, my friend found it at the backseat when he was cleaning the Crosley! So I had to draw it too. The other one was my idea...

Yesterday was my birthday and I was gifted a real piece of Grand Tour history, which I must share with you. ♡

This is Jeremy Clarkson's Le Seyde's (as seen in "Eurocrash") number plate, a crystal from the candelabras and a piece of fabric of its interior. ♥︎

I recently have drawn a painting for my friend Zach, who's the owner of Jeremy's car and he sent me this awesome present! I will treasure it forever!

As my big sized painting is still in production, I will keep you updated in case I get a message back from Jeremy...I'm really interested if he likes it...and if he can find a place big enough to hang it on the wall! ^◡^

"Jeremy Clarkson's Le Seeeyydeeee" painting by me. ♥︎

This painting is for my friend Zach, who's the owner of the Grand Tour's original and one and only Mitsuoka Le Seyde from "Eurocrash", and if that isn't enough, it's also for Jeremy Clarkson himself! Only three big prints of it are in existence so far (one's for me hehe). So if you spot a copy of that painting at a car show, or maybe even somewhere at the farm, please think of me! ^◡^

As mentioned before, by measuring 100cm by 70cm it took me an eternity to draw all the small details. I also had to come up with a rather dark background to let the car itself, the candelabras and the lights shine. I decided it should be a warm autumn evening at Clarkson's Farm. Lovely friends told me this might be my most realistic portrait of Jeremy so far. Thank you! ♡

Watched it ˘-˘:  - now just let me cry in front of my TV... T^T

Sadly the only good thing is that I came so late to this fandom, there are more Top Gear and solo shows out there which I haven't seen yet, rather than those I have on DVD/Blu-ray and digital. Now there's enough time to fill those gaps. The Grand Tour will be my favourite show forever and nothing can change that.

I won't stop doing artworks and comics of them. I'm currently working on a commission for somebody every GT fan knows...I will reveal the finished (extremely big and detailed) painting later this autumn. There's also a script (due to its length in readable form first) for a future comic in the making. You won't get rid of me that easily!

Oh, and the main reason for this reblog is, as always, for all my friends who asked me about a big size version, there you go.

My tribute painting for the best show ever! ♡ Thanks to Richard, Jeremy and James for everything they did just to make me laugh in front of the telly! Of course I will continue watching re-runs (as I always did, because I came waaaayyyy too late to this fandom) and every single solo show, because they are brilliant as well.

I thought a sunset setting with their cars in the salt flats might be the best scenery for a farewell painting, like this one. And yes, I've drawn them a bit younger on purpose, because...I don't know, they looked so cute I didn't want to change it after inking everything...˘◡˘:

Anyway, I hope you like my painting! I'm already getting tissues ready to be prepared for Friday, 13th T^T

Regarding my Grand Tour arts and comic stories, don't worry! The show might be over, but I still have so much to paint, write and create, also lots of commissions I'm still working on - I will never stop!!! ♡

"The one and only Kia Cee -apostrophe- d", painting by me.

Commissioned by no other than @TopGearKia - the owner of the original reasonably priced car from Top Gear! Thank you so much for choosing me to draw a picture for you!!! ♥︎

This painting was quite a challenge for me, because I usually never copy already existing photos. For this one I tried to replicate the original screenshot, as well as also changing a few things: it's the Stig driving, the background arrangements are different and of course you get my trademark clouds and colours. And also drawing this picture took me an eternity...

It was an honour working on a painting dedicated to the most famous Kia...in the world. That's why I wanted to post it here on my blog as well. Maybe you like it too.

I've done a thing!!! ^◡^

Meet three absolutely lovely chaps ♥︎ who can't wait to find the coolest miniature car I have amongst all of my toys!

James, Jeremy and Richard are 3D prints (which is the only thing I didn't do myself) then I sanded the figurines, sprayed carefully white primer on them and painted all of it. This was my first time ever I've painted figurines with acrylic colours, which I also had to mix myself.

I think they turned out really sweet for my first time drawing actual figurines and not just my usual paintings (and comics). It is different to work on 3D printed stuff, rather than on paper or digital drawing tablets. But I could use some of my knowledge, more or less...

With Jeremy being the tallest, measuring 11cm and Richard around 9cm, I'm sure I will find a nice place for them to take care of my toy vehicles!

They are so cute, I love them! ♥︎

You won't get any spoilers from me...all I can say is: fantastic as always, but I also feel so sorry for the trio (I kinda often do that), that must have been the hardest conditions ever to film. And it is an extremely long episode! Over two hours!

"Bomberman: Fun at White Glacier", painting by me.

I haven't done video game fan art in ages, but I had to contribute something for my favourite gaming hero's 40th anniversary: Bomberman!

So this years' Christmas painting of mine isn't really a festive one, it's my take on the first and third White Ice stages in Baku Bomberman for the Nintendo 64.

As for me, having the worst year in my entire life behind me (Now I lost two of my favourite people and a few days ago I found out that one of my dearest friends is about to lose the battle against cancer as well). I only can hope a new year is a new start. I hope I will find pleasure again in drawing and posting stuff here.

They delivered and handed out 100 prints of my Jeremy Clarkson painting at the Diddly Squat Farmshop (as well as my Comic book for Jezza himself)!

My Grand Tour comic book plus this poster will be a Christmas gift for Mr. Clarkson himself (Gerald's daughter Lucy gives it to him)! I'm speechless! ～♡

All the people shopping there today got a copy of it, but the shop still has a lot in stock. I wonder how long it might last?

As awful as my whole year has been, this is the most incredible Christmas present I ever got and yes, wishes can come true! Thanks to my incredible friends, this is just amazing, so I had to share this story!

"Jeremy Clarkson with his Range Rover" ♥︎ painting by me.

You know, one of my biggest wishes is to visit the Diddly Squat Farm Shop, buy anything which makes me happy and leave my Grand Tour comic and art book and paintings of mine there! But I know that won't happen, and so instead I've drawn a picture of Jezza at his farm.

Of all the cars he has driven (and in this case even owned), I think his Range Rover might be one of my favourites! *✦.° ★

I have sewn a shirt with flowers for my Cinnamoroll plushie from Build-a-Bear. ♥︎ I recently got him as a gift from a dear friend of mine and she included a shirt which looks like one of James's! That made me fall in love with the idea of dressing my plushies like the trio. ～♡ I think Cinna's ears look cute as "hair" with the bandana (which is actually mine). ^◡^: I know it's far from being perfect, but I didn't have a pattern or sewing machine…I know, doll's clothes you can buy look better, but I tried.

This is the outfit (minus the shoes) my friend chose for him. Coincidence? Of course not! Hahaha  •◡•

And that's a jumper I had in my doll's clothes collection.

By the way, as most people don't know him: Cinnamoroll is a character from Sanrio. He should be a dog with floppy ears and he has a soft spot for cooking and baking. He's also one of my favourite characters from the Hello Kitty franchise!
