𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃, you packed up all your supplies and were ready to leave the class for lunch until a round-haired brunette approached you with a friendly smile. You noticed how alongside her were two other girls, one with dark green hair neatly tied in a bow at the end and one with flair pink hair that matched her skin.
"Hey! I think we haven't introduced ourselves yet, I'm Uraraka and these're my friends; Asui and Ashido," She gestured before turning back to you, beaming. "It's really nice to meet you L/N, I'm looking forward to being your friend!" Your lips curved into a similar smile as you slung your bag over your shoulder while your hands were shoved in your skirt's pockets.
"Ohh.. you're that girl with zero gravity, right?" You responded, to which she nodded. "Nice to meet you too, I've heard about you guys from Mr. Aizawa,"
"Oh cool! We don't need to introduce ourselves!" Ashido grinned and clapped her hands together. "It's so nice to have a transfer student — especially a girl!" She giggled as she jumped in excitement. Asui turned to you, placing a finger on her chin.
"But I'm curious to ask — what's your quirk, L/N? Mr. Aizawa said you're really strong when he introduced you, so I'm sure you have an impressive one," She inquired which got you a little nervous, you almost forgot what 'a quirk' meant. But thanks to your small brainstorm before class could end, you managed to make one up.
"Oh, that? Uhhh.. it's nothing special, it's called Spider; I can shoot webs from my fingertips, stick to walls and blend into the environment.. y'know, very basic," you shrugged and gripped your bag's strap. Tsuyu hummed in response, finding you impressive.
"Do you think you can demonstrate sometime? I really wanna know how you fight! I mean — it's so rare that Mr. Aizawa would even praise someone's efforts.." Ashido pouted with a fake angry expression before you nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, sure! During training maybe—?"
"SHITTY HAIR! GET THE FUCK BACK HERE!!!" Someone yelled behind you. It felt like they just burst your eardrums. Your head turned before your eyes landed on a guy with crimson red flashy hair, that stood out the most, approaching you. Next to him was a spiky-haired blond with an evident pissed-off expression. You were able to tell he couldn't care less for the school dress code, as he was missing a tie, revealing more of his v-neck and Adam's apple. Besides that, his pants sagged without a belt to secure it.
"Hey!! It's nice to meet you L/N, I'm Kirishima!" He beamed and stuck his hand out in the shape of a fist bump, your hand formed into one before you returned it. He noticed your gaze behind him before he as well checked what caught your pretty eyes. The redhead nervously chuckled when he realized you were looking at his irate friend. "Aaand.. that's my pal Bakugo, he's kind of the opposite of calm and rational but don't mind him!"
"DON'T IGNORE ME!" Bakugo yelled again and stomped over towards the group. He had his hands shoved in his pockets and a glare present on his face. Tsuyu was beside Uraraka who had a look of slight concern, while Mina huffed.
"Geeeez, way to treat our new classmate Bakugo," Mina crossed her arms while the disgruntled blond looked at her with disdain and scoffed. "Shut the hell up, pinky! No one asked you!" He jabbed back. Your gaze landed back to Kirishima, who had an embarrassed smile.
"Yeah, sorry, he's not so manly.." He said as he scratched his head skittishly. You smiled and patted his shoulder lightly. "Nah, it's okay, I've dealt with worse," you reassured. The redhead grinned and suddenly wrapped his muscled arm around your shoulder in a friendly way. He was strangely already empathetic, despite the fact you haven't known him for so long. His arm pulled you closer to his chest, creating warmth to your face while he just innocently grinned.
"YOU LIL' SHITSTAINS TALKING 'BOUT ME?!" Bakugo yelled, an unexplained anger seething from his tone. With a harsh grab, he suddenly tugged on your school uniform's tie, jerking you forward and making Kirishima let go. He lifted the fabric with threatening force, getting you on the tip of your shoes. You were clueless as to why he had a sudden grudge against you, but you guessed he probably acted that way to everyone.
"You think just 'cuz you did that stupid entry exam means you're better than me?! You might've joined late, but that doesn't mean you surpass me, you damn extra!" The blond sneered, while you looked back at him with derision and confusion. If this was his way to intimidate you, it wasn't working so well. You've dealt with cocky anomalies before, he just blended in the background.
"Woah chill Bakugo! She's just a girl, go easy on her!" Another guy approached the group as he punched Bakugo's shoulder playfully. He had black hair and a cheeky grin on his face that masked a hint of concern for you.
Beside him was his friend with yellow hair and a distinctive black streak on his bangs. He had a smirk on until it turned upside down once he noticed Bakugo gripping your tie tighter, the fabric around your neck digging into your cervical. He gasped in panic and suddenly ran to help you down quickly with a worried expression. "And she's pretty too! What the hell dude?!" He exclaimed while setting you down, making the spiky blond roll his eyes and scoff.
"Thanks uhh— Kaminari, right?" You asked, guessing names by his appearance before he suddenly simpered.
"You know my name!" He joyfully squealed and held your hand in a prince-like way, trying to display chivalry. You laughed and slipped your hand away before he could kiss your knuckles.
"A-Anyway, L/N would you like to eat lunch with us? It's perfectly fine if you don't want to! I wouldn't want to push you.." Uraraka asked a little nervously, her noticeable pink cheeks making you smile. You nodded briefly as she grinned and clasped your hand, making Mina gasp dramatically.
"No fairrr!!.. I wanted to share my lunch with you.." The pink-haired girl whined, her protruding hampton-coloured antlers drooping like a disappointed puppy.
"Maybe next time?" You suggested before Mina's grin returned. She waved you an enthusiastic goodbye as Tsuyu and Ochako began dragging you away outside the classroom.
UA's space was humongous and minimal, it couldn't compare to BVA at all! The large corridors let the students in large numbers pass easily, the tinted glass walls let them see through the exterior, while it offered a pleasant view of the flowers blooming and the foliage running through the wind. The air conditioning system operated smoothly, and the healthy lush verdure assured you of how the school took care of the environment. You liked UA so far, and by the look of eagerness on your face, Uraraka and Tsuyu could tell. They were happy as well, just like Kirishima, despite not knowing you so well, Ochako shared his same sentiments.
After you reached the ground floor, you were met by a strong mouth-watering aroma forming nearby. You followed your two new friends to where that tasty scent was coming from before you saw the cafeteria. It was spacious and almost felt like a hotel. You got your food and sat down at an empty booth after you waited in line with the two girls. But before you could munch down on your meal, a shadow cast in front of you. Looking up, you saw a fluffy green-haired teen holding his tray of food and two more guys behind him. He looked anxious and didn't seem to keep eye contact, making you curious.
"Oh, Deku! Hey!" Uraraka beamed while she waved at him, her cheeks tinted a darker shade. He turned to her with the same nervous look and chuckled skittishly.
"Hey! I didn't know L/N would be joining us — Not that I mind!!" He jittered with an uneasy voice, you wondered why he sounded so tense just by your presence. It felt weird. A sudden sound of a tray dropping on the table was heard in the booth after Deku's friend behind him stepped aside and placed the thin salver down as if he were trying to display authority. His figure towered over you, making you stare up at him with a curious look.
"Excuse me L/N, but you are sitting in Todoroki's place!" He explained as his hand moved up and down robotically, his glasses jumping and following his rapid movement. Aizawa told you about him before, Tenya Iida, an interesting nerd.
"Oh, my bad," you excused yourself, grabbed your tray, and sat next to Tsuyu who made a place for you. Deku sighed in relief and took a seat across you. Tenya sat down beside him and began to eat his food after he thanked you gratefully, following a bow at a perfect ninety-degree angle.
The guy beside Deku didn't say a single thing after he took your initial place. Glancing up at him, he had red and white hair split into two sections and a perceptible scar on his face. He mostly kept his gaze on his meal, almost like he didn't know you were there or he was ignoring you. He looked kind of cute, so you guessed he was a popular topic along with the ladies.
"So L/N, which school were you enrolled in before UA? I'm inclined to believe it's a prestigious one!" Iida asked as he lifted his glasses. The two girls and the green-haired boy looked back at you with an eager expression that screamed they wanted to know as well. You anxiously gulped down your saliva.
"I was, uhm..— enrolled in Brooklyn Visions Academy.! It's a hero school in the US, but my relatives wanted me to learn in UA, that's why I transferred late...?" Your tone wavered, lying on the spot. You didn't even know if BVA existed in this world, you doubted it did anyway after seeing how unparallel this world was to the rest of the spider-verse.
"Woah.. Brooklyn? As in the United States? That's so cool!" Uraraka gasped as Tsuyu nodded. "The land of liberty indeed,"
"Well, how about the entrance exam L/N.? How was it? If you don't mind me asking.." Deku queried with a curious smile. Your finger tapped your chin as you pondered.
"Hmm... It was alright, a little hard actually," You gazed back down and took a bite of your food, the flavours melting on your tongue deliciously. "I had to score six hundred villain points and two hundred rescue points by destroying some robots, then fight a hero to a match," you answered before chewing. The booth turned uncomfortably silent, making you look back at the rest of them, besides the white and red-haired guy. They shared the same utterly gobsmacked look, their jaws hanging open below while their eyes were wide open, showing more of their white scleras.
"T-That's more than seven times what Kacchan got in the initial entrance exam!" Deku extolled with immoderate shock, his hands gripping the silver chopsticks harder but not enough to break them. Iida nodded as well, his eyes still wide with shock. "Yeah.. I suppose Mr. Aizawa was not overestimating you earlier.." He muttered and pushed his glasses back on his nose bridge. You glanced back at the greenhead, your curiosity piqued.
"Who's Kacchan?" You questioned with raised eyebrows. Deku chuckled nervously as Uraraka spoke for him. "It's Bakugo from our class, they're childhood friends," She responded, taking another bite of her meal.
"Oh... him..?" You squinted your eyelids, your lips forming a thinly curved line.
"Eugh... how could you even be friends with him?" You uttered with a tone of aversion, your eyebrows furrowed while Deku had a look of shame, his flustered state growing bigger.
He couldn't get a chance to respond after Iida stood up from his chair abruptly. "The bell's about to ring! I advise you all to get to class early!" He announced as he took his tray and disappeared quickly, most likely to get to class the first again. Deku soon followed, pushing his chair to the table properly, as well as Ochako and Tsuyu, leaving only you with the red and white-haired guy. The reserved half-and-half refused to look at your direction yet again, so you didn't bother trying to talk with him after he prioritized his peace. You left in a hurry, putting away your tray as you began to walk to class.
With your back turned as your figure disappeared further in the distance, Shoto took a small glance before he later followed you to class.

You panted heavily as you changed back to your school uniform in the changing room. Training with the entire class ended brutally, with your body soar from your head to your feet. But others had worse, like Deku who broke his fingers until it was dark purple or Ochako who ended up nauseous from floating around too much. You couldn't wait to just get back home and relax for once. Your soft bed and a drink waiting for you, it was the dream. The day ended smoothly but what surprised you the most was when you didn't glitch throughout your first day of school. It was a miracle but it concerned you as well. You thought you'd end up raising suspicion but turns out, almost everyone in your class became an acquaintance. When you get home, you'd probably try and make your own watch like how Hobie taught you to.
Before you disappeared into this world, you owned a trinket attached to your spider-suit that the spider-punk gifted. He was one of your best friends in the spider-society, and seeing how your stay here seemed to grow longer, you couldn't help but feel homesick.
After you changed, you took your bag and began to walk out of the campus. Once you neared UA's guarded exit, you heard a familiar voice calling out your name behind you. Turning around, you noticed the same injured greenhead again, he had bandages all over his fingers and a band-aid on his forehead. He looked like a kicked puppy who remained buoyant while he waved at you. "L/N!!"
"Deku?" You mumbled as he approached you. "What's up?" you voiced as he stopped in his tracks, his eyes droopy from how tired he was from training.
"I just wanted to thank you for the training today.. it really helped me realize how to improve myself!" He beamed with a tone of zeal. Despite the injuries that you caused, his infectious bright and fervent mood made you smile back softly.
"Yeah, it's no problem," You responded with a nod before you began to walk out the exit, with him beside you. "But you should take better care of your quirk Deku, it's not good that you're hurting yourself while using it," you berated as his face burned with embarrassment.
"Sorry yeah, I'm working on it L/N," He apprehensively spouted, gripping his bag's strap tighter.
"Just call me Y/N, L/N sounds too formal.." you replied. His eyebrows lifted in curiosity.
"W-Well if that's the case, you can call me Izuku! Y/N is a really nice name.." He answered, making you smile and your face a tiny bit warmer. "Thanks.."
The walk back home was comfortable, with Deku sharing some small talk with you like his strong interest in All Might and the upcoming event you weren't aware of, the sports festival. It sounded like the next Olympics after he described it as something so important. The whole country would be watching the annual occasion and students would try to show off their skills for heroes to scout for more internships. Judging by his tone, he was a little anxious. You reassured him with a pat on the shoulder which got him to smile yet again. Sooner or later, he wrote down his number for you without needing to ask.
The sun started to set after you both reached a thoroughfare, the light blue sky above looked refreshingly clear. The moment of pleasantry was interrupted when Deku stopped in his tracks and faced you. A look of concern appeared on his face. "My place is that way, but would you like me to walk you back home Y/N? I-It's getting pretty late and I don't want anything to happen to you.." He tentatively offered with a worried tone. You shook your head no, smiling.
"It's okay Izu, I'll be fine really, thanks though," You responded with a grin, appreciating his offer. He knew you were capable but he was still worried for your well-being. His new nickname made him chuckle sweetly.
"Alright then, goodnight N/N! Stay safe!" He waved before turning in another direction and left until he couldn't be seen. He seemed to be in a rush as he accidentally dropped his All Might keychain attached to his bag. You quickly picked it up before it could fall down the drain below the road and tried to follow him, but he had already disappeared. Sighing, you pocketed the colourful plastic chain in your skirt before turning back to your street. You figured you could just give it to him tomorrow.
The walk back home took long since you couldn't use your webs in public. The moon started to set as you passed through a shortcut; a grimy narrow street. Despite Japan's clean state, it didn't mean it was immune to garbage. The weird atmosphere almost gave you chills down your spine but your want to go home was far better than your fear.
While walking, your spider-senses suddenly tingled, signalling danger. Your eyes quickly shifted beside you. Despite the darkness, you can see that behind the large garbage can, there was a girl. She looked almost the same age as you while she wore a uniform with a squalid pale almond-coloured cardigan. Her appearance was unkempt, with her dishevelled space buns and dirt all over her face as she breathed heavily. Her body was crouched down into a ball while small insects crawled up her grubby outfit to the garbage behind her. Worried and quick to act, you plopped your bag down on the floor, not caring if it dirtied, and approached her.
"God.. are you okay? You look like a mess.." You spoke with an unsettled tone as you dusted the insects off her scruffy attire and supported her up by holding her shoulders. Her thin-slit eyes looked up to you, her golden irises meeting your lovely E/C ones. She continued to pant from exhaustion before her eyes suddenly rolled back as her upper body collapsed on yours. You held her carefully, hoping she wouldn't fall.
"B—.." The girl tried to mutter. You confusingly tilted her head up, her gaze meeting yours once more. "Blood.." she murmured with a quiet tone.
"Blood?" You repeated curiously. "Why blood.?" You strangely inquired but she didn't seem to respond to your question as she stayed silent on your chest again. Her pale features worried you fully, so maybe her quirk had something to do with blood? That must've been the case.
After hesitating, you sighed in defeat before you placed her body back down gently, making sure she was comfortable. You looked around the narrow alleyway for something sharp enough. After a few moments, you spotted a shard of glass below some shredded boxes. It gleamed under the shadows, making it noticeable. You bent down and cautiously picked it up before walking back beside the exhausted girl. You vacillated, doubtful you were able to help her until you gripped the reflective shard. You bit the inside of your cheek as you sliced a thin line on your wrist, the familiar crimson liquid staining your light-grey sleeves.
The scent of your blood seemed to energize her greatly as her eyes darted up before she pushed herself up from the grubby floor immediately. A hand suddenly gripped your bleeding wrist before she leaned her head down and bit down ferociously. You hissed in pain while her long sharp canines dug deeper into your sweet flesh, her teeth felt more painful than the actual glass. She didn't waste a drop of red oxide-like liquid until she finally released her mouth from your soft skin and licked the rest of the blood that ran down your forearm.
You felt lightheaded and disoriented after what happened until a pair of arms wrapped around your shoulders shook you out of your now tired state. Her giggles echoed in your ear, contradicting her once-exhausted figure before. She looked at you, a wide maniacal grin appearing on her face, yet she still held your forearms tightly, not wanting you to pull away. "What's your name?" The girl suddenly asked.
"Uhm.. Y/N L/N..?" You murmured before her smile widened, a dark blush appearing on her cheeks. Her grip on your arms tightened as she began to giggle once more.
"Y/N... Y/N.." she repeated in a quiet tone, grin widening. "Wow... such a pretty name!!!" She suddenly exclaimed and brought herself closer to your chest. You weren't so tall but your head towered over this mysterious girl. It granted her the opportunity to lay her head down on your chest while she snuggled against you, making you seriously flustered. "Ahaha... yeah.." you sweatdropped nervously, faking a smile. You weren't one for physical touch but she didn't seem to care, even believing your obvious fake grin.
"I'm Toga Himiko!! But only call me Toga, 'cuz from now on, we're friends!!" she beamed before she hugged you tighter, her grip almost suffocating. You gently but firmly pulled her away while her maniac-like smile still remained on her blushing face. "Toga is a pretty name too.." you mumbled anxiously with an uneasy tone, playing nice for now. Her eyes widened as her expression became more agitated, her blush darkening. She couldn't keep her hands off you as her arms were returned right where they were.
"Aaww!! You're so sweet Y/N!! Your blood was sooo tasty... I loved it so much!" Toga's embrace tightened before she continued. "And you stayed even when I was so close to passing out! I love you so much!!" She exclaimed, her cheeks visibly red while her words made you uncomfortable. After a few more moments of hugging, you pushed her away again.
"I appreciate it a lot Toga.. uhm.. I-I should get going.." you quickly stammered before your fingertips flicked out webs that swiftly pulled your bag and rapidly maneuvered you up the wall. She looked up with a surprised look, her eyes brightening under the moonlight while she watched how you attached yourself to the firm bricks above so gracefully. "See you next time?" you offered but didn't give her a chance to respond. You quickly left, disappearing from her line of sight.
Toga gripped her sloven cardigan tighter before a hand travelled to her rapidly beating heart. She didn't know how to experience the strange but addictive feeling. She couldn't believe what happened today either! All her mind could think of were your kind E/C eyes, your accepting hug, your selfless acts and your delicious blood. You were so accepting! Despite the fact blood was the only thing that could quench her thirst! Normal people would run away or even report her but you were so kind.. so sweet. Your crimson taste remained in her mouth sweetly as she eagerly licked her teeth. It tasted like nothing but pure ambrosia.
Toga's excitement overcame as she tried to activate her quirk. Her expectations to transform as you failed her, the once extreme smile she once had turned to a look of confusion. She was sure she consumed at least a cup full of your blood, so why? Why couldn't she transform into you? Dread soon overcame her happiness while she gripped her arms tighter. It felt like her needs were taken away from her. She wanted, no, needed to transform, to hug herself as if you were hugging her back, to voice out her love for you despite only meeting for a few moments.
"See you later?" Your words repeated in her mind. "Toga is a pretty name too," and again.
Toga's smile crept back as she began to giggle to herself, holding her arms tighter. "Yes, soon.." She whispered and chuckled. Her shoes clicked against the floor as she began to trot away from this filthy alleyway.
The bar was surprisingly quiet, a few underlings were away like Stain who mostly acted alone in the League. It was not until the schoolgirl kicked the door open and stepped inside the dark room. Toga didn't show any sign of fatigue, just grinning like a deranged psycho as usual while the rest of the villains looked at her in confusion. Shigaraki glanced back at her, a look of annoyance present on his face.
"You've been gone for a damn long time.. wished you were dead," The light-blue-haired man grunted, an elbow on the bar while Kurogiri stayed behind the counter, cleaning a freshly washed cup. Twice gasped dramatically before he approached the sweet girl, patting her shoulders quickly.
"Don't say that Tomura!! And Toga, you look filthy!" The masked man exclaimed with a loud tone. He took out a pink handkerchief that Toga had lent him earlier and wiped the dirty grub off her face gently before he moved to her clothes. She chuckled at his sweet demeanour before she turned to face her other new friends. After Twice finished wiping her prematurely clean, she ambled to her other friends, approaching them with a smile.
Miles G. was sharpening his gauntlet on the floor with a knife in his hand he stole from Stain, while Dabi rested on the ripped couch, his legs crossed as his stitched arms extended on the back pillows. The scent of cigarettes were all over the him, as a grey fog escaped his lips smoothly before it disappeared into the air. The two never got along very well, even when they were both new. They carried a strong tense aura whenever they were near, the rest of the League wondered why, but Toga wasn't one to question.
"Hiya Miles!" Toga's smile was radiant while she approached him. He placed the blade down on the wooden floor, creating an echoing sound of its drop, before the antihero took his gauntlet and wore it securely, readjusting its claws. She had gotten used to his stoic and reserved personality as he often ignored her, but after what happened today, her happiness couldn't be changed, and she wanted to tell someone more about you.
After Toga waved her arms around to get his attention, Miles let out a sigh of frustration and finally glanced up at her, a look of vexation present on his face. Dabi's eyes slowly opened when he finished his cigarette, while he was wondering what could the blonde wanted to express now. Her blush darkened as her fingers covered her pink cheeks.
"I made a new friend!!" Toga exclaimed.

