I just wanted to ask, how do you make your texts small in your fics? Usually, when I write some fics, the text don’t get to the size I prefer, I know you can adjust the size big and small, but when I want to make it smaller, the font changes 😬😬 could you help me out??

hi darling .ᐟ.ᐟ i’m not the best at making tutorials , but i can try and help you out as best as i can .

for this particular font , you are going to want to make sure it is on “regular” . to do this , while you’re editing your fic , you simply press the “Aa” button on the left and press the tab that says “regular” . once you have done that , you are going to simply select all of the words/sentences you want your font to be applied to . once you select it all , there should be the options to color , bolden , and more . you are going to select the tab that says “<s>” . this toggles how large the text will be . then me personally , i also toggle italic because i like the slanted look .

this best applies to the fonts such as “lucille” and “chat” because these fonts are also small .

It should’ve annoyed Chloe, but it didn’t. Not even a little. Because on top of being brainy and freakishly good at math, you were also insanely beautiful. And kind. Like, run-to-Chloe’s-house-to-teach-her-when-no-one-else-could kind.

Her room was a complete mess between the overflowing laundry basket, the empty beer bottles scattered across the hardwood floor, and the lingering scent of cigars wafting throughout the air. Thankfully, she managed to crack the window, shove most of the sprawled out sweats into her closest, and kick her stash below her bed— all before you had arrived five minutes later.

There were black and white textbooks spread out between you both, but Chloe hadn’t looked at a single page. A single line, at that. Not when you kept leaning over like that. Not when you snickered everytime she gave a wrong answer. Like she totally wasn’t doing it on purpose, to hear you once more.

“Okay focus,” you said, tapping the spine of her notebook. “We aren’t leaving this room until you understand the difference between slope and intercept. Cmon, this is basic knowledge!” But Chloe only tilted her head, too much in a daze to completely grasp at the depth of the situation. Chloe had always knew to be more soft-spoken around you, not so straightforward. She didn’t quite understand why, but she felt herself unable to act like her sarcastic self around you. Even Chloe, has her moments though. Like now.

“Sounds kinda kinky when you say it like that.” Which earned both a chuckle and an eye roll from you. What a score, in Chloe’s opinion. Chloe caught it. “Chloe, it’s math. Not foreplay.” “Same difference.” Chloe shrugged, leaning back onto her hands, into her plush pillow. “Both are hard, and confusing.” You couldn’t take anything seriously around Price. Even when you meant it. You sucked air through your teeth, eyes darting back to the lined paper in an attempt to not laugh.

“You’re impossible.”

“And yet, here you are, in my room. Tutoring me.” Chloe chirped, her piercing blue eyes landing back onto you. Maybe it was just her, but she could feel herself warm up, especially when you’re near. “Guess i must be doing something right.”

You shook your head, but the indent engraved into your cheek lingered, and Chloe caught herself staring—again. There was something stupidly mesmerizing about the way your eyes crinkled when you laughed. How the light from her lamp caught in your hair just right. How you smelled like something warm and floral and kind, like you didn’t belong in a house like this, in a room like hers—but you were here anyway. And you chose to.

Fuck. She was screwed.

It didn’t take long until you nudged her once more, snapping her out of the seance like state she was in. A murmur fell past your lips, “Okay, no more distractions. Let’s try another one, yeah?”

But how was she supposed to stay focused when you were the distraction?

Chloe blinked back to the page, the numbers and your fancy cursive handwriting swimming on the paper like they were written in another language, but your voice grounded her—low, steady, soft, a melody wrapped in sunlight. You leaned a little closer to explain something, and she could feel the brush of your sleeve against hers, the warmth of you radiating like a quiet campfire in the middle of the cold, cluttered room. She was unfamiliar with it, but now that she wasn’t, it felt refreshing. She glanced back up, only for a second, but a second is all it took.

Your lashes fluttered against your skin as you scanned the page, and there was a little crease between your brows when you were focused. Chloe noticed, she always had. You were chewing lightly on the cap of your pen, and Chloe had to look away again before she forgot how to breathe. There was this spark about you. Not in the cliché way people say when they’re in love—but in the way morning light filters through her old old curtains, soft, smoky, and dust-speckled, like something sacred that’s not supposed to be touched. Like a dream she knew she would awake from. You didn’t belong in this room filled with ashtrays and band posters and existential dread—but you sat there anyway, legs tucked beneath you on her bed like it was the most natural thing in the world. And for once, Chloe had felt seen.

And God, the way you looked at her—like you saw her, really saw her.

It terrified her.

It thrilled her.

It made her want to be better. For once—not to prove anyone wrong— not Joyce, not David, not Well’s, but just to be worthy of sharing this space with you.
