Okay, but hear me out.

I don’t know what your opinions on Snape are, but here’s what I think about him.

I don’t particularly like his personality, but I really like his character. And there’s a difference between the two. I obviously would not like to have a teacher like him in school, and would much prefer someone like Lupin, but I just think that Snape’s character is just so complicated and so very well-written. It gives me a mix of so many emotions that I can’t explain, I feel very conflicted because he seems emotionless but at the same time, full of it. He is cruel but at the same time, trying to protect a boy in the only way he knew how. He is mean, but at the same time, a very good teacher indeed. He’s bad, but at the same time, good.

So yeah, Snape is one my favourite characters, not because he is nice, or kind, or good, but because he is a character that is different from all others, and it just makes him so compelling.

JAMES AND LILY POTTER IN HEAVEN

A little head cannon for y’all

• Okay so Imagine this: Harry gets bullied by the Dudleys everyday and James shouting at them in heaven so desperate to protect his little boy but could not do anything about it and Lily is furious too but has to be the one to calm her husband down because James was disturbing the other dead witches and wizards in heaven trying to have their peace.

• James literally sweating buckets when Harry is doing something dangerous or in danger like “HARRY NOOOO” and then “YEAHHH HAARRYYY THAT’S MY BOYY!!!” When he does something great.

• And can you even imagine. CAN. YOU. EVEN. IMAGINE. James’ and Lily’s reactions when they realized Harry’s deepest desire of his heart is THEM (when he looked into the mirror of erised) Lily is now crying in quiet sobs touched but also sad that she cannot fulfill her son’s heart’s greatest desire.

• “My father was a great man!”

“My dad does not strut, and nor do I.”

“My dad wasn’t a drunk!”

James crying in heaven hearing these words from Harry throughout the years.

• Lily smiling and James trying not to cry and both doing the “🥺🥺🥺” face every time Sirius and Remus are taking care of Harry because it’s probably the closest thing they’ll feel at interacting with their little boy.

• James watching Remus avoiding Tonks like oh come onnn, after all these years of us trying to prove that you are worthy of love, Moonyyyy. Just go get the girllll.

• James dramatically sobbing at Harry’s first kiss like OmG mY LiTtLe BoY iS aLL gRoWn Up AwWwWw!!!! And Lily is just there hinding a little smile because it reminded her of her first kiss with James...

So I like to think that Witches and wizards needs to send in their Port Folio to apply for a job at the ministry or something and here I wrote down:

Age: 1

I survived the killing curse (Avada Kedavra) and Defeated the dark lord, ending the first Wizarding War

Age: 11

(1st year at Hogwarts)

My first year at Hogwarts. This year I became the youngest seeker in a century. I also took down a fully grown mountain troll in the girls bathroom. But then My defense against the dark arts professor is trying to choke and kill me, so I killed him with my bare hands, he also has Voldemort possessing the back of his head. He was also trying to steal the Philosopher's stone, which I successfully saved.

Age: 12

(2nd year at Hogwarts)

I opened the chamber of secrets with my ability of Parseltongue, whilst there, I killed a giant basilisk that had lived for almost a hundred years with the sword of Gryffindor that I pulled from the sorting hat. I also used the basilisk’s fang to stab Tom Marvolo Riddle’s diary, which happens to be Lord Voldemort’s horcrux, so basically I killed a part of his soul and saved a first year student from dying in the chamber; Ginny Weasley (now my wife).

Age: 13

(3rd year at Hogwarts)

This year I found out that a mass murderer has escaped after 12 years in Azkaban to come after me, but at the end I realized that he was innocent and is my godfather. But then my defense against the dark arts professor forgot to take his wolfsbane potion and turned into a werewolf and tried to kill me. I survived him for some reason but then came across probably over a hundred dementors who tried to suck out my soul, I passed out but was somehow safe. I then travelled back in time using the time turner to save a hippogriff from being executed. I also realized that I survived the dementor’s attacks because my future self came to rescue me. I conjured a full patronus, beating off more than a hundred dementors, I then flew the hippogriff and helped my godfather (who is waiting to be kissed by the dementors) escape.

