i am barely a writer so someone please make my vision a reality. A Midsummer Night's Dream retelling: University. The fairies' B-plot: a frat and a sorority are competing against each other, something like capture the flag, the presidents (Oberon and Titania) aren't dating but in order to distract her the frat gets the sorority pres's boyfriend stuck in the school's mascot costume. The Athenian lovers: Hermia is a STEM major and substitute her dad with the TA in her lab telling her an athlete (Lysander)(but like, a himbo not a jock)("you're too smart for him") is a bad idea and she should go for the med student that has a crush on her (Demetrius) instead, Helena is a pre-med pre-law double major (i am imagining Paris and Rory vibes for the girls here) that just wants her lab partner to notice her
