Top Sony’s PlayStation 5

We'll cover them in detail down below, but the short of it is the PS5 is rocking an AMD Zen 2-based CPU with 8 cores in 3.5GHz, 16GB of GDDR6 memory, and a custom RDNA two AMD GPU that puts out 10.28 TFLOPs of processing power.

In a quarterly earnings call (through Spiel Times) back in February, Sony's chief financial officer Hiroki Totoki revealed the company still has not nailed down the PS5 cost.

"It is a balancing act it is rather difficult to say anything concrete at this time period," Totoki stated. But we do understand that Sony is aiming for "the ideal balance so that we'll be rewarded in life, throughout the life span of the product."

However, Sony Interactive Entertainment's president and CEO Jim Ryan have hinted that a PS5 price tag could be closer to being determined and that the PS5 May Not have the 'lowest In a broad interview with GamesIndustryBiz, Ryan addressed speculation around the PS5 Price. While not revealing the cost, Ryan indicated the PS5 price might be a substantial hit on players' savings, and certainly not committing to beating the Xbox Series X on cost.

Chinese scientists have discovered a new sort of swine flu that could infect humans and has the potential to cause a future pandemic, according to a study published on Monday, though scientists have cautioned that the virus doesn't pose an immediate international health threat.

G4 already seems to have infected people in China. In Hebei and Shandong provinces, both areas with high pig numbers, over 10 percent of swine employees on pig farms, and 4.4percent of the overall population tested positive in a survey from 2016 to 2018.

There isn't any evidence yet that G4 could spread from person to person -- possibly the most promising sign thus far, said Carl Bergstrom, a professor of biology at the University of Washington.

However, researchers warn in the newspaper that the virus was on the upswing among pig populations, and may"pose a severe threat to human health" if not closely monitored. Transmission of the virus from pig to human may"lead to severe illness and even death," said the study, which called for greater control of the virus' spread within pig populations.

Surveillance and discovery In 2009, the H1N1 swine flu pandemic killed an estimated 151,700 to 575,400 people internationally. In the aftermath, scientists and authorities stepped up surveillance of pig populations to watch for viruses with"pandemic potential."
