The Xianle quartet in the begining of TGCF is literally so funny to me as a concept.

Because it's literally these 3 guys who have disguised themselves from this 1 guy to go hang out with him. 2 of them know who each other is and also immediately recognised who the third guy is but don't have any proof to back it up. And the third guy also knows exactly who they are but he doesn't care and doesn't even wanna interact with them because he got beef with them.

Meanwhile the 1 guy they are disguising themselves from actually recognised them on sight because they absolutely suck at disguising themselves, but they're trying so hard and he doesn't want them to feel bad and they're also hanging out now so that's fun, he doesn't wanna ruin that.

Perciver headcanons

When Percy realized Oliver was the only other boy in their year to be sorted into Gryffindor, he was resigned to be sharing space with yet another Quidditch fanatic who’d think him “boring” and “stuck-up”.

But Oliver’s handshake was firm and he listened without interrupting for almost an hour when Percy told him all about what he’d learned in Hogwarts: A History before they went to sleep that first night.

Percy watching with grudging admiration as Oliver stays up night after night buried in piles of Quidditch-related books and statistics.

Oliver spinning great tales of games he’s watched, his face so open and earnest that Percy can’t help but catch his enthusiasm just a little.

Percy silently bringing back a cup of tea and a sandwich from breakfast to leave by Oliver’s bedside whenever Oliver’s oversleeps after staying up until 3 in the morning to write Quidditch strategies.