❝𝐊𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐔𝐏,❞ the prowler grumbled behind his mask with a distorted voice as he slung a hook across the city's highway. He ran and leaped from the high distance before he pulled himself above the many cars from below. Miles followed behind him, his webs constantly leaving his wrists while he aimed and propelled himself in his direction.
He watched how the prowler expeditiously swung through building from building with agility despite the thick fog that started to settle in from the rain. Miles looked down to catch a glimpse of the scenery yet what he saw made him realize how this dimension and his contrasted. The numerous policemen were all over the place, but they couldn't provide the same protection as a spider-man could. It made him realize how important such an individual like himself or any spider-variant was. But if Miles had to describe Earth 42 in one word, he'd call it dystopian.
"Sooo, how far away until-?" Miles inquired until his counterpart interrupted him already, flitting faster in the air like it was a race"
"Few more minutes inquieto. (restless)" Miles G. voiced as he jumped down the building despite the extreme heights. The spider-man only sighed as he watched his twin surprisingly already ahead of him.
He persuaded him further until they reached close to an area where light didn't shine. The two Miles landed on top of a rusty tower crane as they observed their surroundings. The darkness obscured Miles' view but upon further observation, he could make out a complex building of considerable size - bigger than a baseball field. The fences were wired poorly with no sign of a main entrance and multiple banners with warnings to leave were plastered everywhere, which left Miles a weird feeling down his gut.
"This was the Alcemax," Miles G. voiced before his mask distorted, probably because of the rain. Miles looked back at him, confused.
"Why does it look abandoned?" He asked curiously. His response took a while, making his suspicions grow when he saw his twin's visage. It was indecipherable yet all he did was look and stare down on the dark Alchemax.
"I destroyed its collider. It caused a meltdown." Miles G. responded with a low tone before the curly-haired teen's eyes rose in astonishment from such news.
"How the hell did you destroy a collider all by yourself?" Miles questioned, perplexed and surprised by such a response. He watched how his stern expression turned slightly softer. "No goober or anything at all?" Miles G. looked back at him, returning his look of confusion with a slightly stern expression. The spider-man's question made him look like a fool thanks to his words, guess only spider-people knew what a goober meant...
"Didn't do it alone. Y/N helped me," the prowler retorted with a sullen tone before he huffed. "She was so smart.. fine too," he rambled like a fool in love while Miles continued to listen. The rain still cast down on the two, but it didn't seem to bother them.
"She told me how to shut it down, but guess I was just too aggressive with that damn collider, not that I ever liked it anyway," The prowler's glum face hardened more before his mask glitched back.
"Let's go," He said before launching himself off the tower crane and leaping midair towards the abandoned Alchemax. Miles hastily followed, his webs firmly pulling him behind the anti-hero. The breezy air through the night easily got Miles to swing with no worry, yet it gawked him to see his twin advance with precision and speed. His equipment and boosters must have helped him glide recklessly but competently through the wind. Either way, his talent was worth praise.
They both landed on the dirty rooftop, their shoes clicking on the broken floors and the displeasing mud created by the rain. Miles G. advanced further with his twin behind him before they reached a malfunctioning door. The texture was smooth and clean if it weren't for the grime and squalor it presented. The prowler easily opened it while Miles followed along inside the dark edifice, the barrier behind them closing as it created a loud thud. He assumed he'd be seeing nothing but pitch-black until he noted how the lights flickered, creating a path to follow despite the anxiety it could impose on an unlucky person who could wander inside. Then again, who would come here?
The place looked ghastly and left an ominous aura that would leave others a sense of foreboding. The prowler appeared unperturbed and continued forward, he must've had doleful memories upon entering here since he mentioned you again. But then again, he was the one who came up with the idea to venture inside.
Miles was probably overthinking, it wasn't his business to pry into his other version's past. He was just curious of course, you could say he was looking out for himself.
They stopped in front of another broken entryway. The spider-man wondered what could be behind the secure entrance before his wonders were answered when the prowler suddenly slashed the wired board beside them. The door automatically malfunctioned yet slowly divided, letting the two look-alikes pass through.
The two ventured further as Miles could recognize more grubby machines and equipment. The deeper they went, the less often the lights flickered. While descending, he felt the air become more chilly and as the two entered another room, he recognized the discarded documents that were scattered on the dirty tiles under the flickering lights. From what he could find, the papers depicted diagrams and reports; mostly progress about the collider or test subjects they ran on. The spoiled files must've been vital information for the scientists before this place turned for the worst and remained deserted and untouched by the people of Earth 42. If anything, the files were nothing but forgotten memories of what really happened.
No one knew the complete story behind the Alchemax's meltdown, except for Miles G. He knew it remained better that way. Who would look him in the eye anyway after he destroyed an important piece of Brooklyn that the corrupt government and KingPin funded? Who wouldn't want to kill him after he destroyed these scientists' families, all because he wanted to avenge your death? He was selfish, but he would've never forgiven himself if he had never done something, your decease would've been for naught.
You were the only one that made him believe peace was still an option in this sick unforgiven world, yet those malignant fucking scientists.. the same people you supported for the project and killed you, he'd never forgive them.
"Yo Miles!" his counterpart interrupted his train of thought before he looked up to meet his gaze behind his mask. He was a little envious to see his other version of himself slightly taller than him. When his attention was turned to Miles, he continued.
"You gotta check this out," the spider-man disappeared into another room from a two-door way after he said that. Miles G. followed him inside the eerie room, and the moment he took another step, he felt the memories flush back into his mind.
They were in the collider room, the same room where you died. If he just looked further down, he would've seen your blood stains on the debris. God forbid you'd die in a place as filthy as this. You rested in peace, in a comfortable coffin of your favourite colour the vigilante provided. The room reeked of death, some bodies were piled up behind desks, but they didn't look so harmed as the radiation must've killed them. That fact didn't make the prowler's guts churn, he'd seen more bodies than a normal teen would. On the other hand, Miles was disturbed by such a place, but he had to continue, this Alchemax was his only shot at getting home after all.
"Don't forget," Miles G. asserted as his mask fell apart once more. He had the same morose expression, while Miles looked back at him with a befuddled one. "We're saving Y/N. You leave without saving her, I'm huntin' you down." He glowered with a stoic stare.
He must've really cared for you before you died. Miles could understand, you were friends with Gwen. But after that whole fiasco with her, Peter and Miguel.. he figured you knew and lied to him like the rest of them did. Yet, why does he still appreciate how you offered to catch bad guys with him? Why does he worry about you when he barely knows you? How come his counterpart had a version of you in his dimension while he was alone? Sure, Gwen was there, but she didn't last...
Maybe if you both had more time together, you and Miles could be friends too, even if canon events separated you two.
"Still don't trust me, huh?" Miles joked before his twin's expression only hardened. He ignored his sternness as they further ventured into the ginormous test room. Behind the gargantuan glass that had already shattered, the Afro-haired teen saw the closed collider, its parts folded into each other. He didn't have to approach it to know it was dusty from how long it was unkept, as it created some tingling sensation in his nose, almost making him sneeze like he had allergies.
What he definitely didn't expect was the collider suddenly unfolding and activating. Miles' eyes widened, and he turned back to his other self. The prowler was behind a desk that was surprisingly still functioning. By the look in his eyes, he knew what he was doing but it wasn't enough to trust him. Miles rushed towards him with his webs, looking down at the electronic table with wires and buttons before looking at him.
"What's Y/N's dimensional coordinates?" Miles G. asked in a rushed tone to which Miles looked like he was utterly perplexed.
"How the hell am I supposed to know?" his eyebrow was raised as he retorted. His confused expression made the braided teen scoff.
"Aren't you her friend?" Miles G. jabbed back. It made Miles chuckle nervously. "I just met her..?" He responded to which his twin looked back at him with an "Are you serious right now" look. He grumbled and turned his mask back on. His boosters activated before he suddenly bolted like a dash through the broken glass behind the collider. "Wait f'me," the prowler asserted under his voice modulator and leaped down below the complex apparatus.
The black and red-suited hero was about to follow him yet when he turned around, the collider caught his attention. It was turned on. Miles hated betrayal and lies but with the grand machine already running, it was his chance to get out of there, to save his dad. Miles knew you were worth saving as well but he had no time left to waste, hesitation made him tap his foot against the floor. He kept glancing back and forth to see if his counterpart returned. He was taking too long.
With a conflicted sigh, Miles advanced towards the electronic desk as his fingers trailed down on the mechanisms and buttons. The collider further operated as dark matter started to appear from the formation and with that, he typed in his earth's dimensional signature. This was it, he was almost home. Just a little bit of time, and he could get out of here.
"I—Initializing co— collider.." the system announced through the speakers, its voice distorting like a broken record. Miles placed a hand on the initiator, preparing to pull on the lever for commencement.
Yet before he could even do so wrap his fingers around the trigger, a sharp pain shot through his neck from behind before his spider-senses could even get the chance to react. His spider-senses reacted late once more, causing his consciousness to slip again...
"F'r real? You were just gonna leave your twin like that?" The prowler sneered after he elbowed a nerve behind his neck, rendering him unconscious. A sardonic tone accompanied the odious glare present on his face. His animosity for the spider-man seemed to grow once he saw the collider already open with a portal to his dimension. 'He accessed it himself' He wondered.
"So much for trust and relation.." The anti-hero snarled before letting out a scoff. His hands were balled into fists yet they were careful to keep the vile of your blood safe. How did he retrieve it? Though his actions blossomed a memory and a tight feeling in his chest, Miles G. had jumped down at the bottom of the collider room earlier to reach where he had last seen your corpse. He doubted at first, but your blood was still there and surprisingly easy to liquify. Your sanguine liquid was an important key to the collider anyway.
Ignoring his passed-out identical other on the dusty floor, Miles G. entered a sequence into the commander circuit before he poured small drops of your blood on the transparent cuvette attached to the device. The black matter from the collider seemed to intensify and change as the vigilante's gloved fingers continued to type cryptic information on the malfunctioning screen, too fast to understand to the naked eye.
"Identifying the closest di—dime— mensional traces; Earth 61806N" Lights started to flicker quicker, and the ground began to shake from the frail and broken foundation below the functioning collider it was starting to create more of a mess. His mask was automatically placed before the vigilante fled at the speed of light through the broken glass to the opening portal. His calculations were never wrong, he believed— no, knew that upon entering that vortex, he would find you and reunite with you again.
Without further hesitation, Miles G. jumped into the glitching portal, an explosion muffled from his ears occurred behind. He didn't know what happened or when it occurred but he lost control of his body as all he could do was see countless stars, colours, galaxies, all impossible to count. He felt like a corpse but his consciousness was strangely still inside. He knew but didn't know what was happening. He could feel everything but nothing at the same time, what was happening? He had no clue.

The vigilante's moments stuck into infinity were short-lived when a hole was torn open in the middle of time and space. He was thrown out aggressively before his body crashed into the brick wall behind him. "joder.. eso duele, (fuck.. that hurt)" Miles G. coughed from the air that was knocked out of his body. He slowly got up, patting the dust off his clothes.
The scene was something he hadn't seen in a while; it was a city so peaceful that contrasted his own. No fires, not so much crime in the middle of the city, just normal for once. What baffled him was how he could rarely find anything Western-related. His eyes darted across the signs, all were bizarrely in Japanese. Why was he in Japan? Isn't he supposed to be on Earth 61806N? Or at least another version of Brooklyn? It was extremely fortunate he knew basic Japanese. His linguistics study sessions with you before you passed away proved to be successful.
Miles G. jumped down the tall building, leaving claw marks on walls that dropped him to an alleyway. It felt ominous and shady to a normal person but coming from someone who experienced with worst, he could care less about it. The anti-hero hid in the shadows once he heard a series of footsteps and police cars blaring in the distance, guess his first impressions were shortlived. Miles G. then peeked at the corner to see what was happening.
His perplexity didn't seem to shrink as he spotted a woman with scales, hair for live serpents and a grand tail resembling a snake. She was struggling and screaming with fury when a man bigger than her apprehended her. He dressed bizarrely, his beard and suit seemed to be on fire too. It made Miles G.'s eyes widen, how the hell isn't he affected by the flames? He could tell his grip on her was tight and secure, displaying she was a threat.
"GET OFF OF ME! YOU DAMN BASTARD HERO!!" She shrieked, her fangs showing. Miles G. watched how this supposed hero lifted her up easily, avoiding eye contact with the lady before he plastered a blindfold over her eyes. The medusa-looking woman struggled but the tall man eventually succeeded. "It's Endeavour, you low-classed villain." he hissed with a tone that didn't match the term hero at all. To say he was burning with anger might've been a fact.
Miles G.'s gaze soon left the two once he started to take her away. This place was weird, way too weird. The fact the creature and the hero's looks were normalized made the prowler uneasily out of place. Where really was he? Did he make a mistake coming here? No, of course not. He knew you were here, somewhere. He was about to walk further into the alleyway when suddenly, a large indescribable pain surged throughout his body. "Fuck—!" He grunted, almost falling down. When the pain stopped, he stumbled and leaned against the wall for support. He should've known this glitching effect would come early.
His grunt of help seemed to catch someone's attention behind him. Though Miles G. didn't possess the powers of a spider-man unlike his twin, he had some kind of danger-senses that sometimes helped him. When he turned around, he saw a man, a height that matched his own with pale hands, that stood out the most, plastered all over his upper body and his face. The vigilante doubted they were decorations after seeing how bizarre this place was. Between its fingers, his orbs were hidden behind his long, very pale cerulean-coloured tousled hair. His clothes were all wrinkled and dishevelled as if he repeatedly took them out of a hamper and refused to clean it.
"Look at this, a foreigner.. did you lose your tourist guide or something?" His hoarse voice taunted Miles G., he sounded annoyed like he just had a week's worth of bad luck. His finger crept up to his neck and began scratching, an unpleasant sound of skin ripping made the braided-teen scowl. The sound disgusted him but the fact he was picking a fight when he was just minding his own business made him realize how stupid he must be.
"What's with the hands then weirdo? You ugly behind those?" Miles G. scoffed with a pissed-off glare. He could tell from the tense silence that the light silver-haired guy was speechless by his perfect Japanese while also fuming. It didn't stop him from scratching his neck more. It didn't concern the vigilante but he was surprised he wasn't bleeding yet.
"You're as terrible as the hero society.." He sneered maliciously. "The same type of people who don't know their place, who believe they're superior.. always feeding their ego," He continued as his back curved more, both of his hands were scratching his neck like mad, so profusely. Shigaraki's nails dug deep in his flesh, why was he getting so triggered over a tourist like him? Why is he not afraid? Why the fuck was he here?! In enemy territory out of all places?!
"You're the type of people I hate the most!" Tomura snarled with disdain. He darted towards him, it felt like his body reacted without thinking straight. His animosity blinded him to rationally think before he could realize he was about to kill someone just from a few words.
All of his five fingers extended to touch this braided guy's face. But when his dry digits hit his dark skin, his eyes widened. He wasn't decaying, he wasn't dying or even groaning in pain. He was still there. What the hell was happening? Did he have an erasure quirk like that damn Eraserhead? That must've been it!
"Get your fuckin' hand off me!" His opponent yelled. Shigaraki reacted late once more as he suddenly grabbed his hand and pulled it away from his face. His grip was tight enough to break his wrist that it created a crack sound. A gut-wrenching hiss escaped Tomura's lips loudly. He didn't even get a nanosecond to realize what was happening when the figure in front of him wrapped his clawed gauntlet around the villain's throat. The fingers were sharp, they irritated and dug into Tomura's mortally wounded scratches while air couldn't enter his lungs.
Miles G. slammed his head into the brick wall, causing the building behind his capture to slightly shake. His opponent coughed and gagged, struggling in vain to punch him yet all the prowler could do was ruthlessly choke his poor throat. The anti-hero glared at him with disdain. "Shame I have'ta kill you,"
"Ku-Kurogiri! Send me away!!" Tomura wheezed, moving his head frantically in a panic frenzy. Miles G. tightened his grip further when all of a sudden, a dark violent purple fog emerged behind the choking bastard. He fell behind and disappeared but the prowler, not for one to let his victims get away, dashed inside the mysterious fog.
His shoes stumbled on the hard wooden floorboards before his gaze darted back at the light geyser-haired man gasping for air on the floor. His prowler gauntlet charged up as he began to walk over to him, ready to kill. His efforts were in vain when a sharp blade suddenly penetrated his shoulder. He let out an injured cry as the figure behind him pinned him down on the floor.
When Miles G. looked up, a tall dishevelled dark-haired man with a torn-up mask gripped the katana stuck in his shoulder. He pulled the sharp blade out with a maniacal smile and licked a drop of blood. "What the fuck? Gross..." The prowler's nose wrinkled in disgust. With a harsh kick, he sent the man flying to the brick wall before he let out a grunt of pain when he got up.
The black-haired man easily recovered but his eyes were wide open like he was shocked. 'That's strange.. my quirk didn't work...' He wondered under his breath and licked most of the blood off his katana once more. He watched how the dark-braided teen got up from the ground once more, shocking Shigaraki and himself.
"What the fuck is this.." the hero killer Stain seethed, his gaze turning to the injured Tomura.
"He's no normal fiend.." Shigaraki grunted, stumbling on the floorboards. "Ya think? Cancellation quirks are far rarer than it already is..." Stain rolled his eyes. Shigaraki winced from his broken wrist but, being the stubborn man-baby he was, tried to ignore it. When the prowler's back faced him, he rapidly bolted and placed all five of his fingers on his shoulder yet again but nothing happened.
The anti-hero grabbed his wrist from behind and threw him on the ground, creating a large gap on the floor. His claws reflected into the light before Miles G. pinned the hand-covered man down and slashed his right thumb off clean, blood spattering on the wall. Shigaraki let out a loud hiss of pain, small drops of tears forming in his eyes. He definitely couldn't use his quirk on his right hand anymore.
"I hope I'm not interrupting something.." A sudden voice appeared again. The prowler tilted his head up and saw the small monitor on top of the table bar distorting. It didn't show a face, only displaying sound. "Hm.. a new recruit, Shigaraki?" The voice answered with a calm tone.
"Fuck no." Miles G. smouldered with resentment. "Your lil' shitstain here had a problem with me, you wouldn't mind if I killed him would you?" He mocked as the voice remained silent for a few moments. A chuckle escaped the masculine voice's lips.
"How impressive, you managed to find the League of Villains' hideout and even beat my poor prodigy to a pulp. Yet instead of calling the police or other pro heroes, there's a fire in you that rages you to kill." He spoke before he continued. "What pushes you to do such a thing?"
"If all you're gonna do is yap about heroes n shit, I'm not interested," Miles G. scoffed. "You think I wanna join your stupid group? Is your head located in your ass?" He grumbled, ignoring the glitching effect that surged through his body again. It made Stain and Kurogiri's eyes widen. What the hell is happening to him?
"Hmm... a strange phenomenon indeed," He mumbled under his breath. There was a brief pause until his carefree attitude let out another chuckle. It made Miles slightly concerned how this person behind the monitor was just acting so untroubled. "Oh, you just keep getting better..." He voiced with an amused sigh.
"Another variant from another universe.. what a grand surprise, a spur of the moment indeed," The faceless man chortled, making the prowler's eyes widen in shock as well. His glitching repeated yet he could care less.
"How the fuck do y'know?" Miles G. inquired with a glare.
"Poor anomaly, with nowhere left to go and in constant pain..." the voice continued. "The study of the multiverse is indeed fascinating, to know that it is actually real has given me more opportunities." He sounded optimistic of such news yet he gave off a strong enigmatic aura despite only hearing his voice.
"If you value your life and wish to stay longer in this world, you need nothing but to stay under this roof and sojourn. After all, you must've come here with a plan. You should be thankful I'm this generous, I'll lend you my support when the time has come." He persuaded with an elusively cryptic voice. Miles G. could tell behind that monitor, he was smirking to his fullest.
The prowler moves in shadows and acts independently but without anything to support him, he'll end up caving and suffering. What other choice has this stupid voice left him? He knew it felt humiliating but he had no other choice. And with a sigh, he got off the bleeding Shigaraki and deactivated his gauntlet... for now.
"Excellent," All for Onesmirked.

"Have you tried Earth F90J?"
"What about Earth 251OL?"
"Earth 36NMA9?"
The overlapped talk from the countless spider-people in the society caused the majority of them to have a headache, yet they didn't stop. Screens, holograms, dimensional traces, DNA, they were all that these spider-variants had been using these past few hours and talking about them non-stop. The atmosphere in the spider-society used to be optimistic, and full of joy, yet they all felt on edge.
"Get every available spider-man and dispatch them to untravelled universes Lyla, I don't want a single earth unexplored!" The Latin spider-man ordered fiercely, a harsher expression present on his face. His whole body was tense and any more bad news could cause another desk to be thrown at a wall. Miguel has been hard on work the past day just to find you or that damn anomaly Miles. After he sent Gwen home with the Go Home Machine, he lost all his leads finding the two missing teens.
"Yelling at me doesn't speed up the process Mig," Lyla rolled her eyes behind her cute and pink heart-shaped glasses. Her hologram glitched away, appearing behind Margo who was looking through the Go Home Machine's archives with a semi-stressed expression. He rolled his eyes at the lyrate lifeform's attitude before he let out a groan and pinched his temple out of frustration.
Miguel needed to find you and Miles, or else it'll turn for the worst.

𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐆. 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐕𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐃𝐋𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐒𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄 𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐄 𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄; it was complicated yet easy at the same time. He remembered how his efforts were recognized when he was accepted into Brooklyn Visions Academy, the same private boarding school his parents had always wished for their gifted son to attend. Though it also meant changing schools and trying to fit in, Miles knew it was for the best.
His luggage was packed, and his headphones hung on his shoulders while he wore BVA's clean uniform. It was a busy day for his family, with his mom having another morning shift at the hospital while his dad was still training as a cop. Even though he was almost running late, Miles could remember how Jefferson drove him to school just like when he was still a kid.
His first days weren't easy knowing he was separated from his family or friends, with only students and teachers around. Miles struggled to meet new people since he was considered a new student coming from a public school. It felt like his peers were looking down on him despite his excellent talent for getting into a boarding school such as BVA, even months after the entrance exam. What weighed him down more was the fact he was forbidden to see his close ones after he started to share a dorm with the only person he knew in the entire school, Ganke. He never doubted he'd be a loner for the rest of his school year but seeing how the others blended in with their other friends made him feel like he was falling behind them...
A few weeks later, a private technological campus that sponsored BVA's academic decathlon and funded its' studies began scouting out internships for only a tiny number of gifted kids. It was rare to receive such a choice yet surprisingly, one of the people who were handed out an internship was Miles himself. He was puzzled, wondering if it was false information until his professor confirmed it wasn't. He didn't seem so excited since he always thought Physics was an easy subject but he still accepted the internship.
He remembered the first moments of the tour around the Alchemax. While passing by numerous laboratories, a figure with H/C hair caught his attention in one of them. She had a lab coat that matched his and the scientists working in the research company, distinct E/C eyes that Miles couldn't even remember staring at for so long. He saw her once in a lab surrounded by various testing devices and machines yet all he could do was watch and follow his guide around the Alchemax. His feet seemed to be moving on their own after he ignored his tour guide and stepped inside your lab.
You were paying attention to the small test subject in front of you with an earbud blasting your favourite music into your ear until you flinched when someone touched your shoulder. You almost dropped the needle you were holding if it weren't for the person catching it swiftly. You turned around and saw him holding the syringe out for you.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you.." He said before gently placing the sharp tool on your desk with care. He had black braids and glasses that he tucked into his lab coat. He cleared his throat, a little nervous.
"It's okay," you responded with a half-smile. He noticed how your pretty eyes trailed down underneath his lab coat before you noticed Brooklyn Visions Academy's logo on his uniform.
"Oh cool, you're a BVA student too?" You asked to which he seemed to nod eagerly.
"Yeah.. was offered an internship so I figured why not join?" Miles responded before you hummed. He couldn't help but also notice the slight height difference between the two of you. Maybe if you jumped a little you would've matched his height but here you were, with your E/C orbs just looking up to his brown ones.
"Oh that's cool, you must be really smart at science.." you complimented while he nodded and shortly hummed out a 'thank you'. He was about to ask how you a question until his guide suddenly appeared, tapping her finger on your semi-transparent glass walls. You both looked at her at the same time before she recognized you and flashed you a smile.
"I see our new recruit is making friends already!" Dr. Olivia spoke as she entered the room and patted Miles' shoulder. She lifted her glasses to her voluminous hair before she continued. "How's Miles like Y/N?" She eagerly asked, looking down at you. Y/N, it was a nice name, Miles could admit.
"Oh— we just met, Doc.." you responded before the scientist hummed and nodded.
"I'm sure the two of you would get along fineeee. Besides, the two of you go to BVA," Olivia reassured and smiled. After that, she turned her focus back to him and let go of his shoulder.
"Alright Morales, time to continue the tour," She said before walking out of your lab, expecting the teen to follow her.
Miles' expression seemed to dim yet after looking back at you, his mouth turned to a smirk. "See you around Y/N?" He suggested, your name slipping out his lips felt new and sweet. He saw how your natural smile beamed before you spoke.
"Yeah, good luck with Liv Miles," you responded, leaning your head against your palm on the desk.
If it weren't for Olivia calling him again, Miles would've forgotten and stayed beside you. He left with his hands in his pockets before closing your lab door gently. Y/N, what a pretty name.
After a few days into the internship, you and Miles began working together on the new project called the Super Collider with Dr. Olivia and a few other scientists. The other interned students from BVA unfortunately had to quit after the company chose their new assistants for the project which was to both of your surprises, you and Miles.
Miles could admit that he was chosen through luck and effort. But you? He was beyond impressed by your work. Before the selection, he watched and learned how efficient and quick you were at any task handed to you. It was no surprise that you were Dr. Olivia's first choice as her assistant. You could balance both your internship and your studies for BVA so impressively, that even Miles started to depend on you whenever he had exams. It helped your friendship blossom beautifully when you tutored him, but Miles knew it could grow into something more special.
After his internship, Miles would often visit his Uncle Aaron whenever he had free time to catch up. Their conversations were mostly about sports or common interests yet after meeting you, his uncle could notice how his eyes would light up or how he would be more passionate whenever his new friend (crush) named Y/N was brought up.
Aaron once teased Miles about his new love interest yet all his nephew could do was try to hide the truth with a flustered blush on his face.
"Stop playin' man, it's nothing like that. She's a friend," Miles would say before his attention turned back to his phone for the fiftieth time, checking if you had finally reacted to the message he sent you ten minutes ago. He was well aware you were still working at the Alchemax but he couldn't contain his impatience to see your reaction. He chuckled and gave Miles a playful punch on the shoulder.
"You a simp now Miles?" Uncle Aaron teased again while Miles looked away. It honestly didn't take long for him to know he was crushing on you hard since he always talked about you during his visits. But hearing him brag about you started to tire him.
So being the wingman he was once to his brother Jeff for Rio Morales, he decided to do the same to his nephew.
"A'ight, a'ight.. here's how you talk to her," Aaron says as he catches his nephew's attention, his brown eyes looking back to his in curiosity.
"You go up to that girl, hand on shoulder.." He demonstrated as he placed his palm on Miles' shoulder before looking back at him, his voice lowered while he held a neutral smirk and a nonchalant gaze. "Hey,"
Miles couldn't even hold his laughter in after he saw his uncle. "You serious wit' me Uncle Aaron?" Miles chuckled before it was Aaron's turn to laugh. " 'm tellin' you man, it's science!" he grinned.
Miles playfully rolled his eyes before turning his attention back to his phone after talking to his uncle. He tried to hide his excitement but a wide grin spread across his face, almost making him look like an idiot. You finally responded.
Tumblr media
"Mami, your fingers're so soft.. but damn you're gripping my hair too hard.." Miles chuckled, his head between your thighs while his hefty palms gently caressed them slowly. You were sitting down on the edge of his bed wearing his jersey while he rested on the floor with your thighs on his shoulders comfortably. Your hands worked their magic on his hair as you were braiding it efficiently fast but a little painful.
"Says the one who wanted twisted locks but decided to switch up after I finished one half..." You pout before pulling on his curly hair and sectioning it with the thin comb Rio lent you. She was the one who taught you how to do Miles' hair whenever she was busy. It took some practice to do his hair but after a few weeks, Miles started relying and asking you to do his hair for him. Besides, being in the arms of his love always cheered him up.
You parted sections of his scalp with ease as you continued to braid his hair. He was on his phone, surprisingly quiet while he gently massaged your outer thigh with another hand. You didn't seem to mind but usually, he'd make some snarky joke that'll leave the two of you laughing in each other's arms.
Once you were done and placed the silky Byzantium-coloured durag over his head, you tilted his chin up to look up at you before kissing his cheek. "Done.!" You beamed in satisfaction before you cupped his face, grazing over his cheekbones as your eyes met his brown ones. Miles turned off his phone, staring into your eyes that were slightly covered by some strands of your hair.
It seemed silent for a bit until he smiled back at you and moved bits of your bangs apart gently to catch a look at your E/C eyes, the same pair he fell in love with when he first met you.
"I luv you so fuckin' much, y'know that ma?" Miles said, catching you off guard by his sudden affection. He held your hand in place on his cheek, keeping it still. "Todo mio bébé.." He whispered, his lips pressing a languid and sloppy kiss against your palm. You began to blush profusely while he laugh at your adorable reaction.
Seeing you so red and flustered was something he enjoyed so much about you. He gripped your hand tighter before you did the same. With a little nudge, Miles helped you plop down next to him on the bedroom floor while holding his hand up for support like how a gentleman would.
Being quiet was definitely out of character for the two of you but seeing your bashful blush turn to a gentle smile made him smirk more. He dropped your hand on his lap before he wrapped a hand around your waist, his palm shifting to your hip while his chin leaned against your soft hair he always loved to play with.
"I love you too Miles.." you mumbled, tilting your head up to meet his gaze as he smiled. Miles then kissed the middle of your forehead before his lips trailed down further. The lower he went, the more sloppy his kisses were. "Te amo más mi amor,"

