This is predominantly a place for posting interesting items that I'm selling on eBay accompanied by whimsical commentary and thoughts about life, the universe, and beyond. Let's just say that I took the entire Marie Kondo thing a bit too seriously and these items are the result of my endeavors. So, some of the items will be rather mundane... but others will be of interest to those who enjoy interests such as medieval history, various arts and crafts, gothic subculture, Paganism and related spirituality, cosplay, costuming, manga, LARP, Irish dance, folklore, tons of books, and such things. As stated, other items will be much more mundane like clothing of all types and sizes, electronics, toys, house decorations, vendor supplies for merchanting, urban farming supplies (fish, reptiles, rabbits, and gardening), and pretty much anything that our family isn't actively using any more that is being stored in the house. Oh, and sometimes I even sell a few antiques and handmade cultural items.

I just finished doing all of the cleaning and refurbishment on Sweet Tooth. She is is beautiful pony with bright fuchsia curly locks of hair, pretty turquoise skin, purple eyes the color of the sky at twilight (... During a late night sugar binge! Muhahahahaa!), and a a truly sweet personality that will melt your heart like candy in the sun on a warm day.
All of the work I do to restore My Little Pony ponies is focused on carefully cleaning and conditioning each pony. I’m careful to keep each pony true to how they originally appeared. This pony is just really gorgeous. I've spent countless working on her and she is now ready to be sold so that she can hopefully find a new home with someone who will love and cherish her. Am I going to far if I say that she is now looking for a “forever home?” ❤️
Admittedly, I’m extremely happy with how beautiful Sweet Tooth looks and wanted to share her with the world. 🌎
Sweet Tooth is currently for sale for $50 and includes free shipping and handling. For anyone who is interested, you can view more information on Sweet Tooth (also known as Lollipop in the UK), or to purchase her by clicking on this link.
There are also a variety of other My Little Pony’s that I have listed currently have listed for sale. All of the ponies I have listed are all Generation 1 (i.e. G1) and have been thoroughly cleaned. Some of the ponies listed are more for collectors and serious MLP lovers, but others are cheaper and great for more casual pony fans and there are others that are perfect for projects and such.
If you would like to check out more, just click on this link to go to the Magical Pony Trader. I have all different types of My Little Ponies includes Baby Ponies, Sea Ponies, So Soft Ponies, Beddy-Bye-Eye Baby Ponies (BBE), and I’m actively listing more.

This is a set of 4 vintage items from 1940's that were made by members of a tribe in Brazil. These items include one wooden long bow with its bowstring, two wood-tipped long arrows made of bamboo with helical feather fletchings with archery nocks on the end (mentioned because the last item doesn’t have a nock?), and one wood-tipped arrow (or spear?) made of reed with straight feather fletchings and no nock on the end. The entire set is being sold on eBay for $100 with free shipping to anywhere in the USA.
Please note that I don’t know the exact name of the tribe, but can provide background information (it’s approximately two full typed pages of everything I know about the items) and the chain of custody. Most likely, the source tribe was located in Rio Grande do Sul. The associated cultural information I known is that they associated with missionaries, practiced polygamy, and hunted both terrestrial and aquatic animals.

Here is a set of six vintage handmade arrows from an indigenous tribe in Brazil. The arrows were made in the 1940′s and I have tried to include lots of photos and descriptions of each one. I have been trying to get all of this stuff listed, but it has literally been taking me months because I try to be as accurate as I can with each listing. I’m selling the entire set (including free shipping within USA) for $50.

These are all of the beads that I was able to put together that were from animal claws and teeth. I don’t know what kind of animals they came from and can’t even tell you if they were aquatic or terrestrial... But, I know that they were from the tribe that my great uncle befriended and worked with (they lived on his land.) The items were most likely locally harvested from either the forested areas around Rio de Janeiro or Rio Grande do Sul. I know that the tribe lived ina forested area and that there was access to fresh water because they did a lot of spear fishing and I even have a canoe paddle (will be listing that soon too).
My mother told me that they lived in the Amazon... but I have looked at the maps and neither Rio de Janeiro or Rio Grande do Sul were anywhere near the Amazon River. There is so much that I don’t still know....
Anyway.... I don’t know how much to list as a selling price for these and have put them up for auction as a bulk lot on eBay. I set the opening price for $20 (with free shipping) because this is what I feel would be a fair minimal price. I suspect that they are worth much more but being as there are so many “unknowns” involved, I just thought I’d put it out there and let the final price be set by the people who would be interested in this stuff and can use it. Value is only determined by what someone feels that an item is actually worth to them and therefore I feel that this is probably the best way to do it.
Auction Ends: May 19, 2019 at 1:13 p.m. PDT

I listed this necklace as an auction because its in excellent condition and I have no idea how much I should sell it for.... so I figured that I’d just let people bid on it and see what happens.
It might sound strange, but I will be a very happy woman after all of this Brazilian stuff is sold and out of my house. I don’t really care about the money. Yes, admittedly our family would benefit and could use any funds received right now... but I’m really more concerned with getting it out of the house and freeing up the space. I just want this (and the other related items) to go to someone who can actually appreciate it. Personally, I don’t wear jewelry and South American art isn’t something that appeals to me. I know there are people out there who will love and cherish these items (speaking of all of the Brazilian stuff I am selling right now) and so I sincerely hope that this necklace and all the other stuff finds loving homes with people who will see their beauty and appreciate the history and workmanship.

