“Kindness” covers all of my political beliefs. No need to spell them out. I believe that if, at the end, according to our abilities, we have done something to make others a little happier, and something to make ourselves a little happier, that is about the best we can do. The Death Toll of the Crimes of Capitalism

This little project is my attempt to right the imbalance of information. While many compilations of the “Crimes of Communism” exist, most notably the “Black Book of Communism”, there does not seem to be a reliable, accurate analysis of the death toll of capitalism, of the wars, oppression, slavery, violence and poverty caused by this system over the many years it has existed (from the 1500’s).

December 16, 2012 (Venezuelanalysis.com) – With all votes counted to the point of results being irreversible, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela has won 20 states, and the opposition coalition, three states.

The opposition lost their control of Zulia, Tachira, Carabobo, Monagas, and Nueva Esparta, but retained Amazonas and Miranda, and Lara states.

In Miranda, one of the key states at stake, contested by PSUV ex vice-president Elias Jaua, and the opposition presidential candidate and current governor of Miranda, Henrique Capriles, the opposition won with 50% to Jaua’s 46%.

In Bolivar state, where the results were very close, the opposition candidate Andres Velasquez is refusing to recognise his defeat and has called on locals to “defend” his “victory”.

In today’s elections Venezuelans and residents chose 23 state governors and 237 state legislators. The results of the state legislative voting have yet to be announced.

In the 2008 regional elections the PSUV won 17 of the 22 states being contested.

I just edited together my new demo reel as a director of photography! This is a small collection of everything that I've been working on for the past year and a half and is a great way to indicate where I am as an artist.  I would really appreciate it if you gave it a look, and sent me a message with some critiques on ways that it works and ways that it can improve.

The problem with the discourse situation in America is capitalism. You can make a lot of money by being an assassin. A lot of money. It doesn't matter if you're right wing or left wing, alright? If you're in and you're a hater: radio, cable, in print, whatever. You get paid. People do that. They go in, they don't even believe half the stuff they say. They just rip it up. And they get paid a lot of money. And that has coursed into everything. They're phonies. Um, and, capitalism drives that. There are people, Americans, who want to hear hate, and they hear it. That is just blowing it all up. There are no rules on the internet. None. Go listen to these comments - after this program, I'm sure there will be chat rooms about this. Wait till you see the comments, wait till you see them, alright? And that - it's not coming back, either. It's not going to get any better. But we have to live with it. Freedom of speech.