Miles stood against the jagged, barbed edges of the rooftop next to his apartment while the cold wind bit through his thin black hood. His gaze was fixed on the mural he painstakingly spray-painted in memory of his dear deceased dad. Though it was painted with vibrant colours, the rain and atmosphere around Miles were nothing like the mural. The loss of his father made a hollowing hole in his heart that he impossibly couldn't fill.
His hood offered little to no protection from the torrential rain but it wasn't the rain that had left his face streaked with wetness. His tears were running down, if it was even possible he had any left to shed. Every bottle of spray paint beside the mural was a reminder of his efforts to make this portrait and the father he had lost. The pain of his absence affected him with each passing moment as the rain continued to trickle down on him.
Miles could only lay his head down as he tried to mask and soothe the painful anguish he was experiencing. It hurts, it hurts too much. His knuckles were turning white from how tight he was gripping the fabric inside his pockets. This deep sensation wasn't something he could bear at all, the grief and sorrow he was experiencing were clouding any thoughts of optimism he once had. Looking back at the mural hurt even more than getting stabbed, his eyes would feel like burning before he tried to suppress more tears from flowing yet he always ended up failing. He felt like a child, a hopeless one, someone with no worth. His father would most likely disagree, but his reassurance would be in vain now that he's somewhere else, far away from his family...
Without even knowing, Miles suddenly felt a gentle touch he could recognize despite his back facing the person. He turned around and saw you, your eyes red and tired while your hair was slightly messy under the hood from one of his jackets you borrowed again.
"Miles..." you whispered, your voice tinged with sorrow as you stepped before him, hoping to meet his eyes. He deliberately avoided your gaze, knowing damn well that facing you would only shatter his heart more. Seeing you so woeful and worried for his well-being made him feel at fault for your tears and his dad's decease. You wanted to tell him it wasn't his fault at all, and that he wasn't alone on this one but no words could even escape your mouth further. You were also affected by his dad's loss. He was someone who accepted you into their family as well as for dating his loveable son, and for that, you were forever grateful.
Jefferson had so many dreams he longed to see come true - the hopes of watching you and Miles proudly accept your diplomas, then someday walking you down the aisle as you exchanged vows with his son. And in his wildest, most cherished fantasies, he imagined growing old beside Rio, their hair gradually turning grey as they doted on their future grandchildren, their laughter and joy filling their home.
Knowing Jefferson would never be able to witness those shared milestones was a curse bestowed by Destiny itself.
You tried to cup Miles' face with benign but he looked further away, the guilt was eating him up painstakingly like torture. You widened your eyes at his defiance but nonetheless decided to back your hands away, respecting his privacy. What caught you off guard was when he suddenly wrapped his arms around your waist in a grip so desperate and unyielding - nothing like the warm, gentle hugs he'd given you before. When you tried to pull away, his hold on you only tightened, as if the thought of letting you go would mean losing you forever, like death would come and steal you from him like it did to his dad. The mere idea of you slipping away was absolutely agonizing, if he couldn't bear his dad's death, how could he bear yours?
"Y/N.. prometeme algo.." Miles murmured with his voice muffled against your shoulder before you hummed in curiosity. He breathed in your smell on his jacket, finding it wonderfully addictive before his head pulled away to finally meet your gaze. Another tear slipped from your eye but he gently wiped it off with his calloused finger, your kissable cheeks shouldn't be stained with tears...
"You gotta promise you'll never leave me, a'ight.?" He whispered as he gently ran his fingers through your hair and held you close by the waist, not wanting to let go. He then placed a soothing kiss against your forehead and pulled you impossibly closer. He didn't know what came over him but he began kissing your smooth cheeks and lips tenderly, practically devouring you with his mouth. The more he kissed you, the more he seemed to crave it like he was obsessed with the feeling of your skin against his lips. He couldn't help it at all, something about you kept pulling him closer. No matter how hard he tried to continue where he left off, the addictive feeling would always be superior.
"I couldn't save my dad..." Miles mumbled, his tone slightly darkening.".. Pero si tú también te vas, moriría de mierda.. (But if you leave too, I'd fucking die.)" he declared before he slowly began leaving more kisses on your face. His fingers gripped your jaw and made you look up to kiss him back while he placed his hand on your back, pushing you towards him.
You were a bit baffled by his extreme words but kissed him back. Your lips were soft and slow as you expected him to go the same pace as you, yet he was getting desperate, even trying to use his tongue against yours. When you felt like pulling away, he would only grip tighter. It wasn't until you whimpered that he let you breathe. Out of breath and bothered by such an intense kiss, you started to realize how far he'd go to protect you from any dangers from now on.
With a reassuring gentle kiss that contradicted his obsessive passion, you nodded. "I promise Miles.."
You were unaware of the consequences that promise led you to until now.

"Just text 'em you're stayin' over wit' me again ma," Miles repeated the same sentence for almost the fifteenth time it started to annoy you. You were both in his room, with you on the floor folding your clothes and shoving them inside your bag while he looked down at you with his hands in his pockets and an unfazed expression on his face.
"Miles, I haven't seen my family for almost an entire week," You sighed before zipping your bag close. "I need to get home, Mom and Dad're already pissed off." You responded as you stood up from the floor. After making sure you didn't forget any of your belongings, you were about to open his door and leave until Miles grabbed your wrist and pulled you back.
"You're leaving looking like that?" Miles scowled, eyeing your outfit. You looked confused as you were just wearing such simple clothing; a shirt, a pair of pants with little accessories and shoes. "Yeah?"
"Ma, you can't be fuckin' serious." he scoffed before an irritated look appeared on your face. You were about to pull your wrist away but his hand left to hold your hip. "You look like you wanna get laid outside," Miles commented as he pulled the shirt up to cover more of your shoulder yet it always ended up sliding down and revealing your collarbone he was just kissing hours ago. Funny his attitude changed for the worse.
"This shirt's ass, change." He ordered with a nonchalant tone. On the other hand, you were baffled.
"Miles- it's not even revealing," You responded, insulted by his words. "What, do you think other guys will hit on me again?" You scoffed as you crossed your arms and looked away.
"Y'know damn well it's not about that," He hissed. Miles then turned to face you, making sure you'd look right back at him with no distractions. "There're fucking rapists and criminals in this city but you're too goddamn blind to notice that, do you? Always flaunting your ass around like a ho," He scowled before you widened your eyes. You felt an ache in your heart as your exasperated glare turned to a self-conscious narrowed stare. But you knew better than to look weak in front of him.
"What the fuck is your problem?" You gave him a dirty look. "Ever since Uncle Jeff died, you've been acting so goddamn manipulative! You control what I do every single fucking time that you can't even let me go back home!" You exclaimed until his annoyed expression turned to one of indignation.
"Oh, so you're fucking bringing up my dad now huh? How petty can you damn be Y/N?!" Miles shouted before he grabbed your wrist and painfully tugged on it after you opened the door to leave again. He slammed the door shut so loud that Rio, who was in the living room resting after a long shift of work, wondered what the hell was happening.
"I'm telling you to change because I fucking care if you're in danger, but you're bitchin' about how I'm manipulative?!!" He shoved you away from the door, almost making you tumble while he towered over you, a look of disdain present on his face. "If you actually loved me, you would be listening 'cuz I know what's best for you. You just don't fucking see it."  His words left you with an aching heart that grew worse.
"I do—! How can't you see that..?!" You asked but cut yourself off as your words began to collapse. "I try my best to comfort you, stay by your side and give you all of my attention even when you're at your lowest when Uncle Jeff died, but I'm suddenly the wrong one 'cause I just want to see my family again.?! What type of sick shit are you smoking Miles?!" You yelled, tears started to build up in your eyes but you tried to hide them by wiping the streaks excessively.
Miles' expression remained the same; detached and irritated. Your sobs caused little to no guilt for him as they fell upon deaf ears. In fact, the only thing that changed was how his glare intensified while he looked at you like you were spitting nonsense. You clearly didn't understand anything at all. You didn't know how dangerous the world was and how he was clearly right. Your words only fueled his anger like gasoline.. but the streaks of tears on your face, vividly reminded him of his past that he never dwelled on until now. Your stupid tears, so sensitive and fucking annoying.
"Stop calling him Uncle Jeff, he's dead Y/N." Miles asserted before he sighed in annoyance while he held his temple. "You of all people should know how I felt when he died but judging by your words, you fucking don't." He glared before you looked back at him, your expression full of confusion and worry.
"Y'know.. arguing wit' you is always so fucking stupid that I start to wonder, how can I dumbass like you ever made it to the Alchemax.." He belittled with a scowl on his face. You could feel more tears building up but he made no effort to show any remorse at all.
You watched him walk around his room to pick up the small objects you recognized as your gifts for him. He began tossing them in your direction while you hopelessly picked them up.
"Take your shitty ass gifts and leave. Don't come back." Miles hissed with contempt. You could only look back at him, your head slightly shaking like you were pleading him to stop but he only looked away, avoiding your teary expression that resembled an abused hopeless puppy.
With nothing else to say, you left his room with your stuff, sobbing as you left. You avoided Rio's worried look on you from the living room before you quietly closed their front door. The walls were normally soundproof but after your argument with Miles, she started to doubt that was the case. She could hear almost everything but decided not to butt in. It wasn't any of her business to be a referee between your relationship but she cared deeply for you despite the fact she was only your mother-in-law.
After you left, Rio slowly got up from the couch and walked towards Miles' bedroom. The door was slightly open and she could hear quiet sobs inside. Anxious, she entered to check up on her crying son. He was sitting on his bed while a shaky sigh escaped his lips, trying to conceal his runny tears from his mom. When he knew he couldn't, Miles covered his tears with his palm, his eyes red from crying like yours. "Joder, la cagué... (Fuck, I screwed up..)"
Rio approached him before she sat down beside him on his bed. She looked around his messy room filled with the gifts she recognized from you. Each present was a symbol of the love you gave for Miles but he carelessly threw them away. Her attention turned back to him when he picked one up, specifically a camera with its' lens shattered from the fall. Fortunately, it could still turn on.
Miles went through the photos captured by the camera, they were mostly you and him hugging, sharing precious moments like your first Valentine's Day with him, or even his birthday. Each photo showed complete love and affection, unlike today. He gripped the camera tighter, trying to suppress more tears from flowing but how could he when he lost the only person who cared for him, from a petty argument over what she was wearing?
"Miles.." Rio caressed his shoulder, calming his sobs down. "Sé que podrías estar enojado... (I know you might be angry), but fighting Y/N because of your frustrations isn't good.." She spoke while she had a worried look on her face. His head was still facing down but she knew he was listening. "You only have me, her, and your Uncle Aaron.. don't push her away," She said before cupping his cheek and pinching it with her hand as a way to cheer him up. He sniffled but allowed it to happen, making Rio softly chuckle.
" 'm sorry you had to get involved mama.." Miles apologized quietly, covering his eyes with his hand shamefully. Rio's small moment of laughter soon died down.
"I'm not the one you should be apologizing to Miles," she admitted, slowly taking her hand off his shoulder.
"Si acaso, ella merece más tu disculpa que yo.. (If anything, she deserves your apology more than I do..)" The curly-haired woman responded. It was only a few moments before Miles looked back at her, she could read from his guilty expression how she was right. "Make it up to her Miles.." Rio mumbled before she left his room, leaving him alone to ponder and self-reflect.
Thinking back to what you said, you weren't completely wrong. Miles started to admit he actually was manipulative, he was just so blinded by possessiveness and the danger in the city that it wasn't until the end of the argument that he finally opened his eyes and realized he was controlling you. His hand travelled to his chest, gripping it tightly when he felt a painful ache after he put your feelings into thought. He couldn't even imagine how hurt you must've been after his behaviour. He knew you strived for a healthy relationship but just now, he realizes it was deteriorating.. all because of him.
Miles' attention shifted back to the camera, pressing the buttons as he scrolled through its gallery. His breath hitched when he saw his favourite photo of you together. To anybody, it wouldn't mean so much but it had a special place inside him. It was a semi-blurry picture with your arms around his shoulders while the back of his head was against your chest. You beamed beautifully with your smudged lipgloss on your lips while Miles had kiss marks all over his face. Every photo he scrolled past left him an empty void inside his heart that he couldn't fill. It just grew worse the more he looked. Even when he decided to put the camera down, his untidy room scattered with your presents just showed how much of a jackass he was.
Letting out a deep, exhausted sigh, he slowly and gently picked them up, handling them with the utmost care. His heart sank as he meticulously placed them back in their designated spots, his brows furrowed with concern, hoping he wouldn't accidentally jostle or harm them any further.
Tumblr media
A week and three days ever since the argument. Miles had been counting. He gave you a few days to leave you alone, to finally spend time with your family while he made sure they were safe from any dangers from the city by killing any criminal who dared to harm them. His gauntlet's claws would pierce through their organs and freshly pluck them out like they were fruits. Ever since Jefferson's death, the crime rate was growing higher non-stop as no one would be even safe to go outside anymore. But Miles made sure you were safe and sound despite his ways of protecting you were questionable. He had lots of regrets in life but refusing to tell you he was the Prowler was one of them. He wished to tell you now but knew he had to respect your privacy.
Fuck.. he'd been neglecting you for so long that he forgot it was a necessary boundary.
After a few more days, Miles was expecting to find you after class in the Alchemax for the Super-Collider project again but when he entered your lab, you weren't there. It was strange. You'd usually be early.. were you still avoiding him? It was okay actually- perfectly acceptable but.. he felt like he hadn't seen you in ages... He looked back at his phone, checking if you called him back or responded to any of his messages.. or at least read them.
30 unread messages & 9 missed calls...
and counting..
Miles gripped his phone tighter, worry etching on his face behind his distorted Prowler mask as he stood on top of a skyscraper where he'd usually clear his thoughts. His stomach churned, something was definitely not right.
Tumblr media
"N-No.. ma please.." Miles ran to your unconscious body despite his ankle being sprained after fighting his nemesis KingPin, the bastard who funded the Super-Collider Project. He fell beside you, placing your head on his lap for comfort while he moved any hair blocking your vision. Your eyes were barely open and you couldn't breathe properly. He didn't want to see you like this, not after the days you weren't together. He cupped your cheek, careful not to slice your once soft skin with his rough and sharp gauntlet. It was like he was holding a beautiful sculpture that could break any moment if touched wrongfully.
After your sudden disappearance and lack of answers from his text messages and calls, Miles began searching for you as he thought for the worst. His suspicions were correct once he found you at KingPin's lair where he planned to use you like you were fodder for the Super-Collider, the same project you were so passionate about that backfired completely on you. Miles managed to save you just in time but after all the injuries your body suffered through, he could only hope you had enough willpower to survive.
"Y/N, Y/N.. baby listen to me.." Miles whispered, hastily taking off his gauntlet and holding your face gently. He tilted your head to meet his eyes that showed worry and guilt, unlike the arrogant expression you last saw him with.
"Miles.." you softly murmured, your voice barely audible. He held you closer, hugging you as he kept in thought to not suffocate you with hugs right now. You winced while he reassuringly kissed your forehead. "Shh.. shh.. baby, don't talk right now.. Keep your energy," Miles' voice came out as shutters. He looked at your tired expression to which he chuckled weakly, forgetting the situation in hand for a split second. "How could you be so fuckin' beautiful every time?"
He tried to light up the tension but he started to realize from your emotionless expression how you were barely alive. He carefully picked you up but soon fell back down thanks to his goddamn ankle. He felt your hand grip his shirt, catching his attention.
"I-I can't move..." You whispered but Miles quickly responded. "I'm not leaving you.." He quickly said but you only gripped on his shirt tighter. He couldn't even bear to look back at you, knowing your pained expression would kill him too. "Miles please..." You begged quietly as tears began to form in your eyes.
"My bones are shattered... I can't even b-breathe properly—" You tried to explain but your chest began to heave more, catching his attention. He was about to respond yet seeing your teary orbs left him quiet. "I-I'm sorry Miles.." You whispered before whimpering in pain when your chest burned inside. You tried rolling out of his grip but he ended up holding you tighter, not caring if he hurt you.
"You're not leaving me Y/N.." Miles mumbled as tears began to form in his eyes like yours. His teeth clenched in frustration. He held you even closer, burying his nose into the crook of your neck.
"Don't you remember our promise babe?" Miles whispered with his tone softer than before. He relished your warmth as a tear slid down his cheek. "You're gonna keep that fucking promise okay?" He spoke, his voice becoming shaky.
"I-I don't know.." you sighed. You didn't want to hide the truth from him now that your final moments were before you. Miles shook his head no, refusing to accept such an answer. His hands trembled in intense fear but he gripped you tighter. He's not going to let you die, you were supposed to die beside him peacefully decades later, not now.
"N-No, you don't mean that." He stuttered while he embraced you fully. More tears slipped out but your soft hand wiped them away. He cherished your warmth like it was a rare fire in a freezing winter while you looked back at him with a sorrowful look on your face.
"I'm— so sorry... I didn't listen to you at all.." you whimpered, wiping away more of his tears with your finger. "You were right.. this place is fucked up... I-I hope you can forgive me.." You mumbled before you hissed in pain when your injuries grew unbearable.
"S-Shh.. now's not the time for that okay Y/N.?" Miles shook his head before he kissed your forehead. "I-I'm gonna take you to the hospital- a-and the doctors'll heal you. Just please keep your eyes open f'me.. just do that a-and I'll forgive you, alright?" He smiled reassuringly but it was obvious that he only masked melancholy.
"J-Just promise me something Miles.." you whispered, your eyelids were slowly becoming heavy yet you still looked up at him now that you had his attention. "You'll keep living.. for me, for Aunty Rio and Uncle Aaron okay..?" You spoke before his eyes widened by your words.
"I love you.. so much Miles... please just promise me that.." You muttered while you gently caressed his cheeks, your movements were getting slower as seconds passed. Miles nodded in response, a shaky 'I promise' leaving his lips before you smiled once more.
Your eyes started to flutter close as your hand left his cheek to fall beside you. Miles began to panic. "N-No— no, no, no.. baby please..." He sobbed, trying to wake you up as he just assumed you were tired. But once he checked your pulse, he realized one of his dreadful nightmares had come to life.
No matter how many times Miles would try to rewrite your faith, it would always end up the same. Your death in his arms, his dad's passing... yet those were only a few of his canon events, the cruel events he was destined to go through alone. They were all equally awful but your decease drove him to his breaking point. It was like life was entirely worthless with no colour or joy without you. His heart would never be the same as your death left a wound that will never heal. It made him realize how cruel life was.
He'd never be able to find someone to replace you, he'd never be able to share wonderful moments with you that covered his eyes from this fucked up world, he'd never feel your warm and soft touch he loved so much. Without you, all was hopeless.
Every blade he came across created more lines on his wrists. He had gotten so used to it by now the pain became numb. His arms would bleed out pools of crimson that one time he almost reached his arteries and passed out, not until he had to patch himself up every time he was reminded of the promise you made.
If he broke it now or ever, it'd be like he was pissing over your grave. He'd swear he'd never cut again but a minute later, he'd be relapsing when he remembered your crying face. It was almost pure torture for Miles, both physically and emotionally.
Tumblr media
"You didn't answer my question," Miles G. scowled at him, pressing the sharp gauntlet further into his cheek, making Miles grunt in pain. The spider-man's eye twitched, trying to move his head away but the more he moved, the more his counterpart pressed the blade-like claw further into his flesh.
"S-She's my friend! She's also a spider-woman.! From another dimension at least.." Miles admitted before he sighed in frustration, trying to get him to hear him out. "Listen, just let me go before things get worse. I have to save our dad... please," he pleaded, emphasizing the 'our' so he might have some pity for him yet Miles G. only glared at him like he was nothing but dirt.
"You walk in my home and pose around like you're sum imposter, why should I let go of you?" He asked.
"'Cause I'm literally you! Why can't you understand that.?!" Miles asked with impatience. He started getting desperate, he needed his counterpart to understand. "I'm spider-man alright? And there's other spider-men- or a bunch of me's! One of 'em was Miguel and he learned how to teleport or something- from different dimensions so that's how we all met each other.." he explained frantically before he continued.
"I was bit by a radioactive spider and that gave me powers to protect other people from my own world- but it wasn't supposed to bite me! It was supposed to bite someone else.. someone here." He explained in a frenzy before his twin's eyes widened.
"It was supposed to bite someone here?" Miles G. repeated while the spider-man slowly nodded. He watched how he pulled his gauntlet away from his bleeding cheek. Miles was confused as to why he suddenly retracted until he spoke. "You're the reason for this?"
"So someone could've saved them.. Y/N.. dad.." The prowler murmured under his breath, looking down at his palm while Miles' expression softened. Though his tone was low, he could hear him. He felt his heart ache a little when he realized how rough his counterpart's life had been when there was no spider-man to protect his city at all. What he thought was a sorrowful look turned out to be an angered one.
Miles' look of sympathy soon turned into confusion when he saw how his gauntlet turned a brighter colour as if it was charging up. He looked back at his twin, his glare sending shivers down his spine. "W-Wait wait wait, c'mon man-" he stuttered as the prowler had a death stare settled on him. With his arms still tied up against the punching bag, Miles tried to activate his venom strike but his actions seemed futile when he couldn't even feel the electric currents in his palms. He thought he was over with until his counterpart spoke again.
"You said you had to save Y/N," Miles G. said while Miles only looked back at him, perplexed.
"Yeah.." he muttered.
The prowler sucked the inside of his cheek as he was in deep thought. Y/N, Y/N, Y/N.. the name kept repeating in his head non-stop. Just as he was about to slowly improve his health for you despite your passing, his other version had to show up and ruin his progress. His counterpart had no idea how painful your death meant to him but hearing how he was planning to save you felt like a repeat of the past. Miles G. couldn't even trust him fully yet he knew if he prevented him further, it might be too late for you. Not wanting to experience your death for the second time, the prowler did something unexpected.
With a swift cut by his gauntlet, Miles suddenly fell on his feet while the broken chains around him collapsed on the ground next to the punching bag. He sighed in relief when he could finally move his body without restraint before he looked back at his counterpart. "Don't get the wrong idea cabrón, I'm not lettin' you go 'cause I feel bad for you," He grunted while Miles just chuckled a little nervously.
"You're lucky my time's better spent on saving Y/N," Miles G. scoffed.

𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐃 𝐆𝐑𝐔𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐍 when he collided with pillars and was thrown around until he hit a wall that had accidentally creased. He held the side of his stomach while he panted from exhaustion, that go-home machine definitely didn't treat anomalies gently. He winced in pain from the bruises he got from Miguel and the other spider-variants. He took off his mask to breathe easier yet the cold air pressured his chest, causing it to hurt more.
He knew his time for rest was limited. He had to alert his parents of what would happen, or else. He didn't even want to imagine how his canon event would play out, he needed to focus. He pulled himself up quickly without fully recovering and put his mask back on. Knowing the city like the back of his palm, he ran as soon as he could while constantly looking back to see if he was being chased. With a swift flick of his wrist, he shot a web to pull himself through multiple buildings. The rain dropped down on his suit while he slid through small shortcuts that led him to the main city.
Miles ran and ran as fast as he could, shooting so many webs that he didn't even stop to wonder when they'd run out. His chest heaved out of fatigue yet he knew he couldn't stop. While landing from one rooftop to another, he thought of Miguel's words. He couldn't understand, that spider bit him for a reason, he was meant to be spider-man! He was destined for this, this is who he was. It's his real identity, it's his duty to protect his people.. including his father. Miguel was wrong, he's not a mistake, he is the real spider-man. It was all Spot's fault, all his fault.
...right?
His train of thought was interrupted when his spider-senses tingled. He didn't realize that he was heading into a glass building until he crashed into it, the shards slicing the part of his suit's shoulder. He hissed in pain, clutching his shoulder with his gloved hand before clumsily getting up. The people around him gasped at his sudden intrusion before he quickly jumped out through the broken window he crashed into. His movements became gauche, like a bull in a china shop. When he missed another shot of his webs towards a building, it caused him to dangerously fall and crash on a car's front windshield during traffic. The wind pressure made it worse as if he had been hurled hard into the car.
Miles' whole upper body ached in pain, he couldn't breathe properly anymore. It didn't help that his mind was playing tricks and went back to his original thoughts of Gwen lying to him as well as Miguel's words. Before the man inside the car could complain about his windshield, the black spider-man already fled the scene overhastily using his webs to pull himself further up. He was so close to his apartment, just a few more webs...
He finally saw his familiar bedroom window before he pulled himself against the wall and opened the window with haste. He dropped down on the floor for a moment of rest before ripping his mask off to let him breathe easier. He was panting out of exhaustion until he sighed in relief, smiling. He made it home.
His short moment of repose was interrupted when he heard his door slowly opening. He grabbed the closest jacket he could find and zipped it up. "Miles..?" He could hear his concerned mom's familiar voice. He turned his head and saw her holding a hamper.
"Am I interrupting something—?" She asked once more before Miles rushed towards her, grasping her shoulders with a look of distress on his face. "What'd you do to your hair—?"
"A-Am I too late?! Are you guys okay? Tell me you're okay." Miles accidentally interrupted while he looked at her, worried. Rio was already disoriented and bewildered at why he was acting like this but decided to answer honestly.
"I'm okay," she replied, perplexed. Abruptly, Miles hugged her by the shoulders tightly.
"You were right... you were right about everything.." Miles admitted before Rio just smiled. "Of course I'm right, I'm always right.. what am I right about—" she asked quietly until her son pulled away, not hearing her question as he still felt stressed.
He needed to tell her the truth, the entire truth. He was so tired of hiding the fact that he had a whole secret identity while Rio and Jeff were constantly concerned about him. Though they bugged him a lot because of his failing grades and absences in the past, Miles knew it was only because they were worried for his wellbeing.
" 'm sorry Mom... I know you know I've been lyin' to you.." Miles admitted with a hint of sorrow. Rio looked at her son, her eyebrow raised in curiosity as worry started to develop.
"It's 'cause I thought if you knew... you wouldn't see me the same anymore," Her son continued before he sighed and looked down, feeling uneasy.
"What do you want to tell me?" She asked with a look of seriousness now present on her face.
"You gotta promise nothin's gonna change," Miles responded first, hesitant to tell her. She noticed that he was becoming apprehensive.
"Hijo, I will always love you, I don't care what you say," Rio reassured, approaching him with a gentle smile. "¿ Tu me entiendes? (You understand me?)" She asked calmly yet she could tell Miles was still on edge.
Miles had his hands in his pockets while he continued to hesitate. Finally, he zipped down his winter jacket and showed her his suit.
"I'm spider-man," the curly-haired teen admitted, scared of his mom's reaction. An awkward silence sat between them. Rio kept looking back at him and the red spider logo on his suit with a bewildered look.
"Who's spider-man?" She finally responded which baffled Miles completely.
"The superhero? The one who got bit by a spider..? It gave him spider powers?" He responded before flicking short harmless webs out of his wrists. "He's me?" Miles said. He felt like he was stating the obvious yet Rio was still confused.
"Is this where like, you dress up as Y/N's favourite character? She always liked those comics and anime books like you did.. oh I forgot what they're called.." Rio responded before turning around towards his clean bed that piled his laundry. Miles was of course bemused, how the hell does she know you?
"Then the two of you would go to— Oh what's it called... like Comics-Con or something.." She continued while Miles was straight up puzzled. "I don't know what that is..?" He responded until Rio looked back at him and chuckled like he was joking. When she was certain that she had collected up all of his laundry, she left his room, with only Miles pursuing her.
"Mom, stop playin' around— this is serious!" Miles said as he zipped up his winter jacket again before following her.
"I mean— Dad didn't understand at that time but.." Miles started to get defensive but he couldn't explain so much detail without also getting lost. He leaned his head against the doorframe out of frustration. "Man I wish Dad was here to explain this..." he muttered to which his mom interrupted.
"Miles, please," Rio sighed, asking him to drop it already as she began walking around the house to see if there were any other chores to do. She looked back at him and noticed his distress.  She worriedly walked back to him and cupped his cheek with one hand while the other was still holding the hamper.
"I know you're still frustrated about Y/N but I got you to take care of, and I got me to take care of.. So help me out," Rio responded before letting her hand slip away as she stepped into the kitchen where she then started to arrange utensils and clothes. Miles was beyond puzzled when she mentioned Y/N again.
"What about Y/N.. how do you even—" Miles was about to ask until he suddenly felt an extremely painful sensation in his entire body. He felt distorted, and out of balance in excruciating pain. He almost collapsed if he hadn't held onto the shelf that tumbled a few books. Once it stopped, he widened his eyes out of realization. He was glitching.
That machine didn't send him home.
Miles heard the front doorknob shake before the door opened. His eyes widened. He could feel the fear, nostalgia and so much more in him when he suddenly saw him, his Uncle Aaron, in the flesh, alive. He had his signature smirk over his beard which had already grown longer and a little whiter. Miles was breathing quite fast, not knowing how to handle seeing someone who died in front of him before he was officially spider-man.
"Hey," Aaron approached him with a nod, sticking his hand out to dap him out. He noticed Miles' hesitance and was about to ask him if he was alright until the teen accepted and immediately hugged him. "Woah-" his uncle was baffled, surprised to see his niece suddenly hug him out of nowhere.
"Okay.." the bald man chuckled awkwardly before pulling away from his niece. He was surprised to see Miles' new hair all of a sudden. "You took your braids out man?" He pointed out with a small smile before he walked towards Rio.
"Y-Yeah— I'm getting used to it..?" Miles responded in confusion as he tried to get along with it.
Rio and Aaron were talking in the kitchen about her work while he reassured her about helping her out in the family and of course some money. Though he could hear their conversation clearly, Miles couldn't pay attention as he was beyond in disbelief. He kept thinking about so much stuff at once, specifically, how will he get out of this place.
His eyes looked down on the cold carpet in deep thought until his mom called out to him. "Miles, I have to work an overnight tonight. Here's the grocery list okay?" She held a small paper to Miles before Aaron gently took it from her fingers and shoved it in his jacket pocket.
"It's alright, I'll make sure he gets these done," he said before walking past Miles and giving him a side glance, a small way of telling him to follow him. The teen had a semi-worried look but still accepted.
Miles followed him out of the apartment and up the rooftop stairs, doing his best to blend in and not appear suspicious in front of his Uncle Aaron, who was discussing a plan Miles couldn't possibly follow. Once they reached the rooftop, Miles looked around in a stupefied frenzy after what he saw.
Most buildings were vandalized, some had fires while police alarms were constantly blaring even at this late night. Miles could hear numerous screams everywhere yet he couldn't even determine which one was where. A helicopter had even crashed down near a few buildings away in the sky yet Uncle Aaron paid no mind like this was the norm for him. It concerned Miles to the fullest.
"There's no spider-man here.." Miles muttered, his hands grasping the inside of his winter jacket tighter. He glanced up before he gasped in fear, the cold wind sending shivers down his spine.
What befuddled Miles with dread and dismay was what lay before him; a mural with two flickering lights above displaying graffiti art. It felt like his Uncle Aaron's death all over again when he saw the spray-painted portrait of his dad, with a small message; rest in power.
Miles couldn't even look away, his anxiety growing as more thoughts rushed into his mind. He feared for the worst, will this happen if he was too late? How long until his canon event happens? Will he be able to save his dad? Will he succeed..?
Aaron checked his phone after it chimed, his face solemn unlike before who only showed smirks and humor. The bright screen contradicted the dark night over the dangerous city yet the news he received was certainly eye-catching. His eyes slowly turned to Miles, who had a disturbed expression after seeing the mural. Miles didn't even notice until he could feel like death was staring at him.
His spider-senses reacted late as a sudden punch to the eye immediately knocked Miles down. Slipping into unconsciousness, he fell on the rooftop's dirty floor, a loud thud following soon after. A sudden headache developed as Miles slowly woke up. He couldn't open his left eyelid properly after such a hit. While his eyes slowly fluttered open, he tried to move his hands and body yet couldn't as he realized that he was tied up to the punching bag with sturdy metallic chains, the same one his Uncle Aaron owned before his apartment was renovated... The room was almost pitch black if it weren't for the windows that only showed the bustling lights of the perilous events outside and the small television Miles recognized in Uncle Aaron's living room that emitted light.
Miles struggled as he tried to blast the metallic chains tied around him yet struggled to do so. "Fuck.." he cursed under his breath. He looked around trying to find anything that could get him out of this situation yet when he looked up, he noticed something.. or someone at the distance.
Miles watched from the distance with an apprehensive expression. His movements were limited thanks to the chains as the figure dropped down from the wooden board close to the ceiling onto the floor with ease. It felt like one of Miles' sleep paralysis moments when the figure started to approach him, their narrow eyes were purple alongside the purple glowing claw-like gauntlet he wore on his right arm.
"Who- are you?" Miles asked after mustering up some courage and sense in his mind that it was only a person, not a monster. His sudden glitching caused the punching bag behind him to shake. He groaned in pain while the mysterious figure paid no mind and stopped in front of him, their appearance becoming clearer.
Their face was covered with a mask but Miles could tell by his masculine build it was a guy. A familiar prowler logo was sprayed on his shirt below the purple jacket he ported, it was clean but sloppy. Yet it got Miles thinking, wasn't Uncle Aaron supposed to be Prowler? Who was this person?
His doubt and curiosity were soon turned into pure astonishment after the figure's mask slowly unraveled. Miles felt like he was staring at his reflection which didn't match his at all. On one part, he noticed he had stress marks and darker eye bags than Miles which he maintained with his brooding expression.
"I'm supposed to be askin'" The prowler version of Miles scoffed with a bored scowl on his face. Miles seemed to breathe faster, he was running out of time.
"If I don't get home.. our dad's.. gonna die—"
"Your dad," His evil counterpart interrupted, emphasizing the obvious while he remained unfazed. Miles could already tell that convincing him would be hard but.. it was him he was talking to. He knows himself better than anyone yet when it comes to his counterpart, he doesn't know what to say.
Despite having almost the same appearances, their personalities and futures were nowhere near the same. Miles' canon event has yet to come but considering his counterpart's enigmatic self, his canon event must've been a terrible experience to the point he became reserved and melancholic. But what canon event would that be? Miles was huffing shortly until he stopped and had an idea.
"Please..." Miles sighed, looking at his counterpart in the eye. He was still worried but he sounded more serious than before. "You need to let me go.. if not for my dad.. then for Y/N," Miles confessed to which he saw his other version of himself suddenly widen his eyes. The spider-man could tell he ticked him off in some way he knew was a sensitive topic. Miles was about to continue until he saw his counterpart's expression turn to his enigmatic facade. He could sense a hint of extreme exasperation appearing thanks to his body language.
The prowler's clawed gauntlet suddenly fired up, a fizzling sound of electricity buzzing through the air as his hand turned into a tight fist. Miles hid his hesitation well enough that it pissed the Prowler off further to the point he did something drastic. What Miles didn't expect was his sharp gauntlet suddenly slamming the punching bag he was chained up to, just beside his cheek. The punch he left created holes for sand to slide down below Miles.
Miles' eyes widened as his heart began to race faster from the near-death experience. The claws on his gauntlet were sharp like razors and hot like blue flames. It landed a deep enough cut on Miles' cheek that made him close his eyes and hiss in pain. Yet strangely, he could feel the Prowler's dead glare on him more than the heat and the cut itself. Staring back at him felt like he was eyeing Malevolence itself.
"How the fuck do y'know her cabrón?" Miles G. hissed with a seething tone, the sharp claws pressing against Miles' skin further to the point drops of blood were dripping from his gauntlet, staining the floor.

The past two weeks have been a journey for you, to say the least. The three accepting people, All Might, Nezu, and Mr. Aizawa.. kind of, had been training you almost every day without a break for an entrance exam for UA, and you found them all challenging and fun to do at times. Since you would be considered a late-entry student, they warned you that the exam would be much more difficult. Luckily, Aizawa had taken off his bandages after healing from an incident he refused to explain. You didn't seem to mind. Thanks to his recovery, he was more adaptable and flexible during practice. The training was diverting, especially sparring with the black-haired man, whose expressions behind his yellow goggles were always priceless whenever you slipped through his tight scarf, which he used to mostly apprehend you.
"Don't watch the mouth, watch the hands!" You would grin and easily slide through the tight fabric before he'd get baffled. You could sense his eyes would widen while he would often activate his quirk on you whenever you shot webs to try and catch him, sometimes forgetting you can always nullify it.
Mr. Aizawa didn't just train you; he also offered or rather commanded, you to join him on underground patrols anytime the moon was shining every night. You had no idea why he would want you to accompany him on patrols since you didn't believe his poor reason that you'd cause trouble if left unsupervised. What made up for it was the sense of accomplishment when you caught a villain together; it was similar to travelling on missions to capture anomalies with other spider-people and returning them home.
On a side note, Principal Nezu allowed you to sojourn at his place since you had no one else to turn to. You appreciated his hospitality and politeness when it came to taking care of you. Despite being a strange animal, Nezu had a welcoming and warm residence, comfier than your dorm at Brooklyn Visions Academy. He gave you a room and a study lab for your future studies and experiments. You didn't want to admit it, but Nezu taught you better than your BVA professors. You practiced Japanese calligraphy, culture, and such, but while you found Linguistics in Japanese to be the most difficult apart from your training with All Might and Aizawa, it was also the most enjoyable at times.
All Might, on the other hand, introduced you to a lady named Kurose, who's a pro hero known as Thirteen. As she specialized in rescue and search training, she generously offered to train you at UA's battlegrounds whenever All Might was occupied. Toshinori was grateful for her help as you learned a lot from her but anytime she saw you glitch, like a normal person, she'd be concerned and ask if you were alright but you couldn't tell her. You didn't mistrust or feel threatened by Ms. Kurose at all but it was a part of an agreement you and Nezu made. Information can be spread fast like rapid dissemination, and Nezu was certainly not going to take any chance.
Nezu trusts the Pro Heroes more than you but the astonishing fact that you weren't affected by any quirk at all can be a huge advantage to an extreme extent. It's a miracle but also a dilemma at the same time. After the USJ incident that Aizawa refused to tell you, the investigation involving Shigaraki and his pet was put into question by the Pro Heroes. Your invulnerability against that man-child's quirk was certainly a gift brought from another dimension, as it'll play an effective role for your part. It's one of the reasons why Nezu and Toshinori accepted you with open arms, to teach you as proper mentors, so you'd never fall into the path of villainy. But after the district incident with the Vulture, they highly doubt you'd turn for the worse since you already possessed the characteristics and strengths of a hero, better than most heroes too.
The dilemma was that you don't belong here. It was never destined to be, just a coincidence. The longer you stayed on Earth 61860N, the harsher your glitching developed. It went beyond just your body glitching to your presence causing other items to warp and transform as the consequences lingered and were more unpleasant. You didn't even want to think about the times you were sore from training and suddenly started glitching; it was excruciatingly painful. It grew so terrible that the presence of your dimensional traces in your room began to distort more than usual. Even Nezu got concerned when he would occasionally return home from his job as the Principal of UA, perplexed as to why a piece of his home appeared to be distorting.
Toshinori knew you couldn't remain much longer and may die at any time, but he was doing everything he could to find a way to help you. He began reading innumerable books about universe ideas, pushing you to try medicine he had no idea was worthless, and even attempting to assuage your suffering whenever you glitched, but no matter how hard he tried, it always seemed impracticable. All Might wasn't particularly religious, but he hoped that any god who heard his prayers for your improved health would cooperate.
After a few more days of training, it was finally time for your entrance exam. You were a little nervous thanks to Aizawa's harsh words last time you trained together but you tried to stay optimistic and not let any dark thoughts plague your mind. If you fail then that's fine, if you succeed that'll be cool.
You were wearing a Japanese student gym uniform All Might bought for you for the exam. He claimed it could help you blend in with other students who were taking the same late-entry exam as you. Funny how it was only you in the single trial grounds. It took place inside a large training facility with multiple obstacles and test dummies, big and small, on standby or hidden in a clever position where no one would expect.
You were stretching your entire body and prepared for a warm-up near the entrance to the ruined areas. Meanwhile, the evaluators were focused solely on you atop the high building in the facility's safe zone. Behind them, All Might and Principal Nezu were watching the display screen in the lobby of the observing room. They felt uneasy to observe since the success rate of late-entry exams was exceptionally low; which explains why the majority of freshly enrolled students pass UA on their first attempt. Furthermore, organizing a new exam in the middle of a prestigious school year such as UA would be akin to winning millions of dollars.
You were starting to feel anxious again but after checking your phone, that Nezu provided for you, you could read All Might's text: 'Good luck on the exam young Y/N, We're rooting for you!'
It brought a hopeful smile to your face before you shut it off and placed it away. The exam had already begun and you needed to focus.

You were initially supposed to go with class 1-B since Vlad King's quirk worked better on you than Eraser Head's, but after some asking and convincing, Principal Nezu gave in and allowed you to stay under Aizawa's care. Usually, Aizawa would make a sardonic reply that'd leave you regretting your decision, but he was surprisingly different and decided to close his mouth.
The day started off normal, his class was obnoxiously loud in the morning until his presence was known inside his classroom.
"Morning," He tiredly announced to his class with his usual bored expression to which his strictness got them to sit up straight, afraid to get scolded. His silence was concerning his students. Are there bad news? Are there other villains? Why's he suddenly so quiet? Why's he just standing there?
What his class didn't expect at all was a girl stepping inside their classroom, wearing the same uniform as them with her school bag slung over her shoulder. They sighed in relief, knowing it wasn't any bad news. In fact, it was quite the opposite. The USJ incident was mostly a traumatizing event that Aizawa and his students were recovering from. Seeing a new face was strange but satisfying. Their homeroom teacher cleared his throat before finally introducing you.
"This is Y/N L/N, a new transfer student to UA's Hero Course. Starting now, she'll be joining class 1-A as your classmate. Treat her with respect," Eraser Head blandly proclaimed with his back slightly hunched from how tired he was from last night's patrol.
"Generally speaking, UA prohibits students from enrolling in the Hero Course, particularly after coursework and scheduling have been set. Even with ones who got accepted through Recommendations, late-entry evaluations are harder to pass than the initial entrance exam you kids went through," Aizawa looked back at you and directed his gaze to the empty student desk that the others hadn't even noticed until now. They were stupefied and dumbfounded as they watched you walk over to your seat and sit down, settling your bag beside your legs.
"L/N's efforts and achievements have been recognized as one that can match a Pro's, so learn from her." Aizawa asserted with the same enigmatic tone, a little shiver going down their class' spines. It was the first time he praised someone's achievements without naming another drawback. His students looked back at each other in confusion and curiosity, now they were definitely intrigued by you.
"Damn, she must be really strong to get into UA during the middle of the year.. No fairrrrr.. Mr. Aizawa has a favourite now?" A pink-haired girl pouted but whispered to her greenette friend behind her to which she nodded in agreement. She glanced at you holding a pen with your textbook on your desk. The girl admired your look of determination and focus even on your first day.
"But he's right Mina," Tsuyu ribbited as she placed her index finger on her chin. "Not gonna lie, I'm getting curious to know more about her," The green-haired girl spoke until Mina nodded eagerly.
"Let's talk to her after class! I'll bring along Kiri or Ochako! That way, we can make her feel included!" Mina suggested with a smile, she seemed to forget to whisper as Aizawa turned his attention back to her, a glare forming.
"Pay attention Ashido, another detention and we'll need to settle your disruptive behaviour with Hound Dog," Eraser Head threatened to which Mina seemed to tense up and focus back on what Aizawa was writing on the board.
'I have no clue what they even said..' You sweatdropped, realizing your Japanese could use some more help.

