Dragonball was a major brainrot of mine as a kid!! Been feeling sentimental about Akira Toriyama's recent passing, so I decided to rewatch some and doodle my favorite monkey boy.

Basically, I've been super busy, and have had a hard time managing this blog on top of that. Life has changed a bit for me (for the better!) but I've never been someone who is good at managing change efficiently. I have a couple things I've been meaning to post, I've just not gotten around to it!

I've made progress on the Koraidon video! I promise that's still on my to-do list, it's just been relatively low priority.

Anyway, I need to get back to work! Hopefully you'll be seeing more from me soon. ^^ Love you all!

Cringetober Day 1: Heterochromia

I'm not usually a fan of daily prompts, but I was inspired to reconnect with the flipnote era of my artistic career, which was incredibly formative for me. I haven't drawn this character in years but she still feels very familiar to me.

I'll most likely only be posting on a couple of the days. Just the ones I get a burst of inspiration to work on.

These sprites were supposed to be used for a project but, due to unforeseen circumstances, can no longer be used. I'm really happy with the work I did on these, so I went and got permission to post them, finally.

All of the 'mons and characters here (except for the old man) were designed by the very talented Greg Andrade. I'll pop down a link to his DeviantArt, where all of these designs are archived, and his Instagram, where he is currently posting on a regular basis.

I'm currently taking commissions for sprites like these!

A new badge specifically for the one commenter on my set of pride badges that was mildly offended by my choice of Purugly for the Asexual flag. Because sometimes you just gotta do something nice for a stranger.

It makes me so happy to see people tagging "I'm _____ and _____ is my favorite Pokemon!" on my pride badges! I'm actually pretty surprised by how many people are enjoying lesbian Parasect in particular. I didn't think that many people would be that excited about being represented through a parasitic fungus crab. 😂

I think there's something to be said about people on the fringe of society being drawn a bit closer to fringe characters.

For me, personally, a Pokemon being popular severely lowers my chance of liking it, even if I probably would otherwise. Eevee is cute and all but Magnemite absolutely melts my heart. Arcanine looks cool af but I'd much rather have a Magmar.

For me I don't think it's entirely LGBTQ+ related, but a combination of a number of factors, including but not limited to being agender and somewhere under the asexual umbrella. I'm just a weirdo who likes weird things and I wouldn't have it any other way. uwu

Please also understand that person has "warning: tend to overanalyze" literally in their bio. Which is exactly what they're doing.

At least they're upfront about it, lol. Plus they were being relatively respectful and not accusatory, so I don't mind. I always appreciate honest feedback.
