🌮 Great Conversation , 🍸 Delicious Libations, 🔥 & Beautiful People . . . . 💫 A Taco & Tequila Bar opened in the heart of Flatbush, wonderfully nestled in Prospect Lefferts Garden (PLG) at 2:00 pm 🕑 on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. . Personally, I love being a part of new beginnings. There is something uniquely special about the energy of both the consumer and small business owner that is simple EUPHORIC! Being one of the first people to Patronize a local business allows you to demonstrate your love for the community and help the merchant unlock the keys to “everything under the sun” to perfecting their craft going forward. . 🗣 let me try to tell you how much fun I actually had on this day, walked in at 2:01 PM …. Entertained several friends and clients to the point where I needed to leave at 6:30 PM ran 🏃🏾‍♀️ home from the sweltering 90° outside and returned an hour or so later and dined and fellowship with the beautiful people of Brooklyn well after the bar closed 🤩 🌙 . New year resolutions may be obsolete for some but I’ve made several promises to myself and those closest around my energy. . I spent the last quarter helping individuals, small businesses and myself fight homelessness, Covid-19 illness & restrictions, small business failures, bad credit, broken hearts 💔, loosing loved ones & family members, loneliness, quarantine weight, hacked pages, domestic abuse, #BMWZ4 Freeport nightmares, new loves, political fundraising campaigns, mid-year and end- of-year reviews, branding strategies, SBA loan and grant applications and decline letters, IG, Snapchat, and TicTok algorithms, trips to Africa & Dubai, new small business formations and a host of other important and essential endeavors 🌟 🔥 . 🤳🏾 SELFIE v Narcissiism v Psychopathy swipe left ⬅️ . . . 💫 about four years ago, JR Pulse @jrpulse invited me to a lavish affair at the Radisson Hotel in New Rochelle, like always, I grabbed a good old girl 👗 from one of my favorite visionaries @emmanuel.whitmore, who at the time, mesmerized me at @versaillesbklyn along with the gorgeous @chinthegreatest 💕 . 📸 While posing for this picture, I thought about all the ties between social media, selfies and narcissism. I mean, when are we simply taking a picture because we love how we look versus when we are unhealthily seduced and addicted to posting the “perfect picture?” . There’s a huge difference between narcissism and a healthy case of self-esteem. Try to remember in each there is an EFFECT which leads to a CAUSE . There is a scientific study that says 10% of people in their 20s are narcissistic, 30% of university students were narcissistic in psychological test and 3% of people over 60 are narcissist 😳 . 💔 In 2014, I began a long tedious journey learning the painful and dangerous differences between a person with self-esteem and psychopath and sociopath behavioral tendencies. . A Simple Christmas Wish for You🙏🏽 . . . 🎁 I wish we all would reflect on the simplicity of joy and hope the holiday season combined with Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Ramadan and other spiritual and festive celebrations originally intended to provide the universe. 🌎 It is my belief that this year has helped us to simplify our activities and traditions so that we could focus more on the celebration of life and the appreciation of friends and family. .