❝𝐆𝐖𝐄𝐍, 𝐇𝐈!❞
Jessica appeared behind the masked spider-woman, peaking to see her with an optimistic smile as she hoped for good news since Y/N was also on the mission. “Whatcha doin’?” She asked before Gwen turned around to see her orange hologram that just turned on out of nowhere.
“Nothing-! Good, everything’s all good! Going all according to plan so uhm— bye!” the blonde dismissed as she then turned off the hologram, only for Jessica to reappear again and walk beside her.
“Soooo where’s the bad guy you and Y/N were supposed to monitor??” Jessica questioned, hoping for a good answer for why he wasn’t there.
“He kinda stepped out for a bit—"
“Dude!!” Jessica groaned. “Look, he’s only just the villain of the week, no big deal!” Gwen tried to explain but she could already tell by her mentor’s voice that she was disappointed. She turned around to see the huge mess that the Spot left, noticing how intensely grubby the place was.
“Jesus Christ— Lyla!” Jessica called out the AI while Gwen tried to refuse, only to be ignored when the tiny brunette appeared beside her and started to track the Spot through the dark matter he left out. The small lyrate lifeform summoned its dimensional coordinates easily.
“Trackingggg… Hold on— got him! Oh, whoops never mind..” Lyla tried to catch the Spot’s location yet it changed from dimension to dimension quickly. “Damn, slippery guy,” the AI commented as she continued to track him down. Jessica turned back at Gwen with a serious look.
“Did you go see your lil’ friend? Miles?” The black-haired woman asked, hoping for the truth.
“I-I mean..” Gwen tried to make another excuse but had nothing in mind, only covering her face with her hood. Jessica immediately understood. “Are you kidding me right now?!” She exclaimed in frustration.
“Only briefly! From afar!” Gwen responded before her mentor rolled her eyes. Her arms were crossed as she looked at the blonde with disappointment. She sighed since she couldn’t do much about it now. In the meantime, Lyla glitched back next to Jessica’s shoulder, watching Gwen make up excuses until admitting the truth shyly.
The AI looked around, scanning the area again, not noticing Miles who was still hiding behind the air duct so he wouldn’t get caught. She turned back towards the two. “Hey, where’s Y/N??” The small AI noticed before Jessica looked back at her, perplexed.
Jessica’s head turned to face the teenaged spider-woman. “Yeah Gwen, where’s she?” She inquired, her eyebrows a little furrowed.
“Maybe went back to her dimension??” Lyla suggested, thinking of that possibility before Jessica shook her head.
“Nah, she can’t be, she’s not the type to leave suddenly without reporting the mission’s complete,” She responded before Lyla hummed, thinking of another reason why you weren’t here.
“I’ll try tracking her!” The AI proposed with a smile, thinking it was an easy job she could get a good job from. She then tapped the dimensional system to summon the multiversal map, She tapped a few buttons until a red warning appeared on the screen. Her eyebrows suddenly furrowed before she dismissed it with a click of her fingertips and tried to track you down again via your gizmo’s multiversal coordinates yet instead of a few red pop-ups, it was glitching. The silent cursing coming from Lyla’s voice left Jessica confused.
“What’s going on?” Jessica asked with her eyebrow raised while Lyla sighed in frustration.
“Can’t track her down, her gizmo might be damaged,” the AI responded, a hint of worry in her voice since this type of dilemma was rare, gizmos were indestructible and could only be inoperable if she or Miguel disabled it directly. Jessica’s eyes widened until she tried to think of another way to solve this problem.
“Try the anomaly bounty logs, is her name and data on the list?” The spider-woman asked, adjusting her mask before Lyla followed and summoned a huge screen that circled the entire room. Gwen watched in fascination, never knowing about this feature. Meanwhile, Miles still hid behind the air duct, mesmerized and intrigued by the data collected he barely knew of.
Lyla rummaged through the list and went through every file she opened with her holographic hands yet so far, she couldn’t find anything about you. She tried remembering via any dimensional memory but unfortunately couldn’t.
“The archives’ clean, no dangerous anomalies near canon events yet, all versions of Y/N are in their proper dimensions.. except for our Y/N though,” the lyrate lifeform listed. “The closest thing I could even find is Y/NPool getting carried by another spider-man in Earth 26-9O,” she pouted. “And it’s not even an anomaly,”
Jessica only sighed and tapped a few buttons on her gizmo before she initiated the replay again. Gwen panicked, hoping to find a way to stop Jessica from revealing what happened.
“Wait— we don’t need to do that——“
“Initializing replay.”’ the system announced as it then summoned holographic projectors. Jessica and Lyla watched how it played out while Gwen worried about their reactions
What the two of them saw made their jaws drop in great astonishment. When the replay was completed, the spider-woman immediately looked back at Gwen.
“You left Y/N to fight the Spot alone?!” She yelled, her tone frightening Gwen a little knowing well enough that she was in big trouble.
Miles watched how Jessica continued to reprimand Gwen when she could only try to respond in weak stutters. He glared at her, he knew she was in the wrong but did the woman have to yell at her?
“I-I tried to catch up.! But he arrived quicker than expected—" Gwen tried to explain until Jessica interrupted her with a frown behind her mask.
“You were supposed to keep an eye on the villain together! Not let the other one do all of the work!!” She scolded with an angry stare. The spider-woman couldn’t even comprehend her immature and irresponsible acts. Meanwhile, Lyla turned back to the multiversal map displayed. She noticed how the Spot’s dimensional coordinates started to move at lightning speed, from one dimension to another, it was getting worrying.
“H-Hey guys— he’s making his own portals,” Lyla pointed out before Miles could almost step in and defend Gwen from Jessica. The two turned to face the display of coordinates from other universes as the pregnant woman widened her eyes. “He can jump through any dimension, he can be a crazy canon killer..”
Jessica scowled and turned back to Gwen. “You said he’s a villain of the week!” She said. “Do you know how bad this is for you?!” She exclaimed while Gwen felt a burning sensation behind her eyes and mask.
“Every dimension he stops has an Alchemax.” the lyrate lifeform also pointed out, her hand on her chin to think of a possible solution.
“L-Look I know I messed up okay.?! I-I want to make up for it..” she tried to reassure yet her holograph slowly turned her back on her. “Your friend can’t be part of this,” she sighed. Gwen already knew that, yet no matter how many times she heard that same sentence, she could never get over it.
Gwen only lowered her head. “I-I know… I’ll never see him again,” she mumbled quietly. “No kidding,” Jessica retorted with a scoff.
Lyla's eyes twinkled in excitement and success as she finally managed to catch the Spot’s location. She smiled, unaffected by the quarrel between the two.
“I got him! Earth 50101,” She announced and glitched back beside them. “Spider’s in the current area, what’dya wanna do?” The AI asked, waiting for her command impatiently.
Jessica sighed and looked back at Gwen, her hologram flickering. “Alert the local spider, tell him Gwen will meet him there shortly,”

“Where the hell am I?” You asked yourself, confused. Your surroundings were a big blur; looking around the large similar Japanese billboards and ad commercials on the skyscrapers. A city lay below you, it was a lively and crowded one yet you were unfamiliar with the environment. Maybe it’s Peni Parker’s universe? She is from Earth 14512, so maybe this was the Year 3146 in her futuristic New York City.
You looked down at your gizmo, pressing a few buttons to initialize a portal back to Earth 928, yet after a few seconds, a screen popped up on the two-dimensional screen: Portal Initiliazing Failed, Please Try again.
“C’mon.. c’mon…” your eyebrows furrowed and watched its’ screen try to load by connecting through any close dimensional servicing yet it failed. It started to overheat and cling to your wrist tighter. You gasped, trying to pull the watch off your wrist yet it only turned hotter that the screen started to break with multiple warning signs. It suddenly created a small explosion, making you gasp.
“Hggnh—!” You winced in pain, coughing from the smoke that appeared. You fanned the gray fog away until you saw your gizmo, broken with multiple cracks on the screen.
“Fuck..” you groaned, your hand retrieving the gizmo from your wrist and carefully taking it out. You hissed in pain when you saw the burn mark left on your now-open forearm. Instead of throwing the watch away, you kept it in your suit’s pocket.
You shot your webs from your fingertips at ease as usual and were about to land on top of another skyscraper until you felt a burning sensation from the sudden glitching.
You started to lose altitude, your masked face getting hit by the sudden gust of wind. You breathed heavily and pulled yourself up with the strong webbing before you could fall to your death. You carefully climbed back up on another building and sat down by the edge, panting.
Your other hand reached to take off your mask, letting you breathe normally. “This is bad..” you whimpered, looking down at the bright lights below through the city. Any normal person would enjoy the high view. On the other hand, your heart raced as you felt tense. So tense you could feel your head pulse.
You glitched again, the pain bringing immense damage to your entire body. You knew you didn’t belong here, you were never supposed to come here. Yet here you were, stuck in Earth 14512.
Or so you thought.
Your spider senses suddenly activated when you turned around to look behind you. A large explosion-like sound reached your ears as you heard multiple police sirens. You stood up from the edge, immediately putting your mask back on.
With easy flicks from your fingertips, your webs quickly carried you to the scene where you could make out fire from the distance. Your eyes squinted behind your mask, wondering what could’ve happened.
When you landed by the top of an apartment complex, you saw the district mostly on fire with dozens of citizens running away from the burning heat while firefighters tried to fight it off. You could hear their despairing screams, shouting for help.
With a quick boost of speed, you jumped down, aiming your webs at the injured victims. Each string struck their chest or back before you grasped all the webs and pulled on them. As they thought it’d be their final moments, you landed them on safe grounds with ease. Their worry and fear turned into relief when all of them were saved, even the ones under the rubble. What they thought to be a pro hero turned out to be one masked person, their identity unknown to the public as they continued to swing around through the air with ease. They watched how the figure moved in the air with so much ease and agility but they were curious to know who you were. Saving dozens of people in a small matter of time with no one but yourself is a huge accomplishment that everyone praised.
“Who are they..?”
“Are they a new hero?”
“Why do they have a mask?”
“They’re so cool..”
Though you could hear their praise, you ignored it. Flattery couldn’t save dying citizens nearby anyway. With your secure webbing, you maneuvered yourself accessibly through small spaces to catch the few left in the fire. You can feel the heat of the enormous fire almost burn your suit while helping the others land safely next to other victims. But you couldn’t complain, after all, you dealt worse back in multiple dimensions. After you saved and carried an injured boy on your back before passing him to his mother, you turned around, sensing another danger thanks to your spider-senses.
“Help! Please..! Cough.. cough.. Someone!!” A feminine and apprehensive voice exclaimed through the flames, they sounded hoarse and tired from screaming while breathing through such fog. You swung past the smog effortlessly, attaching your webs to multiple buildings to propel into the air instantaneously. After landing safely, your eyes widened at the sight before you.
Though you were in a different dimension, you were able to recognize the familiar anomaly from another universe. What lay before you was a glitching Vulture with a brown outline, like from an old sketchbook. You squinted your eyes, trying to get a better view of who could this Vulture be. You realized once his wings extended into the sky that revealed his craftsmanlike parts while he held the screaming victim carelessly, that must’ve been her voice.
“Ohhh.. that Renaissance Vulture,” you hummed. You knew him from Miguel’s missions months ago since he asked you to accompany him to Earth 65. It was how you met Gwen actually. The anomaly reminded you of your encounter with the blonde, how she panicked to see her dad encaged by Miguel’s gadget while you reassured her. Time and the existence of the spiderverse brought you closer.
Back to the present, the Vulture flew around to face you, his mouth gaping and his eyes opening wider. He seemed to slow down to observe you before he immediately recognized you. “Che diamine— it’s you!” The Vulture roared, his grip on the poor woman tightened as she screamed in pain. It got her straining when he recklessly glitched again.
“Un altro di quei fastidiosi ragni..” He glared at you, a burning hatred in his eyes. “You could never defeat me! I am the epitome of a man’s intelligence!” He screamed at the top of his lungs before you started to fire your webs to pull yourself up in the sky.
With swift movement, you kicked the Renaissance Vulture in the face and as he let out a groan, his claws dropped the lady he held hostage. You quickly caught her with your webs before she could fall to her death. When the Vulture recovered, his glare intensified while he watched you easily beat him. It didn’t feel like he was the epitome of a man’s intelligence at all…
“Che maledetta seccatura.. damn spider..” He snapped as he watched you take away his victim so effortlessly. It angered him, spiders like you always made a fool out of him every time he would fight. After you carried the lady back down to the safe crowd, you met him face-to-face on top of a building. He was ready to unleash his artisanal weapons, aiming them directly at you before firing them off. Their precisions were precise yet it wouldn’t be enough for you.
You managed to dodge them all by firing your webs at each weapon. The strings brought them all together before they exploded into a ginormous one. Though it almost damaged the buildings, you were thankful it didn’t hurt anyone else. After that whole commotion, your fingertips released more strings before you pulled yourself up to face the Vulture in midair.
“You troublesome brat!” He roared, flapping his wings harder to blow you away. His fake beak tried to pierce you when you started to climb on top of him. “That could really hurt man,” you pout behind your mask. With you on top of him, you started to rip his paper-textured wings into shreds aggressively, throwing the old yellow vellum paper into the wind.
The Vulture noticed and began to panic. “What are you doing?!” He yelled, he didn’t want to fall to his death as he tried to shake you off of him by flying in all directions. Unfortunately for him, you also took his jet pack thruster and threw it somewhere. “You little—!” He stopped himself when he realized he was falling, the hard air hitting his face. He widened his eyes as he panicked, trying to claw at a building to save himself until he felt your webs tie him easily, even covering his beak.
The Vulture’s body hit the ground, causing more debris to clash when he left a hole in the city road. You were standing on top of his body, mostly unharmed while you pulled on your webs, tightening your grip on the creature.
You jumped down his damaged wings, apologizing shortly. “Sorry man,” you shrugged before he only looked up to glare at you but he knew he was too damaged to even walk. You sighed out of exhaustion from the battle and began to leave the police until your eyes widened when so many people began flooding your way.
“Woaahhh, woah—" your sweat dropped when they all approached you, praising your hard work for saving them. Their cheers were almost making you deaf as you tried to move your way through them. What made it worse was that you didn’t fully understand what they were saying. You knew nothing about Japan except for the animes that you, Gwen and Hobie were watching the last time you had a sleepover with them and the fact that your Linguistics professor was teaching you about Japan. It doesn’t mean you don’t understand all of it.
“You were amazing out there!!” One said, cupping your unoccupied hand before you had to pull away forcefully.
“What’s your hero name??!” Another one asked.
“You’re so cool!!”
You felt more suffocated when the crowd grew and came closer, invading your space. You were getting concerned that you’d accidentally leave the anomaly behind before the Vulture could rearm and cause havoc again. You gulped down your saliva, not knowing how to escape until you heard more voices that caught the people’s attention.
They turned their backs on you, ignoring you now as they paid more attention to the others who came. With little understanding, you understood what they said.
“It’s All Might!! and Best Jeanist!!” Someone exclaimed, it felt like the number of people doubled just from those two appearing. You were glad but curious to know who they were. Besides, it wasn’t often that a citizen would ignore a spider-woman. Yet at the same time, you had to bring this passed-out Vulture to a collider before he caused more havoc.
With a quick whirl of your webs, you escaped the area while carrying the massive Renaissance Vulture on one arm.
“Step aside my people, I am here—” All Might smiled brighter if that was even possible before gently stepping aside in front of his fans. His grin turned a little upside down when he realized that the villain was gone. He couldn’t pay attention to his fans either when he saw all of the injured safe with the paramedics at a safe area a few meters away. The fire was being put out by Backdraft alongside the fire department and the villain was already gone. ‘They could be hiding’ Toshinori thought.
“All Might,” Best Jeanist spoke, making Toshinori turn to face the Pro Hero. “The report confirmed that it was a beast-like man with wings and weapons. We should tread carefully,” He suggested before the number one Pro Hero nodded.
“But Sir Jeanist, another hero caught the villain already!” One boy with a small scratch on his face exclaimed. The two heroes looked back at each other, confused. No report from the police confirmed that a hero cleared the area, and neither did they say who it was.
“What do you mean young one??” All Might leaned down to face the boy, an optimistic grin still present. It got the kid a little nervous since his favourite hero was talking to him, it was a dream come true. “A-A person— I think it was a lady.. s-she saved me when I was under the rubble..” He mumbled, his hand instinctively touching his scratched cheek. “If it weren’t for her.. I think I would’ve gotten more than this scratch and I would’ve never seen mommy again..” He shyly admitted before All Might’s heart warmed from his words.
Best Jeanist leaned down as well, asking the boy a question. “Please describe what this lady looked like,”
You began running from rooftop to rooftop swiftly while carrying the Vulture. You were trying to find any Alchemax present yet you couldn’t find it anywhere. In each universe, every Alchemax looked the same and had the same logo so imagine your confusion. It didn’t help that you and the Vulture constantly glitched, almost making you fall from time to time.
‘Where is that damn Alchemax?’ You grunted, getting frustrated while you swung another web freely, doing quick acrobatics. It got you past small spaces for easier routes but you still couldn’t find any logo that matched Alchemax’s.
A figure lurked by near the corner of a building you just passed by. She slightly shivered from the thin clothing she wore and the sudden short gust of wind that came on this cold night. She looked up if the air would blow colder until she spotted you moving around at lightning speed with the thin strings you had. Her dark blue eyebrows were raised, wondering who could it be and why was she carrying a giant creature?
Midnight started to run in your direction, concerned it might be a villain saving another villain from the trouble they both caused. After all, Pro Heroes don’t necessarily cover their face with a mask and hide their identities. She jumped on each building’s floor and climbed her way to a rooftop. The pro hero raced after her again as she tried to keep up with her fast swinging and agility yet almost couldn’t. Every step she took, it was like twelve more for you.
“Quick for a villain..” Midnight mumbled as she panted when she almost started to give up. It wasn’t suitable to run in heels after all. She paused for a bit and took a breather, her chest slightly heaving. She then heard a sound from the earpiece she wore. It was a way of communicating with other local heroes near the area to help or ask questions. The woman mostly used it to goof off with Yamada but right now was slightly serious. She tapped on her earbud before talking. “Are there any heroes nearby?” She asked before another voice spoke up. She recognized the Third Pro Hero’s voice.
“What’s the problem Midnight??” The Third Pro Hero asked, seemingly chill despite being on patrol.
“A villain’s using webs I’m guessing to swing around the neighbourhood. Twelve o’clock, near the principal residential complexes, can’t see their features, a mask is covering their face andddd.. they’re carrying a giant creature-person while swinging away.” Midnight described as she began to run again, hoping to catch up. She jumped from one building to another yet it was already hopeless when you disappeared. Midnight grunted, a little disappointed in herself. She heard the other line speak again before she sighed in relief at what Hawks said.
“I’ll be there, I’ll cut ‘em off,” He responded before the earbud turned off again.
Hawks’ wings extended as his feathers fluttered in the cool air on top of a cellular tower with his leftover empty packet of chicken nuggets near the panels. He put his yellow visor back on before he instantaneously jumped down and began to fly away. The wind breezed over his face and feathers as he descended closer to the ground. As he looked around, he was amazed to see numerous webs crisscrossing between the buildings and lampposts. He flew down to touch one before it immediately disintegrated after he touched it. When he went to see the rest, they all started to disappear.
“This person definitely didn’t want to leave a trace..” He sighed, rubbing the small disintegrated webs against his gloved fingers. He wiped it off before he continued his pursuit to find that strange villain.
On the other hand, you were swinging away into the shadows with the Vulture still passed out. You still haven’t found any Alchemax so you gave up on that idea and decided to just bring the Vulture with you anywhere you went. You weren’t supposed to bring him to the police because the goal of getting rid of the anomaly is by sending it home in its proper dimension to protect canon events from disruption.
While you were taking a breather, sticking to a wall with your mask off, your spider senses suddenly tingled when you felt someone trying to persuade you. Your senses weren’t so strong so you guessed that person was still a bit far away but it didn’t change the fact it was a problem. You put your mask back on and jumped off the wall, swinging away with the Vulture.
You continued to agilely maneuver yourself with your webs until your spider senses tingled again. Turning around mid-air, you widened your eyes behind your mask when you noticed a pair of red feathers trying to pierce you. You dodged one, swinging away faster yet it kept changing directions.
“What the hell kind of feathers are those?!” You grunted, pulling yourself against a wall with your body connecting to the bricks while you hid around a corner from whoever came by. You heard wings flapping near the distance as the feathers suddenly stopped following you. You looked behind the corner and saw a red-winged man with messy blonde hair and a visor covering his eyes.
He looked in your direction, smirking while you were confused about how he suddenly saw you.
“C’monnn get out of the corner, you look really lame as a villain right now. This your first time saving your pal man?” The man asked as he began to fly in your direction. You cursed under your breath, climbing up the building while the Vulture rested on your back. You didn’t know a single thing of what he said in Japanese by the way.
You faced the winged man after you reached the rooftop while he smirked further, almost like he was chuckling. “You look bald with that mask buddy just sayin’” He snickered while you just stood there with the huge creature on your back. He stopped chuckling before he let his shoes touch the edge of the rooftop while his wings spread wide and proud.
“But seriously, make this easy for me and surrender. I’ll try to give you a less.. severe sentence?” He suggested with a smirk but you knew he was being serious. You sighed and placed the Vulture off your back, making your spine more comfortable and flexible before speaking. You looked back at the red-winged human.
“Look man, I’m just trying to do my job here. This guy?” You gestured to the sleeping Vulture. “He doesn’t belong here, neither do I,” You said, hoping he could understand your English while he still kept that grin.
“Well at least you know your place, dirty scum villains like you make heroes laugh,” he chuckled. You widened your eyes when he realized he could speak English before you pouted behind your mask. It was clear he was treating you like a joke.
“Hey!! I’m not a villain, I’m from another dimension okay? I don’t belong here— as in, I shouldn’t be here and neither is that creature supposed to be,” you explained in better terms, hoping he could understand what you meant.
“I won’t last here long so— if you could just spare me the time and energy… you won’t see me or that Vulture again, mkay?” You said but he only just sighed and approached you further.
“Sorry man, can’t trust someone who can’t even show their face. Besides.. I think you’ve been reading tooooo many comics- I mean, another dimension?” Hawks chuckled and flew around you. “That’s new,” He added before he faced you once more. You could notice that his eyes were golden yellow behind his visor.
“Besides.. you broke a law. Can’t use your quirk outside in public kid,” He said but he noticed how quick you were to get confused.
“What’s a quirk?” you asked until you saw how his face almost dropped, his expression was dumbfounded.
“You’re playin’ with me right now are you-?” Hawks responded before you shook your head no. “No idea what that means man,” You replied.
Hawks sighed at your attempt to pretend. It started to irritate him when you kept acting dumb and how you kept explaining how you’re from a different universe. It almost made him lose his faith in teenagers. He plucked one of his feathers out before most of them detached from his back as you widened your eyes. You watched them all point to you as if they were weapons. You’ve seen other weird phenomena across copious dimensions but this was definitely new. Feathers were light and harmless, now they were aimed at you like bullets ready.
“Listen kid, I don’t have time for this,” Hawks frowned. “Either you make it easier for yourself and turn yourself in now or make this worse by holdin’ out,” His eyebrows furrowed while he placed his hands into his pockets. You sighed, seemingly about to give up. It softened him to know you were finally facing reality and not delusion.
What he didn't expect was a web suddenly fired into his face. “H-Hngh..!” Hawks grunted, blinded by the sticky web. He heard you pick up the heavy creature and began running away not until you shouted an apology. “Sorry!!” You exclaimed.
You jumped down the building and shot your web before pulling yourself away from the red-winged man. You tried to keep a good grip until your spider senses tingled again. You turned around mid-air to see the feathers catching up to you, their soft texture looked like it hardened. You widened your eyes when you saw how they went faster and almost stabbed your back. You dodged mid-air, holding the Vulture tighter.
You passed through most of the feathers as they bristled against your suit but one of them unfortunately sliced the fabric on your hip before you winced. You shot a web at that feather but it suddenly changed directions, retreating away. In fact, all the feathers persuading you were retreating.
“What the..?” You looked back in confusion before your eyes widened in shock. The same guy already caught up to you with one of his largest feathers in hand, almost ready to kill. He had his visor off but his cheeks and upper lip still had sticky webs.
“Told ya to stop fooling around..” He muttered as he was ready to slice you. Out of instinct, you kicked him hard enough before shooting multiple webs at his wings.
You stabilized his movements for a short while as he started to fall until he suddenly gripped your torso, causing you to drop the Vulture. His head fell first on the road before the impact caused debris around his body.
“What— hey!!” You exclaimed when Hawks held onto you. You were trying to push him away but you noticed how his fierce red wings extended further and flapped into the air. The web you were holding onto snapped so suddenly, making you confused.
“Your webs are hard to cut..” He pointed out as he then moved his hands to your waist to grip you tighter. “Good thing my feathers are better,” he smugly said.
“Let me go weird bird!” You screamed and aimed your hand at his face not until he used his other hand and brought it against your hip.
Angered, you used your other hand quickly and shot multiple stronger webs at his face. He grunted again when his vision was suddenly off again. You and your webs.. it annoyed him further.
He started to lose balance and control while he couldn’t see. He wanted to rip the webs off his face again but he couldn’t let you, as a villain, escape.
You panted when you saw how close the two of you were falling to your deaths. With your arms immobilized and his vision blocked, you were stressing. His grip was too tight on your body to even move, it was clear he didn’t want you to escape. With the failing altitude, Hawks’ wings began to wrap around the two of you for protection.
Then suddenly, you heard a large crash of debris coming under the road. Turning your head around, you saw giant branches coming out of the ground. You don’t remember that in the middle of the road at all. It was shaped smooth to catch the two of you together safely.
“Oof..!” You grunted when you fell on the branch alongside Hawks. You tried sitting up but his grip was still strong. In the distance, you heard police sirens.
A figure climbed up the giant branch easily. He had a dark blue bodysuit with a wooden helmet that covered his face as well as a few roses on his hip below his belt.
The man rushed towards the two of you, his eyes widened at the sight of Hawks’ face covered in webs as well as his arms wrapped tightly around you. He then turned his attention to you, his eyes seemed to widen more.
You watched as the figure tapped on the earpiece hidden under his helmet before speaking. “All Might, the police and I are here. We found the masked villain thanks to Hawks. They match the description you broadcasted.” He explained while you looked up to him confused.
Your head turned when you heard the sound of a pair of heels clicking. You noticed it was the same woman who followed you before Hawks.
She lifted her thin red mask and smiled. “Good job catching them Kamui Woods,”
The same man nodded before he crouched down and observed your confused face. In a quick instant, he suddenly took your mask off.
“What the—“ your eyes widened from the sudden action before you glared at him. Midnight walked next to him until she saw your hair that fell over your face. She wasn’t gonna lie, but you were pretty.
“Ooh, it’s a girl!” She exclaimed happily while Kamui Woods looked at her, dumbfounded.
“Why’re you happy? She’s a villain..” He responded.
“Shame that she is though, she would’ve been a pretty capable hero..” The hero sighed in defeat before she crouched down next to him.
She then moved your hair away to catch a glimpse of your face. She gasped happily.
“She’s so pretty!!” Midnight smiled while Kamui rolled his eyes.
“Just use your quirk..” Kamui said before standing up and turning his back on you. “We’ll take her to the police station after we tie up the creature stuck under the debris,” with that, he began to walk away.
Midnight only shrugged as she then ripped the thin fabric of her hero costume off. Her violet mist started to emit from her body while it released a soft soothing aroma. Her eyes suddenly widened when she saw what happened. Hawks reacted exactly as she expected, asleep.
“Why isn’t my quirk working?”
Tumblr media
You were crouched into a ball inside the wooden cocoon that the man trapped you in. It felt like a bumpy ride all the while being carried somewhere you don’t even know. You yawned out of exhaustion, tired of the events and the fights you had to go through today.
Kamui Woods brought you into the police station with a cocoon as a cage. His eyes trailed to the symbol of hope in his normal form standing next to a few detectives being interrogated. The number one pro hero turned to him after he noticed he was staring. He approached with a gentle smile.
“Nishiya,” Toshinori spoke. “How’s the villain?” He asked curiously.
Kamui Woods dropped the cocoon down before the wood broke into pieces, revealing you with your wrists and ankles tied together with thick layers of leaves
“Where am I?” You groaned before yawning tiredly. All Might tilted his head to the side, it was rare to encounter non-speaking Japanese people before.
“Hello young lady,” He greeted before he helped you up. You were thankful for his kindness even though you were considered a bad guy thanks to Hawks.
“Please follow me,” the blond man gently spoke and gestured for you to follow him. Feeling safe around him, you walked behind him into the long hallway.
He opened the door for you to an interrogation room. You entered before he made you sit down across him. The light was dim but you could still notice the few people that appeared behind him. One of them was a scarfed man with black long hair that leaned against the wall. The other was a short white bear with a small suit while the last one was the same lady who was chasing after you.
You watched as the black-haired man approached and took a seat beside the kind man who helped you up earlier, his legs crossed tiredly.
“Young lady.. do you know why you’re here?” He asked as his hand was placed on the table.
“I broke a law?” You responded, stating the obvious while he had no reaction, clearly bored from your sarcasm.
“Kids like you clearly don’t understand the consequences of your actions. Do you just suddenly forget that using your quirk in public without a permit is prohibited?” He explained while you just shrugged.
“Now now EraserHead.. don’t provoke her,” the blond beside him replied. “She’s the reason why a whole district was saved by that mysterious creature. Without her, there would’ve been more damage..”
“Do I look like I care?” he asked. “She can be sent to juvy after what she’s done..”
They continued to bicker about your behaviour, justifying if it was wrong or right while the other two behind them got a little worried. You weren’t even listening anymore, getting more tired and worried after all that happened. The Spot, your gizmo getting damaged, the Renaissance Vulture, anomalies, and Hawks chasing after you, were causing a headache worse than ever. So suddenly, you started to glitch constantly which caught their attention.
“What’s happening..?” Toshinori asked, getting up to his chair and rushing towards you. He carefully placed his palm on your shoulder, rubbing it to soothe the pain.
“It’s just glitching..” you responded in a small quiet tone. “It’s what happens when I’m not from another dimension without something to protect me,” you mumbled, placing your chin on the palm of your hand on the table.
Toshinori seemed worried while Aizawa was confused. The small white bear named Nezu stepped out of the shadow and climbed on the table to match the other men’s heights.
“I’ve never seen such a phenomenon before..” the bear spoke, observing how you glitched again.
“Just please take me to Alchemax..” you groaned. “It’s the only shot I have I can get back home,”
“Alchemax?” Aizawa repeated, looking to Nezu who didn’t know what you meant either. The confusion on their faces made your eyes wide and your jaw drop.
“You don’t have one.?” You mumbled, getting hesitant. “Is there at least a collider? A spider-man.?!” You worriedly asked, your anxious expression turning worse.
“Apologies.. we don’t know what you’re talking about..” Nezu confirmed until you felt all hope drain out of you. Your eyes lowered down on the table while All Might got worried.
“I’m gonna die here..” you sighed in defeat.
“Young lady,” the number one pro hero spoke, catching your attention. “Please.. if you want us to help you.. you have to tell us more,” He said while tightening his grip on your shoulder. His expression showed sympathy and care yet it confused you on why he was so nice to someone he barely knew.
“You wouldn’t understand..” you groaned, looking away.
“It’s either you explain or we arrest you, right here right now,” Aizawa responded.
You bit your lip out of hesitation before you looked back at all of them. Since they were so willing to help, you told them everything. After all, they were your best shot.
You explained all about the multiverse, the secret force of spider-variants, canon events, anomalies and so much more. It took a while for them to understand considering how incomprehensible it was. Nezu seemed to understand easier than the rest of them as he tapped his furry paw on his chin.
“So the longer you stay here, the worse and more frequent the glitching will..” he pointed out before you nodded. He seemed surprised to know about the rules of the multiverse. It was strict but he knew it had to be respected.
“You’re a hero, right Y/N?“ All Might asked, happy to finally know your name. “Well.. since you’re still a teen.. how do you feel about joining a school for heroes in the meantime while we find a solution for your dilemma?” Toshinori suggested with a grin. Nezu seemed to love the idea while Aizawa huffed.
“I have brats to deal with All Might,” Aizawa frowned behind his messy hair. “Giving me another problem will mess up my sleep schedule further,”
“Oh please Aizawa,” Nezu giggled. “It is our job as the faculty of UA to assure the students’ guidance for the future and their safety.“ he responded before patting your hair with his soft paw. “You wouldn’t be neglecting poor Y/N now are you?” He asked with a sarcastic chuckle.
“She’s not even a student yet you already refer to her as one..” Aizawa groaned while All Might chuckled.
“Now hold on a second!!” Midnight exclaimed, making all of them, including you, turn their heads towards her. “We haven’t gotten into the fact that my quirk didn’t work for her!!”
“Truth be told..” you mumbled. “I think it didn’t work ‘cuz I’m from another dimension remember?” You responded to which she let out an ‘oh’ sound.
“If that’s the case, Aizawa how ‘bout you try your quirk on her?” All Might suggested before Shota nodded. He applied some eye drops before he activated his quirk Erasure.
“Try using your webs Y/N,” All Might said while you complied. You aimed your fingertips at a nearby wall and just as expected, webs sprung out immediately.
“Hmm..” Toshinori hummed while Aizawa widened his eyes when he realized his quirk didn’t work. “I suppose it was expected,” Nezu spoke.
“Well.. it’s more reason to get her into UA,” Midnight replied with a smirk. “Hope she’ll be in my homeroom class~”
“It’s not so easy,” Aizawa spoke as his quirk automatically turned off. He stepped over to you before lowering his long scarf. “It’ll be harder considering she’d be a late arrival student,”
“That is correct EraserHead,” Nezu nodded his head and turned himself towards you. “L/N, we strive for the best for our students as they will be our next-generation heroes. We count on them like how you count on us to help you.” He explained with a semi-serious look on his face. “Though school has already started, you will be facing extremely difficult exams. Show us you’re worth our help by passing to UA,”
Your eyebrows were raised while you hummed. “I’ll try my best then..” you mumbled before the short bear smiled.
“And if you do manage to get to UA.. please just address me as Principal Nezu,”

