uh gosh there are so many times uhhhhhh okay wait i got one

so one time when i was like 15/16-ish i think my mum heated up some like frozen Mac and cheese (this specific Mac and cheese is a kind that even the smell of makes me feel sick) and when i told her that if i ate it i would probably throw up she stood next to me at the table and forced me to eat the whole bowl and then when i inevitably threw up because of it she yelled at me for making a mess and made me clean it up. then in typical confusing abusive parent manner, she made me some ginger tea, put me in bed and gave me some water and told me it was probably good i threw up anyway since i wasn't eating right lately and i looked like I'd gained some weight lmaooooo she's so silly

For me it was when I was in eighth grade and the fall dance was coming up (and I didn't want to go but she made me) and she wanted me to wear a dress even though I hate wearing dresses she forced me to wear one and I was crying the whole time

This is what I looked like the whole night and the boys at my old middle school were cat calling me and telling me I look fat (it's because I have a little belly fat) and I was getting so much gender dysphoria and now I don't talk to my mom about a lot of things like asking her questions or talking about my feelings even though she is trying she makes it worse and I hate it when she tries to focus

Do you guys think that space and the stars work the same way in the Neighbourhood as they do here?

Cuz I started thinking about it, and now I can’t stop. Like okay so if it doesn’t work the same way, I can totally see Yuma just asking about the stars one day - cuz he watches them at night a lot while everyone else is asleep - and then Yuma is really curious about it, so Tamakoma gives Yuma like a telescope or a buncha audiobooks about it, so that he has something else to do while he watches the stars.

Nakahara Chuuya-sensei was actually called “Chuuya” more often than he was called “Nakahara.” So for example, in the professional literary community as well as in articles and reviews of his work (like this modern example) he was most often referred to as “Chuuya.” I’m not exactly sure why (maybe it was the fact that he didn’t get along with his father and didn’t want to be called the same name or the child-like quality in his features that made him look young and that inspired people to be less formal with him?), but his going by his given name rather than his family name makes him an exception to the rule.
