The wind blew through the evergreen leaves above the two of you, it would have been peaceful and movie like even with the sun shining through them as you walk hand in hand, if it weren’t for the sharp chill that ran through your body.

“Cold?”

Niran asked and you shook your head.

“No.”

You were lying, he told you to bring a jacket but you thought it’d be fine, you were wearing a sweater and the sun was out. Niran rolled his eyes with a knowing sigh and you felt his warmth wash over you as he draped his own coat over your shoulders.

“No you’ll be-“

You did a double take as you realised he still had a jacket on.

“Did you wear two?”

“You get cold.” He shrugged.

The two of you stared at each other for a moment before bursting into giggles. You put your arms through the soft and warm sleeves and bask in the smell of his perfume for a moment. He hummed happily and took your hand in his, entwining your fingers. You swung your hands in rhythm to his humming as you two continued your winter walk.

You sighed as you tossed and turned in bed, the tv echoing through the room as Mako watched his late night game shows. You crawled out of the warm refuge of your blanket and padded over to Mako who was led on the sofa. A pachimari plushie dangled from your hand as you stared at your partner who turned to look at you with a deep sigh.

Mako grunted, you grinned as you went and settled yourself onto his chest, snuggling into his neck.

“You better not sleep on me.” He huffed, but his arm found its way around you.

“What’s on?”

You mumbled already sleepier than before, as Mako radiated heat all around you.

“Supermarket sweep.”

He replied whilst squishing you slightly, grabbing the remote from the table to the tv down a little as you drifted off into dreamland finally. Loud steps clunked down the stairs and a loud voice called out.

“Roadie I got the snacks!”

Junkrat yelled as he tumbled into the den. Roadhog grabbed a gear off the floor and threw it at Junkrat who stumbled back in shock until he saw you sprawled out on top of Roadie, snoring away peacefully.

“Aw you got tricked again eh hog?”

Mako grunted and adjusted you slightly to take popcorn from Junkrat.

“S’alright, they need rest.”

“You’re a sucker, Roadie.” Junkrat snorts and flops down on the floor with his back against the sofa, earning himself a bonk on the head.

“Shut it.”

Roadhog grumbled at the other junker before looking down at you sleeping peacefully on him, making him feel a little fuzzy and warm inside. He readjusted the pachimari you brought with you and watched as you held it closer to you. His face felt a little hot and he turned back to the TV, catching Junkrat grinning at him again.

Roadhog smacked the back of his head, accidentally making you stir and huffed as Junkrat took this opportunity to tease the old hog who couldn’t retaliate without waking you up.
