Fun fact about me! I’m a year 11, so my school offers film classes, they mostly teach us about film techniques and how to write scripts. Fantastic class, I really enjoy it! So why not post my script I wrote! A bit of context, this assignment was to pick a song and create a script for a music video.I picked merry Christmas please don’t call by the bleachers!
1 EXT EMPTY STREET
WE OPEN: A long shot converting into a medium shot as JACK ANTONOFF walks on an empty street. The street lights flickering over him, as he looks around the empty street.
JACK
to the tempo of your uptight Is the flicker of a street light You know this moment don't ya And time is strangely calm now cause everybody's gone it's just you and your anger
The camera quickly pans over to a woman on the other side of the street, and then quickly turns back to a nervous JACK. The camera moves to follow behind JACK as he starts to pick up the pace, trying to get away from the woman.
JACK
Oh,golden boy, don't act like you were kind. You were mine, but you were awful every time
Cut to: A medium close up to the woman, matching the pace of JACK. The camera moves behind the woman to show JACK infront of her and her back facing the camera. Camera cuts back to a medium close up of JACK and the woman catching up to him
JACK
So don't tell them what you told me, Don't hold me like you know me. I would rather burn forever.
Very suddenly, the camera follows behind JACK as he hurries into a store.Slamming the door shut behind him. His back against the door as the woman struggles to open the door from the outside.
JACK
But you should know that I died slow. Running through the halls of your haunted home.
We get an eye level shot of what JACK sees as he takes notice of his surroundings. the store he had walked into had suddenly become a home in a blink of an eye. The light of the fireplace lighting up JACK, along with the twinkling Christmas lights along the handrails of the house and the walls. Creating a warm environment
JACK
And the toughest part is that we both know What to happened to you, Why you're out on your own. Merry Christmas, please don't call.
Camera follows JACK as he walks and sits down on an old grandfather chair in the center of the room.Facing The fireplace.
JACK
You really left me on the line, kid.Holding all your baggage. You know I'm not your father
JACK picks up an old photo next to him, putting it back.Disinterested in the boring black and white photo. Along with a red phone next to it.
JACK
Who says welcome to your uptight, While it flickers like a street light. He flickers through your damage
The camera suddenly cuts to the photo. The once boring photo suddenly turned into a photo of the woman JACK was running from. JACK seeing the change immediately gets up and takes a step back from the photo
JACK
Oh, golden boy, you shined a light on our home And at your best you were magic, we were sold. But don't tell 'em what you told me. Don't even tell 'em that you know me. I would rather burn forever.
The camera pans very quickly towards the door. Showing the woman has managed to open the door, walking towards JACK
JACK
But you should know that I died slow. Running through the halls of your haunted home.
The camera moves to a birds eye view of a nervous JACK running out the room to the closest door he sees.
JACK
And the toughest part is that we both know What happened, to you Why you're out on your own Merry Christmas, please don't call
Camera spins around JACK as he's catching his breath. The door leading him back outside.
JACK
But you should know that I died slowRunning through the halls of your haunted home. And the toughest part is that we both know,What happened to you
The camera pans very quickly towards the door. Showing the woman has managed to open the door, walking towards JACK
JACK
Why you're out on your own
The camera moves to a birds eye view of a nervous JACK running out the room to the closest door he sees
JACK
Merry Christmas, please don't call
Camera spins around JACK as he's catching his breath. The door leading him back outside.
JACK
One ticket out of your heavy gaze.I want one ticket off of your carousel. I want one ticket out of your heavy gaze.I want one ticket off of your carousel.
JACK wipes the snow off his jacket as he walks towards the street. Walking towards a red phone booth.
JACK
But you should know that I died slow.Running through the halls of your haunted home, And the toughest part is that we both know
JACK opens the phone booth and steps inside. Carefully picking up the phone and dialing a number. Camera moves to a close up of the phone in his hand and changes to a medium shot when he puts the phone up to his ear.
JACK
What happened to you, Why you're out on your own. Merry Christmas, please don't call.
The camera cuts to a hand reaching for a ringing phone. The camera moves to a medium shot to The woman JACK was running away from sitting in the chair he was sitting in before. JACK' S singing continues in the background.
JACK
Merry Christmas, I'm not yours at all. Merry Christmas, please don't call.
The camera cuts back to JACK. a long shot of him standing inside the phonebooth.
JACK
Please don't call me. Please don't call me. Please don't call me.

