There is no “dark side” of the moon since the moon’s day is 28 earth days always facing earth as it rotates. It does have a far side.

My yet to be recorded song “plate tectonics” tells the story of west and east tectonic plates that can see their reflections from the light of nearly full earth. The light from far away parts of earth illuminate moon’s night sky. You can see the whole face of this moon picture from the light of the other side of earth. Look tonight!