I am trying to post some of the jewelry pieces that I have. All of the cording and beads were handcrafted by an indigenous Brazilian tribe from the 1940′s (exact date is not known and this is my best guess.... time period culd be anywhere between the 1930′s to 1970′s).
Like most of these types of items, I have absolutely no idea what I should sell them for and have listed a price based on research (i.e. trying to find other similar items from the same region and time period). So, I have listed this item for $25 with free shipping. If you think this is too low or too high of a price then please message me (even if you don’t intend on purchasing the necklace) and let me know. Kindly include a rationale with any suggestions so that I can try to modify my pricing on this and other similar items. Honestly, I am just giving my best guess....

Upcoming Stuff....
Later today, I will start working on posting some of the vintage (i.e. 1940′s to 1970′s era... but mostly 1940′s) tribal handcrafts from the indigenous peoples of Brazil / Amazon. Long story short.... My great uncle was a consulate for Brazil from 1939 to 1942 (he also worked as a consulate for Haiti and Colombia at one point too) and spent various periods of time as a missionary traveling and living intermittently in remote areas of Brazil outside of Rio de Janeiro. He owned land there that was the home of a local tribe and even as a child some of the tribal members would fly here to Florida and every few years I would get to spend time with them (Note: My grandmother told me that it was the “chief” of the tribe and his wives, but as a mature adult I don’t know if that is the correct vernacular or just how she was explaining the relationship to me.) Anyway.... My great uncle passed away in 1992 and my grandmother (his sister) donated as as much of the artwork, handcrafts, and other things that my great uncle had accumulated over the years to various museums and educational groups (i.e. contacted various departs for Anthropology, Archaeology, and Ethnology for universities and similar). There was still a large quantity of stuff that she kept to decorate her own home and as a reminder of her brother. Well, my grandmother passed away in 2008 and I ended up with the remainder of the Brazilian handcrafts. Now, I have a degree in Anthropology and was probably the best candidate in the family to receive all these things (not to mention.... no one else had the space to store them or was interested at the time) and so I ended up with all of this stuff. I have no sentimental connection to the objects, but can appreciate their worth and just want to see them find proper homes with people who have the ability to properly maintain them and will find value in their beauty. (My interests are predominantly Western European and therefore these things are just not something I’m interested in and, for me, are just taking up storage space.) I don’t have any formal documentation but will provide anyone who purchases any of these artifacts / handcrafts the name of my great uncle and the limited information that I have regarding their source. I was told by my family that most of the items (again, most but not all) were made as gifts and were therefore intended as exemplary objects that demonstrated the tribe’s artistic skills. These were intended as gifts of friendship and love for my great uncle. Keep in mind... Even though my great uncle was a missionary, he didn’t push his religion or proselytize... He tried to live life as a Christian, with sin and flaws, but loving the people and doing everything he could to help them and preserve their way of life by providing them with a peaceful and protected place to live (or at least this is what I was always told).

Yard Work Sucks
I have to mow my yard today and I really can’t explain how much I don’t want to do it. I am trying to find ways to convince myself that somehow I actually do want to do it.... I think I need a nice dose of caffeine and then I’ll work on sharpening the blade. Hopefully, that will put me in the mood.
Sometimes I like to forget that Spring cleaning is more than just cleaning the inside of the house but should also include the taming of the rebellious hedges or else I’ll risk a visit from our not-so-friendly neighborhood code enforcement. On a positive note, the recent cold front has made the outdoors tolerable and at least I won’t have to do yard work in 90 degree heat.

So, the only thing that I personally found a little odd about this item is that the front has a zipper. But, other than that, it is a very lovely choli. Yes, it might need a few minor stitches here or there, but it is in pretty good shape... keeping in mind that it is a vintage (yes, legitimately vintage because if I say it I actually mean it unlike many people who seem to bandy the term around aimlessly without seeming to understanding what it means) item. I try to be as accurate as possible when I describe an item... I think the only thing is that the color is probably not as “bright” as it looks in the photos because my camera always seems to brighten red colored things more than I like. I guess it is more of a slightly darker or dull hue of vermilion (real vermilion... more like a crimson and *not* a tomato red) if that makes sense. The embellishments are all this gold colored embroidery and trim. It’s pretty. The choli is for sale by WildZombieOddities for $5 with free shipping (within the USA).

Gorgeous handcrafted glass paperweights! I inherited these from my grandmother, who loved art and beauty, after she passed away about a decade ago. I realize that they are just sitting on a shelf and really are not anything that I will use myself and therefore I want to make sure that they are enjoyed by someone who can truly appreciate them. The paperweights are modern art glass that were made in the Murano style. I am selling them as a together as a set (i.e. both of them) for $25 including free shipping within the USA.

I made this mask a while back and it is much prettier in real life than it shows in a photo. The mask is made of plaster covered cloth and is much firmer and thicker than the play types of masks that most people use for projects like this. The mask is then covered with what resembles rose petals but has a texture that is halfway between leather and a thick suede-like fabric. There are embellishments that include pieces of square glass mirror, hand painted accents, and faux jewels. The black ribbons that you see are tied through the mask. You can wear the mask or hang it on your wall as a work of art.
The mask is for sale on eBay for $6 and includes free shipping within the USA. It is being sold by the eBay seller, CrystalDrake.

What could be more adorable than Minnie Mouse dressed as a pink witch with a yellow bat that has a horned crescent moon shaped head. I know that this is supposed to be “Halloween” related, but it makes me think more of Easter (Eostre) with the cute little basket that looks like a jack o’ lantern pumpkin. For sale on eBay for $6 with free shipping (USA only) by IvyMoonRose.