When you're done with the Annabelle Ward one, could you make one where the reader is having trouble sleeping, so goes into the kitchen to get water or somth at 2 am, to see George with no trousers, wearing a kiss the cook apron, humming show tunes while cooking eggs? (Sorry if its long, I just had the idea 😅) then they like talk about an upcoming case or comfort each other, idk. Just an idea!
YOU SO GOT IT STINKA BUTT, such a cute and funny story to write

Don't be silly, take all the time in the world if you need it - I was never expecting next day delivery! I like to write myself sometimes and I take aaages, no need to put any pressure on yourself to finish it with such a short turnaround, and good luck with exams!! 🩷
OH MY GOODNESS,YOUR SO SWEET😭
I tend to work on my writing during the weekends because that’s just the time when school doesn’t suck the life out of me, but of course weekends get filled up with things you have no control over as a student . So this is so sweet of you to say <3

May I ask for a George fic where instead of Lockwood and Lucy in the possession scene, it's George and the reader (could be the same case or a different one idm) I'd like a hurt/comfort but you can decide the ratio of hurt to comfort 🩷 I've loved reading your writing so far, can't wait to see what more you post :D
YOU MAY ABSOLUTELY ASK,AND THANK YOU SM YOUR THE SWEETEST
(Just to be sure, because I’m a idiot. We are talking about the scene with la Bella dame right?if not correct me 😓)

Crawling back to you.
you can tell I was listening to Cardigan and do I wanna know while writing this. ( hoziers cover! )