“WOAH!!” Miles exclaimed as he dodged the incoming desk thrown by Miguel, he could hear his constant cursing in Spanish.
“Oh so you’re worried about Spot and Y/N? Oh well, I’ll worry about them!” The spider-man 2099 exclaimed in frustration, Gwen tried to defend Miles but couldn’t after his rage burst.
“He blew another hole in the multiverse and expected me to calm down Gwen?!” He yelled, his fangs starting to slightly show.
“Not only is Y/N’s gizmo damaged, she’s lost in the middle of nowhere with no help! She’s not considered an anomaly either!” Miguel growled as he then got down from his floating space. He approached the two teenagers who were a little hesitant to be standing in front of him.
"This is your fault, Gwen," Miguel snarled after looking down at her. "If you hadn't goofed around with Miles and decided to help her instead...”
The man approached closer, with a glare that shown intense hatred. She could tell that he was trying to hold back.
“I don't know what Jessica saw in you but your actions make it clear over and over again.. that you're a damn liability." He glared while Gwen widened her eyes, taken aback by his words. She looked away in shame.
She looked down as little tears prickled her eyes. She quickly wiped them off to avoid embarrassment in front of Miles but she could already tell he knew.
Though Miles didn't know much about you, he wishes to find you again.

Tumblr media
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐀𝐓 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐊𝐋𝐘𝐍 𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐀𝐂𝐀𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐘 almost caused an impossible amount of property damage. Numerous had minor injuries, while some were severely wounded, but overall, no deaths occurred. News reporters were at the scene, interviewing policemen, detectives, victims, and the public to inform others through television. Countless ambulances were parked nearby to help the wounded. People were divided, with numerous supporting your actions for saving them while others blamed you for the damages. Yet what made your head spin from confusion was how no one was talking about the other Spider-Man, Miguel. You knew he was there and that you weren’t imagining anything else. His ignored presence made it seem like the public never saw him, almost like a ninja undercover but a spider-man! The event covered each newspaper and channel and even started to gain more attention on online platforms. The raging public against you was making up crazy allegations in hopes you could be sued, making petitions in hopes of finding out your identity. Thankfully, it was just a small amount of them, mostly the politicians who wanted to give credit to the police. They’ve been nothing but a thorn in your side anyway, like those detectives who always tried to find any evidence on you but unfortunately found nothing.
It had been almost a full two months, and they still hadn’t gotten over it. Brooklyn Visions Academy has been closed since the incident to let students and faculty recover and rebuild the school. You, on the other hand, enjoyed the free vacation. There was no need to worry about exams or studies with the extra months off. The green creature caused a lot of damage, and the fire could’ve burned down the entire school. It was by chance that you got to save the victims, and you were thankful that Miguel showed up to help you, even if it was for a different cause.
It had been a full blast since the Spider-Man of Earth 928 invited you to join his spider-society. You learned a lot about it, as a rookie, when you started following him with the multiversal gizmo, the name of the watch. He founded it as an elite crew and began by recruiting other spider-people from other dimensions to assist him in removing anomalies, or people or things that were not intended to be in another universe.
You were shocked to see how many spider-variants he recruited before you. You believed it was already around twenty. But ever since you joined, the number of spider-men started to grow larger and larger. You met so many new friends, learning new techniques from them as well as forming new friendships. It was something you enjoyed; all of them—except for Miguel, were so much identical to you, even by personality. It created such beautiful diversity in his society, and you never felt more at home.
And for the first time in a long time, you didn’t feel so alone anymore, knowing you weren’t the only one, the only one to carry the great power and responsibility as a spider-variant.
Miguel became your inspiration. He was strong, yet he remained the very sarcastic and aloof person he was. He was a man of few words, but you wanted to learn more from him and become stronger like him. His efforts to recruit more spider-variants from various universes piqued your interest, and you wanted to help him. He occasionally allowed you to assist his multiversal policing mission as a co-leader. The multiversal gizmo he gave you would occasionally beep, as it was his only means of communicating with you from another dimension. To keep it short, you were getting the hang of this spider society and often went on missions with other spider-men.
A few of them were your age, and you grew to like them. One of them was Gwen Stacy. You found her cool for having an eyebrow piercing and for playing drums while in a band. She had pretty blonde hair with a hint of pink, but a portion of it was buzzed off, which she joked about because it happened when a spider-man from another dimension accidentally forced her to cut it. She always mentioned that Spider-Man was sweet, friendly, selfless, and such to you. Gwen was likeable and friendly as well, but at times.. seemed more tense when she talked about her problems with her dad and her best friend, Peter. She would frequently make light of it while you were concerned for her.
“But hey.. stuff happens right? Canon events and all that stuff…” Gwen would say, with an aloof yet recognizable anxious tone.
Canon events. It was the only thing you hated about the rules of the multiverse. You never had it stored in your mind, as it caused your head to hurt, your spider-senses to go haywire, and, overall, it hurt you on the inside. Every spider-man had to go through it. Even you. Every time the words canon event were spoken out of someone’s mouth, your stomach would drop slowly as you remembered your canon event.
Tumblr media
You were in the rain, fighting your nemesis, who claimed to be the Venom of your universe. He was an extremely difficult opponent ever to beat and you often came back home limping with blood stains dripping off your shirt while you tried to hide it from your parents. You could feel their worried expressions often behind you, resulting in you feeling guilty. You just wanted to pour out your problems to a person who could understand you. You already knew friends and family weren’t the answer. In this line of work as a hero, you always act alone. Always by yourself. Aside from your worries, you could’ve sworn.. every time you could manage to escape your nemesis, it was like you were on your last days on Earth.
After hours of fighting under a monsoon in a large, dark alleyway, you could remember vividly that the rain was pouring down on both of you while you were breathing heavily, exhausted, and injured. Your wrists started to bleed out of your spider suit while you continued to shoot webs the entire time you were fighting Venom. He was tossing you around, gripping your head and smashing it through walls. You often spat out so much blood through your mask that you could remember drinking a litre full of it. Your eyes were wide and bloodshot, while your heart beat faster than a runner in a race. You clenched your fists as you felt the adrenaline in you, preventing you from giving up.
And in a fit of rage, you lost it. You remembered grabbing Venom’s forearm, gripping it so hard that you heard the host inside the creature’s bones shatter into pieces. You were silent during the entire fight; it wasn’t like any spider-variant. Usually, they’d make a sarcastic or humorous remark, but you weren’t playing around. You wanted him gone.
Venom’s limbs were tied individually to each wall of the alleyway’s buildings, as well as a tight noose formed by your webs on his neck supported by a billboard on top. He was weak for the first time in front of you. You couldn’t even take his presence anymore. You wanted him dead and gone, dismembered to the point where no one could ever find his body. You first pulled on all the webs to tighten their grip on him. They were thin enough to cut like a knife through his skin. His blood dropped down alongside the rain. After, you cut off all of them except for the one on his neck, leaving him to choke while you watched him suffer—the same criminal who killed one of your friends.
You remember him muttering your name, making you perplexed, but you were still heartless. You carelessly pulled his leg down as the venom’s skin started to melt. The gross substance ran down, staining you in the process before your eyes went wide. You quickly realized and as quick as you could, you cut the noose before his body collapsed onto yours.
“No.. no.. no… Peter, no,” you whimpered, cupping his beat-up face with your bloody glove. You quickly took off your spider mask. Tears built up in your eyes while you sniffled, and the blood from your nose dried. You caressed his cheek, moving any hair from his face in hopes of making him feel better. In his injured state, he slowly rested a hand on your soft-gloved fingers. When he saw your face, he couldn’t be more shocked. He winced as he tried to smile at you reassuringly, blood dripping from his mouth while his left bruised-up eye pulsed.
“I'm so sorry, Y/N… I.. I didn’t know you were spider-woman...” Peter blubbered, gripping your hand tighter. His hand slowly moved from your fingers to your face, cupping it as well while he wiped your fresh tears away before they could fall from your cheeks. “You’re so beautiful...” He admired you, smiling. He coughed out more blood, choking on the irony substance. He wanted to close his eyes but he hated the thought of leaving you. He tried to pull your face closer but most of his fingers were bent and broken. His consciousness drifted closer to leaving him. At least he could die in the arms of the one he truly loved.
“Parker, shut the hell up I’m getting you help, okay?! Don’t die on me!” You fussed, crying more as you wiped away the rain that poured down on his face. You brought his injured body into your arms. "No, no, no, please, Peter,” your sobs were muffled on his neck, your chest heaving as well. Your hand went to his wrist to quickly check his pulse, noticing it was already gone.
That night, a part of you died, knowing that your best friend, Peter Parker, was your nemesis and best friend all along. It was one of your canon events.

In the early hours of Earth 926-Z’s New York, you were dozing off in one of your dorm’s couches with a blanket over your chest. You were too drowsy to pay attention to your gizmo which beeped again. The gadget vibrated on your wrist before its screen automatically flipped open as it activated the portal’s access. Some of your objects started to float before the familiar colourful hexagons were summoned as they started to circle. You put a hand over your eyes, groaning when the brightness annoyed you. You tried to get more sleep until you heard footsteps. When your spider-senses buzzed, you peeked through your fingers with your exhausted eyes.
“Heeey Y/N, just thought I’d drop by,” the familiar voice said. It was Jessica Drew, one of the spider-women of the spider-society. She looked down at you, who slept on one of your dorm’s couches, tired. She chuckled at how drowsy you were; it was understandable since you were out fighting and catching anomalies with Hobie last night.
“Told ya not to get overboard,” Another familiar voice said. Your tired eyes looked up and saw the mini Lyla, Miguel’s sassy but highly intelligent AI. She flashed a smirk with her small virtual body in the air next to Jessica’s head by a few inches. She adjusted her pink, heart-shaped glasses and glitched to get closer to your eyes. She tried to lift your eyelids open with her tiny hands. Jessica took small steps around the living room, seeing how messy but organized the room was.
You grumbled and tried to shoo her hologram away. “Ughhh.. what do you want…” you groaned, turning over the couch as Lyla glitched back next to Jessica. With a flick from her fingertips, the spider-woman shot her web and pulled you up effortlessly, making you sit up on the couch.
“Y’know the girl I recruited— and your friend, Gwen?” Jessica asked, looking down on you while you hummed in agreement shortly.
“Anyway, Miguel and I assigned her for a mission in Earth 1610B to catch another anomaly—well, technically just a villain from that dimension,” Jessica explained but paused, looking back to Lyla. With a clap of her tiny hands, your room went dark as she presented an orange virtual screen that was twice as big as the coffee table. It flickered, presented someone, and then began to play as Lyla carried on.
“This guy calls himself the Spot, and he recently just caused some havoc in Earth 1610B’s Brooklyn,” the small AI said as the video continued. The villain was faceless, with a black spot in the center of his face and numerous spots all over his body. Almost like a human...faceless cow? The screen was then flipped sideways, creating a three-dimensional hologram of the strange entity. You rubbed your chin, and even though you were really tired, you couldn’t help but become curious.
The hologram flashed brighter with a slight change of colour as it became bigger. The figure collapsed from the screen as all three of you watched how the scenery changed into the broken collider from Earth 1610B that Miguel told you about. The Spot’s holographic figure flickered out of nowhere again before you heard him speak.
“Look at me— you did this to me!!” The Spot yelled, his voice becoming more and more distorted as he began to charge into the spider-man and the officer beside him. You watched as the two of them were in a fighting stance until the Spot summoned a hole by accident, getting himself kicked by, well, himself. He made a slight oof sound, knowing it would’ve hurt a lot. He took a pretty big tumble as he slid in front of the two with his jaw on the floor before another hole was created, pulling him into the black abyss. The hologram then ended, going back to being a screen.
You rubbed your eye after you finished watching, bewildered but still drained. You looked back at Jessica and Lyla; the frizzy, curly-haired woman had a serious expression on her face, watching with an austere look on the Spot. It made you slightly tense like a kid seeing their mother angry. She looked back at you before her face softened as she sighed. You cleared your throat before speaking.
"So, uh, what does this have to do with me?” You asked, scratching your head out of curiosity.
"Well, Gwen knows her way 'round that world since she got pulled into that dimension before,” Jessica explained while she started to walk around your living room, viewing the decorations with an aloof stare.
"I know 'bout her lil' friend.. Miles, right? 'm pretty sure she told you 'bout him before.” she continued, looking back at you to see what you had to say. You just nodded while you watched her slowly move around the room, running her hand gently on the surface of your tables.
“The girl’s good at combat like any other spider-variant in the spider-society. I mean, I could’ve sent her hours ago, but, y'know, Miguel.” Jessica spoke before her eyes wandered back to you. “It honestly ain’t a surprise that he doubts her but this Spot dude is starting to concern Miguel. I’ve faith in Gwen, but Miguel still insisted on bringing another spider; he recommended you.” Your eyebrows rose as the pregnant lady turned back to you She cleared her throat, and she became more serious.
“So— an order from Miguel; you accompany Gwen to Earth 1610B and the two of you make sure the operation is a success.” She rummaged through her spider-suit’s pocket and tossed you something very small. You easily caught it and saw a tiny mechanical spider, its legs tucked into its body, with a funky logo on the iron skin, You assumed Lyla fabricated it. Jessica continued to speak. “Aaaand put that device near the Spot. Just put it somewhere he can’t find it,” she explained.
You looked down on the very tiny machine. “What does it do?” You asked. “It can track the person's whereabouts through the multiverse and scan their data; pretty cool, huh?” Lyla smiled, floating around in the air. You looked back at Jess, who had a serious look, but you could tell she wanted you to join. You sighed.
“Fineeee, I’ll do it,” you responded before standing up from the couch, opening your closet nearby to get your spider-suit. Lyla easily opened up another portal, causing a ruckus as some of your furniture started to fly around again. Jessica was about to step into the large floating and orange hexagons before she looked back at you, giving you a thumbs up and fully entering the portal. It closed on you as well as Lyla, who disappeared out of thin air.

