In 9-1-1 Lone Star Michelle, a female paramedic captain that has fun banter with Captain Strand, leaves and is replaced by Tommy, a female paramedic captain that has fun banter with Captain Strand.

In regular 9-1-1 Abby, a female 911 operator who has a romance with Buck and helps him to be a better person, leaves and is replaced with Maddie, a female 911 operator, and Eddie, who helps Buck be a better person…and will have a romance with Buck
