Internet Archive
Hi, everyone. Some of you may know me for the fics I've written or edits I make on YouTube or just stumbled upon my post. I've been thinking about this for a while, and due to how expensive streaming services are nowadays (and the lack of space on my laptop), I'll be uploading all the shows and movies I have on Internet Archive (or Google Drive if they get taken down) so that everyone can access them.
I'll slowly be uploading the media as it takes quite some time (days), depending on the video's quality. I may also be missing a few episodes or seasons since I only download what I need when I make edits, so comment if you still want them, regardless it's only one or two episodes from a specific season or show.
Here's a list of what I have uploaded already and still plan to do:
Invincible
Season One
Season Two
Season Three
Jujutsu Kaisen
0
Season Two (Missing Episodes Eighteen till Twenty-Three)
Monster High
New Ghoul at School
Fright On
Why Do Ghouls Fall In Love

𝐝𝐞𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐧 | kiss me better
Tumblr media
PAIRING. deuce gorgon x gn/fem! reader
WORD COUNT. 0.6k
WARNINGS. mentions of bruises
NOTES. i'm alive! sorry for being absent, i got a job at a library and it's been taking up all my time so i haven't really written anything since febuary. but please enjoy this peace offering despite it being short
Tumblr media
"Oh my ghoul," you whisper, taking in the sight of your poor boyfriend as he sits on the bench outside the school nurse's office.
You knew Deuce would take some hits during the Skultimate Roller Maze game, but nothing could prepare you for what you saw. Deep purple bruises stain his cheek and nose. A sling and cast cradle his left arm, and his signature shades are cracked, threatening to shatter and turn everyone around him to stone.
"Deuce!" you call, rushing toward him.
He looks up to see you and quickly tries to stand up from the bench. You wrap your arms around him as gently as you can, careful not to press against any of his injuries. Deuce winces slightly but pulls you closer with his right arm. You pull back just enough to cup his unbruised cheek, your thumb brushing against his skin.
"What happened?" you ask, "The camera in the maze suddenly stopped working, and then we couldn't see anything."
Deuce sighs, his breath shaky. You can see the pain etched in his eyes, even behind the broken glasses.
"It was Gary from Granite City High," he begins, his voice low. "He sneaked up behind me and stole my glasses. I turned the camera bat Rocco was holding into stone. Rocco threw the stoned bat at Gil and knocked him over. Then Gary shoved me. I slammed into Gil, and you know the rest."
Deuce gestures weakly to his battered body. You feel a surge of anger rise within, but you try to push it down. It's not fair that Granite City High got away with winning this season's Skultimate Roller Maze despite cheating and injuring your school's entire team. But there was no evidence to prove they cheated. They made sure of it when they destroyed the camera.
"What about Gil?" you question, distracting yourself from your anger. "How's he doing?"
Deuce motions to the nurse's office. "He's getting checked now. Lagoona's with him."
"I'm so sorry, Deuce." You lean your head against him, rubbing your hand up and down his chest. "What they did wasn't fair. You didn't deserve any of that."
Deuce kisses the top of your head. "It's not your fault, babe. You don't need to be sorry."
"I know…" you sigh, pulling away to look up at him. "I just wish I could do something to make it better."
"Well," Deuce says, his lips curling into a smirk. "There is something that might help. Think you can kiss me better?"
You grin. "That I can do."
Deuce gently tugs you closer by the waist, and you giggle, wrapping your arms around his neck. Standing on your tiptoes, you gently kiss his forehead, lingering just long enough to let him feel the affection behind it.
Then, you move to his non-bruised cheek, leaving a soft kiss there. You kiss every part of his face that isn't bruised, and when Deuce thinks you're finally going to kiss him properly, your lips teasingly brush over his to continue kissing his face.
Deuce chuckles softly. "Stop teasing."
You pause, locking eyes with Deuce through his shades. Then, you lean in and kiss him passionately, letting all your love and care flow into that moment. Deuce's grip on your waist tightens slightly, pulling you closer as he kisses you back. When you finally break the kiss, your foreheads rest together.