You travelled through space and time, bending the laws of physics as you travelled through the multiverse with speed faster than light. It was all blurry with only space and stars passing through you as well as the hexagons that led the way. It all started to clear when the matter itself tore apart, creating a hole. You blinked once before you finally saw yourself on Earth 928. You were spawned in the middle of the lobby as you easily used your webs to maneuver around and reach the cafeteria, where you'd meet Gwen. The familiar ginormous building would make a normal person pass out of confusion but it had what every spider-variant liked; a big space to swing freely, overpasses to walk on even when upside down, training programs, and even a therapy section for the spider-people who recently got their canon event.
You landed on the floor and looked around the large space, you spotted her sitting down next to a plant with her favourite pink cardigan and her watch flipped open. You snuck behind her while she looked down on the gizmo, scaring her in the process. She suddenly yelped.
“Jesus Christ—Y/N, that scared me.” Gwen sighed, while you laughed.
“My bad— your spider-senses didn’t go off?” you asked before she shook her head. Her expression then changed into a bright one.
“Can’t believe I’ll go back again!” Gwen smiled and giggled while you gave her a smug look. She slightly blushed before coughing. “T-To catch the Spot, duh,” she responded and looked away. You playfully rolled your eyes.
“Yeah, yeah, sure,” you giggled. Your eyes wandered back to her flipped watch before they grew wide. “You serious? You got the two of you as your wallpaper too?” You teased before Gwen quickly flipped it closed, looking around frantically. It was the picture she showed you a long time ago when Gwen and her friend took a picture together while she ended up in the wrong dimension.
“Huh? Me? don’t know what you’re talking about.” She said, playing dumb before she quickly opened up another portal using the gizmo. The bright orange hexagons grew bigger and rotated very slowly. The blonde-haired girl looked back at you excitedly. "C'mon, let’s go!” She smiled before stepping in, not giving you a chance to speak.
"Geez, I guess she really misses him,” you shrugged before jumping in as well.

The afro-haired teen had his headphones on, trying to relax after a small argument with his parents. Now, he’s grounded but who do they think he was? He was spider-man for God’s sake. He can’t be grounded. Miles was lying down on his bed with his arms behind his head. His eyes were closed and his head occasionally but slowly moved to the rhythm of his music, it was his comfort after all.
Yet he didn’t seem to notice some of his things started to float mid-air. They circled around his room before black bubbles and colourful light started to form just above him. The portal opened as it revealed you and Gwen. She had an excited look after seeing her friend near after two years. You, on the other hand, were just looking down, wondering when he’ll notice the two of you.
”Miles! Miles!” Gwen called out, trying to get his attention. In confusion, Miles slowly opened his eyes to the familiar voice. He thought he was seeing things until he did see Gwen. He quickly took off his headphones and sat up. “Gwen! H-How—” He stuttered, perplexed to see her after such a long time. She then dropped down next to him on his bed, her legs crossed.
“How’d you get here— oof-!” Miles tried to speak again until the blonde-haired girl quickly hugged him. He hugged her back as well, still bewildered. He then noticed you dropped down the portal as well. It closed before you landed on his floor easily, not making so much noise.
You took off your mask, revealing your face to him. You flashed him a small smile. Even though you knew why Miguel was infuriated when the name Miles would leave someone’s mouth, mostly Gwen, he was still another spider-man that you had respect for since he was Gwen’s friend. His mouth slightly gaped when he saw you.
“My bad, my bad, didn’t mean to appear all of a sudden,” you said before Gwen pulled away from the hug and introduced the two of you. “Y/N, Miles, Miles, Y/N,” She quickly said while you just nodded, His expression slightly softened as he just nervously smiled at you.
"Yeah, hi, nice to meet you,” you smiled.
“Nice to meet you too?” Miles nervously responded. Before it could get awkward between you three, you looked behind you, noticing his open bedroom window. You looked back at Gwen. “You can stay here, Gwen; I’ll handle things while you catch up with your friend,” you suggested while she stood up from the bed, puzzled.
“Wait— you sure? You know we can do that later.” Gwen said, referring to the mission, while you nodded your head, reassuring her by patting her shoulder. “Yeah, I’m sure it’s alright,” you grinned, looking back at Miles and then at her. “Don’t want to miss this opportunity, no?” You teased, your hand slowly retracting from her shoulder while she slightly blushed. You turned back to his window, jumping off his bedroom window. You shot a web from your fingertips and quickly swung yourself away. Gwen watched while Miles looked out the window, his gaze finding you as he admired how quick and talented you were at moving swiftly through the air.
“Dang, she’s good,” Miles pointed out while Gwen nodded, looking back at Miles as the two of them smiled. They were happy to see each other again after so long.
Meanwhile, you continued to swing away until you were out of sight of any civilians as you climbed up a high building. You were standing by the edge of the building’s roof, walking around as you looked over to your watch to see where this Spot could be. You sighed and took off your mask, slightly frustrated to not find anything before Lyla’s hologram appeared out of sight.
"Heeeey, Y/N, how’s the mission?” She asked with a grin, spinning on her virtual chair, which was the same size as hers. You grumbled.
“I can’t find the Spot’s location,” you admitted, sighing from how annoyed you were. “Got any idea where he could be?” You asked the AI before she hummed, thinking about it with her tiny finger tapping on her chin. Her hologram flickered before she summoned a 3D model of the entire map of Earth 1610’s Brooklyn with all of its avenues, streets and even shop names. She zoomed into the new hologram, revealing a building made out of bricks under a few overpasses. A few other shops surrounded it, as well as a small highway. Some of its windows were oddly broken and covered with a partially dirty cloth as a barrier.
The small AI manipulated the three-dimensional screen easily, zooming into the broken glass as the screen changed again. Inside the building was a messy room, with wires, confusing machines, and more technical equipment around the shelves and floor. The room was completely unorganized and clearly dimly lit.
“Looks like he worked for Alchemax before,” Lyla pointed out, taking a look at the equipment. "Even one of them has a logo," she observed as she leaned down to inspect the equipment components.
“Is this the Spot’s place?” You asked, then returned your gaze to the floating AI. She nodded her head in response.
“Scanned the area earlier when I zoomed in and saw his driver’s license on the table. It’s expired, but got his information,” she explained, her tone playful as if she found it all too easy. She then displayed a screen of an image of the Spot’s driver's license it had his name, age, address and more information. With two of your fingers, you zoomed out of that screen as you looked back at the hologram of the building, which you concluded to be his apartment. “Plus— the area’s full of dark matter,”
“I’ll get going,” you responded once you had your information, sliding your mask back onto your face before the hologram flickered to a close.
“Bu-byeeee~” Lyla grinned before her figure also disappeared. You flipped the watch back to a close before you swiftly jumped down the building and shot a web mid-air, propelling yourself to the Spot’s location.
You jumped from the tall skyscraper while shooting webs into the air to propel you into the sky without attracting any attention. The cool air hit your masked face until you descended, turning gracefully but quickly onto the roof of the building. You walked to the edge and stuck to the wall to get inside through the broken glass.
You slipped in easily as you observed the area. It was an apartment room. Though it was dimly lit, you noticed papers scattered on the table, some of them close to falling down. You lifted your mask up to your head to get a clear view of your surroundings, some of your bangs escaping to the sides of your face and forehead. With your gloved hands, you picked up the papers, skimming through them.
Reports, hypotheses, notes, and more... one thing they all had in common was a connection to multiverse matter or the concept of bringing back different entities from other universes. They weren’t all from Johnathon, aka Spot necessarily, most of them were reported by different scientists, especially from the well-known Olivia who was the head of the whole collider project back then, which caused a misbalance in the entire multiverse. You threw the papers back onto the table's surface before looking around again. You noticed some mechanics in the corner, concealed by a metallic closet. You leaned down and picked one up, noting that it also had the Alchemax logo until you noticed a small post it attached to the back. You ripped it off the mechanic, reading it.
“This isn’t the villain of the week—maybe five months, but still…” you mumbled, pulling your mask back on before you rummaged through your pockets, taking out the small spider Jessica gave you earlier. It automatically opened and summoned out its miniature legs after you tossed it against the wall. It then dug its legs into the brick and camouflaged really well.
“Gotta alert Gwen about this..” you mumbled. You quickly flicked a web out of your fingertips as it shot through the window. You flew out once again, swinging away faster and faster. You were again back in the metropolitan area, gliding through the air while your eyes wandered around trying to find Gwen. You assumed she was still at Miles’ apartment.
You swung down when you saw his apartment complex, noticing on the building’s rooftop there was loud music and lots of parked cars outside next to the road. You guessed that his family had a house party; the familiar smell of Puerto Rican food may sound good, but you knew you had to find Gwen quickly. When you landed back on the wall, you peeked through Miles’ bedroom window only to find no one inside, only Gwen left her cardigan on his bed.
“Fuck— where is that girl?” You sighed, shooting out another web atop the building beside his apartment. You gracefully landed on its rooftop before you flipped your watch open, trying to contact her. Unfortunately, it showed a hologram that said contact is on; do not disturb.
You grew more frustrated before turning the hologram to a close. You sighed and paced around on the rooftop. You wondered where she could be. Confused, you opened your gizmo back up again, speaking through Lyla.
“Hey Lyla- sorry to interrupt, got any idea where Gwen is? If so just send the coordinates, I can handle it,” you spoke as the AI’s hologram flickered again. She tried to find her location via watch but then she sighed.
“Sorry Y/N, she’s on do not disturb apparently,” the brunette replied before you grunted. “Can you turn it off?” You asked until she shook her head no. “Nah, I can’t get deactivate anything during a mission, just the policy aaand, you know, Mig’s rules,” She explained while you got more frustrated.
“How is that even a thing— what the hell..” you groaned. “Can you ask Miguel to let this be an exception?” you questioned Lyla again. “Miguel’s not in right now, busy with another mission,” she responded.
“Knew you’d say that.. always the busy guy.. whatever, thanks Lyla,” you sighed before she disappeared once more, leaving you alone once more on the rooftop. You were so frustrated by Gwen’s absence; where the hell could she be? If not with Miles then where was she? Your thoughts came to a halt when your spider-senses made you turn around. You noticed someone dressed as spider-man with a black and red coloured suit. You raised an eyebrow as you walked over to them discreetly.
They noticed you as their spider-suit’s goggles slightly widened. “Woah- you got fast spider-senses,” the recognizable voice said, staring at you.
“Wait— Miles?” You asked before he nervously chuckled and took off his mask in front of you, his Afro popping out as he looked more buff with the black spider-suit on. It matched him a lot. “What’re you doing here?” You curiously asked, also taking off your mask to see him clearly.
“Me and Gwen was swingin’ around the city and just wanted to let you join,” he responded, looking down at you since he was taller. “We didn’t get a proper chance to talk right? Just wanted to make ya feel included..” he continued, noticing how he was getting nervous when he noticed you didn’t respond.
“Sorry— kinda busy..” you mumbled, looking back down to your watch to see if Gwen finally put that stupid do not disturb function off. She unfortunately didn’t. You were always the chatty type but now wasn’t the time now that you were dealing with a soon-to-be anomaly who knows how to travel through other dimensions. Miles’ eyes softened, he just really wanted to be accepted as another spider-man or as a friend.. but you had other priorities. He was disappointed but hid it well enough, not wanting to worry you. He was silent until he had an idea in mind.
“With what? I mean I can help ya. I know Brooklyn like the back of my hand,” Miles stayed optimistic, wanting to be of assistance. You already knew about Brooklyn's map thanks to Lyla, but you could see that despite not knowing anything about you, he merely wanted to help. You could see yourself in him, as you would always strive to help Miguel in any way you could, even though he was the epitome of independence. Miles also wanted to prove his usefulness in this society Gwen just recently talked about while the two of them were swinging through the city… so he could see her more often... but oh how difficult would it be for him? He spotted the gadget on your wrist and then pointed to it.
“Yeah- uh.. pretty crazy phenomenon right? Travelling to a different universe without your atoms glitching like crazy..” you responded, showing him your wrist as he came closer.
“How’d you get this?” He asked, his hands slowly inching closer to yours to hold the watch with his fingers. You almost flinched and he noticed. Ever since your canon event, you could never rest easy with physical touch.
“You good Y/N?” He inquired, a little worried as his fingers almost retracted. You shook your head.
“Sorry, sorry— my bad, but I’m okay don’t worry bout it,” you reassured as you moved your wrist closer to him, letting him hold your hand to inspect the watch. “As for how I got it.. from where we’re from, we earn them,” you answered truthfully. His hand moved from your forearm to your hand, gently holding it up. You also couldn’t help but notice how his thumb slowly caressed your knuckles, was he trying to be nice or was it just out of habit? You definitely had no clue.
“Who gave it to you?” Miles replied, still holding your hand delicately. He seemed so interested in its design and advanced technology on the orange screen. It resembled to nothing from his dimension nor has he seen anything like it. So small yet intriguing.
“My mentor, Miguel O’hara,” you answered. “He’s like the leader of the entire spider-society Gwen and I are in. It’s pretty cool if you ask me,” you rambled, sharing more than enough.
“Gwen never told me about it..” He muttered, carefully tapping a few buttons to see its functions. You couldn’t see his expression since his head was down, still looking at the screen, before he faced you with a small smile. “What’s it gonna take for the Miguel O’hara to meet Miles Morales?” The tall black teen joked but genuinely asked. You on the other hand didn’t know what to say. There was an explanation for why he couldn’t join but you didn’t want to cause any trouble between the two of them. You gulped down the built-up saliva in your mouth out of nervousness.
“I mean.. if you tryna join… how about we try to catch some criminals on the way while we try to find Gwen? I’m not like- fully certain but maybe after I can put in a good word?” You suggested to try and change the topic as you put your forearm down once he was done inspecting the gizmo. Miles’ smile grew, he wasn’t opposed to the idea and wanted to get to know you better. “Sure, why not? Watch me put ‘em in place,” He replied with a confident smirk before you chuckled.
Your watch then beeped. Your back faced him as you turned around to check what news it had for you. The spider that camouflaged into the wall was recording the Spot’s messy apartment and analyzing his figure. You turned it into a mini hologram, watching in full effect what was happening in that room.
The Spot was walking around in his room, moving box from box to a specific area with mechanics and more collider parts you recognized.
“Oh shit..” you cursed under your breath when you saw how close he was to building the mini-collider.
“Everything okay?” Miles asked, about to peek over your shoulder before you quickly moved away. He slowly retracted, noticing how you flinched as if you were uncomfortable, but you weren’t focused on him anymore.
“Gotta go for now Miles, we can fight those criminals later alright? Sorry ‘bout the trouble,” you apologized quickly as you then put your mask back on. You approached the ledge of the rooftop and were about to jump off the building to swing to the Spot’s location immediately. A frustrated and concerned look was on Miles’ face. The young spider-man just wanted to help yet you continued to push him away. With an annoyed expression, he watched you leave so quickly with your webs. You were so quick, agile and so elegant in the air that he could tell you were much more experienced than him despite being the same age.
Once he was far enough for you to notice, he shot webs and swung himself in your direction almost immediately. It started to get dark as his black spider-suit blended in well with the atmosphere. The black lenses on his mask narrowed as he was more focused on catching up on you. Miles wasn’t dumb enough to believe that Gwen didn’t come back just to visit him, there was at least something else you and her had to worry about.
He saw you shooting out multiple webs under a metro railway from your fingertips as you pulled yourself up with the almost transparent strong strings. Like a flash of light, he saw you dash through in between a train’s cabins. Miles almost thought you got run over until he swung over the railway, you weren’t there like you disappeared. “Damn this girl’s fast…” Miles grumbled, trying to retrace his steps while looking around to try and find you. His stomach dropped at the thought of you finding out he was following you so he turned invisible quite easily just to make sure.
Even when invisible, it seemed like you didn’t let your guard down at all as he still couldn’t find you. He kept asking himself where you could possibly be or why you were here in the first place. There was something wrong but he had no clue of what it could be. He tried to retrace your steps by finding your webbing but they all disintegrated too fast. They’d all fall on the ground and slowly disintegrate since you were in the wrong universe. Frustrated, he almost thought of turning back and going back home until he noticed someone swing through the air as well. He saw the familiar spider-suit, it was Gwen.
Her mask concealed her face as she landed near a pillar supporting the overpass close to the Spot’s apartment. A few meters away, Miles landed on top of a street lamp, discreetly looking at the situation beforehand. There were corps surrounding the apartment with lights flashing to the holes in the walls.
“Shoot..” Gwen mumbled under her breath, in worry she was too late. She rapidly shot a web into the police officer's car, causing it to reverse before swinging inside the building with ease. Miles, on the other hand, quickly followed.
Inside the apartment was a whole mess, messier than before like a tornado merely broke down the building. Gwen stepped inside, looking around to find out what happened with a concerned look behind her mask. She then proceeded to scan the area using the multiversal gizmo while Miles hid behind the air ducts, making sure he wasn’t under the orange light that could point him out.
She looked around, noticing the Spot’s personal belongings like a portrait with Olivia, the spiders he brought from different dimensions, and such. When the scanning was finally complete, the spider-woman then started to replay the entire scenario. The orange light orbs turned back in her direction as they flickered a display of holograms in front of her to show what just happened. “Oh no no no..” She mumbled under her breath as she watched the scene play out visually while Miles carefully eavesdropped.
“Just need to get somewhere with a full-sized giant collider..” The Spot talked to himself as he continued to assemble his small micro-collider. It started to power up, creating dark energy from its sources. “Alriiiight, this’ll work, it’ll be good!” The faceless human optimistically said as he prepared to put his index finger into the dark matter the mini-collider was forming. He whistled as he was about to put it in until he stopped. “Or- I don’t know, might vaporize me and this entire building, which would not be good” He carelessly shrugged.
“Oh shoot..” Gwen muttered while Miles continued to watch as well, witnessing how far his villain of the week was going just to defeat him. They saw how he was getting so close to inserting his finger through the dark hole until multiple webs were wrapped around him, quickly taking him down.
You swung through the mess as you appeared just in time before the Spot could ruin himself with the dark energy. With a quick tug of your webs, you pulled him up from the floor and threw him at the other side of the room with only your hand. The Spot was launched back, breaking multiple walls in the process before he groaned in pain and looked up at you. “Wait— huh? Spider-man? But a woman?” he asked, perplexed as he thought you were his original nemesis. You had your back turned, paying attention to the collider more than him.
“Fuck this is dangerous..” Your eyes narrowed at the sight of the dark matter almost consuming the entire mini-collider, making it impossible to turn it off or break. You were about to inspect it until a sudden punch to the stomach made you nearly spit out saliva out of your mask. It just came out of nowhere through the black hole in front of you. You grunted when you realized it was all Spot’s doing.
“Yeah— sorry, can’t turn it off now huh?” the Spot laughed before it teleported so quickly behind you. His arm then made its way to your neck before he lifted you off the ground, making you choke. “Let go of me weirdo!” you yelled and rapidly kicked him off of you, causing him to almost lose balance. He growled under his breath, sick and tired of being tossed around like a weakling.
Creating a portal, he aggressively punched you through it before you stepped back once it hit your stomach again. He teleported back in front of you when you knelt down and held your stomach in pain. You tried crawling away until he grabbed your neck and shoved you down the floor repeatedly. “I’m tired of being treated like a fucking joke.” He spat as his voice turned deep, distorted and twisted. You winced, trying to push him off with your hands until he gripped your wrists as well. He saw how you had a weird watch on your wrist until his attention turned to the small gadget.
“Ohhh.. what’s that? Pretty interesting..” He sarcastically pointed out before he punched its screen. “Oops,”
“N-No!” You screamed when you saw its screen broken. The gadget started to malfunction, making distorted sounds as well.
“N-nnggh.!” You yelped when he choked you while lifting you up again. He threw you to the wall as you landed on top of the table full of collider parts that pierced through your skin. The Spot then turned back to the mini collider, shoving his hand into the dark energy. It started to absorb him as it generated more spots on his body. You tried to shoot webs to pull him back from the dark power until he was completely absorbed, pulling you into the void as well.
“Shoot..!” Gwen widened his eyes in fear as Miles continued to watch your hologram get sucked in by the dark matter. Once you were pulled in, the replay was complete.
“Oh shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot!” The spider-woman panicked, realizing how bad the situation was. You were in another universe, with no gizmo to help you call for backup nor any help. It was only a matter of time until you would suffer from glitching.
‘Y/N..’ Miles thought of your name, concerned and puzzled of why Gwen was panicking like crazy. She was shaking her head, trying to deny that wasn’t what happened until she took off her mask, breathing heavily out of panic.
With a problem like this, she definitely didn’t know how to solve it..

You blinked in and out of consciousness before you tried to get up only to collapse back to the floor when your back ached. You looked behind you and saw what you were crashed into, a truck. You looked up as you saw it was raining steadily. That was weird, you don’t remember it already raining when you just collapsed for a minute.
Once you managed to sit up, you realized this place wasn’t familiar at all. You shot a web as you landed on top of a building where you could see everything. But in the end, you didn’t understand.. why was the billboard Japanese.? Or why were there so many Japanese commercials on the skyscraper screens?
“Where am I?”