Age: 14

(4th year at Hogwarts)

Someone had put my name into the Goblet of Fire and I was chosen as the fourth champion. I had completed all three tasks of the Triwizard Tournament but the Triwizard cup had been turned into a port key where I was teleported to Lord Voldemort’s hiding place. Peter Pettigrew killed my friend who was also a champion, he took my blood and brought Voldemort back. I duelled Voldemort one on one and I managed to escape with my friend’s dead body back to the tournament. I was then almost killed by one of the death eaters who was disguised as Alastor Moody and had apparently been my defense against the dark arts professor all year. He was also the one who put my name into the goblet of Fire, helped me win (without me knowing) so that Voldemort could come back.

Age: 15

(5th year at Hogwarts)

Nobody except some teachers and a few friends at Hogwarts believed that Voldemort is back. So basically the whole wizarding world is against me and Dumbledore. So I had recruited an army of Hogwarts students, called it Dumbledore’s Army and taught them Defense against the dark arts myself. We also have to keep these meetings a secret as Umbridge is taking over the school, but we were later caught. I then fought against a big group of death eaters alongside The Order Of The Phoenix in the department of mysteries, where I lost my dear godfather; Sirius Black. I then watched as Dumbledore duelled Voldemort. Voldemort could not defeat Dumbledore so he possessed me but I fought him off with the power of love and friendship. The ministry arrived just in time to see with their own eyes that Voldemort really is back so now the boycott against Dumbledore and I have been lifted.

Age: 16

(6th year at Hogwarts)

In this year, Voldemort and his death eaters were taking over the wizarding world. I was a part of professor Slughorn’s Slug Club, during this year I discovered the dark lord’s many secrets, his past, and most importantly; his horcruxes. So Dumbledore and I begin our hunt to destroy all of Voldemort’s horcruxes so that he could finally be killed. We went to a deadly cave, where we had to swim across the ocean, cut our hand for blood, sail across a lake and drink poison. We also had to battle hundreds of Inferi emerging from the lake, trying to pull us down. With Dumbledore’s help, we managed to get one of the horcruxes and return to Hogwarts, to discover that it is fake. A few death eaters broke into the school and I fought in the battle of the astronomy tower, where Dumbledore is killed. After that, I have decided not to return to Hogwarts the next year, but to finish off what Dumbledore started, so that the dark lord would be mortal once more.

Age: 17

This year I did not return to Hogwarts as I intend to destroy all of Voldemort’s horcruxes. Firstly, the order came to the Dursleys house where I lived to escort me out by having seven people drink poly juice potion, becoming me. However, there was an ambush of the death eaters and we battled across the sky. I attended Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour’s wedding but the death eaters attacked so Hermione, Ron and I had to escape. We are now on the run so on the first night we took shelter at number 12, Grimmauld Place. There, we discovered where the real Salazar Slytherin’s locket (Voldemort’s horcrux) is. The next day, we broke into the ministry of magic, disguising ourselves,as everyone is looking for me. We attacked Umbridge and managed to get the locket of her, we then escaped, now to a forest. We tried all we could to destroy it but failed. I then found the sword of Gryffindor under the icy lake where I went in to retrieve it. With the sword, we destroyed the locket.

Unfortunately, after that, we were captured and held prisoner at Malfoy Manor, but with Dobby’s help, we escaped (again). We had lost Dobby, for Bellatrix Leatrange had thrown a knife deep in his chest as we apparated to the shell cottage. Though, whilst at Malfoy Manor, we discovered another hiding place of Voldemort’s horcrux: inside Bellatrix lestrange’s vault at Gringotts.

Later on, we broke into Gringotts and into Bellatrix’s vault where we found Helga Hufflefuff’s cup (another horcrux) and escaped with it on a dragon, destroying the bank. Then, we snuck back into Hogwarts as I realized that another horcrux is hidden somewhere inside the castle.

That night, Voldemort and the death eaters came to Hogwarts and the battle of Hogwarts begins. I had found Rowena Ravenclaw’s lost diadem where Voldemort had hidden and destroyed it. We all fought in the battle, many lives are lost. Until I realized by watching through Snape’s memories that I was a horcrux myself. A horcrux Voldemort had accidentally created the first time he tried to kill me. A horcrux Voldemort didn’t even know existed. And in order to kill him, I must die. I then sacrificed myself to let Voldemort kill me, but then I awoke from death. I survived the killing curse the second time, and was carried back to the castle with everyone thinking I was dead. I then reveal myself alive and continue the battle. Nobody died after that as my sacrifice had become a protection for all. Neville Longbottom had pulled out the sword of Gryffindor from the sorting hat and killed Nagini. Now, there are no more horcruxes left, just Voldemort. We fought once more and I had finished him for good.