Deuce lets out a content sigh. "You always know how to make things better."
"I'll always be here for you, Deuce. No matter what."

CHAPTER THREE. brain fried
WARNINGS. cursing, violence, slight angst
WORD COUNT. 1.1k
SYNOPSIS. being followed brings out the murderous side of people
Tumblr media
The morning sunlight streams through the curtains, gently illuminating the room as (y/n) wakes up, exhausted as Hato struggled to fall asleep last night.
Pulling the duvet off her body, she swings her legs off the bed, feet touching the wooden floor. She walks past her son's cot, pausing briefly to kiss Hato's forehead before entering the bathroom to prepare herself for the day ahead.
Once freshened from her shower, (y/n) dresses herself before walking to Hato's cot. His amber eyes meet hers, and he smiles. A chirp mixed with a giggle escapes his mouth.
"Good morning, my Dove," (y/n) coos, carefully picking up her son to not bother his wings. "How'd you sleep?"
He chirps in reply.
She hums. "It's good to sleep, right? I don't see why you fuss so much at night when you're so happy in the morning."
Carrying Hato in her arms, she walks to the kitchen and sits him in his high chair. Thankfully, his wings are still little, allowing Hato a couple more months to sit in the chair until his wings branch out and become big.
(y/n) grabs Hato's sippy cup filled with baby formula from the fridge and a bowl from the cupboard. She places the cup in the bowl and fills the bowl with warm water to heat the milk.
"Do you think Auntie Emiko would be fine with eggs and rice for breakfast?" (y/n) asks Hato, trying to include her son while he waits patiently for his milk.
The boy babbles, an occasional chirp leaving his mouth.
"I think so, too."
She grabs the ingredients and prepares the breakfast. An enticing aroma fills the air as (y/n) scrambles the eggs with cooking chopsticks. After moving in with Emiko, the two sisters agreed (y/n) would cook breakfast, and Emiko would prepare dinner. Lunch depended on yourself. Hato, for obvious reasons, is exempted from this rule.
The eggs finish, so (y/n) plates them and checks on Hato's sippy cup. The cup is warm, meaning Hato can finally have his breakfast. She dries the cup with a towel and walks toward Hato.
His little chubby arms reach out to the sippy cup, eagerly wanting his milk. (y/n) laughs, helping Hato to hold the cup's arm before he drinks the cup's contents. (y/n) leans down to kiss his head and goes back to cooking.
Eventually, Emiko waltzes into the kitchen as (y/n) finishes putting the rice and eggs into bowls and sets them on the table.
"Look, who finally woke up, Hato."
Hato pulls the cup away from his mouth and stares at his aunt. His little wings flutter, and the cup whacks against the high chair table as Hato bounces in his seat.
"Hey, kiddo."
Emiko ruffles Hato's hair before sitting at the table to eat her breakfast. (y/n) joins her, digging into the eggs first.
"You got work today?"
"Yeah, I'm needed in the city again today," (y/n) replies.
"Cool," Emiko mumbles out, mouth filled with rice.
Hato laughs, watching his aunt in awe. (y/n) and Emiko glances at each other before turning to Hato.
"Do you think it's funny when Auntie Emiko speaks with her mouth full?"
Hato babbles a laugh and claps his hands. Emiko stuffs more rice into her mouth and then opens it wide, making noises to entertain the boy. Hato mimics Emiko's noises, an occasional giggle slipping through.
(y/n) stares at her small family with a smile. Her family wasn't perfect by any means necessary, but in that moment, everything was perfect. She didn't have a care in the world as everything she needed sat right in front of her.
— — —
Stepping out of the house, (y/n) closes the door behind her. She walks down her usual route to the train station, but something feels off today. Uneasiness settles in the pit of her stomach, a gut feeling telling her that something is about to happen.
Call it paranoia, but after years of her father training her and being a former villain, (y/n) can't shake the feeling that she's being followed, like someone is lurking in the shadows.