Listening to Kipps talk is the equivalent of nails on a chalkboard, people tend to cover their ears and cry for it to stop. So it didn't seem so exciting when you ended up having to spend time with him in the archives today. You only went to help Bobby with some research for the new case you got assigned. Walking around searching for files and books, staying close behind Kipps seemed like hell until you heard Kipps talking and walking towards a group of three in the archives. “Well done, Tony. Doing your research before the job this time.” Kat turns to you upon hearing Kipps “Hmm. Is it Tony? Or is he Andrew now?” you pop out behind Kipps, honestly just curious to see what the big fuss was about. “Keep it down, Kipps. This is a library, not a braying gallery for bellends.” you drowned out the rest of the conversation. Staring at the boy in the group, Lockwood and co. Only taking your attention off the boy when you suddenly heard the loud sound of a rapier being thrown up to the ceiling. And the sight of a smirking boy you could only assume to be Anthony Lockwood looking quite proud of himself to Kipps in his place. Aside from The blast to Kipps's ego, everyone was all right. Leaving the boy with glasses and the girl to scramble to get their stuff and leave. As the three of them walked away, you couldn't help but turn back around to have one last look at the boy. Only to find he was looking back at you, before quickly turning back to his friends. Ignoring the lingering feeling of your eyes on his back.
When your supervisor sent you out to the Fittes furnaces to drop off some files, you didn't think much would happen. A walk, maybe some boring paperwork, and then walk back home. That was all. So when you entered the lobby of the Fittes furnaces and were met with those familiar curls you saw a couple of days ago, you assumed it was fate. Pushing that thought aside, you strategically tried to figure out a way to get this boy to have a conversation with you, without seeming creepy of course. “...You're the guy I saw at the archives. Something about a braying gallery for bellends?’ the boy quickly turned around. Pushing his glasses up, looking you up and down “ I believe that was directed at Kipps.” you chuckled “ I don't blame you. He tends to have that effect on people. Annoyance.” the boy gave you a small smile and went back to whatever he was doing. You didn't pay much attention, perhaps you came off as rude for interrupting him, but you didn't care. You were desperate to talk to him. “ I don't think I was told your name.” “It's George. I would have assumed Kipps would have gossiped about it to you by now.” you smiled “He might have, I need a face to remember the name.”
The next time you saw George was during a case. A small home with a possible type one. It was supposed to be a simple case. So when you were running to grab your rapier in the middle of the case and accidentally ran into george. It was a bit of a startle. You crashed into him, making you fall to the ground, along with him. Ignoring your bloody hand from the fall you looked up. “George? “ he looked up, scurrying to grab his stuff. “oh, it's you again” ‘What are you doing here?” you asked. Taking the hand he extended offering to help you out. “I'm on a case, which seems you are as well- your hand is bleeding” You looked down at your hand, the blood dripping onto the hardwood floors of the house. “Ah. I must have cut my hand on my rapier when I fell.” you walk to your bag, grabbing some gauze you packed specifically for moments like these. You let out a hiss while applying pressure to the wound. “I'm sorry. I didn't see you- here.” George reached out for your hand. The gauze was filled with blood at this point. Painting your hand and his with your blood. The smell of the metallic liquid making you queasy. “ You're turning white,” George says looking up at you. “I'm fine, I'm just-” you glanced down at your hand “I'm no good with blood.” he gave you an odd look “You're an agent but you can't handle blood?” you both chuckled. George noticed the gauze was completely useless at his point, with more blood than cotton. “Got any more?” you remembered back to all the times you had to use your stuff because Bobby made a stupid mistake and got injured during a case. “ I don't think so” George looked around, looking for anything to soak up the blood. “ uh- here,” he said, taking off his flannel, wrapping it around your hand. After that day you and George seemed to bump into each other much more. Seeing each other in stores, sidewalks, the archives. Always stopping to talk to each other. Causing you two to just start planning to see each other.
Portland Row was always a comfortable place. The smell of tea and the loud clanging of rapiers meeting each other was comforting to George. He sat on the kitchen table, mixing the spoon in his tea. The oat milk carton sitting in front of him. He recently started drinking his tea with oat milk due to your suggestion. At first, he was appalled that tea could be made with anything but whole milk, but he came around to it. “Oatmilk?” questioned Lockwood. “I know. I should be thrown into prison, but I quite like it.” Lockwood chuckled and grabbed the milk carton. Putting it back in the fridge. “ me and Luce were planning on goi-” George interpreted him. “I can't. I have plans, I'm going to the archive soon.” Lockwood gave him an odd look “By yourself? Won't you be lonely?” George looked back down to the newspaper he was reading. “I won't be alone.” Lockwood sat down in front of George. “... you know you've been out with that fittes girl a lot lately. Are you sure you're not planning on leaving us, George?” George scoffed. “ and deal with Kipps? I'd rather you shoot me.” Lockwood chuckled”.... She seems eager to know you.” “She is a very eager person I suppose.” Lockwood rolled his eyes. “ that's not what I mean... She seems to enjoy your company. And from what I can see you enjoy hers.” George folded his newspaper and sat it down on the table. “.. I don't like what you're implying.” Lockwood laughed and smiled at George” All I'm saying is that... You should notice the way she looks at you as if she's planning the wedding in her head already.” “Don't be ridiculous.”
