  I turned over in the bed, wiggling out of Loki's grasp. I pulled the sheets off of me to get comfortable. I closed my eyes but nothing happened. I slowly got out of bed and crept out of our room, going to the kitchen quietly and grabbing a glass. I got some water and saw that it was 4am. I sighed and sat down on our cozy couch, setting down the water next to me.

  I grabbed the remote and turned on the t.v. and turning down the volume. I put on some mindless cartoons and watched, having a quiet laugh here and there. Eventually my eyelids grew heavier and heavier; I was struggling to keep them open. It was about 6 am now and the dark sky was getting lighter. I contemplated going to the room but I was too lazy. I laid my head on a pillow and closed my eyes, drifting into a light sleep.

  I heard footsteps coming down the hall and woke up a bit. I opened my eyes and Loki crouched down in front of me, his hands going to my hair and stroking it a bit; I hummed in delight.

I was sitting by the black lake shore, under a tree with a special version of Hogwarts, A History. I was almost finished with it and had another book in mind that I wanted to read next. I was very deep into the book, learning about various things about the castle. Until I heard some laughing and screaming.

  "1! 2! 3!" Some screaming and a huge splash was heard. I growled out of frustration and snapped by book shut, looking towards the interruption. My anger disappeared for a second when I saw Draco. But then it came back when I saw his two goons and a drenched Hufflepuff in the lake trying to get out. If I was a cartoon there would be steam coming out of my ears. I dropped my book by the tree and ran over to the group.

  "Malfoy!" His laughing stopped when he saw me running towards him. He looked scared and I stopped in front of him, getting my wand out quickly and pointing it at him.

  "You evil git! How could you do this to  fellow student! Throw her in the Black Lake! For what?!" He tried to shy away from my wand but I kept it steady on him.

  "She's a puny first year mudblood." That did it. I was furious. I brought my knee up and kneed him where it hurt most. He fell to the ground in pain. I quickly turned to his two goons and started coming towards them but they ran off, leaving Draco on the ground. I glared at them as they ran off. I turned to the girl in the lake still, she was picking up her quills. I kicked off my shoes and took off my socks and robe, rolling up my dress pants quicker than you can say quidditch. I came into the lake with her and quickly picked up her floating papers and quills. I grabbed her hand and pulled her out. She had tears streaming down her face.

  "I'm sorry that happened to you, Malfoy is a dumbass." She smiled but still looked sad, she looked down at the soaking papers in her hands and sniffled. I smiled at her and got my wand. She looked scared for a second but I gave her a reassuring look.

  "Scourgify!" I said the charm and she was instantly dry, her papers and quills dry as well. I then used the spell on my legs and put my socks and shoes back on quickly. The girl thanked me and gave me a hug and quickly ran off. I smiled and grabbed my robe and jogged back to the tree to get my book. I came back to the spot where Draco was. He was still on the ground, writhing in pain.

  "Get up you cry baby." He still hadn't gotten up, he was grunting in pain. I rolled my eyes and scoffed.

  "Episky." He immediately stopped grunting and got up, dusting himself off.

  "Crabbe and Goyle wanted me to, and she's a first year Hufflepuff."

  "Those don't matter as much, she's a Hufflepuff, I was just... merely testing her willpower." He for sure came up with that on the spot. I wiggled my hand out of his grasp and looked at the long corridor I was going to walk down. I looked back at him from over my shoulder.

  "I was almost a Hufflepuff." I simply stated and walked away.

Note: oh my god I really deleted my post on accident when it was kinda popular I guess, I’m so dumb

Year: 6

House: Gryffindor

It was currently quidditch tryouts and you were shaking in your boots. You were excited to be trying out for a beater since you always wanted to be one but were scared you weren't going to make the team. You could never try out for beater since the Weasley twins were the beaters, but they were gone now and running their shop, which was great news for you.

You walked out onto the pitch with a lot of new faces but you recognized Ron and stood next to him at the front of the group. You could hear everyone clamoring and fooling around behind you. You rolled your eyes and put your arm onto Ron's shoulder, leaning onto him a bit. You saw Harry say something but you couldn't hear him well because of the noise. All of a sudden Ginny shouted.

"Shut it!" She yelled and everyone quieted down. They then explained the rules and such and then we started. People watching

from the stands started clapping but I heard an especially loud one. I looked over and saw my girlfriend, Hermione, cheering me on loudly from the stands. I smiled at her then gave her a wink to get her flustered. While everyone was preparing to get on their brooms, Cormac Mclaggen came up from behind Ron, bumping his shoulder in the process.

  "No hard feelings Weasley, all right?"

  "Hard feelings?" Asked Ron.

  "Yeah I'll be going after keeper as well, it's nothing personal." I rolled my eyes at his statement.

  "Really? Strapping guy like you, you've got more of a beaters build, don't you think?" I nudged Ron playfully.

  "Keepers need to be quick, agile." Ron continued, just then McLaggen caught a fly from midair.

  "I like my chances." I quietly scoffed at him.

  "Say, um, think you could introduce me to your friend Granger?" I looked up at him and he was staring at Hermione. "Wouldn't mind getting on a first name basis, know what I mean?" He started to walk away and I was about to say something when Ron spoke up.

  "She's got a girlfriend, mate." McLaggen stopped and turned around to look at Ron.

  "Really? Who then?" Ron then gestured to me by his side. I nodded my head.

  "What's up McLaggen." He looked at me with envy and turned away. Taking a deep breath and continuing to walk.

  Once everyone got onto their brooms we flew up into the air, splitting into two teams. I grabbed my bat quickly and looked around for bludgers. There was one flying towards a new chaser and I whacked it away. They smiled at me gratefully and moved on.

I could feel eyes on me as the bludger started to go in a circle and back to the chaser. It was a race between me and the bludger to get to the chaser. I could hear multiple people cheering after me, especially Hermione, which warmed my heart and motivated me. I got to the chaser finally and whacked the bludger away, everyone cheering louder, even thought not a lot of people came.

Finally the game ended and we all got on the ground.

"I'll let everyone know later at 7 pm in the common room." Harry said to everyone as he walked away. I turned to walk to the changing rooms and was tackled by someone. I looked down to the person in my arms and it was 'Mione. I hugged her and rubbed her back.

"I was so worried! You almost fell!" She pulled back and looked angry.

"I almost fell once." She got more mad but eventually softened up and hugged me tightly again.

"I'm so proud of you, I know you'll make the team." I smiled and felt her dig her head into my neck since I was slightly taller than her. I saw McLaggen eyeing her from near the changing rooms, he was surrounded by bimbos. Hermione pulled away and looked me up and down quickly. I smirked and pulled her to my side.