With every step, (y/n) senses the presence drawing nearer, the unease escalating into anger. With a quick decision, (y/n) diverts from the usual route and enters an alleyway, wanting to confront the pursuer who followed her from home.
As (y/n) walks further into the dimly lit alley, the figure finally reveals itself. Spinning around, (y/n) outstretches her hands, and arcs of lightning zap out, shooting the stranger. He goes flying into a wall and falls, slumping against it.
(y/n) marches toward him, grabbing his collar and pushing him against the wall. One hand locks around his neck while electricity crackles on the other hand.
"You have five seconds," (y/n) says.
The man blinks, groaning from the hit. "To do what?"
"Tell me who the fuck you are. Or I'm going to fry your brain."
(y/n) draws her hand closer to the man's face, threatening to electrocute his brain till he's nothing left but an empty shell. The man looks between (y/n)'s face and her hand before reluctantly answering.
"I'm an enforcer working for the Hero Public Safety Commission," he explains, "Madam President herself wishes to meet with you."
(y/n)'s eyes widen in surprise and confusion. The mention of the Hero Public Safety Commission and an audience with the President left her with several questions. What could they want with her? And why now?
Sensing her skepticism, the enforcer continues, "I assure you, it's of utmost importance. Please, come with me."
"Me? Important?" (y/n) removes her hand from his neck and steps backward. "Do you have any idea who I am?"
The man straightens, tidying himself from (y/n)'s roughhousing.
"(y/n) (l/n), age twenty-three, daughter of Kentarō and Akira (l/n), more commonly known by their alias Bolt and Shimmer, and older sister to Emiko," he starts, "Your mother wasn't a heavily involved parent and allowed her husband to train you and Emiko to follow in their footsteps. His training was brutal, sending you and your sister to the hospital every so often."
"When you were eighteen, Emiko ran away from home to start a new life. But you?" He questions rhetorically. "You stayed loyal to your parents and became a villain. You eventually met and partnered up with Pro Hero Hawks to catch your father, who now spends his remaining years locked in Tartarus. You stayed in contact with Hawks for a few years until fifteen months ago, when you both—"
"Okay, okay, I get it," (y/n) interrupts, having enough of this man retelling her life story. " You know everything about me, but that doesn't answer why Madam President finds me so important. What do I have that she needs? Or better yet, what's happened that she needs help from a criminal? She already has Pro Heroes waiting on her hand and foot."
"If you come with me, everything will be explained."
Though (y/n) remains guarded, her curiosity outweighs her worry.
"You better hope this isn't a trap for your sake, else I'll fry your brain."
He sighs. "I've gathered."

PUPPET ── Chapter Two
Tumblr media

CHAPTER TWO. spitting image
WARNINGS. slight angst?
WORD COUNT. 1k
SYNOPSIS. it's hard to stop loving the man who taught her what love feels like
Tumblr media
The distant rumble of an approaching train vibrates through the metro station. (y/n) stands on the platform, her foot tapping impatiently against the floor. She's been waiting six minutes for the train to arrive. And she has somewhere she needs to be.
A train's headlights pierce the darkness, illuminating the tiled walls. (y/n) sighs in relief. Stepping into the subway car, (y/n) finds an empty seat by the window to stare into the dark tunnel as the sliding doors close with a metallic hiss.
As the train picks up speed, (y/n)'s phone buzzes, signaling a new message. Taking her phone out, she turns the device on and sees the lock screen image.
Keigo wore a grin, arm rested over her shoulder, while (y/n) leaned into his embrace and stared at him. Keigo had taken the photo the day (y/n)'s father was caught and sent to Tartarus. It was a special day that needed to be remembered.
(y/n)'s been meaning to change the image of her and her ex. She's had fifteen months to do it. But every time (y/n) tries to, she can't. Not when Keigo was the one to help get rid of her father. Not when he was the first person to show her what true love felt like.
