Rewrite of the previous imagine because it sucked and 80% of it is outdated and the writing a bit boring tbh

(tried to write 2nd person POV so bear with me on this one I have no experience whatsoever in 2nd person POVs)

You were walking down the empty road to your home when you first met that mysterious doll. A friend of yours had made a mess and you helped them clean up till the late night. You felt annoyed having to stay up past the school time just to clean up the mess that could be avoided.

"But what can I do?" You asked yourself. "The past is the past. Still annoyed at them though."

You were walking alongside a river to your home when you heard something that appears to have fallen into the river.

You expected some clumsy wild animal when you checked. But instead, a doll, with a size of a 12 year old, who seemed to be broken. You are tempted to leave it alone. But when you looked at it on the face, you are shocked to see that it's eyes were still moving and was looking at you with a pitiful face.

"No. It's just a trick of light. I'm just too tired."

But that proved you wrong when it started to talk in a weak, broken voice.

"......a.....m...e..."

It was butchered. Yet somehow you understood. It is asking for help. You felt bad leaving it there to break down. And so you took a deep and started to carry the doll and the few broken parts.

A relative of yours have taught some stuff about mechanics and stuff, you should be able to help it. Right?

You've arrived at your home and went straight to your room to put the doll seated on the floor.

"can you hear me?" You asked.

The doll only looks at you with it's dead eyes and said nothing

It's really broken down huh.

"then, don't mind if I check some place of yours."

"...."

"...neck..." It spoke in the same broken tone.

"the neck?" You checked the neck part and surprise, surprise! There is a small compartment there which when you open it, leads to a round thing no bigger than your palm.

A strange little thing to see. Was this perhaps the puppet core? But you've never seen such design and this doll, or perhaps a puppet suited it better, was something that you never saw before either! You take note that you have to ask it when you managed to fix them.

The design is unique and a bit unsettling to look at. The triquetra symbol and a eye-like shape on the middle of it made you shiver a little.

You looked around the core and it seemed fine, but you can never be so sure.

You then looked at the puppet and started to look at the broken parts. It's not fatal, and you can still fix it.

And so you did.

Took you 2 weeks to fix the broken parts and polishing the material of the puppet.

"It's not made of wood... And it's not made of plastic materials... Perhaps it did indeed came from another world. The eyes may seem 'dead' or 'broken' but there's nothing wrong with it. Design of the pattern is creative though." You stood up and stretched a little.

"Well then, time to look at the core once more."

You looked at the core and started to observe, tapping certain places and shake it.

Nothing seemed to be out of place.

Time to try it out.

You inserted the core to the back of the neck and waited.

....

You gave up.

"there's nothing I can do. There's literally nothing wrong that I can see. Aaaaaaahhh! 2 weeks all for nothing!"

When you're about to leave the room for a fresh air, you were shocked by the fact the puppet was awake, with a confused expression on it's face.

"...who....are you..?" It spoke. The voice is working properly! You did it! Relieve spread in your body as you started to converse with the puppet

"my name is Yuu. I'm the one who fixed you."

"...you...?" Realizing your mistake, you immediately corrected yourself

"ah! Um, no, not the 'you' Yuu. Y-U-U."

"..that is.. a confusing name." It seemed to understand basic language, so now you don't have to teach it language like a baby now

"uh.. that is true.."

"...may I call you Raksha?" The puppet asked

"Raksha?"

"Protector. You were the one who.. saved me.. fixed me.."

Now that flatters you.

"sure. Raksha it is." You accepted that name. It sounds cool and you liked it enough.

But then a realization dawned on you. What's the puppet's name?

"now that you know my name, isn't it my turn to know your name?"

"uh.. do you even know your name?"

"...no?" Oh dear. This will be hard.

"do you remember where you came from?"

"not this place apparently." Decent humour. Nice.

"not even who created you?"

"..no?"

"...alright, can you like- can you try to remember some stuff? Surely you can do that right?"

"...it's... Not exactly my true name... But I have heard... I remembered people calling me 'Herscherr'. So perhaps... You can call me that."

"Her..hersh.. I'll.. call you Herry if that's okay?"

"..yes. that is fine."

"and now, what is your pronouns?"

"pronouns?"

"he/him, she/her, or they/them." Hopefully it knows about this.

"...he/him.. or they/them.." it seems to know. Great.

"he/they. Well, nice meeting you, Herry. I hope we get along from here on out."

