The fact that the new Life Series is happening during the Crane Wives tour is such a funny coincidence to me. Like I don't know if these two groups of people are even aware of each other's existence, or the way their fan bases overlap. But the new season and the tour are happening at the same time!

Ok so I have two theories for the new life series! (and I don't really expect either of them to be right, but):

1. Some sort of return to past seasons' mechanics, with the backwards ticking clock and all. What makes me doubt this is that Wild Life was very similar in concept, plus the fact that there've only been six previous seasons, not counting the specials, so that's only six episodes worth of mechanics.

2. (I like this one more) A return to Evo. Switching versions in some capacity, maybe even going backwards. The watcher symbol and the purple eye makes me think this could be a possibility. My doubt here is that Grian barely ever even mentions Evo? Like the reason the Secret Life statue was so exciting was because the man - to my knowledge - has only ever mentioned the watchers or Evo lore a couple of times since the series ended, and never during the Life Series. (I could be wrong on that last point, I don't have the best memory)