Shaking her head, (y/n) quickly unlocks her phone and opens the messenger app, reading the text sent. It's from her younger sister, Emiko.
emiko You almost home yet? (y/n) just got on the train should be there in like 10-20 minutes how's Hato? emiko He's happy! Been chirping since his nap
Another reason (y/n) couldn't change her lock screen: Keigo had given her the greatest gift in the world, her son, Hato. She was terrified after Keigo left her. Unsure how she would care for the baby, she reached out to her sister Emiko.
Emiko and (y/n) separated ways after their father trained them. (y/n) found herself following the path her parents laid before her while Emiko ran away, fighting to find her own path. One that didn't require her to be a villain.
And she did. Emiko had a job, food, and a roof over her head. She got everything she wanted, everything she fought hard to work for. The only thing missing was her sister. Hato was the push (y/n) needed to reconnect with her sister.
(y/n) that's good to hear i wish i could be there with you all day :( emiko Hey, it's okay!!! I don't mind looking after Hato He makes sure I take my breaks (y/n) you're the best aunt, you know that? emiko I know :)
The train comes to a stop, and (y/n) eagerly steps off, wanting to see her family. (y/n) walks through the bustling station and up the stairs, her heart beating excitedly. The thought of smothering Hato with kisses is all that consumes her brain.
Navigating the familiar streets, (y/n) eventually arrives at her sister's house. She takes the house keys out of her pocket and unlocks the door. (y/n) hears the chirping of her son, Hato, as she closes the door. The sound echoes through the house, and (y/n) smiles.
"I'm home!" (y/n) exclaims, taking off her shoes to put on slippers.
As she hangs up her jacket on the rack, Hato's chirps become louder, recognizing his mother's voice. Entering the lounge, (y/n) sees Hato sitting on his play mat surrounded by pillows and toys.
Hato is the spitting image of his father despite only being six months old. Like Keigo, Hato has wide, amber eyes with black markings at the corners and a pair of little red wings emerging from his back.
Hato, however, was born with soft, fuzzy (h/c) hair from his mother and sharp little talons on both his hands and feet. His amber eyes land on (y/n), and his red wings flutter as he chirps at the sight of his mother.
"Hello, my Dove!" (y/n) outstretches her arms to Hato, grabbing him from underneath his armpits to bring him close to her chest. "Mama's home."
He surprisingly sits straight on her arm while the other rests on his lower back. He smiles, revealing his toothless gums.
"How was your day?" (y/n) asks.
Hato babbles and chirps as he stares at his mother.
"Wow! Really? It sounds like you had a good day."
"It was," Emiko says, joining her sister in the lounge. "Today, he's been nothing but an angel."
"You hear that, Hato? You're an angel."
(y/n) kisses Hato's cheek, smothering him with love until he giggles. His wings flutter, and he kicks his legs back and forth, enjoying the attention. Emiko gazes at her sister and nephew, her heart swelling with happiness.
"So, how was your day?" Emiko asks.
(y/n) replies, "It was alright. I had to recharge some guys' batteries with my quirk. Got a few thousand yen in return." She looks at her sister, sighing. "I know it's not much, but I'm trying."
"I didn't say you weren't. But..." Emiko trails off.
"But what?"
"Maybe you could try talking to Keigo?" she suggests, her tone gentle. "I mean, he's the third-highest Pro Hero in Japan, and I'm sure with all the merch, sponsorships, and commercials he's doing, he can lend money for you to take care of Hato."
(y/n) sighs as she sits on the couch. She carefully sits Hato on her knee and bounces her leg to entertain her son while she tries to talk with her sister.
"You don't think I've thought of that before?" (y/n) says.
Emiko crosses her arms. "Then why haven't you done it?"
"Because he made his choice." (y/n) glances down at Hato, taking his little hands in hers. His fingers barely wrap around one of hers. "He didn't want to be with me anymore, so he left. Telling him I was pregnant would only have made him stay out of pity. Hato doesn't deserve that."
"But Keigo's his father?"
"I'm not saying Keigo isn't allowed to see Hato," (y/n) explains softly, "Keigo is more than welcome to see his son and spend time with him once he finds out. But I can't handle facing Keigo. Especially not to beg for his money."