Some random imagine I'll never write about in the future (.. maybe) so I'll just say what's in my mind rn

Yuu and the sentient puppet

Basically the Puppet just appeared in Yuu's backyard at home

Now Yuu's just stuck with it

Then both of them gets transported to the twst world

(it basically looks like both a girl and a guy at the same time (or like epel, fyi) and their voice can switch from a girl to a boy multiple times (main voice is male voice))

Yuu's coffin get opened first, runs away bcuz grim chasing, Crowley went to fetch em, the ceremony and the reveal of the magicless thing all that happened and there's 1 more coffin to open

Which is the Puppet's coffin

It was opened, the puppet was confused, the students were confused with their looks, thinking they're gonna be sorted into pomefiore, and the ceremony proceeds again (oh since the robes are like, covering the whole body, they don't know it's a puppet

Apparently, the puppet has magic and was sorted to Heartslabyul

Hoo boy they're gonna get a lot of questioning from Yuu

Yuu's giving them a stink eye like: why u no tell me

And ofc for the story to work Crowley founds out both of them are somehow related to eachother and yeah their world didn't exist and such before sending the puppet back to the dorm and such (i can't write sense)

And they're like: dude i don't even know my magic applies here we're not from the same world (and pretty sure the "magic" in my world isn't the same)

Anyways cue to the Heartslabyul part where the stuff and rules and that, when the puppet took of their robes they were shook like

"ur not human?"

"nope, I'm just a lil puppet"

"cool"

They meet Ace, Ace thinks they're cool, be friends! Ayy

(oh and i heard that the Heartslabyul students get like the card symbols assigned to them, so after a few research thanks to someone in the dc server I'm in, deciced that a spade is suitable for this lil puppet)

To the next day where Yuu's just, doing some janitor stuff and like Ace and the puppet passes by, Ace saying he had a plan and proceeds to be friendly with Yuu and Grim, which the puppet thinks "oh! They're just being friendly, that's fine! Yuu need friend :D"

Then when those insults came in

"...woah. that's not rly nice >:("

Cue battle, grim burning the queen of hearts statue, Crowley panic, all of them get punished to wash 100 windows

Skippity skip skip skipppp

The trio waiting for Ace to show up, and he didnt

Went to chase him, meets Deuce, chandelier accident happens

Angry Crowley, him sending them to dwarfs mine and fetch a magic stone to cover up the expulsion

Cue dwarf mine scene, the ghost encounter, and them meeting the monster in the mines

Apparently Deuce is being stubborn when he heard about a stone being inside

Let me write a short badly written fic hehe (note, for the puppets talking, normal is them speaking in a feminine tone, and italic is them speaking in masculine tone)

"DEUCE, WAIT!"

"it's too dangerous for now, please wait, and we'll discuss about this!"

"no, we don't have enough time! I my school life is on the line!"

"OI-"

Deuce ran inside the mine to get the stone

"we need to go after him!"

The trio went to chase Deuce and they found the monster directly behind him, lifting it's pickaxe

"DEUCE, WATCH OUT!!"

When Deuce turned around, and when he saw it, he froze up with fear, closed his eyes and braced for the impact

It did not come. When he opened his eye, the monster's raised hand with the pickaxe was wrapped in some sort of thin but sturdy thread

"GET OUT OF THERE, QUICK!" He heard the puppet yell and does as said.

All of them managed to escape safely

"what were you thinking!? Charging in without a plan like that?"

"i.. i had no choice! I can't be expelled in the first day of finally coming to this school!"

"and oi, what was that just now!?" Ace asked, reffering to the puppet "and uh i didn't catch your name again"

Aight let's just skip this part

"let's save that for another time"

Basically they followed Yuu's plan, succeed, have to fight the monster, which the puppet just straight up summon a huge axe and smacked the monster

"welp that settles it i guess" -Yuu, done with their shit back home

Going back to nrc, Crowley getting emotional over some teamwork which Yuu and the puppet looks at him like: "ಠ_ಠ"

Now Yuu's a student... And a prefect!! Yay!!!

Grim's also a student!! Yay!! Happy happy all

Yuu is still not free from the responsibilities, and the puppet is either angry at Crowley, does not care, or both

Anyways some small skit with the 1st years cuz why not

Ace: Hey uh puppet, do you even have a name?

Puppet: name? Nope, don't have one. Unless you count serial kI-177-eR a name, then yeah it kinda is"l

Jack, writing it down: ..something seems wrong.

Puppet: of course it's wrong, it's my occupation :>

Jack: wait what

Puppet: just kidding :] it's Herrscher. I said it before at the ceremony, it's just that i whispered it so no one heard it

Yuu: and you've never told me?

Herrscher: ye never asked :>

Yuu: I'm so gonna dismantle you again

Herrscher: try me :>

Name: Edler Altefrau (lit. Noble Old Woman, probably cuz she seems noble and old)

Age: unknown, speculated to be thousands

weight: 21 grams.. because she is a spirit perhaps?

