Not supposed to be here

Caution: implied death mentions

Villain, hovering above the sky, screams of agony and chaos can be heard echoing from the crumbling building, watching their work proudly come into place.

They then saw something caught their eye on a building window, someone inside the building with a bright color outfit rushing room to room with speed looking for something, wait could that be...

Hero, Hero came to save the day from the building that is about to fall, No.. it can be, why are they here? It's supposed to be Superhero who should show up- but why does it have to be them?

Hero, looking for any civilian who needed help, decided to go on the roof building, hoping that they could find someone to save, instead they meet someone else, someone who is responsible for this chaos.

Villain, with a hover board goes down to hero's level, Hero then immediately went on a defense stance

"Villain, if you're here for a fight I don't have time for it"

"You shouldn't be here Hero, I expected someone else to show up and that person is not you."

Hero is about to argue when they hear cries somewhere down the (n)th floor, Hero immediately takes action to go down but then Villain steps in and blocking Hero's path, Hero tries to go sideways but Villain persists on blocking their way.

"Villain, get out of my way"

"Hero, enough of your heroic act and back away now."

"Are you seriously asking me to stand by and do nothing?"

"I meant that this place is going down, no use of saving anyone in there"

"Someone could be trapped there between the floors, begging for help."

Hero is about to take action but then villain clamped on Hero's both shoulders, forcing them to face villain.

"I'm serious Hero, you're risking your life, this building will soon fall if you don't back down!"

"You're the one who caused this disaster so why do you care?" Hero glares at them

"Because it's not meant for you and yet you came anyway."

"I don't give a crap about who you're waiting for! I need to save someone in there!"

Hero slapped villains both hands away, they use their super strength to punch the roof floor beneath them and falls down to a lower level to find someone.

"Hero! Urgh-- you can't keep doing this!"

Villain hovers down to follow Hero somewhere in the building, while Hero is running to look for someone, an explosion suddenly blasted on the outside wall, revealing Villain themselves

"Villain! Stop following me and get out of here!"

"No, I will not stop till you get out, please leave, it's for your own safety!

"You care way too much for your enemy, for someone like you responsible for this.. is this a way of regretting your actions?"

"Because it is not meant for you! I don't understand why you're risking your life for these pathetic civilians who don't even care about you."

"Well i care!"

Suddenly something interrupted them, a loud explosion coming from below, the floor starts to shake making Hero crouch to avoid swaying a little, the floor breaks and the building crumbles along the Hero inside, the Villain panics and flees away from the building but then thinks again and went back to save Hero but the building is already collapsing making hero stuck somewhere inside.

"Hero! HERO!"

Villain is desperate to save them but then ashes and debris scatters and flying, making it harder to come close to hero.

A few minutes after the fall of the building, smoke and dust surrounds everywhere, ambulance and firetrucks are in the scene, Villain hid somewhere on the smokes so no one can see them, Villain tries their best to look for Hero, calling out their name, hoping that they'll hear their screams or pleas, they're probably unconscious and couldn't hear them so Villain kept searching, not knowing that somewhere beneath the debris, an exposed arm, large crimson pools on its surroundings, unmoving.

In the Forcefield

This story was rewritten THREE TIMES, also there might be some grammar mistakes

[ Hero, Other Hero, Villain and Multiple Other Villains ] Gender Neutral

Caution : Implied Abandonment, Bleeding, In a verge of passing out

Another night for patrolling, Hero can't shake off the memory that night before, they curse themselves for letting the villain escape, cringing from that memory, they brushes it off, telling themselves to just focus on their patrol..

Hero kept on walking, looking on nooks and crannies for anything suspicious but then they stopped at a particular warehouse that is seemingly abandoned, they could have sworn they heard faint voices coming from it.

"Should I investigate? Or.. Not?" Hero thought

Eventually, curiosity took over, Hero went closer to the entrance of the warehouse, what they saw were multiple people gathered at the center inside, Hero recognized one of them as the same Villain they fought the other night. Realization hits them that this place is gathered with multiple Villains.

They seem to be having a meeting, Hero wanted to eavesdrop just in case it's something serious, but Hero couldn't interpret what they're saying.

Luckily the large sliding door is slightly open, Hero sneakily went inside and hid behind one of the large shelves, in the shelves, there are multiple strange devices and a bunch of reactive chemicals, Hero definitely doesn't want to touch any of that.