MILES MORALES, EARTH 1610B.
"Càlmate, mami—eso no es my fault!"
THE ORIGINAL ANOMALY and the cause of fate-changing, Miles Morales. Bitten by a spider from another dimension, he gained superpowers and became a unique spider-man. His powers were unparalleled, and the spider bite caused a ripple effect in the multiverse, creating a universe without a spider-man. Clever in physics and one hell of an artist, yet he only has a few friends he can trust now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
GWEN STACY, EARTH 65. "I'm from another.. another, another dimension."
THE GHOST-SPIDER OF EARTH 65. Her amazing acrobatic prowess is perfectly suited to her web-slinging abilities. She moves with agility and grace, impressing all who witness her incredible feats. She doesn't really express her thoughts and feelings so much, so she uses her drums as comfort. Surrounded by a crowd, but mostly alone inside.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
HOBIE BROWN, EARTH 138. "Listen to me, bruv. whole point of spider-man is your independence. Be your own boss. you don't need all this."
IN THE EARTH 138 OF CAMDEN, NEW LONDON, with a government corrupting his city more than others, spider-punk fights his enemies and stops crime. He's recruited into the spider- society, mostly to look out for his drummer. Hobie is also a performer and an activist against fascism.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
MIGUEL O'HARA, EARTH 928. "Que maravilla,"
THE ONE AND ONLY SPIDER-MAN IN NEUVA YORK OF EARTH 928. At least he was. Miguel is the founder and current leader of the spider-society yet beneath all that sarcasm and apathetic nature, he has been the one trying to keep the entire multiverse from collapsing. And if it meant doing it by force, he would not hesitate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
MILES G. MORALES, EARTH 42. "But you... you can call me the prowler."
THE ORIGINAL SPIDER-MAN OF EARTH 42, but his destiny was stripped away when the scientists of another universe took the spider away. His life changed for the worse when the absence of a spider-man in his dimension affected his city's crimes as well as his father's death. Life was unfair in his world; he knew that. Only the strongest can come on top, so he became the rising infamous vigilante—the prowler.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
IZUKU MIDORIYA, EARTH 61806N. "To help others, you have to be able to take care of yourself."
A QUIRKLESS WEAK BOY was once antagonized by his childhood friend Bakugo before UA. His limits as a quirkless person didn't break his ambitions and dreams to become what he always wanted, ever since he was a child—a hero like All Might, one who people can rely on to save them and put a smile on their faces.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
SHOTO TODOROKI, EARTH 61806N. "I'd like to avoid something so cruel, if possible."
SON OF AN ARRANGED QUIRK MARRIAGE, because of his terrible past, Shoto seems to have a reserved, unapproachable, and austere disposition. He came to despise his left side and would never again utilize it in combat. He's cold, just like his quirk. Too cold to even communicate with.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
KATSUKI BAKUGO, EARTH 61806N. "I'll become a hero that even surpasses you!"
A SHORT-TEMPERED AGRESSIVE HOT HEAD with a quirk that can match his personality; explosion. Katsuki is a perceptive and strong student indeed but he does not work well with teams or cooperating. He absolutely hates it when someone underestimates him and gets beaten. There's not one moment in which he's not arrogant.

╰┈➤ ❝𝐎𝐊𝐀𝐘𝐘𝐘𝐘 𝐋𝐄𝐓'𝐒 𝐃𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄, my name is Y/N L/N. I was bitten by a radioactive spider, and for about two years, I've been the one and only spider woman. I'm pretty sure you know the rest.
Been fighting other bad guys, helping cats off trees, saving plains from crashing into buildings, you know—the basics.
I lost my best friends when I realized one of them was my nemesis.
but that didn't stop me from fighting for the better!
I just wish I wasn't alone. What if there was another universe where someone understood me?
whatever, probably just my imagination.❞
𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐒𝐌𝐎𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐍 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐘𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝟗𝟐𝟔-𝐙, there was you, sleeping in bed so peacefully before your loud blaring alarm on your phone started to ring for the fifth time. You groaned when the sound disrupted your sleep before you finally picked up your phone to check what time it was. your eyes completely widened. You were late for school.
"Shit!" you cursed, pushing yourself off the bed and running to the bathroom to take the quickest bath you could. Taking off your clothes, dosing yourself with the shower's water, and quickly soaping up your entire body. As quickly as you entered, you almost tripped, going out of the shower with a towel wrapped around your soaked body. You ran back to your room, sloppily but quickly putting on your Brooklyn Visions Academy uniform. You still think that school is elitist, but you can't complain for now.
With no time to spare other than lacing up your shoes and taking your unzipped bag, you ran out of your dorm, forgetting to lock the door. You started to quickly jog your way to the school with your bag slung in front of you in an attempt to zip it closed with your papers and work securely inside. Traffic was booming like crazy, which made you groan impatiently. "My luck should really not be affecting my school," you grumbled.
The light finally turned red, letting pedestrians pass. You pushed past multiple people, apologizing when you ran through them as you continued to sprint to the school's entrance. When you finally stepped inside the school, you ran to your locker, put your bag and stuff away, and sprinted so fast to your class before the bell could ring. You arrived just in time, holding your textbooks by the door while a bead of sweat ran down your neck.
You panted, out of breath from running the entire morning, while your professor looked at you, unimpressed that you were late for how many times?
"Tardy again, Y/N. Keep up if you want to pass this year." She said, obviously hinting that you were someone who didn't care about education. Rude.
You nervously walked to your seat with your heavy books in hand while your classmates watched you sit down. Your professor passed by and gave you multiple papers stapled together as your exam. You skimmed through it, and the questions were almost a big blur for you when you saw how hard you should've studied instead of fighting other criminals on a daily basis. You held your mechanical pencil tight, wondering what to write while your other classmates were all silent and focused on the exams, unlike you, who had no idea. You wrote down what you knew, but you still felt anxious. You really didn't want to fail this exam; it could be your last before you would have to move to another school. You liked that option, but your parents worked too hard, climbing the ranks so you could have an easier life once you passed your exams. Since when was life decided by a piece of paper?
Minutes into the exam, suddenly, you heard a loud explosion near the back of your school. It was muffled through the thick walls, yet it was obvious something dangerous had happened. Your spider senses tingled, and you lifted your head abruptly while your class looked around, wondering what that could be while the teacher noticed their confused and worried expressions.
"Everyone calm down! Form a line and carefully leave the school through the front," your professor ordered, yet most students had already started running out of the classroom, ignoring her orders.
You quickly ran out too, pushing past the rest of the students while you navigated back to your locker. You grabbed your bag from inside and forgot to close it, prioritizing the situation at hand as you went to the bathroom.
"Guess I have to do my job again," you sighed while you quickly locked the toilet stall. You opened your bag, your spider suit folded neatly and tucked between your other textbooks inside. You took off your uniform, changing into the tight spider suit swiftly. You made sure to keep your mask securely on; protecting your identity was the most important part of it.
Finally dressed for battle and your bag slung on your back, you climbed out through the restroom's window, flicking multiple webs out of your fingertips. They swiftly stuck to one of the school's large pillars, and they allowed you to swing away quickly. You swung from building to building easily, reaching the back of the school to see seven vehicles crash together, causing a fire to spread throughout the school's background. Multiple police cars and ambulances were parked nearby, with the paramedics taking as many victims as they could on stretchers and transporting them to the ambulance crew.
You saw many policemen trying to save the injured under the rubble and from the fire as well. You knew they could get in the way of your job, so you created a diversion. You shot a web inside the policeman's car, the sticky string immediately reaching and pressing on the accelerator as it slowly moved forward, catching their attention.
"Woah—woah, woah—hey!!" one of them hollered, trying to reach the advancing car alongside his other colleagues. It gave you enough time to reach the exploded area with your webs.
"This is a whole mess," you mumbled to yourself under your mask as you reached another building's wall. You quickly climbed higher and swiftly shot individual webbing from your fingertips, each web reaching pieces of heavy debris on top of the injured. You held and wrapped all five webs around your palm, pulling the rubble off of the victims with your bare hand as your webs carried them to the side.
The concerned police officers ran to the injured with paramedics, yet the fire persisted, causing another explosion near the colliding cars. You were thinking of a plan to somehow save all of these people while you internally grew more anxious.
"What the hell is causing these explosions?" You grunted, frustrated. You loathed seeing people get injured while you tried to think of something. You jumped from the high wall, plunging down as you shot webs toward the heavily injured near the fire. You pulled them close, carrying more than three people while their blood smeared on your spider suit.
You quickly rested their bodies near where the ambulances could see them before you swung back to the high roof of the building. Your spider senses suddenly tingled before you turned around. On the building's edge, you saw the villain behind it all.
"Who the hell is this guy?" You said, looking down to the edge, and saw a lizard... or a goblin? You didn't know. You shot webs once more in its direction, propelling yourself up before you landed a harsh kick in its face. It let out a loud grunt as saliva was knocked out of his mouth. You sent him flying to another building's wall before he collapsed on the ground.
You walked over to it cautiously, a foot on his chest as you stepped on it harder. You glared down at him, looking down at a vile creature who hurt your people. It coughed, its vision blurry before it looked up to you, it started chuckling with your foot on his scales. "We meet again Peter," it said, smirking.
"Who the hell is Peter?" You retorted, raising an eyebrow behind your mask while it looked at you as if you were playing with his head.
"Oh, don't lie now, Peter... I know all about—" The vile lizard was about to continue, but it was cut off when it saw your features more clearly. You had more of a feminine body. Your muscles weren't as built, but you were strong enough to consider its enemy, like Peter. You had bigger hips and smaller shoulders than a man. Not to mention the obvious, your suit wasn't one it recognized. Its expression turned from smug to confused. You weren't the Peter it knew.
With rage blinding its confusion, it growled and grabbed your ankle with its large clawed hand, pulling your foot off its chest as it caused you to almost lose balance.
"Who are you?" It glared, looking at you with disdain and anger. You, on the other hand, were confused about why it didn't know you when you were literally the spider-woman.
"I'm spider-woman? The hero?" You rhetorically responded before it sneered and tossed you to the side of the building. You reacted quickly as you shot webs at its face, blinding it and pulling on the webs before you could hit the wall with its heavy weight. You adroitly landed on the floor again.
"Okay, dude—that's not nice," you pout under your mask while it growled in frustration when your webs blinded its field of vision. The creature almost tore off its eyes, in an attempt to take the sticky web off its face while it bled. The oversized lizard was raging mad before it charged toward you at full speed. You were about to swing burning wreckage to its face with your webs before a sudden brightness appeared from above.
You both looked up in confusion before you suddenly saw a red web hastily tie your green rival into scarlet webbing. It came out of what seemed to be a bright light formed with hexagons while it glitched. You haven't seen anything like it, thinking it could be another threat. "Argh!!!" The creature thundered before you saw what seemed to be another spider-man go through the portal. He promptly punched the lizard's head, blood coming out of its mouth, before it crashed into another building's wall.
The mysterious man stood up once he apprehended the green goblin with his webs. He tied it with his webs effortlessly while you approached him, his head slightly turning to look at you.
"So, like, who are you?" You asked, putting a hand on your hip before he turned around to fully face you.
"Classified," He spoke with a low tone, keeping it short and cold. You hummed, thinking of who he could be.
"You Peter? That green, uh, creature was looking after Peter or something. I don't know," you shrugged while the man was still silent, like he was judging you secretly with that glare.
You cleared your throat, a bit uncomfortable that he wasn't responding to your question. "Well, anyway, gotta deal with the fire and stuff. Gotta go blue panther." You were about to walk to the fire, mostly to save more victims before he stepped in front of you.
"It's alright, kid. I'll take it from here." He responded, his tone still cold, while his hand was slightly raised, telling you to stand down. Your spider senses tingled after he said that. You looked up behind him as you saw the green goblin manage to escape his webbing and cause more havoc behind the tall, muscular spider-man. In a fit of rage, the creature threw a burning truck in your direction.
"Oh, shit—look out!" You yelled, shooting a web at the spider-man's chest before pulling him away from the landing truck. You quickly moved away as well, but suddenly hissed in pain and fell near the fire. You groaned when you saw your burned forearm and noticed that your spider-suit was covered in cinders after smelling something burning.
"Puta madre--!" the spider-man growled before claws started to grow out of his hands. With animalistic ferocity, he chased after the goblin, shooting a web on his way to get to him faster. His speed never slowed down as his legs ran faster and faster, almost like a car on a highway.
Meanwhile, you winced when you pushed yourself up before your senses started to go haywire again. You turned around and saw more people in the burning debris while firefighters arrived and started to put out the flames. You hastily followed the spider-man from before by crawling up on top of a very tall building. Your eyes quickly scanned the area, searching for him. You spotted the lizard causing more trouble as it climbed up the building in front of you. His claws dug into the wall, causing more debris to fall, almost hitting more pedestrians. The other spider-man turned his head around, watching as the debris started to rain down on the citizens. He was so conflicted; he was so close to catching the goblin, yet the civilians were in danger.
"Fuck!" The man cursed, shooting a web to catch the debris, yet he failed. He grunted, turning his attention back to his target. He continued to chase the green goblin. You, on the other hand, thought fast and jumped down while shooting multiple webs to make a gigantic spider web to catch all the falling debris. Your webbing was strong enough to carry the heavy rubble and the burning damage before it could hit the others. Once you were sure it was holding everything in place, you shot another web, swinging yourself to the injured, who couldn't move. You picked them up— two on your back and one in your arms. They were barely alive when you gently laid them down somewhere more safe.
Your head lifted when you heard a cry. "M-Mama! Please! Help!!" A child screamed while you put all the victims away near the policemen. You turned your head back, realizing one of them was still stuck in the fire. You didn't hesitate to run back, propelling yourself into the air to see where the kid could be. You then saw her crawling up into a ball, a toy in her arms, while she looked around with tears in her eyes, afraid of the fire. She coughed profusely, almost running out of oxygen, while tears prickled her eyes. Even with the burnt forearm, you quickly and nimbly landed in front of her, picking her up easily while she didn't know what was happening. Yet she held onto you tighter than her toy. You shot another web at a building, pulling the two of you up before swinging away to where it was safe.
When you slowly descended to the ground with the child hugging your neck tightly, you saw a weeping woman on the ground with multiple injuries. Your eyes softened, worried behind your mask. You looked back at the kid, noticing she looked like she could be her child. You approached her. "Ma'am," you called out to her, getting her attention before you put down the kid in front of her. She gasped and brought her into her arms, pulling her into a very tight hug while they both wept.
"Thank you," the woman whimpered before looking up at your masked face. "Thank you for saving all of us." She smiled while sobbing, looking around at the people you saved. Even though they were injured, you managed to save all of them. You nodded your head, smiling behind your mask as you flashed her a thumbs-up.
You heard a thump behind you, hinting that the tall spider-man was behind you before you turned around to see him holding the green lizard with his red webs. "Hey," you said, looking up to him. "Caught the lizard?" As you chuckled, you noticed that he still had that unfazed look on his face. It seemed like he was trying to put up a brave front in front of the crowd. After a brief pause, he cleared his throat before responding.
"Follow me," he ordered with a reserved tone as he shot a web and pulled himself up to a very tall skyscraper. You followed behind him, the wind blowing into your face before you landed gracefully on top of the skyscraper.
There, you saw him tap on something on his wrist before another portal opened, the same bright orange hexagons forming the strange entrance while they rotated slowly. Your eyes squinted from how bright it was, while he still had the same expression as before. He got ready to throw the lizard into the portal, while it struggled and squirmed under his tight webs. "This is not the last time you'll see me, Peter!" It yelled, glaring daggers at you and the tall spider-man, until he was thrown into the portal. It created a short blast before the portal returned to normal.
You were quiet for a bit, not knowing what to say. He then turned around to face you, the portal closing very slowly while he approached you. "I'm from another dimension," he admitted while you gasped dramatically, knowing the obvious.
"You are.?! Woahhhhh.." Your eyes were wide behind your mask. He glared at your sarcasm, crossing his arms as it showed his muscles behind the tight suit.
"Take this seriously, chiquilla," he monotonously replied before clearing his throat and looking away. There was a small pause before he spoke. "You showed great abilities when you saved all those people." As soon as you received the compliment, his eyes shifted back to you while yours lit up with joy. It felt like you were a kid again, basking in the glory of a teacher's praise for acing a test.
He didn't say anything else. He looked down at his hand and slowly formed a fist. You watched him, wondering what he'd be doing. You tilted your head to the side, trying to see what was in his palm when it slowly opened. After a few more moments, he opened his fist.
"A watch?" You looked confusedly before he tossed it to you; you easily caught it, observing it. "What the hell is this for?" You asked, looking back at him. You finally noticed that it was the same watch he had on his wrist.
"You'll feel more at home," he responded stoically. He took the watch and helped you put it on properly. "... and we can use the help," he said.
"Who's we?" You asked, bewildered, becoming more baffled than ever. You'll feel more at home, he said. What did that even mean? You took off your mask, getting a clearer view of him, as you had a concerned face. "Who even are you?" You replied like you were annoyed for not knowing the entire truth.
His mask slowly distorted into pixels as it showed his face. "Miguel O'hara." He simply responded, looking down at you with his intimidating, tired brown eyes. He then slowly turned around, walking to the portal that hadn't been closed yet. You watched him enter the bright hexagons before you watched him disappear in front of your eyes.
You gripped the watch tightly.

Final moments I couldn’t say ‘goodbye,’
angsty oneshot. | AOT x reader
WARNING: contains AOT SEASON 4 p.3 spoilers, major character death
AS YOUR TEAM APPROACHED Odiha by boat, you could feel the soft wind brush through your hair. The quiet ride to the city was comforting but it kept you from thinking about Eren’s plan. The rumbling, freedom, Ymir’s subjects, all of them. As someone as his childhood friend, you couldn’t help but shed a few tears of regret. Regret that you failed as his companion. Just when the tears were about to fall down to your cheeks, your captain, Levi Ackerman, came to see you with your arms resting on the railing of the ship.
You wiped away your tears before he could see them. It would be humiliating if Levi were to see you in such a sorrow mood. The injured man approached you before he placed his hand on top of the ship’s railing. The two of you sat in silence before he spoke.
“Sad that you can’t spend the rest of his remaining years with him?” Levi asked in a soft tone. You couldn’t help but feel special about it since you were the only one he spoke nicely to. You nodded in response before explaining yourself.
“I can’t help but feel... guilty. I know you must’ve heard others blame themselves about Eren repeatedly so.. I shouldn’t bore you with my story,” you spoke as you faced Levi’s injured self. Deep down, he could see the pain Eren inflicted on you yet, even when you agreed to stop Eren’s plan, you still miss him. It was reasonable but Levi wished he could help you with your problems if ever they managed to stop the rumbling.
Levi could see the two of you together, retired veterans growing old together in a small but comfortable place after stopping the rumbling. The two of you would talk about the scout’s memories and maybe a few funny moments of Eren and Jean fighting. He secretly smiled at the thought. He would do anything to spend the rest of his years with you.
After the two of you continued to stare at the ocean’s clear view, the ship came into a halt. The team and the Azumabito had finally arrived to Odiha. What was once a populated Marleyan city, became an empty space waiting to be crushed.
Without wasting any more time, Jean and the rest got to work on the flying boat with the Azumabito engineers. You helped them take off the large string of explosives and set them to the side while from time to time, you would check on Levi to see if he was doing well. You would give him his favorite cup of drink; tea and sometimes help him walk.
It was early in the morning when everyone finished setting up the flying boat. With Hange and Levi beside you, you wondered about the scout regiment’s dead comrades. If you were just lucky all this time to survive the titans then you wanted to pass down your luck to your two comrades beside you. They were much more worth it and they would need it anyway. As you gazed at the flying boat, you asked the two a question.
“Say, Levi and Hange, do you think that our dead comrades are watching us? Would they be proud of our efforts?” you asked, your eyes tired from crying last night. Hange and Levi looked back at you, Zoe placed their hand on your shoulder to comfort you.
“I’m sure they are,” Hange spoke before you turned your head to face them and smiled. Levi didn’t know what to say so he just nodded in agreement. But it was true that their comrades would be cheering on for all of you.
All of a sudden, a wet figure approached the place quietly. With the last of his bullets, Floch shot his gun recklessly to stop the scout regiment’s plan. Faster than thunder, Mikasa shot her ODM gear’s wire into Floch’s chest, killing him in the process.
His bullets caused holes to pierce the flying boat’s fuel tank. As the Azumabito engineers rushed to fix the mess, you could feel the ground start to rumble. With horror, you looked outside to see huge cloud-like gas on top of the mountain. The rumbling was fast approaching.
The team left to check the rumbling before looks of horror came onto their faces. With pounding hearts, Mikasa asked Armin for any ideas to slow down the rumbling.
“I’ll stay and slow it down..” Armin suggested yet Reiner disagreed. Their bickering went back and forth while your head stared down onto the shaking ground. Facing Eren at his titan form now would most likely to cause you to breakdown and sob uncontrollably. You couldn’t bare to see one of your comrades die again in front of you while you stayed with the remaining few just to be a distraction.
You checked your ODM gear to see if there was any gas left. There wasn’t much but it would be definitely enough to kill numerous colossal titans. You held the thunder spears tightly before finally speaking.
“I’ll distract them for you guys, get the flying boat ready,” you said with determination. Levi and the rest widened their eyes in fear. Without even wasting a second, they disagreed with what you said and told you it was best to fight along side them.
“I’ve survived through luck this whole entire time, I think it would be best to pass on my luck to all of you to defeat Eren. I’m also a bit to blame for the rumbling... that was completely my fault, I’ll make it up to you guys by distracting them.” you explained, never backing down to your word. Your friends’ eyes grew wide in fear for you. With a small chuckle, you reassured them.
“Don’t worry guys! I’ll be fine, who knows? maybe I’ll survive and join Annie later, or I can see you at the other side...” As sad as it might sound, tears didn’t drop down your face. With nothing left to say, you approached Levi, his eyes staring down to the floor not ready to face you.
“Y/N, don’t force yourself, I’ll distract them for you...” Levi gripped onto your wrist before he looked at you to see your soft smile. It was telling him to stop forcing himself from saving you again like always.
“Levi.. it’s okay, really. But before I die, will you please promise me one thing?” you asked before the injured Ackerman continued to listen.
“Live for me... alright?” you spoke with a small smile. It was at that time where Levi realized you were being serious about this. But what about his plans with you in the future? Would you really just sacrifice yourself over something so small? An unfamiliar liquid came rushing down his eyes. It has been years since Levi felt anguish, it felt so painful. Even though he experienced it before countless times, you were the first one to make him feel something much more sorrowful.
“I’ll get going now. So long, Levi…” with one last hug, Levi wrapped his arms around you while he hoped you could change your mind. After a few seconds, you let go of him and smiled brightly to your team and him, wishing them all good luck
You fired the strings of ODM gear as it dragged you to the direction. Faster than lightning, you fired the thunder spears at the colossal titans. They fell all the way down the mountain like blocks. You slashed and killed the countless titans as their blood stained your coat. But it came to the point that it was burning from the heat.
Levi couldn’t stand the sight of you killing those ugly titans while you were obviously in danger because of the fire. Without a second thought, he shot his wires to help you. His comrades begged him not to follow you but even when Levi wishes to, he realized that there was no gas inside his ODM gear. In confusion and shock, he realized this was your doing. You were aware that he would be so reckless like helping you distract the colossal titans while injured.
Levi couldn’t do anything but curse while tears slipped down his eyes. If it weren’t for Hange pulling him inside the flying boat, he would’ve stayed. The crew climbed up in the boat before they leaned their heads onto the glass window to watch you mercilessly slaughter them. Your screams of pain and agony were so loud to go unnoticed by Levi.
You couldn’t do anything anymore, your coat was completely burnt and it was burning your skin. One of your blade was already broken in half. You used the remaining gas to boost yourself to another colossal titan before your body exploded. The flames and explosion completely killed you and three other titans since you brought other explosives.
Cries of despair were all what was heard in the flying boat. Armin’s tears stained the floor while Jean and Connie watched how you died. Hange was punching the seat’s cushions and Mikasa cried. Levi’s heart fell heavy but it only became much worse when he reached into his pocket and pulled out a golden ring. It was the one he bought after the two became close.
Even when Levi did continue living his life as a retired veteran, he regrets not sharing it with you. As he gripped the golden ring, wrapped with a string on his neck, Levi wishes you could see him alive and well, as you promised.
Y/N’s last words: “I’ll get going now. So long, Levi…”