PUPPET ── Chapter One
Tumblr media
<< masterlist | wattpad | next >>
CHAPTER ONE. tragedies
WARNINGS. angst, cursing
WORD COUNT. 1.1k
SYNOPSIS. a villain being in love with a hero always ends in heartbreak
Tumblr media
"Dammit!" (y/n) hisses, tears pricking her eyes.
She sits on the toilet seat in her bathroom, her heart beating against her chest. Her hand trembles as she holds the pregnancy test, staring at the two pink lines. It's positive.
The test falls to the tiled floor. The pink lines taunt (y/n), confirming her worst fears. It feels like the walls are closing in on her as she struggles to catch her breath. Her tears finally fall down her cheeks.
Her upbringing was far from ordinary. Being born into a family of villains, (y/n) was trained to follow in her parent's footsteps and expected to revel in the destruction of hero society. She's never known the warmth and stability of a happy family. The idea of love and nurturing feels foreign.
How could she possibly handle the responsibility of raising a child? She can barely look after herself. Her mind races with thoughts, doubts, and fears, threatening to engulf her in a tidal wave of uncertainty.
Taking deep breaths, (y/n) attempts to calm herself. She closes her eyes and presses a hand to her stomach. She couldn't deny the truth of carrying another living being within her. But another presence invades her thoughts, Keigo.
"Shit," she whispers, eyes opening. "How am I tell gonna tell him?"
Keigo is a Pro Hero, a god the civilians of Japan praise. And (y/n)'s a former villain, a convict still wanted by Japan.
How would the public react to their relationship? What would happen now that she's carrying the child of the Number 3 Pro Hero? Does Keigo even want to be a father?
(y/n) shakes her head, shooing away those thoughts.
"It's okay. You're going to be okay," (y/n) says, trying to reassure herself. "I've dealt with worse and got through it. This will be easy." She pauses. "Hopefully."
Gathering her strength, (y/n) picks up the pregnancy test and throws it in the bin beside the toilet. She walks to the sink to wash her hands and clean her face.
The water cools down her face, but when (y/n) sees her reflection in the mirror, she sees how unattractive she looks. Her eyes are puffy, her face red, and her nose scrunches to stop the snot from running.
She looks far from happy at that moment. She knows that. But all she can do is put up a front and pretend she is. So she smiles and hopes for the best when Keigo arrives later after patrol.
But fate has other plans.
As (y/n) opens her refrigerator to grab a bottle of water, a knock at the balcony sliding door interrupts her. She stares at the glass door, her heart skipping and her grip on the plastic bottle tightening when her eyes lock with Keigo's golden ones.
She smiles. "Fuck me."
(y/n) moves to unlock the sliding door, inviting the winged hero inside before closing it again. Keigo stands in the middle of the lounge, unusual from the routine (y/n) was used to. Normally, he would hug and kiss her by now, but today is different. Her senses are telling her something is wrong.
"Not that I don't love your company," she starts nervously, "You're usually only over once the sun is down. So what's the occasion?"
Keigo's gaze avoids (y/n)'s, allowing his eyes to roam around the apartment that's felt like home for the last couple of months. (y/n) can feel the tension in the air. But before she can ask another question, Keigo utters the words she fears.
"(y/n), we need to talk."
(y/n) breathes through her nose, her heart sinking as she sits on the couch. She crosses her arms, hoping it will somehow protect her from hearing what Keigo needs to say. Keigo turns to look at her, and (y/n) searches Keigo's eye for answers, but all she finds is emptiness.
"I- We can't do this anymore, (y/n)," Keigo says, his voice tired. "We're just not meant to be."
(y/n) inhales sharply through her teeth. The room seems to spin, and the world blurs around her. How could Keigo leave her? Now, of all times to do so?
Tears well up in (y/n)'s eyes, but she fights to hold them back. She turns her head, not wanting Keigo to see her like this. She won't let him see her weakness, her vulnerability.
She shakily sighs. "I should've known this was coming."