They heard that the Villains are scheming to invade the Superhero headquarters, capture every hero on the list that poses a threat to Supervillain's plan and then destroy the place, with it, nothing can stop Supervillain.

Hero is too stunned about their plan and wanted to get out of here as soon as possible to warn their colleagues about the villains scheme, but in the process, Hero accidentally nudges the shelf causing the items on it to collide with each other, making a noise.

"Huh, what was that?" One of the villains said

Hero panics and goes to a different shelf to hide so that they don't get caught, making another noise...

"Everyone! Search the warehouse! We cannot have a possibility that there's someone going to snitch our plan!"

All the villains spread out, Hero makes a move and tries to sneak out to the entrance but in the process, one of the Villains sees a movement behind the shelves.

"Oh no you don't"

The shelf suddenly glows red and lifts up hanging in mid air, revealing Hero In front of everyone, Hero lets out a panic gasp as they have been discovered.

"YOU! You've been eavesdropping on us?!" Leader said

"I don't think I'll let you do your grand scheme villains!"

"Everyone! Capture them!"

All the villains run towards the hero

Hero materializes a forcefield around them and expands it to push the villains away, all of them are knocked back.

Hero runs towards the entrance but the door suddenly shuts closed, locking them inside.

"You Cannot escape knowing our plans!"

"We'll see about that" the Hero said

Hero faces the villains and positioned themselves into a fighting stance, forming a magic field around their fists and then fights them.

The fight took a while, everything in the warehouse is upside down, some shelves are on the ground with some of its contents broken, chemicals spills on the floor, spreading everywhere which everyone didn't notice until it's too late.

One of their abilities corrodes into the chemicals which causes a chain explosion, all of them got knocked back from the Force of the explosion, some of them got minor injuries.

The damage of the warehouse was so much that it began to shake, the ceiling started to crack due to the supports being damaged, few debris falling above them.

"We need to leave! this place is going down!" One of the villains said

" *Frustrated groan* We'll be back to get you Hero! You may have destroyed our equipments for the scheme but we have a backup plan! Until next time!" The Leader yelled just as before they got out of the place.

"Wha?! Hey! wait for us!" Other yelled

"Then run if you all can! Not my problem if you get stuck there!"

Some villains manage to get out, just as the hero is about to get out as well, a large chunk of falling debris suddenly blocks the entrance, trapping Hero inside the crumbling warehouse.

"No! This can't be!" Hero yelled as they tried to remove the large debris blocking the door

"You're not the only one who's stuck here" said a voice coming from behind them...

Hero looks back only to see an awfully familiar face, the villain that they failed to capture last time...

"You?! Out of everyone why did it have to be you!?" Hero yelled in an angry tone

"Quit your complaints and maybe just think of a way to get us out of here"

"You have telekinesis, you used to expose me in front of your buddies, so shouldn't you be the one who can remove the rubble?"

"I know, but I can't do this alone can I?"

"Ugh, fine I'll help you.."

Hero then tries to clear the rubble blocking the door while Villain uses telekinesis to remove the larger ones.

Suddenly the entire ceiling finally breaks down and falls on top of them, Hero reacts immediately and starts forming a forcefield large enough for both Villain and Hero inside, shielding them from the falling ceiling, Villain is in awe since they've never been inside the forcefield..

The process of forming the forcefield is slow, few debris manage to get in, some are large and hits Hero, pinning them down, just as the force field is fully formed.

The walls of the warehouse are all destroyed and the door is completely blocked by other larger debris, surrounding the forcefield.

Hero groans in pain but tries to keep the force field up, otherwise they'll both crush to death.

Villain notices and helps Hero remove the large debris, when they did, Villain lets out a silent gasp when they saw hero's deep wound on their abdomen, Villain moves them in a comfortable position.

"My... Hero you look busted!" Villain says sarcastically, masking their worried tone

"You're saying as if we aren't in dangerous circumstances..."

"Yeah yeah, just sit pretty while I try to get us out of here"

Villain attempts to remove the debris outside the forcefield but some of it are too big for Villain's capability.

"Don't you have anything to call your friends or something? my powers aren't enough to remove all of them you know"

"I can't.. my communication dropped somewhere during our fight and most likely crushed in the rubble.. what about your villain buddies? Why don't they help you?"

"Hmph, we aren't buddies and I doubt they'll risk their lives to save me.."

"Whoa..You have a sad life, Villain..." Hero said with a slight concern in their voice.

"Well.. I think it's better being stuck with my Arch nemesis than my own comrades" Villain smirked, trying to take things positive.

