💗 I totally agree and this applies to more than just situations with kids. I’m not saying you have to stay friends with all of your exes because some are in fact not meant to share more than a short period of time with you. This applies to the ones that you know in your heart & gut mean more. Not because you’re still in love and want them back but because they as a person can offer more to you and you to them. I currently share 10 +years of memories with my ex good, bad, horrible and great. After our break up it took sometime to adjust but we found our way to just being really great friends and sometimes beat of’. Fuck the stigma of staying friends, fuck what people say and believe to be wrong. What really matters is what feels right to you and if it feels right to keep this human associated to yourself because they bring more to you as a friend than they ever did as a partner then don’t fall for the bullshit that other people on their high horses have to tell you.
