Containing the chest : The chest is above the heart. The chest should neither be straight nor concave, but should be relaxed downwards, with the shoulders slightly forward and together. This is called Containing the chest. Only those who can contain the chest can circulate qi with the heart.
Pull the back : Divide the waist spine (the life gate) into two, and pull it up the back to the spine between the shoulders, as if it is bulging. The shoulders should be flexible and you should not lower your head. This is called pulling the back.
Crotch wrapping : The two knees are used for force, with an inward meaning. No shape is used. The two legs are unified as one leg, and the real and fake can be distinguished. This is called crotch wrapping.
Protecting the spleen : The two sides of the ribs are slightly retracted, and the posture of contracting downward and closing forward is taken, and the internal feeling is loose, fast and full, which is called protecting the spleen.
Lifting the top of the head : The head and neck are upright, neither low nor high, with the spirit concentrated on the top of the head, lifting the whole body . This is called lifting the top of the head.
Hanging crotch : Use force with both thighs, push the arms forward, intend to move the waist and spine downward, and move the root of the spine forward to lift up the lower abdomen, with the lower abdomen having the tendency to flip up, which is called hanging crotch.
Relax your shoulders : Use your mind to relax your shoulders, let the qi sink downwards, and add the word "calm" to your mind. This is called relaxing your shoulders.
Sinking elbows : Use your mind to guide the energy through your elbows. Your wrists should be flexible, with the tips of your elbows often drooping. This is called sinking elbows.
Tengnuo : Having the intention to move but not moving, that is, the momentum of pre-movement, is called Tengnuo.
The center of the coccyx : the thighs are strong, the buttocks are retracted forward, the root of the spine lifts the Dantian ( lower abdomen ) forward, and the root of the spine and the big vertebra are in a vertical line, which is called the center of the coccyx.
Qi sinking into Dantian : If you can keep the tailbone in the middle, hold the chest in, protect the spleen, relax the shoulders and hang the crotch, you can use your mind to send air to the abdomen and not let it float up. This is called Qi sinking into Dantian.
Distinguish between the real and the fake : The real and fake legs must be distinguished. The fake does not mean that they are completely powerless. The real point on the ground must have the momentum to move. The move means that the fake leg and the chest are attracted and connected. Otherwise, it will be heavy. The real does not mean that you are standing still. The spirit is in the real thigh, supporting the whole body, and there must be a sense of lifting. If you can't distinguish between the fake and the fake, it will become double.
Gathering Qi in the waist and spine: Relax your shoulders and use your mind to sink the Qi to the back. From the shoulders, gather the Qi to the spine and gather it in the waist and spine. This is called gathering Qi in the waist and spine. If the waist and spine can gather Qi, then it can be injected into the waist. If it can be injected into the waist, the waist can become the master.
Relax and straighten the hips : The hips should not fall over, bulge out to the left or right, and you should not use force. Use your mind to relax and straighten the hips. This will allow the Qi to sink downward and the legs to gain strength. This is called relaxing and straightening the hips.
Knee bend and storage : The two legs should be clearly distinguished between emptiness and fullness, so as not to occupy a disadvantage. To achieve the goal of storing strength with bend and having surplus, the two legs should not be in a straight position. Regardless of "rising, supporting, opening, and closing", the two legs must always be bent to a certain extent, which is called knee bend and storage.
The intention of both hands to rise : this means that the palms are erected, the base of the palms have a tendency to sink, and the fingers have the intention of stretching, so that Qi can flow to the fingers, which is called the intention to rise.