Hero cringes on what Villain said, ignoring the pain in their abdomen, they suddenly remembered that they don't have anything to call for help, leaving it with the possibility that they'll be stuck here for a while..

Villain still tries their best to remove the debris to clear the way out, they manage to clear some while Hero keeps their force field active to keep the ceiling from crushing them.

With the literal ceiling just right above them and their surroundings are nothing but rubble, the only light source is just Hero's forcefield and Villain's telekinesis.

A few minutes later Villain starts to get exhausted, with their head throbbing from using their powers and their arms getting droopy for beings in the same position for a few minutes, they notice that the force field surrounding them slowly fading and flickering, indicating that it will soon disappear.

Villain worries and looks at Hero to see them now on a lying position, gasping for breath and is groaning in pain, with their hand clutching on the wounded area while the other hand is twitching from exhaustion but still keeps the forcefield active.

Villain stops their doing and sits next to Hero. picking them up into their arms to try to ease their pain.

"Hey hey, it's okay hero... well get off here soon.."

Villain could no longer hide their concerns towards Hero.

Hero didn't like that sudden comfort from their enemy but the pain was unbearable so they let them.

"Look I'm trying my best to clear out the rubble as possible so can you please stay with me for a little? Can you do that?"

"I'm trying..." Hero said with a raspy voice

"And stop pretending that you care... we're enemies remember?"

"I know but I don't like you seeing this vulnerable, so just.. let me help you" they said genuinely

" If you want to help me... then do something to lessen the pain... it hurts..."

Villain then awkwardly moves Hero into a more comfortable position to let their head rest on Villain's arm.

"Is that better?" Villain Murmurs

"A little..." Hero said, barely a whisper

Villain caresses Hero's forehead to comfort them, it's the least thing they could do from this situation.

Villain suddenly saw a light coming from the other side of the debris, it's like someone is holding the flashlight looking for something..

Villain thought that they're just someone probably investigating this recently destroyed place...

"Hello? Is anyone trapped there?" They asked

Hero immediately recognized their voice, it's their friend 'Other Hero'

"Villain... my friend is here... t-tell them..." Hero said weakly

"I can see a faint light in there! Is someone actually there?" They yelled

"Yes! And we need help! plus your Friend Hero is stuck here too.." Villain said

"Hero?! They're in there?! Are they alright?!

"Yes they're fine... but in terms of their condition they don't seem so and probably need medical attention.."

"I'll try to do something to get you both out, hang in there!" They said as they begin to remove debris outside the forcefield.

"Ya hear that Hero? your friend is helping us out of here" Villain said cheerfully

Hero only replies mumbles as their eyes begin to flutter like they were about to sleep from tiredness.

"Don't you dare close your eyes Hero" Villain lightly shakes Hero to wake them up from their possibly near 'death', Hero groans in reply.

"Just please.. stay with me Hero, don't go just yet..." villain whispers

While Other Hero is doing their thing, Villain suddenly hears a noise above them, a few small chunks of debris gets inside the forcefield, Villain looks up only to see many few debris entering the forcefield and larger ones slowly creeps through the layer of the forcefield.

"Hurry up out there! I don't think your friend will make it if you're that slow!"

" I'm trying, just be patient"

"Patient? We've been stuck here for a while now, Hero's force field is what keeps us from being buried alive, Their condition seems to be getting worse and you're telling me to be patient?!"

"Well.. fair enough, but I'm almost done here" Other Hero said

When the other hero manages to clear the debris for them to escape, Villain is about to stand up when the forcefield suddenly gives up and disappears, making the debris and the ceiling fall down above them.

Other Hero panics and uses their ability to delay the fall of the large debris above Hero and Villain

"R-Run!" Other Hero yelled keeping up their ability

Villain immediately picks up Hero in bridal carry and Runs on the cleared pathway, Other Hero let go of their ability and everything falls down.

"Are you two all right?" Other Hero said

"Well yes.. but to Hero.. not so much..." Villain

looks at the Hero in their arms to see them fully unconscious and their breathing is shallow...

Villain sets Hero down so that they could examine their wound

"How did.. Hero ended up looking like this?"

"I uh.. Let's just say they got hit from the debris"

Other Hero glares at Villain then looks at Hero but then looks at Villain again...

