Mokii| Anime | Just a thought

I remember when I made a post about anime on here somebody got kind of upset and tried to prove anime is better. Well, I still don’t believe so because that’s a subjective thing.

However, I have a question for anime fans; An honest one.

People tend to praise anime’s ability to make outstanding plots and art; But does that really matter unless you have good characters? Don’t get me wrong, not all anime’s have vapid characters (Fullmetal Alchemist and Kill La Kill are animes I love.) But is anime really better if a large amount of them are just oozing with tropes and moe? Doesn’t it get old?

Just want to see people’s opinions and responses is all. Btw, I don’t hate anime. I’m just not going to act like it beats other medias completely.

Mokii | Thoughts on The Election

This election was terrible. There was corruption, idiocy, excessive lying from the media and many more things that left a sour taste in America's mouth. And we just ended up with two candidates that ultimately the general public disliked. However I am slightly more pleased that Trump won. Why? Because I don't feel like getting nuked by Russia right now or anytime soon. I am also pleased that the leftists took a harsh blow that will be difficult to recover from. They are losing power, perhaps they won't completely fuck over America. And this is coming from a faggot who runs her blog with her girlfriend. Null is gay as fuck and I'm bisexual. I'm not as worried as most of the LGBTQ community to be honest because people are blowing this far out of proportion. And don't assassinate him because Pence is his VP and he'll be a hell of a lot worse than Trump with the LGBTQ community. I just feel like sitting back to see what happens with this, maybe he'll be the change we need.

Mokii | Random Thoughts 0.2 | Anime

I don't get why people say anime is better than cartoons. That's a subjective thing. People are aware anime tends to have a lower frame rate right though...? From what I have seen anime mainly focuses on faces and action scenes. Not much else. I guess that's the studios choice but still, cartoons have a tendency to lean towards using all frames. I do know however that this may change per studio. Osamu Tekuza, widely known as the godfather of anime, fucking loved Disney. It inspired him. Doesn't it seem kind of ironic to screech the superiority over a genre that you were inspired by? Not all animes are the same, but goddamn most evolved from his work and others like him. Just a little thought I had.

You know I don't get cutural appropriation. Why is it that it pretty much only applies to White people? I heard it's because the majority isn't allowed to steal the minority's culture. But aren't white people the minority worldwide? And last time I checked white people do not have white privilege worldwide so what's the deal?