Her elbow moves to sit on the couch's arm, and her hand covers her mouth as she shakes her head. She closes her eyes momentarily before opening them and uncovers her mouth.
"I should've known that a hero couldn't love a villain." Her voice trembles as she continues. "I'm so stupid to think I could live a normal life and be happy. But villains don't get happily ever afters." She turns to face Keigo. "Only tragedies."
"(y/n), it's not like that."
"Really?" She scoffs. "Then please, explain to me what other reason you would have to want to break up with me?"
Anger and hurt swell within (y/n). How could he leave her after everything they've been through together? Did the promises he made years ago mean nothing to him?
Keigo hesitates, his gaze falling to the floor. "I've found someone else."
"Bullshit!" (y/n) exclaims, standing up to point an accusing finger at the blond. "If you're going to lie to me, at least make sure it's believable. It took me months to get you to break down your walls and even learn your first name!" she argues, "I highly doubt you found a bitch that made you crack that quickly."
The silence between them is deafening, but (y/n)'s ragged breaths and rapid heartbeat cut the stillness.
"If you have nothing else to say, just leave," she says.
Keigo turns to open the glass door, oblivious to (y/n)'s secret. She wants to tell him the truth, to make him understand the gravity of their situation, but she won't beg him to stay if he won't willingly.
"But I hope you know you're making the biggest mistake of your life." Her words cause Keigo to stop in his tracks. "And you're going to regret it in the future."
Keigo glances at her. "I know."
(y/n) nods. "Just making sure."
Keigo's red wings outstretch as he stands on the balcony. They beat against the air, and he takes off, soaring through the sky.
(y/n) quickly locks the door and pulls the curtain closed before she crumbles to the floor, clutching her knees to her body and letting the tears flow freely.
"I'm sorry," she whispers, "I'm sorry."
(y/n)'s alone, facing a future with the weight of motherhood on her young shoulders. She knows she has to find the strength to face this situation as usual, but for now, all she can do is grieve the loss of Keigo and her broken heart.

PAIRING. jordan li x female! reader
WORD COUNT. 1.1k
WARNINGS. angst, cursing, homphobia, insecurities, racism (some are very brief)
NOTES. inspired by @maraschino-ch3rry post about jordan not being marketable
KEYS. (y/n) - your name e.g. paige, sam, etc. (l/n) - last name e.g. cole, thomas, etc.
Tumblr media
Fairy lights and flowers decorate the foyer of Godolkin's Student Union as the night of Brink's Memorial Gala unfolds. Your satin dress flows elegantly, hugging and highlighting your figure with a refined slit. Champagne glasses twinkle as they float by on silver trays, a luxury you can't resist. Grabbing a glass of champagne, you take a small sip.
Your eyes wander, tracing the guests who have gathered for the occasion. The guests, staff members, trustees, benefactors, and a few students invited or could afford to buy tickets are here to 'support' Godolkin University. As for you, you're here to support your partner, Jordan, and find trustees willing to vote for them.
When you finally spot Jordan entering the foyer, your heart pounds against your ribcage at the sight of them. Jordan looks hot in their black suit, and the half-pearl half-chain necklace adds to their charm. However, Jordan's expression doesn't match the mood of the event. They're frowning.
You wonder why until you see their parents trailing right after them. Downing the rest of the champagne, you place the glass on a nearby waiter's tray and scurry over to Jordan, careful not to trip over your heels or dress.
"Jordan!" You grin, pulling them into a hug. Their arms wrap around your waist as your lips kiss their cheek before grazing their ear to whisper, "Stop frowning. You're too attractive in that suit to be sad."
Jordan chuckles, a smile cracking across their face. "Thank you," they murmur, kissing your cheek in return.
Jordan takes a step back, revealing his parents behind them. You plaster on a fake smile towards Jordan's parents.
"(y/n), meet my parents, Paul, and Kayla Li. Dad, mom, this is (y/n)." Jordan pauses, gulping. "My girlfriend."