Other Hero then Picks Hero up into their arms then looks at Villain with a dubious glare

"If Hero tells me a different story instead of ''they got hit by the debris'' thing, I'm going to make sure you'll regret that! You looked like a person responsible for this" Other Hero said with a harsh tone

"Hmm~.. you sound threatening for a person who didn't manage to beat Other Villain that time" they smirked

Other Hero didn't reply in annoyance as they carry Hero back to the SuperHero Headquarters, leaving Villain behind, although they do wonder how the Villain knew about that, have they met them?

Ice vs Machine

Hello I'm quite new posting my writing content here so yeah, you may see some grammatical errors

[ Hero vs Villain ] Gender Neutral

Caution :

The story might not good, I'll redo it nextime...

Beating, In a verge of passing out

The sound of the machine clanking can be heard all over the city, citizens are scattered and screaming while Villain causes a lot of property damage using their giant laser powered by their electricity coursing through the machine.

Once Villain is done clearing the path 'it means by destroying the buildings that "blocks" the path, leading to the Superhero's Headquarters.

the machine begins to move forward, with each of its four legs stomping, the ground vibrates.

But a sudden obstacle blocked Villain's path, that obstacle is Hero, Hero showed up to stop Villain's evil scheme

"Villain stop this destruction! You're going to hurt a lot of civilians!"

Villain hums "it doesn't seem like civilians are getting caught in my laser, even before I hit them they already ran!"

Hero forms an icicles in the air and started casting it towards the tip of the of the machine which is were the laser forms, but before Hero's icicles hit the Villain's machine, the machine shoots it's lasers and melts through some of Hero Icicles, Hero dodges the lasers.

They form another multiple icicles, with each creation continuously heads towards Villain's machine, upon contact the machine slowly starts to freeze, even with this the Villain isn't fazed and they started to course their electricity directly into the core and the machine started to heat up causing the freezing areas to warm up and melts the ice but it did leave some of those areas dented which when Villain notices, it irritates them a little bit causing them to put a little more effort to stop Hero.

Villain started to blast barrage of lasers to Hero where it made Hero break their fighting stance and started moving to avoid the lasers, they tried to find the right time to cast icicles to Villain but it seems they wouldn't stop shooting at them anytime soon.

While running, Hero forms a single icicle that is bigger than their previous icicles and casted it towards where the core of the should be.

Villain didn't have time to melt the incoming icicle so instead they ducked and expected their machine to break, but with the hero running the icicle didn't manage to hit the core since it made a curve turn and hits in a different spot.

Villain open their eyes and darted around to see what are the damages only to find that the side of the machine's content is exposed, it starts to overheat until a huge bright, dome like explosion burst from the machine and engulps Villain, their machine and Hero.

When they both come to their senses, they realize that they are not in the city anymore, Instead, it must have teleported somewhere in the green grass plains just outside the city, with the forest surrounding it, Villain never thought the machine could do that

Villain suddenly heard a faint hiss coming from the machine, it's shaking uncontrollably until it finally collapsed due to extreme damages. Villain jumped out of the way to avoid being buried alive, They now is fueled by anger.

"HERO! What have you done!? Do you have any idea how hard I worked just to make this machine up and running!?"

"Well as a hero it's my job to stop you causing harm to innocent civilians and the city!"

Villain doesn't seem to be paying attention to Hero's speech and started to head towards to Hero with their hands surrounded by electricity

"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS! HERO!"

Villain lunges at Hero with their electrified fists, Hero swiftly dodges every punches thrown at them, Hero started to freeze the ground which caused villain to back away a few distance apart from Hero, with the ground being frozen and slippery Villain can't break their distance to Hero without slipping so instead Villain started to cast electric thistles at Hero, Hero was caught off guard they never expected Villain can fight at long range, with this Hero was caught from one of Villain's electric thistles and fallen to the ground hard gasping for some air, clutching themselves to ease the pain.

With Hero no longer supports their ice magic the ground that was frozen melts, Villain takes a step forward to hero, with a loud groan Hero tries to stand up only to be pushed back in place by Villain's boot pinning them on their back, Villain gives them another shock and Hero's screams echoes throughout the field, with a grin on their face they raise their hand with electrified fist ready to strike Hero.

"Any Last Words Hero?"

Hero can barely speak with Villain pinning them on their back, air barely enters their lungs, all they can do is gasping for air.

"Hmph, it seems like you don't have one, Oh well so long Hero——

With the sound of a metal shuffling, a piece of metal emerges from the rubles of what was once Villain's machine launches towards them, their sentence was cut short, Villain's body slumped down, unconscious, Hero tries to look at their savior, or at least they thought someone is saving them but with a lack of oxygen earlier their vision is quite blurry plus with a throbbing headache.

