Next try she decided to try and combine the knife block which she deemed a bit too violent, though very effective. She'll not be using it much except in dire moments.

And now the one she will be using the most.

With the weapon of choice made for her spraykind strife specibus, she had a few other, more concerning things to worry about before she returned to the Alchemiter.

(Unfortunately I forgot that she would be in her godtier outfit by then and drew her still in these clothes.)

Sasha is very pratical and, after having to help heal a lot of dersites and prospitians blind, she decided it was bets to get some sort of equipment that could help with diagnosis. Again, because she doesn't know how to work the Alchemiter very well and her previous tries were very rushed, she instead got this. Tim will be beyond amused about it, her consorts somehow end up thinking that this is actually the hero of void instead of Sasha.

next try was... something. Not what she wanted but it was something.

Now something that actually works and isn't pedantic about it.

Her first try at a computer. Interesting but not quite what she wants.

her second attempt is better yet worse at the same time.

it does give her the idea of a hands free diagnosis tool. same sight problem as the goggles, but she's not going to need to use it a lot of the time, only in medical emergencies.

and with two new glasses added to her wardrobe, might as well add some new outfits too. Her first addition, a vaguely bug themed outfit.

Second outfit doesn't stray much from the bug theme.

She does try to give it to Rose, but she's a dual wielder. Someone else does end up using it though, but said person is still a spoiler in my fic at the current time.

Finally something useful. Only for blinding opponents, though. Like a clunkier smoke bomb.

going back through your past posts and now this is my headcannon of the first thing Colin see's after his fate in the epilogue. Just, you know, with the mustaches. (at least until canon tells me otherwise)

when you already have way too many WIPs and fanfiction projects you want to work on, but then your stupid brain drawn a paralel over how people from TMA can reach avatar status by dying after being properly terrified or influenced by a entity and how Tsuna from KHR has to 'die' to reach Dying Will form and now I'm desperatly trying to supress crossover material...

...but already do I know it would start during S2 of TMA where Jon in the most paranoid and why Reborn would be sent to train him and why exactly Nono wanted him to be trained along with Tsuna (it's not because he wants to have an heir and a spare after all his previous heirs got murderized or frozen, though. It's because he hopes Jon takes over Iemitsu's job and helps support Tsuna in the future but up until then Jon and Tsuna think they are both being groomed to be the future Decimo)

So yeah... actively trying to avoid thinking up on this when I have several other projects that I'm planning on writing, as well as all my WIPs but it not working. especially when Tsuna Awake's has been battling with Rose Red from the mechs and Ruthlessness, Scylla and Storm from Epic over dominance over being the earworm of the hour and I can't help but thinking on it.

so, luckily I erased all the pictures my group chat had flooded me with earlier today because it takes too much space in my phone. Unluckly the last image I have that isn't the dogs in my daycare, co-workers or random photos of flowers I took for one of say coworkers is just a set of characters I drew for my TMA and CSAU x-over fic which... I mean, I wouldn't be opposed if it was just one or two of them, but the whole gaggle of characters!? Hun, I'll read polyarchives some times but I'm not ready to be part of them XD.

(can't post the specific image here because I't the final role call for all the 'new' characters I drew to add to the AU and some of them are very spoilerish)

If they don't count because they were made by me I do have a screen shot from when I still played Neko Atsume which is it's own brand of problematic and I'm engaged to Snowball the cat

To add to this, there are also the times that Marinette didn't do anything wrong and she still gets blamed for it and I don't mean when Lila is framing her.

In Relekdoll, Alya was the one who decided to invite Adrien to participate in the photoshoot for the sake of shipping adrienette and put a time constraint on the whole thing, so when Juleka was having a panic attack over the shoot, the moment Marinette so much as suggested to take her place as a way to tell her that she shouldn't feel forced into posing, Alya didn't even give the girl enough time to reply and bulldosed over everyone yet it somehow still end up being Marinette's fault and she, not Alya, has to be the one to apologize.

And that's not even touching Glaciator.

In Defense of Marinette

I like Marinette. While there are many valid criticisms of her writing, the same can be said for literally every other character and she's actually doing pretty well given that she's the main character. After all, in a show where consistent characterization is an ongoing issue, the one with the most screen time will probably be the one who's the biggest victim of the issue.

This is heavily exacerbated by the rule that supposedly governs Miraculous. Namely that, in each story, Marinette must make a mistake. Or, at least, so says the head writer:

I really do not care what this guy says on Twitter or anywhere else. I only care about what's in the show because, if you have to go outside the text to understand the text, then you have no idea how to tell a good story.