"Hi, it's so nice to meet you, Mr and Mrs Li," you say, offering your hand to shake.
Jordan's parents glance at each other, almost like they're communicating telepathically. Then, both of their lips quirked upwards. Paul chuckles, reaching out and eagerly shaking your hand.
"You have a girlfriend?" he questions, "Why didn't you tell us?"
Before Jordan can come up with an answer, you interrupt, "I'm sorry, that was my idea." You pull your hand away and rest it on your décolletage. "I didn't want Jordan to tell anyone. I'm a very private person."
"That's okay, dear," Kayla reassures. "We're just happy that Jordan's found someone is all."
"Well, it was nice meeting you both," you say, catching Jordan's parents' attention, "But Jordan and I have duties to attend to tonight." Like schmoozing trustees and securing votes for Jordan. "I hope to see you again soon."
Hooking an arm around Jordan's, you guide them away from their parents and towards the influential guests at tonight's gala.
"Private person, my ass," Jordan remarks once you both are far away from their parents. "One search of you on Instagram and pictures of me flood the app."
"You love it," you quip, unhooking your arm to hold Jordan's hand. "People know we're together, so they can't try shit when you're not around. Unless they want to get their ass kicked."
"You can't blame me. I don't like to share."
Rolling your eyes, you stop in your tracks, causing Jordan to halt.
"Earlier, before you arrived, I was scouring the guests, and I think a few people here would vote for you with enough persuasion. We just need to show them the marketable side of you." You gesture to a man nearby drinking champagne. "That's Daniel Travis, one of the trustees for Godolkin. We can start with him and work our way with the others."
Pulling Jordan, you walk towards Daniel Travis and put a smile on your face. "Mr Travis, I'm (y/n) (l/n), and this is my partner, Jordan Li. Could you spare a few minutes to talk with us?"
He lowers his glass. "Of course. What would you two like to talk about?"
"Well, as we know, trustees decide the rankings. And during the incident with Golden Boy, Jordan went down in rankings. We wondering if you'd like to vote for Jordan," you explain.
"I don't like to ring my own bell, but I am putting up the best stats of anyone here in forensics and combat," Jordan adds, "And to be honest, I'd love your vote."
"I've looked at your Q Rating, Name Recognition, and Social Trending, Jordan. They're down, and it's no secret," Daniel states bluntly, "Frankly, being bi-gender and Asian won't appeal to certain audiences in America, so, in terms of marketability, you're not in the best position."
Jordan's face falls at Daniel's harsh assessment. It's a tough pill to swallow. Daniel shifts his attention to you.
"But you (y/n)?" he says, "Your ratings are through the roof, and your control over your powers is remarkable! You're a marketable asset. But, you see, you could achieve even more if you broke up with Jordan."
The suggestion hangs in the air, a poisonous idea souring the elegance of the gala. Jordan feels a surge of anger and frustration at Daniel's audacity while you're shocked by his proposal.
You squeeze Jordan's hand, hoping to give them peace of mind while you resist the urge to use your powers and toss Daniel into a wall. Your eyes flash with a mix of anger and disgust.
"You must be out of your mind to think I'd ever let someone like you dictate my relationship," you retort sharply, "Now if you have nothing important to say, we're leaving."
With that, you lead Jordan away from the conversation, finding a quiet corner of the gala to catch your and Jordan's breath and collect your thoughts.
You knew that success could come at a cost, but compromising your relationship with Jordan wasn't a price you were willing to pay. Wrapping your arms around Jordan, you pull them into your embrace and kiss their temple.
"Jordan, I'm so fucking sorry," you apologize softly, "I should've dug for more information on Godolkin's trustees before making any moves. I didn't expect that from Daniel."
Jordan sighs, resting their head on your shoulder. "It's not your fault, (y/n). But Daniel's got a point. My numbers are down. Nobody wants to see a bi-gender Asian Supe. Your numbers would be higher if we weren't together."