They can hear someone approaching, Hero attempts to stand up again but the pain is too much to bear that they collapsed on the ground, they hear a voice calling out to them, they sounded worried but Hero couldn't interpret a single word of what they said until they felt an arms wrapped around them and positioned them where Hero's head rests on someone's chest and mumbling something...

"It's okay hero, they won't hurt you anymore" they cooed, Hero attempts to open their eyes, the person smiled at them.. with the familiar mask on their face.

The Alley

Hello! This is my first time posting my writing here so yeah, there may be some grammatical errors since english isn't my first language

[ Hero, Other hero vs Villain ] Gender Neutral

In the night, there are two heroes doing on their night patrol, they were walking together, although they aren't supposed to be in the same street but Other hero went with Hero anyway since the street that Hero is patrolling leads to the other street where Other hero should be patrolling.

The streets are quiet and dark, so dark that a street lamp is the only light source, a slight movement and the silence would be disturbed.

Once they reached the border of the street, Other hero waved them goodbye and headed to the other street while hero went back into their street to patrol, a few minutes has gone by, a sound can be heard behind hero, it sounded like someone is shuffling on... something, hero followed the sound and they stopped near an alley where the sound also stopped.

Hero peeks behind the wall to see what or who is causing the noise only finding out it was Villain, Hero didn't immediately got out of hiding and confront them, not yet, hero needs see what Villain is up to first, but when Hero sees Villain hid something behind their back Hero finally got out of hiding and face villain.

"Villain! What are you doing?"

Villain didn't flinched at hero's question nor look back at them, they just stood there at the dark alley doing their thing.

When Hero moved closer they can barely see Villain's outfit, they're wearing a crismson mask that seems to be shaped like a "V", black clothes, with crimson gloves, boots and their cape.

"Took you long enough, goody-two-shoes"

"Whatever your trying to hide bring that back"

"Well if you want to find out, you have to catch me first!"

Before Hero can give chase, Villain volted out and in the process their cape smacked at Hero's face and almost tumbled over, Hero gives chase in the middle of the road and follows villain, Villain accidentally leads Hero to an alley that seems to be a dead end, Villain is cornered at the wall and forced to face hero to defend themself.

"You cannot get away now Villain!"

Hero materializes a force field that looked like a shield similar to their badge on their chest, 'hopefully enough to knock out Villain and then hand them to the authorities' Hero thought, They swung their fists towards Villain but suddenly, Villain run onto the wall and jumped at full speed landing behind Hero few feets apart.

"Ya like my moves Hero?"

Hero was dumbfounded by the Villain's reflex, They heard something clanking behind them, when Hero turns around, a solid object hit them on their head and their vision starts to spin, hero stumbled and hit the ground hard, swirling stars circling around their head and faint black spots on their vision, moments before they completely passed out villain is already long gone and went off somewhere else along with the stolen item with them.

Hero hears a familiar voice calling out their name, sounding worried or concernd about them, Hero figured that they must have past out since when they opened their eyes the first thing they saw was Other hero towering above them with a worried look of expression.

"Geez hero I thought something bad happened to you when you didn't wake up, you made me worried sick"

Hero thoughts that hopefully the authorities wouldn't know about this that they let the villain escape otherwise their salary would've cut short.

Other Hero's POV

After Other hero waved their goodbye they headed straight to patrol the street, few minutes has gone by they heard a faint shuffling that seems to be coming from the street where Hero was patrolling, a few moments they heard a faint materializing sound, 'that must be Hero' Other hero thought.

Other hero heard another faint materializing sound again, 'should I help them?' No, maybe Hero can handle that to themselves if they didn't want to ruin Hero's spotlight when it comes to fighting criminals Other hero thought, their thought is interrupted when they saw a silhouette jumping on roof to roof.

Their cape reflects a red color from the moonlight, certainly not hero so what happened to them? Other hero rushes back to the street where hero was in and looked around in every each corner to find Hero, when they do find Hero, they're lying on the ground passed out, Other hero rushes to their side and starts shaking them to wake up, Hero let out a small groan and slowly opens their eyes to see Other hero

Other hero asked of what happened to them and how they passed out, then hero explained that the villain has escaped and failed to capture them

"Can we... keep this a secret?" Hero said "I've failed to capture them and who knows what they're up too by now.. I'm sorry.."

"Yeah.. your secret is safe with me"
