you’re at the mcr reunion concert. everyone is wearing their tumblr merch. you and your mutuals are talking about the spn prequel, the new doctor, and misha collins “coming out as bisexual”. when mcr comes out they smile and gerard way says, “we have a surprise for you guys.” suddenly fallout boy and greenday walk on stage together, joined by panic! who announces their new music coming out. everyone is crying. then as if things couldn’t get better, dan howell shows up, apparently he left his tour just for this! dan and phil walk onto stage and kiss, holding a pride flag. everyone clapped

i think the main thing thats so cool about all this is that it feels different. it doesn’t feel like last year where we were regressing into our old fandoms as escapism. our favorite childhood creators are back. and they’re DIFFERENT. they’ve GROWN as people. but they’re still themselves, just a newer version. and idk that feels nice. bc i feel different too, but in a good way. we got to grow up with these people. we’ve changed. and now we get to see how they’ve changed

GSA

Hey so, I want to help my school’s GSA (Gender - Sexuality Alliance) out by making a list of things we could discuss with the school to become more inclusive/ talk about / organise or do things with. I’d really appreciate it if y'all could dm me some suggestions as well or reply to this post with some suggestions. Thank you! (Maybe also like rb to spread it around, I want as many opinions as possible)

i hate the new trend of suburban middle to upper class people making fun of GSA kids. i live in a rural primarily redneck community with 400 people in my entire high school. how many people are in your school? what percentage of them are openly gay? probably more than ours. our school needs the GSA. it is the one time the maybe 10 queer kids can take a break from the bullying or exclusion they face to just be themselves with their community without shame and you have the audacity to make fun of them too for liking steven universe or playing ukulele? how dare you.