“ Do you like me?” you nearly choked on your drink hearing George say that. Whipping your mouth and keeping your composure you respond.” that's awfully blunt” George shrugged” I suppose. But you're avoiding the question.” you and George are currently sitting on a blanket. Sitting upon a hill, giving you two a nice view of London. You decided to take the fool approach. Taking a sudden interest in the strawberry in your hand rather than George.” of course I like you, George, you're a good friend.” George suddenly took the strawberry from your hand. Placing it back on your plate. “That's not what I meant. If you like me, then I think we should stop meeting up like this.” your heart dropped down to your stomach. Not only afraid of not seeing your crush again, but the thought of losing a friend seemed so awful to you. “ Where is this coming from? George I do-” “I need a yes or no.” putting together all your courage. You inevitably decided you'd rather lose George than force him to be with you, knowing he wouldn't want to.”...yes george. I do like you.” George gave you a look, not of disgust but of regret for what he was going to do. “...right then. I suppose I should get going then.” as George walked down the hill, you watched him. Leaving you sitting on a blanket. Two cups, two plates, food for two, but one person.
“For Christ's sake George. Get out of the house!” Lucy says watching a somber George look out the window. “What's going on with him?” Lucy said looking back to Lockwood. “ he messed up with the fittes girl and I suppose he's in mourning for what could have been?” George quickly looked back at the two of them. Sitting on the couch in front of him. “I am not in mourning!” “But you do miss her?” said Lockwood. That shut George up. Lockwood chuckled, “Do whatever you need to feel better, just don't dig yourself too deep.” Lockwood walked off to the kitchen leaving him and Lucy. After a while, Lucy got sick of George's sighs. “God george. Would you just tell the girl sorry! “ “I have nothing to apologize for,” he said, rolling his eyes. “ Well, you obviously like this girl. You like her enough to push her away I suppose. What I don't understand is why you won't let her in. She's a lovely girl! She's smart, she's funny. Are you truly so dense you can't figure out that you love her? All you've been doing is trying to find flaws in her so you have an excuse to leave! Or maybe you're just scared. Scared you found no flaws. And scared of how she makes you feel.” Lucy got up and went into the kitchen. Letting George sit in his thoughts. Just before Lucy could make it to the kitchen, she heard the loud noise of the front door slamming. Lockwood peeped his head out the kitchen, seeing George's shoes were gone “Where is he going?” Lucy walked into the kitchen “ Ever seen the notebook?”
Georges heaving was all he could hear while he ran. The loud sound of his heart pumping was in his ears. He didn't even know he could run that fast. Running as fast as his legs could take him to your apartment. He got to your front door. The front porch light stinging his eyes. You've been haunting all of his whats-ifs. He didn't even know what he would say to you if you even opened the door. He knocked on the door. Trying to control his heavy breathing. When you opened the door, he stopped. He didn't know what to say. He assumed the words would come to him, like those films you two would watch together. A part of you knew what he was here for. You have missed him of course, but having him actually in front of you seemed so daunting.
“Crawling back to me, are you?”
“...it feels like that's all I've been doing lately.”
You smiled at him. “.. would you like to come in” George looked past you into your apartment. It seemed very tempting to go in with you. Go back to normal. But George didn't want to go back to normal. “I'm in love with you, and-..I'm sorry for leaving you there. I got overwhelmed and I-” you cut George ranting with a kiss. Pulling him in by the collar of his shirt. You somehow managed to get yourself to pull away, “ you don't need to apologize to me, George. I forgave you the moment I opened the door..now would you like to come in?” George must have still been in a state of shock. His eyes lingered on your lips.”... yeah. Yeah. I would like that.” you smiled and opened the door a little wider for him to walk in.

Okay random idea like George x a reader who is a researcher for Fittes on Kipps’ team. Like they first meet when they’re at the archives in episode two and the reader thinks he’s cute like she’s like an icon or whatever. And she’s like “yeah he’s gonna be mine”. And they keep running into each other and yeah. I kinda rambled but I hope you like this idea!!
NO CHAT LET ME COOK, give me time and I’ll write this.🙏

What sort of George fic ideas are you looking for 👀? Like do you have preferences with what you write, whether its romantic or platonic relationships, or if you like fluffy over angsty - that sorta thing!
I honestly don’t mind, I haven’t written smut so that might be the one thing that I say hold back on for a while until I’m confident enough to write. any other ideas would be great though!
