Mommy & Me

Is it bad that I wanted a baby girl for this very reason!  Dressing up and being fun and girly is just a vibe.  My baby girl, Murray knows all about it and I’m just so obsessed with her!  

I made a post before featuring this cafe in Flushing, Queens called M Tea.  I wanted to go back to this place because we were only able to shoot downstairs the first time during the pandemic.  I said, I want to go to the cute little booths and have tea with my daughter, and so that’s exactly what we did.  It was so much fun.

Teatime with Tiff

To know me is to know that I love tea.  I drink it everyday and I genuinely enjoy the raw taste of it.  Meaning, I don’t add sugar or milk to it (to ruin it lol).  I learned extensive knowledge about tea at one of my previous jobs and now I find myself trying all the afternoon tea services across the city.  

I got a coupon from pulsd and had a Champagne tea with my friend Jhanna.  These blue suede boots have taken afternoon tea to a new level.  All the details on my outfit below.

New York is my Nationality

My style is ever evolving but I do notice that whatever I do choose to wear, it reflects my New York persona.  When I am feeling the chic city style or the grungy urban street wear, New York is part of my attitude and it reflects my uniform.  It is so much a part of who I am and I love it so much.

The Coffee Shop

There is nothing like a quaint coffee shop to make a writer or creative feel at home.  Even if Im not writing, coffee shops make me feel warm and welcome.  Something hot to drink awaits in these cold months and the same can be iced to adjust to summer temperatures.  I’ll have an oat milk cappuccino with a little cinnamon on top. Into the Thick of It

2021 has been quite a year.  In comparison, it was MUCH better than 2020 but it still presented its challenges.  There were a lot of lessons learned this year and I feel like I grew a lot in comparison to other years.  I am so ready to tackle this new year and really get into the thick of it.  I am no longer scared of the challenges and obstacles that life presents.

For me, 2022 will be all about self care and self love.  From those two things alone, love can pour out onto other people.  2022 will also be about intention.  I will need to match my intention and mindset to the life that I want.  These things don’t just begin on January 1, 2022.  These things have already begun and have already been set into motion.

Painting the Town Brown

As a style consultant, I am constantly analyzing style and the evolution of style.  I definitely pay close attention to the evolution of my client’s style as well as my own.  Recently I have been trying to incorporate more brown into my wardrobe because I have a lot of beige toned pieces.  Brown will perfectly accent and balance many of the army green and navy blues as well.  

My first addition has been these thigh high boots from Aldo.  I had to break them in a bit but it only took one night of wear.  They are quite the statement and I am so excited to get creative with my outfits.

Happy Day Farm

My daughter and I spent the day at the Happy Day Farm in New Jersey.  It was a really nice farm with a lot of activities for the kids.  Murray thoroughly enjoyed herself and that made me so happy.  I tried to do matching outfits so we both ended up in an all black look.  This little girl gives me so much joy!

Birthday in Montclair

Last week I celebrated my birthday in Montclair, New Jersey with my family and some friends.  We stayed at the MC Hotel and had an amazing dinner at Faubourg.  I really had an amazing time and I loved how chill the vibe was.  I also loved having my husband and daughter with me.  Turning 32 had me realizing how much I’ve grown and evolved, even in simple situations like wearing the comfortable shoes over the hot girl shoe.  Nevertheless, I managed to show out in this outfit.

The Hamptons Called

The last days of summer are escaping us quickly and I am trying to balance my wardrobe depending on the temperature.  But I actually love this time, because I feel a sense of renewal and it inspires me in so many ways.  I am recently obsessed with this knit dress from Runaway the Label.  I see this transitioning very well from vacation mode to cozy fall so I knew this would be a great new staple in my closet.

Vineyard Queen

How many of you like wine?  I love wine and so I opened up my own business with a company called ONEHOPE.  I wish that this vineyard was the ONEHOPE Vineyard in Napa Valley.  This beautiful vineyard was in Riverhead, New York.  It is called Palmer Vineyards.  Palmer Vineyards is beautiful!  The service was also amazing.  Now, for the outfit deets.

Grand Banks 

This was my second time going to Grand Banks.  I love the oysters and the ambiance but if you get sea sick then this is not the restaurant for you.  The food was okay but they didn’t have the dish that I wanted most so I was a little disappointed.  Next time I will just go for oysters.

Cherry Blossom Season

Spring time is big at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden.  The cherry blossom bloom is a must see.  It is definitely a busy season so I would advise getting there early.  That is early in the season and early in the day.  You definitely want to catch the flowers at their best so try to stay updated through the main website.  I really wanted to dress up and be extra but in normal mom fashion, I ended up wearing my sneakers, choosing comfort over excessiveness.

Black & White Inspo Part I

So recently I have switched up my Instagram account (@thetiffcompany) to fit the times and situation.  Being in a pandemic and trying to stay home is NOT going to stop me from producing content.  I love making content and taking beautiful pictures so I changed up my aesthetic a little bit and decided on a black and white theme.  I also added some elements of gold and pearls of course.  I love the old Hollywood glam effect that it is giving me.  I love the very clean finish with a little edge.  Check out my Instagram for more Inso.

My First Shoott

As a fashion blogger and stylist, it is important to do photoshoots and really pay attention to the way that fashion moves through time.  But sometimes it is hard to find a photographer to shoot with because it can be expensive and time consuming.  Sometimes its also hard bothering friends and family to take photos the way you want them. I finally found a positive solution!  A new company called Shoott.  Basically you schedule a photoshoot that is convenient to you and your time and they pair you with a professional photographer for 30 minutes. (I don’t know about you but sometimes I just need 15 minutes.). The photoshoot is free and then you for only pay for the photos that you want to keep.  The more photos you get, the cheaper they are.   I found this whole experience to be very pleasant.  Everything from my photographer, Kimberly to receiving and choosing the photos.  I was very pleased and I am ready for my next shoot.

More Plaid Please

Animal Energy

This new year has started out a little on the crazy side but I didn’t expect everything to just change and reset on January 1st.  I also didn’t expect for things to get as unruly as they did, only a week in.  No matter how crazy this year gets, I want to have the same approach to everything I do.  I want to have that animal energy.  I want to take care of my business, keep up with my blog and continue writing my scripts.  I also want to take it to the next level.  My goals are to make a notable income with my new business, start filming one of my scripts or short films and to have a post on my blog or Instagram, go viral.  I don’t want to short myself on what I can accomplish.  I’m manifesting abundance and pure greatness for not only this year, but the rest of my life.
