He was a bosozoku my guy. It’s completely different from Western biker culture.

Even in its prime, casualties during skirmishes were exceedingly rare, and happened mainly on accident. Even in the game, we see Hiroko (a former bosozoku) comment on how she believes vehemently that no person has the right to take a life.

It’s important to remember, when talking about Mondo in reference to his gang, that Bosozoku is a youth subculture first and foremost. It’s literally a bunch of teenagers, primarily from ages 16-20. They aren’t going around killing people for funsies. They just race and cause public disturbances.

I’ll take this opportunity to encourage op, and everyone else in the THH fandom, to do more research on Japanese subcultures before calling other people dumb or wrong!
