I guess the wicked king dives into a lot of politics and I never thought I had a thing for politics especially fairies politics until now. But also it's fascinating to see the helpless mortal girl from the first book to have so much power at her feet in the second. But I guess too much power can also make one lonely. I wonder if Jude ever feels lonely in the palace. She doesn't really trust anyone fully and the act of trusting someone means having a connection with someone which is crucial for humans to have. Connection with fellow humans. But jude trusts no one.