You shake your head, holding them tighter. "Jordan, don't listen to him. I love you with every fiber of my being. No marketing scheme or student ranking is worth more than my love for you. I don't care about the numbers. I care about you." You tilt their chin up, looking deeply into their eyes. "You are more than any label or statistic. I love you for who you are. Don't let anyone make you question your worth or our love. Because if anyone thinks otherwise, they can fuck off."

Since Marie Moreau joined Godolkin University, everything has gone downhill. After the death of your friend Luke and the murder of your favorite professor, your life has gone through a ball of shit. You didn't want to blame Marie. The poor girl got caught up in Luke's drama — drama you didn't even know existed — she's just as traumatized as you are.
That's what you would've said before news spread around school that Marie and Andre were the ones that stopped Luke, not Jordan. Your partner who actually fought Luke while Marie ran at the first sign of danger. The thought of Marie frustrates you to no end, but you have other things to worry about, such as Jordan locking themself in their room since classes ended.
For as long as you've known Jordan, they've always been competitive. They climbed up the school's student ranks at Godolkin, beating almost anyone and everyone who tried to get in their way. They were one stop away from being first-ranked. But because of Marie and Andre's 'courageous act' of stopping Luke, they've been pushed up the ladder, while Jordan has to settle for fifth. It hurts to see Jordan so angry at the world and themself.
You knock gently on Jordan's door, hearing the muffled sounds of what you presume to be Marie's interview with Hailey Miller. The room goes quiet, and you wait a few moments for Jordan to open the door. But they don't.
"I know you're in there, Jordan." You turn the doorknob, rattling the door in your unsuccessful attempt to get in. You sigh and lean your head against the door. "Please open up, baby. I'm worried about you."
There's a moment of silence until the door cracks open. You take a step back, seeing Jordan's somber expression.
"Hey," you say, smiling softly. "Can I come in?"
Jordan hesitantly returns your smile. "Sure."
They open the door wider, allowing you to enter their dimly lit room. Their room is nothing from the usual, with clothes strewn over their couch and textbooks scattered on their desk. You pull your bag off your back, setting it down on Jordan's bed to retrieve your laptop and the takeout you bought from Vought A Burger.
"I was thinking we could maybe watch Property Brothers and have dinner together?" you suggest. "Or any other show if you want?"
Jordan shakes their head, their lips quirking upwards. "That sounds really nice, actually."
You pass Jordan the takeout, unsure if they've eaten anything since having lunch with you earlier today. You quickly set up the laptop on the coffee table before sitting on Jordan's bed.
Leaning against the headboard, you open your arms wide. "Come here."
Jordan doesn't hesitate, settling themselves in your waiting embrace. Their arms wrap around your torso, pulling them closer until their head finds a comfortable spot nestled against your stomach.
Feeling the weight of Jordan's emotions, you hold your partner close, your arms enveloping Jordan's shoulders. You softly kiss the crown of Jordan's head, your lips brushing against their ink-black hair.
"I'm sorry you're having a shitty day," you whisper, threading your fingers through their silky strands. "It's not fair."
"It's not your fault," Jordan says, sighing. "Shit happens."
"This school is shit," you explain, your anger spiking. "You've worked your fucking ass off to become second-ranked at Godolkin, but because of Marie and our asshole of a principal, you've lost your spot."
Jordan lifts their head to look at you. "It sounds like you're more upset than me."
"I'm sorry, it's just..." You shake your head before staring lovingly at Jordan. "I love you so much, Jordan. So much that I feel everything you feel. When you feel angry, I feel angry. When you're sad, I'm sad. So when you go through these obstacles in life, you aren't alone. I will always be there for you, baby."
Jordan crumbles at your words, and a small smile plays on their lips. They lift themself and lean towards you. Their lips press against yours gently before pulling away, leaving you no time to savour the kiss.
"I'm lucky to have you," they admit.
As you grin, you pull Jordan closer into another kiss. But this time, you can feel the intense emotions radiating off them, and you soak in the passion and love from Jordan's kiss. The rest of the night is spent in each other's arms, binge-watching Property Brothers and devouring greasy takeout.