However, unlike many of the tweets that I've seen, this one isn't some BS bit of lore. It's a writing rule and it has substantial backing in the text. It's extremely rare to have an episode where Marinette comes out smelling like roses and that's a problem because Miraculous has over 100 episodes. In other words, to follow this rule, the writers have to come up with over 100 ways for Marinette to be wrong so of course she's going to come across poorly. Why would you do this to your main character?

It's extremely common for kids shows to have a "lesson of the day" element to them. Someone always needs to learn something, but I've never seen a show misunderstand the assignment so badly. Learning a lesson is not the same as doing something wrong.

It's been a while since I watched the 2010 version of My Little Pony, but it really leaned into that whole "lesson of the day" thing and it actually knew what it was doing, so I'm going to talk about it briefly to discuss things that Miraculous should have done.

The first thing to note is that MLP had an unambiguous main character - Twilight Sparkle - but Twilight was not the one who learned all of the lessons. She had a pet dragon and a crew of five friends who would, occasionally, be the ones to learn the lesson because there were lots of lessons that simply didn't fit Twilight's character. Instead of warping Twilight to make the idea work (cough cough Ikari Gozen cough), the writers just let someone else have the spotlight for a bit.

This is an excellent way to build out your cast and Miraculous had plenty of opportunities to do it. For example, Lila should not have been Marinette's issue. The fact that Lila hates Marinette could have certainly stuck around, but the one who takes her down and learns to investigate her sources? That should have been Alya. A liar is the perfect enemy for an investigative journalist, but a poor enemy for someone who shines as a battlefield commander and overthinks when she's given too much time.

Another way that MLP would teach lessons was to have someone other than Twilight or the main crew cause the issue that they then had to deal with. This leads to one of the best moments in children's television:

And, frankly? Marinette deserves a moment like this. That poor girl has been through hell and is never allowed to make the right call when it really matters. The show will even completely rewrite its lore to make her fail (see: Strike Back). That is such an awful thing to do to your lead! Shows about female empowerment should include women feeling powerful and, no, Lila and Chloe don't count!

Also, the show is literally about Gabriel taking advantage of people who are upset. You don't need to have Marinette make a mistake to shoehorn in a life lesson. Akumas are life lesson fodder and season 1 actually seemed to get this. I'm not sure why they switched gears to "Marinette is the star and, therefore, must always be wrong."

The final way that MLP taught lessons was to have Twilight do something wrong because having your main character do something wrong is a totally valid way to teach lessons. It just shouldn't be your only way because you know who is always wrong in children's media?

Villains.

They wrote Marinette like a villain.

And a large part of the fandom hates her for it because of course they do.

You're not supposed to like villains.

Ok, what is it with my supermarket only having versions of energy drinks as sugar free with one of two flavors and the original flavor as the exception?

Bitches I don't care about your 'oh but i need to be thinner' or 'sugar isn't healthy' bullcrap. If you are buying an energy drink, it should be because you need that jolt of energy. Guess what has energy? SUGAR!

Making it sugar free is not going to make it any heathier. It's already not healthy to begin with, It's supposed to be the equivalent to a nuke to your lack of energy. By making it sugar free, you are only making it worse because the product is going to need to find substitutes for both the sweetness AND the energy you would get from the sugar.

This is to say: I just spent a whole night waking up one an hour for no good fucking reason, have to get up at 5 am to be at work on time, in a very demanding job that usually also has me working after hours before getting to go home and only survived the day because the restaurant next door had redbulls and am now in sleep debt so I'm going to need to stock up on energy drinks until the end of the week and hopefully pass out for, like, twelve hours or more after wards and I'm pissy and very offended at all the sugar free energy drinks with interesting flavors, but whose use I revile because I have a very rigid stance on sugar free and I haven't had a full night's sleep in a while

Ya'kno I've been having some random thoughts. Because of My constante preocupation with my crossover fics and my hyperfixation on TMA and had a lot of that in mind and, just the other day a reaction to the magic schoolbus doppleganger theory popped up on my youtube recomendation feed after so long and now I'm just... what sort of avatar would Miss Frizzle even be!?!

Is it the Eye because of her lack of bounderies when investigating knowledge? How about how her magic bus doesn't make sense? would that make it a spiral thing then?

So yeah, now I'm craving a crossover and it doesn't exist, and I'm not currently feeling creative enough to make it myself XD

On another note, I'm also been craving a TMA and Hazbin hotel crossover where jmart crashland on the human world and immediately die because dimensional travel is dangerous and one end up in heaven and the other in hell and whoever in in heaven seen Charlie's presentation of Angel and see's the other as a background character and uses the extermination as a way to sneak into hell to reunite. Again, no such fic exists and I don't feel creative enough to write it.