Occupation: manager of the realm?

hobbies: apparently theres a lot.. reading and playing music was one of them

-I like to call her old hag for fun, she seemed mad about it at first but eventually let it slide

-She told me she used to be a winemaker back then

-She can actually step out of the realm, but once she did her body just became a pitch black humanoid with blue outlines (it was terrifying and she’s proud of it)

-her eyes seemed dead most of the time, once asked why and all i got was “probably a side effect”

its a bit hard to make it into words, so ill try to describe this imagination of mine

Yuu is from another world like we all know, so what if we adjusted a little to this?

and ofc, there would be OC here so yeah if you dont like OCs just scroll

-Yuu is from another world

-Yuu has a friend who is a spirit, and this spirit guards a library in a vacant “space”

-how did yuu meet the ghost? 

-Yuu is bullied (wow. tragic one author 😒) and was trying to hide from those bullies

-accidentally stumbled towards a door and proceeds to meet said spirit

-spirit is friendly, dont be shy

-spirit is like 2nd parent figure (more of a sister to Yuu) after unmentioned parent 

-Yuu is now the spirit’s unofficially adopted child

-Yuu can enter/exit the realm freely

-Yuu is given a mirror where he can communicate with said spirit 

-one day when yuu exited the realm, just like the original manga/novel script they were knocked out and awoken in the coffin

*insert the entire ceremony pls. the mirror called yuu magicless and the such, grim’s chaos, and skip right to the part where crowley tries to send them home but the mirror said it not exist*

-what do you mean it not exist

-Yuu sad now ;-;

-Crowley ask if there is a identification of some sorts

-Yuu remembered the mirror and tries to contact the spirit

-it worked!!

-Yuu explained, the spirit and Crowley talked for a brief and the spirit asks for Crowley to provide a temporary home for Yuu

-Crowley agrees... not

-cue a very mad spirit, then Crowley agrees because hes gracious

*insert ramshackle thingy, griim returns, the fight with the ghosts, Crowley testing*

-Nighttime arrives, grim already went to sleep and Crowley (he did not leave yet) asks about the spirit. 

-suddenly door appeared and a soft voice called out

-Yuu recognized the voice and opens the door

-there the spirit stands in a grand library

here’s a poor attempt of me writing the story

(oh.. i forgor to mention.. my oc is a girl bcuz i cannot write male original characters.. sorry. ill try to make Yuu gender neutral like the game instead)

The spirit softly called out. “Greetings, headmaster Crowley.” She smiled softly 

“Ah, greetings to you as well, Miss...?”

“(insert oc name). i am (..). thank you for providing a.. temporary shelter to young Yuu.”

“that is simply something i can afford, for i am so gracious!” Crowley said with pride.

“Then.. I shall explain the situation. Yuu, the moment you stepped out of the door to your world, and was transported here, the tie to your world has been cut off. this realm.. it follows the one it favors where ever they go. You have been here for so long, and this realm has taken a favor to you. Because you were brought here, so too the realm has followed you - and me to this world.”

Yuu looked at her horrified, “what.. what do you mean!?” “what im saying is.. unless You returned to your own world, the gate to that world will never be opened.”

“but, you can do something, right? you are in charge here! there must be something you can do, right?” Yuu said with desperation in their voice, hoping that there is a way for them to go back home

“Forgive me, but i do not control what this realm truly wants. it has a mind of its own, yet could not think for others. it is one of the many flaws it has when it was created.” (..) closed her eyes for a brief moment, and spoke

“Headmaster Crowley, you are gracious, are you not?”

“why, yes I am! I am the most gracious of all gracious people, after all!”

“then it won’t be a problem to let young Yuu stay here, is it not?”

“w..well.. aside for the bills...”

“i will pay for all of that.” (.) said which shocked Yuu and Crowley

“but the currency here is different from my world, how are you so sure?” “I told you, young Yuu. this realm has its own laws. this realm is able to connect to all worlds and make their currency for a limited amount.”

there are sparkles in Crowley’s eyes for a brief moment that no one caught

“well then, I accept! Yuu shall temporarily stay in Ramshackle Dorm! For i am gracious and you have asked nicely!”

“Yes.. gracious indeed. but it is quite late now, both of you must rest, or you’ll be tired tomorrow.”

“ah yes, thats right! well then, we shall be off, Miss (..)!” Crowley said with a small wave

“yeah, thank you, Big Sis.” Yuu said with a small wave and turned to the door with Crowley

“Goodnight, both of you.” (..) waved back to them, and went back to her seat.

-before Yuu explained to (..) about their situation, (..) has known about their situation, and the incident with Grim

-She has a small resentment to Grim for almost hurting Yuu with the fire

-she knows because of the mirror she gave Yuu. it allows her to hear whatever is on the other side, but she respects privacy so she modified it so that she can only hear it when it felt that Yuu is in danger

-Yuu and Grim still have to be janitors, much to (..)’s dismay.
